Opinions de super tortas Victoria
Best breakfast burrito in Texas! Along with salsa! Everything one their menu is phenomenal. I was lucky enough to be introduced to this when I moved into Dallas 16 years ago through a friend that has passed, and I have consistently been a patron since and expressed too many friends and family the quality and taste and service of La Victoria. I highly recommend if you were looking for an amazing Mexican food experience to come here specifically my favorite thing I love is the breakfast burrito The Lance, all of them amazing personal tip get extra salsa you’ll thank me. This is a Dallas if you know, you know place!
Amazing breakfast burritos! Highly recommend The Zack with cheese. Suggest calling ahead as there is usually a long wait. Very friendly service.
Best breakfast burritos in DFW hands down!! Pro-Tip: Call ahead for pickup so no waiting. Popular spot bcuz it’s that good! Family owned food and friendly staff.
When I tell you, this is a neighborhood spot. One of those things where in an increasingly fast paced and corporatized world, you can enjoy a burrito made with the love and care that only a family owned and operated business can. When I walked in, the lady in the FOH knew almost all the regular's names. I don't know why it spoke to me so much but it did. Almost nobody knows the name of their next door neighbor but in a rapidly developing community, Old East Dallas and its food are alive and thriving in this small spot.
We come for the enchiladas suizas, the tomatillo sauce is tangy and creamy, and the chicken is always tender. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and friendly. Our comfort food spot.
The owner, Vicky, has been faithfully offering delicious bites at this counter service spot for 20 years. We had breakfast Gorditas with steak, eggs and cheese. Lovely owner.
10/10 b-fast burritos. Got chorizo, egg, and potato burrito and bacon egg and cheese burrito. Amazing! Lucy and Vicky were fantastic and had great recommendations. Next time coming back for the Zack attack, they said that put them on the map, and the Don, which is Vicky’s and one of her grandfathers favorite.
La Vic is a Dallas treasure. These are the best and most authentic mexican burritos I have ever had in my dozens of visits to Texas. This place is not Tex Mex, so all the queso and brisket lovers be warned. I’m a lifelong Southern Californian born and raised, so my tastes are admittedly skewed more Mex and less Tex, although I like tex-mex fine enough. But these burritos are the real deal!
I got the Zack Attack breakfast burrito with cheese and it was very good. The burrito itself didn't look very big (compared to regular chain burritos), but that was only because it was so compact (and had good weight to it). The food itself was very flavorful. They have two salsas, mild and hot, the mild didn't taste spicy, while the hot was what most people consider standard.
We got The Lance and bacon, egg, and cheese tacos at La Victoria. Overall, the food was excellent- particularly The Lance. Our service was friendly. My main con was that it took a while to get our food. While I should have called ahead to order (no online orders), a 25-30 min wait ended up taking around 40 minutes. The food was overall great but not worth that long of a wait. Overall, I would recommend this place if you time it correctly with a call ahead order.
The food here is great, but the hours are innacurate. They are almost never there. I have showed up 4 times in the past week during normal business hours and no one has been there.
I really wanted to have this knock me off me feet. Burrito was Anh… a bit bland. Oh well. I just expected more for a burrito that came with a 50 minute wait. IMO (so take that for what it’s worth) Tacos y Mas and Halcyon have way better burritos. Amyway, the service was also…anh. Totally appreciate people taking their time especially in mom-and-pop shops but prioritizing phone orders to those of people who take the time to come in and place an order in person was kind of off putting.
Love the burritos but not sure how to feel about this sign posted up in here… oh baby nah we going elsewhere
Horrible service, waited for an hour and they claimed they didn’t have our ticket. Did not give an acceptable reason or accommodation, nor prioritized our food after admitting a mistake. Token apology was completely disrespectful
We were at the hospital and needed breakfast so we decided to stop by this business since their hours say 7am-2pm on google. When we arrived, the lights were on in the kitchen but nowhere else. They had their hours taped on the door with no time penciled in. We managed to get ahold of an employee and they told us they open at 9:30am and they aren’t sure how to change their hours on Google. We ended up going somewhere else to eat. When we checked their Facebook, the hours also said 7am-2pm. I wish they’d update it somewhere or put it on the door since it is so much later than what is listed everywhere.
waited 40 mins for a very average burrito! staff were all so nice but there’s a sign on the wall heavily implying the termination of iran :( incredibly unwelcoming and weirdly … hostile for a breakfast spot? what ab your persian customers? photo attached of the sign in question, it’s framed right at the front. the lady asked if i was ok bc my mouth was agape after reading it lol. will not eveeeeer be back!! i hope they grow some love in their hearts, as kindness is free ❤️🌈✨
Let me be at least fair. I didn't have the opportunity to even try one of their breakfast burritos. I went 20 miles out of my way to try La Victoria and when I arrived they told me they had stopped serving for 45 minutes because of a large order. I shared with her that I had gone out of my way and could they please add one more and I would wait. She asked the kitchen and they could not accommodate me. I have serious serious issues with that circumstance. I would go out of my way for a customer and especially one that went out of their way to have our food. I am sorry I won't get the chance to try in the future and I am glad that they are busy. My business ant that time was inconsequential.
I’ve been a loyal customer here for a while and I’ll be the first to say the food is genuinely great. I’ve ordered from here many times. But unfortunately, the service and overall speed have gone completely downhill. What used to be a reliable go-to spot has now become a frustrating experience that leaves a bad taste in your mouth no matter how good the food is. Most recently, I waited over an hour. Yes, a full hour. For a single breakfast burrito. That’s just bacon, egg, and sausage. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. There’s absolutely no reason something that simple should take that long, especially when it wasn’t even that busy. It’s gotten to a point where the kitchen seems overwhelmed even during normal hours and the staff don’t seem to be in any kind of rush to fix it. To make matters worse, they’re still cash only which is wild in 2025. So if you show up expecting to pay with your card or Apple Pay like literally 99 percent of places, you’re out of luck. There’s no signage or warning upfront either so it ends up being a massive inconvenience. It’s frustrating to see a spot with good food fall off so hard in terms of service and efficiency. I really hope they figure it out but for now I wouldn’t recommend coming unless you’ve got time to kill and cash in hand.
