Sat at the booths in the bar for the first time. No air conditioning, it was pretty uncomfortable. Even the waiter knew it, because he kept my water glass full. Food was spectacular as always and service was awesome. Just need to work on the atmosphere to get 5's across the boards.
I can't say enough about this establishment, the place is awesome, the food is to die for, the service is exquisite, no matter what the occasion this will always be a favorite. Thank you olive garden for making such great memories to a broken family. 🫠
Thank you Doug for made this evening more special for my birthday girls. Great service !
Everyone is friendly from the hostess to the server....the menu has a good selection...the Salad was cold and crunchy, best way to enjoy....food was served HOT....Great experience...
Demari was awesome as our waitress.
Fancy restaurant indeed. Staff was nice. The food was also good. The menu is quite big so their is something for your preferences.
Zeba was an amazing waitress, she is on top of her serving game. I love olive garden lunch special, can't go wrong soup bread sticks and entree under $15. God Bless 🙏
I am very picky when it comes to eating authentic Italian food. This is the only restaurant in the tri county area that has never disappointed me. Their prices are good, you good amazing food at a great value! I love the fact they have new healthier options on their menu! For example, As pictured... The Spiralized Veggie Pasta, and it was delicious. It is Zucchini and yellow squash spiralized into veggie pasta, tossed with whole grain linguine, tomatoes and garlic in a scampi herb sauce. I Added a lil shrimp! I highly recommend trying it, and their Chicken Gnocchi Soup!
Really enjoyed our lunch as well as our desserts. We had a great server who was the sweetest and made it enjoyable, thank you Efrain R!
We came to this Olive Garden straight from the Sequoia Park after visiting the General Sherman Tree. I don’t know if it was the hunger we worked up after the day in the nature and walking a lot and breathing fresh air, but this was one of the best meals ever! The food was soooo goood! The best chicken Alfredo and mozzarella cheese, the tastiest Caesar salad with flavorful croutons lol The service by was fast, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend! 🫶
Our server Vriana was awesome--was my birthday and she made it extra special. Also had grandkids with and she was great with them. Food was fantastic. I shared my lasagna with my granddaughter as they didn't offer it on the kids menu. They split it in half and put it on her own plate which she really liked.
Its not my kind of food, but it was once in a lifetime to just try it.
Loved it!!! Phenomenal service! Alexa was our server and literally got our food right away. We got here at 7:50 and we had our beverage and soup served almost immediately and our entree was not far behind. We had our food served to us at 8:00pm. It was all very tasty and a lot we took home our leftover definitely love coming here and will continue to do so.
Great service courteous personnel and food omg DELICIOUS!
I love this place. A super nice young lady working there asked me how I was doing. I think she was the manager there, named Mariah. Way super nice and asked how my day was going. Meal was so good. They made the baked ziti with meat sauce like it should be made. Always a line. Food was delicious and I liked all the staff I talked too. Everyone was happy and helpful.
We just went in for a quick bite to eat!!! We had a soup with Gnocchi. It was very appetizing!!!
Amazing! It had been years since my last visit and I was hesitant. Having celiac disease, eating can be a headache! They have a gluten free menu, they’ll prepare your food in a separate area. The manager hand delivered my food and they were extremely kind and helpful! We will definitely be going again! So so happy!
Great food, good value, quick seating and friendly staff, definitely return
Eli was the best! My family came here to celebrate my great grandmas 96th birthday over 4th of July weekend and it was a great experience. Eli took all 15 of us by himself and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. I’m a sever / bartender myself and was very impressed with how he handled the large group. (Especially with a few needy elders). The food was great, but the service Eli provided made it a night we will all appreciate and remember.
Went for dinner with family on 12/9/23. It was around 6pm on a Monday. It was not too busy so we got seated right away. Our food came out quickly and was both fresh and hot. Very delicious!!! 😋 I just wish they turned up the heat because it was a bit nippy and I noticed most other guests were still wearing jackets. The fireplace wasn’t even lit. But I will have to forgive that because our waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly! Thank you Andre! He made sure we were well taken care of, and he always came by with a smile. Had such a wonderful and welcoming demeanor! Servers like that are rare! So Olive Garden management, give that guy a bonus!
Everything was great! Been there about 6 times this year. Always a great experience
My wife and I had an amazing dinner together.
Today I was on a date with my partner and it was such a pleasant experience to dine here! Adolfo was a great waiter and made this experience 100% worth it. Will be returning. Thank you Olive Garden.
