We had dinner, and I can say right away that I'll definitely be back! The food was truly excellent. As I've read in other reviews, the price may seem a little higher than the average restaurant in the area, but at the end of the meal, I assure you, you'll be happy you spent the money. The venison tartare was fantastic, the pizzoccheri were delicious, and the desserts were excellent. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and, above all, fast. I highly recommend making a reservation because the inside space is a bit limited in the winter; in the summer, however, the large terrace offers much more seating. Congratulations indeed: in my opinion, the best restaurant in Aprica!

A very traditional and intimate restaurant, seating a maximum of 30 people. We had mixed cold cuts and onion soup, which were of a decent standard. What really made the difference was the pork shank, one of the best I've ever had. The desserts were also delicious and beautiful. Excellent restaurant A year later, we returned to this little restaurant. The pizzoccheri were delicious, but the star of the show remained the truly fabulous pork shank. It remains one of the best restaurants in Valtellina.

A truly wonderful experience. We dined on the terrace despite the evening temperatures dropping; the interior of the restaurant is also quaint and very well-kept. Dinner was a truly uplifting experience. The dishes were all truly exquisite and generously portioned. The chalet platter was excellent, the ravioli al sassella were delicious, and the pork shank with polenta was phenomenal. The desserts were unforgettable (the tartlet with cream and blueberries and the strudel)—a truly memorable ending. The wine list was also very well-curated, with a wide selection of local wines (mostly Nebbiolo-based). Monica was extremely kind, both in her welcome and in recommending the perfect bottle. For the quality/price ratio and compared to other restaurants in Aprica, the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

For me, this is the best restaurant in Aprica. At first glance, it may seem expensive, but if you carefully analyze the quality and the ingredients, you'll agree that the price-quality ratio is excellent and the money well spent. Looking more closely at the dinner, the chalet appetizer and the sciatt are good, but the venison tartare and pizzoccheri are the real highlights. The desserts are "merely" good. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean. The service staff are courteous and prompt. A well-deserved five stars.

Had dinner with a group of friends. We booked in advance as the venue is quite small. Staff was lovely and so was the food. Only downside is that the restaurant is a bit out of the way. I would recommend driving as the hill go get there is quite steep.

A place to calm yourself down, with a family run business Was the first guest of the day, friendly talks with bunch of cute shephard dogs welcoming you, well educated not to bother guests but if you're a dog lover, they are extremely friendly Decent steak served here, while amazing appetizer offered as well, try their slocef goose breast, the fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes served fit perfectly with the goose breast slices and basamico vinegar, lovely opening for your meal certainly Took the sliced beef steak as main course, having the bites in the wonderful environment enables you tasting the meat's freshness and natural sweetness from medium cooked level Dessert part amazed me the most as not being a sweet dish lover, followed the cute staff's recommendation taking the brownie taste-alike chocolate pudding, the dessert itself is awesome, while eating with the cream flies you up to the heaven, fresh raspberries aside ensure you to have some flavors from the forest when you feel the delicious chocolate might go a bit over to save you back to the earth :) Draft beer is good, they also serve many kinds of alcohols/cocktails as your options The location is interesting as it's hiding inside forest behind the gondola lift station, thought I got lost but by following GoogleMaps makes it easy to arrive. Thanks to the Piccolo Cbalet crew made my day. :)

Very cozy place and very nice staff. It gets a bit "messy" during the turn shifts due to the limited space. Food is amazing! Real North Italy food, you will not get disappointed! If you want to go there you have to book in advance.

È il mio porto sicuro per quando vengo con amici nella mia casa dell’Aprica e la sera vogliamo toglierci lo sfizio di assaggiare del cibo tipico. Locale piccolino con tanti tavoli vicini ma atmosfera molto piacevole, con personale super disponibile e gentile. Per quanto riguarda il cibo lo reputo semplice ma di ottimo livello in tutto, infatti è l’ideale per far assaggiare sciatt e pizzoccheri a chi non li conosce in modo troppo ravvicinato. Anche i secondi sono molto sfizioso, come ad esempio lo stinco di maiale o l’agnello. Il tutto poi si accompagna con un’ottima offerta di vini. I prezzi non sono bassi ma in linea con gli altri ristoranti tipici in cui sono stato.

Ristorante molto bello e caratteristico vicino al parcheggio dell'ovovia Magnolta. Bisogna prenotare in quanto ci sono pochi posti. Posti all'esterno, all'ombra di ombrelloni, molto carini e spaziosi. Cibo molto molto buono, piatti abbondanti a prezzi nella norma.

Luogo facilmente raggiungibile da Aprica che consente di immergersi nell'ambiente montano, basta seguire le indicazioni per il percorso vita che è un sentiero panoramico sopra il paese. I piatti sono quelli tipici della zona come gli sciatt ed i pizzoccheri, da provare lo stinco di maiale.

Primo agognato giorno di sole, giro in moto obbligatorio, voglia di sciat e pizzoccheri perciò direzione passo dell’Aprica. Scegliamo questo posto per la pace ed il paesaggio in puro stile montano. Servizio rapido e puntuale, buona carta dei vini con tante bottiglie da 37,5 cl che non guasta visto che siamo in moto. Il cibo buono ma non sorprendente, mentre il paesaggio merita la sosta.

Cibo tipico valtellinese, buonissimo e di ottima qualità, tutto fresco, un problema è che è davvero piccolo e se magari si vuole organizzare una cena, soprattutto durante le feste diventa difficile perché non si trova posto. Per il resto tutto abbastanza buono

As soon as you arrive at Piccolo Chalet, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The very professional and friendly staff immediately makes you feel at ease. The menu offers a wide selection of exceptional traditional dishes. We sampled several dishes, including wild game and more. They also offer a wide selection of wines, including a vast selection of Valtellina reds. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended and added to our list of top restaurants. The space is very small, so reservations are required. PS: The pork shank is truly excellent.
