We ordered kchopo for five people, and it was amazing. If you're a cheese lover, you'll love the Roquefort sauce. We tried the nachos as starters, and they were delicious. The cava sangria was fantastic. The waiters were very friendly. I recommend making a reservation. For dessert, we ordered all three cakes, and they were all very good.
We were two couples and ordered a cachopo, and the waiter recommended the nachos, which was a great choice. The portions are huge, so they very kindly packed it up for us to take away. The food is delicious, but the fries... I haven't had such good homemade fries in ages. And how can I forget the dessert... The portion is small, he says, haha, oh my goodness, we ate so much! Congratulations team, you do a great job.
We went to try some new burgers and they were absolutely delicious. The cachopos (we didn't order them, but we did see them) looked amazing; it was hard to decide what to try. And the desserts… INCREDIBLE. Even though we came from far away, we plan to return. The service was excellent, super friendly!
What an incredible experience today!!! Spectacular food and amazing service. We have to thank you for serving us with such care and without any rush at that hour (the kitchen closes at 4 pm and we arrived (after asking) at practically 3:45 pm... potatoes with Cabrales cheese, pig's snout, and the spectacular oxtail rice... absolutely insane! LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Absolutely delighted. The portions were incredibly generous and everything was delicious. It was a shame we were out of the cachopo. The waiter, a very young guy, gave us excellent service, which, in my opinion, is a shame because we need more qualified young staff in the hospitality industry. Thank you 😊
Great experience.
Everything was very good. We ordered a tapa of snouts and were amazed. They weren't just good, they were to die for. The best snouts I've ever eaten, truly delicious. We ordered scrambled eggs with ham and oxtail, both delicious. The plates are generous; you have to come hungry, and if you're not a big eater, you might end up with leftovers. If you think you won't eat it all, be responsible and ask for leftovers to be packaged to take home. The staff is friendly, but a bit slow in my opinion. We'll probably come back again.
Fantastic!!! Lucía and Francesco provided excellent service!! The place is clean, with air conditioning and a large terrace. We ordered the nachos and they were delicious!! Then the cachopo was a hit, a big one to share and very tasty!! Lightly breaded and generously filled!! After that, we tried two hamburgers, also very good, with fries on the side, and the classic cheeseburger was my favorite. To finish, we had two cheesecakes: one Filipino and one Lotus, which were very satisfying, and I preferred the Filipino one!!!
Brutal
Ok
I was eager to discover what Santa Locura had to offer. At first glance, I noticed the space was quite spacious, which I liked, but it turned out that the tables for two they offered me were quite close together...perhaps, in my humble opinion, it would have been better to leave a little more space. I think the other tables for four or more diners were well-spaced and well-equipped. The atmosphere is calm, comfortable, and super-well-equipped, considering the amount of food being prepared in the kitchen. I think it's well-insulated, and that prevents the place from smelling too much smoke. On the contrary, they have a good ventilation system, and it's very noticeable. Outside, they have a large terrace. Perhaps I'll go another day to try the impressive portions they serve. And that gives me cause to comment that the portions of the dishes, whether salad or meat, are above average...and I assure you, you'll leave with a full stomach. I was planning on eating cachopo... but we saw so much food being served at other tables and they recommended the Milanese, so thank goodness we did. We were more than surprised by the size of the dishes, and that's great and worth mentioning... that's why I'll definitely be back. The price, in our case, was under €40 and we were really satisfied... that's why I was left wanting more cachopo, maybe another time if I get together with other gluttonous troglodytes like me...!! I definitely think it's a highly recommended option, and the burgers looked really good... All in all, I really liked it and I'm going back to order some more portions and finally discover what they have to offer...!! I'll be back.
We'd been recommended to go. I have to say it's exactly as we'd been told. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, the service good, the portions very generous, and everything very good. They informed us of what wasn't on the menu because they were closing the next day for vacation, so we appreciated the information. Everything was very good. Perhaps the only drawback is that the steak was ordered medium rare and was overcooked, but hey, it was still edible. And they put whatever was left over in a takeaway box for us. Very good in every way. Recommended. We'll definitely be back.
Highly recommended if you're fairly hungry, due to the amount of food in each dish (a big plus). We loved the dishes we ordered. Excellent service, very pleasant and very fast. We had the Filipino cake for dessert and also really liked it. As a slight constructive criticism, they could change the chairs, as they are somewhat uncomfortable.
We went to Santa Locura (Viladecans) and the experience was quite extreme: on the one hand, the portions are enormous and they don't skimp on quantity, but on the other, there were some important details that left us with mixed feelings. To start, we ordered a cachopo for four people, and in terms of size, it was more than adequate: it's a very substantial dish, designed to be shared, and it was generally tasty. Even so, it wasn't perfect: in some parts, we noticed that the meat was too raw, which for a dish like this can be quite a drawback. It wasn't inedible, but it was something that was clearly noticeable and, at least in our case, detracted considerably from the experience because it made us hesitant to eat the undercooked parts. In addition, we ordered a sauce to accompany the cachopo, and this is where we felt they went too far. The amount was disproportionate: it came in a jug, which seemed excessive for what's really needed to accompany a cachopo. And the price didn't help either: €9 for that sauce seemed expensive, especially considering it doesn't really elevate the dish to that level of cost, and you end up with more sauce than you can use, plus it's very thick. It's one of those things that leaves you with the feeling that "this isn't quite right" in terms of quality and price. As for the desserts, they're also enormous, just like the rest of the dishes. If you like leaving with the feeling of having eaten a "big meal," this place definitely delivers. It's clear the restaurant's philosophy is all about abundance, and in that sense, they certainly deliver. However, those looking for more balanced portions or a more refined experience might not find this the place they're looking for. The weakest point for us was the service. We found it slow, and the waiters seemed inexperienced: their lack of fluency was very noticeable, as if they were still learning how to manage the pace and customer service. This, combined with the wait, made the experience less comfortable and less seamless, because when you're dining in a group and ordering dishes to share, you really appreciate quick and attentive service. In short: it's a place with huge portions and a menu that might appeal to you if you're looking for generous servings and food to share. The cachopo was good, but the raw meat in some parts, the cost and excessive amount of extra sauce (€9), and the slow and unprofessional service meant the experience wasn't perfect. We would probably return only if they improve these details, because they have the potential, but right now we were left with a lukewarm feeling.