The place was FREEZING!!!!! Get the AC fixed or turn it down! Customers should not have to shiver and their food should not be cold as soon as it hits the table! And when you put you name on the list, online, why is it you still have so long to wait? Something is wrong with that!!!!
My mom and I enjoyed a lovely time at the Olive Garden. We both ordered stuffed chicken marsala with mash potatoes and gravy. The chicken was juicy and tender. We both liked our dish. For the entree, my mom ordered Toscana soup, and I ordered a salad. But normally, my favorite to order is the Toscana soup. Also, I like to order their seafood alfredo pasta. This is good as well.
Just had the best service I’ve ever had. Ilihas/Ilias I didn’t see the name tag well enough to recall spelling but seriously the best server I’ve ever had, thank you. Food was great as always.
Amazing experience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh. Our waitress Adrianna was so sweet and nice. We just loved her. And the hostess Bella was incredible. She right away greeted us with a beautiful smile. Clovis and Visalia is our favorite locations to come. Because of the food and services we receive.
Had an amazing Veterans Day meal at Olive Garden. The food tasted incredible, the chicken parm, ravioli, salad, and breadsticks were all perfect. But the service made it even better. Every waiter and waitress was kind, fast, and genuinely welcoming. They really made us feel appreciated. Huge thank you to the whole team for making the day special!
We went today to eat dinner for my daughter’s birthday the food was awesome as usual the service was exceptional and they even brought her free cake and sang her happy birthday… the place was packed. we got in line online so we only waited about 5 minutes for a table though.
We stopped in at 9:30 expecting a rushed experience and were given a wonderful dinner by Dougie, our server. He let us take our time, primitively put in more pasta for us in case the kitchen was closing, and even came out and sang happy birthday to my boyfriend when there were no customers in the restaurant left. Dougie made our night!
The service was incredibly fast once we were seated even with the incredibly packed Sunday night business. I'd definitely recommend using the app/website to join the queue on busy days like this one. Cut about 20 minutes from our wait.
This was our first time dining in Olive Garden (recommended by one of our friends) and we really liked it a lot. All the dishes were tasty, full of flavors. Their bread were so warm and fresh - very good in taste. We would definitely visit again soon and make this restaurant chain in our regular visiting list 🙂
Food was so good and loved that they celebrated the birthday girl in such a fun way. The cocktail was just right. Now, I am secretly hoping someone takes me there for my birthday next month, too. Lol. My son was good at the ambiance as normally he has a little anxiety. The spot give helped, and that's a good tip for parents with young kids, always get towards the end corner, especially if you have anxiety kids. He did well
My 9yr daughter wanted to use her gift card to take me out for lunch. Boy, was we in for a surprise when they brought out the food, and it was more than we could handle. The service was awesome, very friendly, and they sang her happy birthday. we will definitely come back for more. The food not just looks good it was GREAT we drove home talking about it on what to order for are next visit soon, thank you all for such a great experience.

All dishes ordered were excellent. The only problem was all 3 waitresses forgot our dinner ware. Our salad got sum what warm. Each said they would be right back with it. Finally the waitress that escorted us to our table brought the dinner ware. Everything else was excellent.
Went Thanksgiving week. Service was great. Always had a new soda without asking, and the calamari appetizer is so good. But the pasta was pretty mid. And atmosphere felt rushed and not a very cozy vibe. Felt more like a food court in a mall
I have a very low grade gluten allergy - no celiac or anything but boy did this make my meal experience miserable. I don't know how many times I told them not to worry too much as I wasn't going to die from a little bit of gluten, I had a supervisor warn the kitchen, a manager come to my table twice to argue my choice of meal(chicken and potatoes) and my meal came 15 minutes after my husbands did. You would think that they would have the decency to comp a drink or something but we received the bill with everything on it and full price. And to add fuel to the fire - it was my birthday. update: Olive Garden did well in making this right. We revisited the restaurant and had a wonderful experience with an excellent waiter and had a delicious meal. The difference was to just let the waiter know that the gluten issue was a "preference" rather than an allergy. To those the redeemed the restaurant, Thank you!
The restaurante was nice and the food is delicious, however if you're not American and not used to the amount of food served, you might get overwhelmed. As I am used to real italian food, i had to find out, that this is not similar to italian food at all. However, I would definitely recommend a visit.
