Really good tasting food at a good price. My only complaint was that the chicken was shredded instead of cut and it is pretty dry because of this. Service is always caring and considerate.

It's Japanese food on a budget! And it's surprisingly good! I fetched a Loca Mocha Java Monster from the Save-mart next door and got a free cup of ice to accompany the teriyaki chicken bowl I bought. Much of the meal was incredibly tender and juicy to bite into, the rice being cooked to a comfortable al dente alongside the tangy teriyaki sauce. And speaking of which, they provided plenty of it so be careful adding it as to not over flavor your food. The shrimp was nice, but just a bit flavorless and marginally thin proportions. But again! It's all on a budget and saving money while enjoying a decent meal is within reach for the location. Give it a shot! I know I'll be coming back.

I love their wings but expect to wait 20+ minutes for them to be ready. I usually call in and order the wing plate ahead of time but during lunch/busy hours you may be hit with the busy tone- just try and call to order again. I’ve heard their Goshen/Akers location is better than this one but overall I love this place.

Chicken bowl was so worth it. Love the shredded chicken. Gave us extra napkins that is always a plus. Awesome tea with some sugar packets I added.

The spicy teriyaki chicken bowl was good but the spicy tuna rolls were bland and had very little spicy tuna and lots of rice. Disappointed

Order a spicy tuna roll and it was more rice than tuna. California roll was alright. The service is not good. No customer service all.

Had to be the least Japanese Japanese food I've ever had. At least it was edible, it wasn't horrible, but it was unimpressive in every way and not anything like described or advertised. For example, our teriyaki chicken was a whole chicken leg grilled like a BBQ or rotisserie with some teriyaki sauce burned on it. Basically American or Mexican BBQ chicken with a slight hint of teriyaki flavor. My wife wouldn't even eat it. Location and ambiance were both a little sketchy, used flimsy paper plates and utensils, and the menu was misleading at best. Definitely not a place I'd send my wife alone. The servers were polite but as it turned out not very helpful in informing us that the food was going to be unlike advertised or answering our questions like anyone who'd eaten Japanese food would answer them. They towed the line while being nice about it. The tempura was halfway decent, and they had good steamed rice so there's that. Might as well call this American food or something though and just make up a new menu with some more honest dishes.

Asked for chicken bowl, and asked if they had a meal with temp shrimp and was charged $21.00. From out of state and didn't think anything about it, they charged me for 2 meal, which the 2nd one went in the trash I always make sure to visit when in California, but not to happy with what I was charged and even called to complain

Sad to see this place fell off! $8.00 for these little fried pieces called Vegetable Tempura. This place used to be awesome, but the food has really taken a huge hit. Service was horrible, Indian girl with glasses didn’t say a word of thank you, you’re welcome - nothing. Just completely absent from any manners. You can tell owner is never there and just lets kids run the place. Last time I’ll be going.

I bet this customer won’t return again. I won’t name drop the cooks name. But it starts with an “A”

The food was great, but the atmosphere was absolutely terrible. Two male employees were in a heated argument in the back and were yelling at each other extremely loudly, with one accusing the other of not washing any dishes that day, etc. This went on for a good 15 minutes before we finally had to get up and leave. We were legitimately afraid that one of them might have a gun and start shooting. We will never return to this place again.

Food is ok but it’s not teriyaki sauce it’s soy sauce with a hint of teriyaki then they get mad if you say something about it being to salty because it’s mostly soy sauce
