Disappointed with My Recent Experience I was looking forward to enjoying a great lunch, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. I ordered the Double Chicken Avocado Salad, and was surprised to find that it only contained wilted lettuce, overcooked chicken, overripe avocado, and old corn. Several key ingredients that are typically part of this salad were missing entirely. This was not the quality or experience I anticipated, and I hope steps are taken to ensure greater consistency and attention to detail moving forward.

Went in the Visalia El Pollo Loco restaurant Wednesday afternoon. Ordered the 8 piece family dinner with 2 large sides. Chicken was good but the rice was hard. It was very crunchy. Had to call and speak to the Mgr. The beans had a lot of water in the cup. I had the beans in other El Pollo restaurants and never had that much h water in the cup. Corn tortillas just did not taste good. Our meal was not so good.

Before I arrived I downloaded the app and began to place an order for my daughter and I, in the special instructions I wrote "2 legs" she only likes the legs, for mine I requested extra avocado @$1.49. ~cut to the end, I had to go back in because they missed the"2-leg" request, I didn't notice the shortage of avocado until I was about to stick a fork in it... I snapped a pic for proof. Paying attention to detail is what separates one from the rest. BTW, the food itself is always good!

I found 2 good size bones in my chicken burrito. Luckily I eat slowly, so I was able to remove them. However, a fast eater or a child may not be as lucky. Now I am afraid to order any food here that has pieces of chicken in it. This location needs to be more careful in food preparation considering the possible outcome.

The owners or managers of this restaurant are so damn greedy!! With the food and especially the CHICKEN!!!!!! A disappointing experience with this place. They forget the customers is what keeps restaurants open!!!!!!

Came to buy dinner for my family they said it was a 30 minute wait for chicken. How are you going to run out of chicken. I left I’m not waiting 30 min what are they doing that they let the chicken run out.

Extremely rude employees & their dining room is always filthy. Employees will talk & treat you with blatant disrespect. Avoid coming here at all costs & spend your money at other more deserving businesses instead.

If i was able to rate this place with NO stars i would. I had a a hair in my salad that made me lose my appetite. I wanted to say something to them but the poor customer service i just wanted to leave. I hope no one has to experience what i just did.

The chicken was burned and dry and the one cooking the chicken had to ask another worker how to cut it up... We had to pull off the burned top skin to eat the dry meat and the Bone marrow between the beast and wing looked red and bloody... The problem was they cooked it on too high of a flame and burned the outside before completely cooking the inside... I will never go back until they train their workers better... While there the children of a large family of came in and were complaining about the chicken being bad and the dad said, "What's wrong.... I like burnt chicken!" This place needs help!

They are not worth the money. If you work for your money spend it somewhere else. Service was horrible, they didn't have enough chicken prepared to serve us the 8 piece family meal we ordered. They offered us 7 pieces (all they had on the grill) and no compensation for the short amount. A restaurant that doesn't have food prepared to sell when that is the business they are in. Their parking lot says everything that needs to be said about the restaurant, the weeds and condition of the plants leave a lot to be desired especially with the prime location. Don't eat there.