Just went in for some dessert. We had the Limited Time Chocolate Brownie Lasagna which was very good. Very dense so it kind of dries up your mouth with every bite but the flavors go well. You get more of the cream cheese than chocolate but that's okay. Also the picture on the book shows way more chocolate flakes over the cake than actual presentation.
The service is just AMAZING! Food was average, we ordered: Fried shrimps: taste good but shrimp is not fresh Kids Pizza: It does not taste pizza, just A cheese on flat bread Lasagna: it should be filled with minced beef not cheese, we do not recommend it. Strawberry smoothie: delicious
Food is good, service was great. My only complaint is the restrooms. They stink!!! As soon as you open the door you can smell urine! I think they should hire a cleaning service for the restrooms.
Always an amazing place for dinner with family and friends. The late was A LOT longer than usually due to restaurants reopening. We waited a little over 2 hours for a family of 5 on a Saturday evening. Besides the wait the food was amazing and drinks came fast, and our server was perfect!
Fast food Italian food, but they've got their menu down and their servers are likeable and very well-trained. Food is good, especially if you customize it how you like, though some things are a little on the salty side. There aren't a ton of mid-range Italian places in Visalia anymore and I'd go here over Rosa's.
Wait time is horrendous. Food was good, not great. Food was warm not hot, very packed restaurant. Appetizers were about 30-45 min wait because the fryer couldn't keep up. We had 3 different waiters due to breaks and wait time. Expect a 2-4 hour visit during dinner time.
Okay so I got the endless pasta. AMAZING by the way. But you know what else was amazing? The food runner, the diva, the queen, the one and only Peyton. She made my experience 10 times better. And she wasn't even a server?? Promote her NOW. If shes not my server next time I come I will be very upset. I just met her and I love her so much. She is so much fun and does so much for this establishment. 10/10 would come again i will be tipping her and HER only.
I ordered the grilled chicken margarita with minestrone. The minestrone was exquisite like most of the soups here. The chicken was juicy and moist, but the broccoli was definitely way overcooked. The server was also really welcoming and nice. The main complaint I have is that the prices are reasonable WAY too high for the quality of food. Even if the prices are the lowest they can be, I would recommend going to a local Italian restaurant like Bistro de Buffalo.
The food was great but my one issue was the service. I came here a few months ago in October with my girlfriend to celebrate our one year anniversary, and as small talk I told the host bringing us …

I'm not a fan of this place. Very overrated and overpriced for what it is. I'd rather go across the parking lot to outback. With that being said, the only thing I like here and would actually recommend is the Tuscana soup. I ordered chicken Alfredo and it was just ok, definitely not worth what they charge. Service is hit and miss here, this visit was decent. Also I should mention, whatever wait time they tell you, be prepared to wait an extra 20-30 minutes
Didn't get my birthday song and she knew . My favorite soup was nasty it tasted spoiled or something . The pasta was good tho. They put us in a place where the floor and table was dirty when I asked for a booth. But there were clean booths elsewhere
The last time I ate at an Olive Garden was about 15 years ago. This was my first time since then. I order pasta fagoli and the fried shrimp appetizer. The soup was so water down I thought I was drinking water, absolutely no flavor, I couldn’t even eat it. The fried shrimp was tasty but the shrimps weren’t cooked all the way, those were also push aside. I now remember why I don’t visit the Olive Garden, food just has nothing that’s worth eating. The drink I ordered was forgotten by waitress I had to ask about it twice, when finally the manager came over to apologize to me, which I appreciated. I paid for my meal even though it was barely touched.
First, let me start with our server she was absolutely flipping amazing!!! She was patient, kept our glasses full, bread flowing, and was so sweet with my daughter. She was only doing this a week props to her she's fantastic. Now on to the food, it's OK, not great. Everything kind of has a dirty dishwater taste, including the lemonade. The food is very "basic" it's something I could put together at home pretty easily and much cheaper.
Usually the waiters and waitresses at Olive Garden are professional when trying to accommodate seating. However, our waitress, Angela displayed very inappropriate behavior towards our waiter after changing our seating. Our new waiter came to our table confused. Come to find out Angela never put in our order. I understand accomodating our seating may have been such an inconvenience for her. However, Angela needs some lessons on how to be professional and respectful to not only customers, but her co-workers.
the experience really depends on the server… usually with the older servers you get superb service! there’s one man in particular who is exceptional! he’s worth all the servers put together and then some! the young ones are just there to punch in and out…won’t ask to refill your drink… just the absolute bare minimum… they’re just not even present… if that’s the attitude then just hire AI robots to deliver food to the tables and keep the servers who hustle and are proud.
