This is one of the very best restaurants in Visalia!! Amazing food awesome employees and very clean restaurant. It’s my absolute favorite I try to get here as often as possible 😁

I am obsessed with Japanese chicken curry. At this location it is very good. There’s 1 other place in Visalia who serves chicken curry at $ price (starts with M) and there they give you chicken bones and terrible service. Here at Tokyo teriyaki bowl it is high quality service, the staff know the menu and the food is freaking delicious!

My favorite of all places for great prices and quality food at that. Its clean the service is always friendly. If you're looking for a quick fix for sushi without the expensive fancy stuff this is the place.

Been coming to this place for about 23 years now. Everything here is great, but the teriyaki chicken bowls and beef bowls are my fave. My daughters 4 and I've been bringing her here since she was 2 and she loves it.

One of the best hidden gems in Visalia. Great authentic Japanese food. This place has been in the same location for decades and is easily missed in the side strip of businesses in The Mooney Walmart Parking lot. It is definitely worth trying. They have Tokyo Gardens style Japanese, but at a cheaper more grab and go look. Tokyo Teriyaki is the best, perfectly cooked, quick, and affordable Japanese in town. They have great chicken bowls, bento boxes, fresh 🍣 sushi and more. My girlfriend has been going there for almost her entire life and loves them and got me introduced to this place and now I love it too. They are small, always clean, and never packed so its great for dine in lunch.

This place is a little hole in the wall. Most people dont know about it but I would like to change that. The food is awesome and priced very nicely cheaper than fast food but way better. I personal favorite is the chicken cutlet bento box with tempura vegetables and make your california roll crunchy makes it 10 times better. If you like japanese food give it a shot you wont be disappointed.

I love to eat here at lunch and often will host informal lunch meetings here. The workers are friendly. The menu has a lot of variety and decent prices. Orders are made quickly. I have yet to order something that I didn't like. Today, my kiddos wanted something special as a treat so I ordered the large teriyaki chicken tray -- pictured ‐‐ and was blown away by the amount of food!!! It tastes amazing and my kids are stoked. We will 100% order this again.

Stopped by for lunch and got the Chicken Pad Thai. Wow it was really good. I actually didn't add any other sauce to the food as I felt like it would take away from the original flavors in the Thai noodles. I'm glad I didn't. Not too salty and just the perfect taste. Plenty of meat in the noodles.

They won me as a lifetime customer with that one. The chicken teriyaki bento meal was just another reason to come back. I’m currently fighting the urge to come back for the third day in a row 😬 if that tells you how much I love the food here

I found this place years ago when I first moved here and at first I thought they only sold Teriyaki bowls and sushi but when I looked at the Yelp reviews and the menu I saw that they also offer Pho so guess what I stopped, ordered me pho, egg rolls and cucumber salad. not too fond of their cucumber salad, it'll pass but probably won't buy it again. there pho was just amazing and their egg rolls was delicious. so another great place in Tulare area that offers PHO

One of the best bento boxes around, I always get the chicken. Beef is a little greasier. Tempura vegetables are one of the best, the dipping sauce is just right.

Not easily noticed unless you are keen on finding a food joint, but the food and service are solid. Secretly my favorite place on Mooney for good Asian food, with a good balance of healthy and tasty. Good amount of seating too, so bringing your friends and family for lunch or dinner are not a hassle.

Instant stomach ache. Not recommended. My husband and I got the teriyaki beef, gyoza, crunchy roll and super California roll. The super California was warm when it was brought out, and lacked flavor. The crunchy roll was okay, same with the gyoza. The beef teriyaki was terrible. It smelled like dog food and the beef could have been grilled a little longer.

Tonight was our first night here. Actually i am still here. But can't believe we had to wait 50 mintues just to get 1 plate of our 6 plate order! And the waiter was still rude about when we asked where was our order.

We ordered the teriyaki beef. The meat had the oddest texture and flavor. Almost powdery. Maybe it's been frozen too long? The rice was particularly mushy. Neither of us could eat it. The tempura tasted like It was cooked in old oil. Won't be returning.

Nearly DIED, worst food ever!! Got the "special" as recommended by the waitress which was the Seafood pad Thai, waited about 30 minutes for it...so I decided to wait the other 20 minutes in my car. Finally, when it was done she brings it out to me to my car(hungry nonetheless I receive it and go) I get home to only realize that there was only 3 and a half shrimp. Paid around 10.99 plus tax for it. The shrimp were covered in a sauce to disguise the foul smell coming out of them. The shrimp were rotten/expired. The noodles were soaked in a sauce that seemed poured out of a bottle that by the way I tasted and gaged. The taste of the shrimp had penetrated the noodles, but then again maybe it had all been frozen together. Poked at the shrimp with the fork it was rubber, it had been so overcooked it turned into a complete circle. Terrible disturbing experience I am truly disgusted oh and all while being pregnant. NEVER AGAIN!