We went to OG to celebrate my birthday. The food was decent. I was expecting/hoping it would be AMAZING but it was just... okay. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean; however, it took a long time to be seated and we had to sit outside while we waited. I did like that they kept us updated via text message as well as allowed us to check our status directly from our phones. I just expected so much more as far as the food goes. We don't mind paying a lot of money for excellent quality. The food just wasn't the best. If I never go to OG again, I wouldn't be disappointed.
The food is delicious. My children love the fettuccine Alfredo. The servers, although busy always try to cater and are usually on top of things given the amount of tables they wait on. However, we have noticed that the hostess is extremely rude and her attitude is not positive. It seems as she is annoyed to be helping you and signing you in. She does not offer positive, friendly customer service. We were dining on 11/8/25 at around 4:30-5:30. The service we receive from the hostess is unpleasant, and it truly sets the tone of our dining experience and our evening. We’ve had similar experiences with that same hostess. Not sure her name, but she is always there and in the past it’s been so bad that we do have to speak to the manager. Hopefully things change in regards to this type of service. It’s a shame that people come to enjoy and celebrate and we support this chain and are met with this type of service.
A lot of variety of pasta options. Some meat and fish also. The dishes are not the best but it's okay of you are going with a group. They offer to put cheese in every dish of the menu, regardless of what it is. The place can be a bit noisy depending on how many people there are. The staff is very friendly. There's a tablet on the table, be very careful when touching it as they can charge you extra depending on what you use it for. You can order in advance and they take the food to your car outside.
Made reservation over the phone, still waited 1 hour to be seated when arrived, we're told 15 minutes wait during phone reservation. People were seated before us who were walked in. We were told that we had to get on the waiting list to be in line for seating eventhough we made reservation on the phone. We were only a party of 5 peoples and there were larger party that were seated before us.
Arrived after reading the web site. No reservation taken! And was told it would be 1 hr 45 minute wait for a party of 10, because they just started taking reservations. We left!
The food is horrible. The service is excellent. The atmosphere was great but that food was cold and lacked flavor
Had dinner at the Visalia location. It was FREEZING inside the place. They have a fireplace but didn't have it on! Numerous customers were wearing hoodies, sweaters and jackets just to eat! My server was pleasant, just very slow in taking my order and bringing my take out containers. He forgot my breadsticks for my "to go" order as well. They do NOT have any military discount even though I received one TWICE over the Summer when I had lunch there! 🙄 Lastly, they ran out of Silverware! They gave customers PLASTIC forks, etc., to eat with. THIS is UNACCEPTABLE! WHO does that!!!??? Olive Garden on Mooney in Visalia.... you have some explaining to do! Management dropped the ball on this place!
I am not really sure what's going on with the franchise 😕 but the service and quality of food have become abysmal. Although the salad and bread sticks were 👍 as always, the entre, on the other hand, was truly sad! The main course was "warm" at best. Taste was less than blan! Scallops were obviously cut into shape and tasted the same as the faux crab meat sold in most grocery stores 😒 I'm sorry, but Olive Garden is no longer on my "to go" list!
Customer service Really needs work. Didn't get full order. Also ordered all you can eat soup and salad. Waiter returned once to check on us in half an hour.
We just went to celebrate my sister’s birthday and Brett was out server. When it came time to pay we used the machine until it didn’t let us anymore so Brett separated mine and before it being separated there was $212 left to pay. I paid mine which was $74. After I paid the machine showed $230 left, so because it messed up we went to the front to finish paying. Brett insisted there was $230 left to pay even though we all showed him were we had paid and he even had all the receipts. Rather than take the time to address the fact that I kept saying it was $212 before I even paid the $74, he continued stating we owed $230. My nephews who are non confrontational just paid it and said they’d take all the receipts and add it when they get home. Needless to say my sister’s, niece’s, and her boyfriend’s meals and drinks were all double charged. We all believe they need to go to the manager and let them know. Our concern should have been addressed and we should have never been double charged for anything. Not a happy customer and I definitely won’t be going back.
If you dont tip at pick up they sure will leave your order last, if you tip your get your order faster.
This place is a catfish. it looks all cool but the food is mid & the wait times are horrible even with nobody there. The waiter looked like they didn’t care.
ridiculous how long i waited for carside pickup for one kids meal. ended up waiting for almost an hour. called them about my order and was kept on hold that entire time. the worst service i experienced.
We showed up at opening to get a large table for a birthday party. As the first people at the door @11am we did not believe it would be difficult to accommodate our group. We were told it would be at least a 20 minute wait for a table despite being there at opening and first in line. We did have to wait 20plus minutes. The servers were friendly and the food was ok--the bread sticks were great obviously. What other reason is there to go to Olive Garden? Just disappointed that they seated an entire restaurant full of people including other large parties before seating ours. Their deal of buy one take one is prepackaged food. I don't know what I was expecting
Online ordering was such a hassle. It was so busy that the website wouldn’t even load ! Tried calling and they wouldn’t pick up! After more than 20 tries they finally picked up. Was looking forward to some appetizers but was told that they had “ran out”!? Finally my order was placed at 11:30 and was told to pick up at 1. Arrive there at 1 and still had to wait an extra hour ! When I finally received my food, it was not even cooked right! There was hardly any sauce on the pasta. Really disappointed! I know it’s Mother’s Day and you guys were super busy, but you guys should have been more organized ! Super disappointed!
Servers here served us 3 dirty plates upon arrival with food and crumbs on them when we handed them back and asked for new ones we got attitude and eye rolls from our waiter twice because we found a 3rd dirty plate a few seconds later after checking the rest. The first time I let the attitude go the second time he took the plate with a dirty look and rolled his eyes neither time apologizing or speaking to us.I then calmly asked someone else to speak to a manager because I didn’t want someone who was so rude to wait on our table a second employee came mumbling rude stuff under his breath as he approached our table. My daughter asked what he was saying he said “Well he brought you new plates didn’t he?” Then stormed off all mad that we had asked for the manager and threw his hands up all dramatic and mad as if we should accept the rude behavior and new plates and shut up.I realized the manager was another employee who had been watching the rude waiters storm off from our table and did not come to our table to ask if we needed anything. When she came over we explained the situation she explained she told him to walk away from us because she was concerned not for us but for her employee feeling uncomfortable and “unsafe” which was very dramatic no one was yelling or cursing or being confrontational we shocked we were being shamed for asking for clean plates when I explained how rude the waiter was when we asked for new plates she said she didn’t know what happened,as we were explaining to her what happened, as if to say she didn’t believe what we were saying.Meanwhile the first waiter was telling his story waving his arms and telling all the other employees in the employee area by the kitchen. Then our new waiter came as we were speaking to her and waved his arms aggressively over our table as if to stop an imaginary fight and raised his voice and cut me off while i was very calmly speaking to the manager separately about our complaint and yelled angrily “ok are we going to order or are we going to keep talking about this!?” Since when do employees cut off customers conversations with the manager? The manager did not correct him either or apologize for any of their behavior she let all the employees be rude throw temper tantrums at our table and was quiet and let the third waiter interrupt our conversation with her as if she was not in charge. So apparently you should eat on dirty plates or be treated badly if you ask for new ones also dont expect any manager to be any help she let the young male employees there throw fits and be confrontational with our table and your also not allowed to make a complaint because the employees will cut you off while speaking to the “ manager” This was all very unprofessional they all seemed ready to attack us.Our party of 8 came for a birthday dinner it was very much ruined. We got up from the table and left right after we realized talking calmy to all four employees was not working we realized all 4 employees were saying rude things having attitude teaming up and not being apologetic we all couldn’t believe how we were being treated and how they all got so angry at our table for sending back dirty plates and would not apologize. Our family had to get up and walk out being the bigger people here as they sarcastically told us to have a nice day.We went and had our dinner at Strings the food was great the service was great we had no issues no rude waiters and no dirty plates. We loved Olive Garden before and went their regularly we give good tips were a respectful family and have never had a confrontation with any servers before this was absolutely shocking. Will definitely be calling corporate.
Our server Sydney R. was unfortunately very rude and careless when it came to our dinner needs. From the beginning, we noticed her ill-mannered attitude towards us but we brushed it off as we thought “maybe it was nothing” and continued to be friendly towards her even though it wasn’t being reciprocated. Long story short, she continuously ignored us throughout our dinner even though we continuously tried to communicate with her. I hope no other customer has the same experience our family had. Our check # is 26870 and yes, you’ll see we didn’t leave a tip. With that kind of service, she didn’t deserve any.
We joined the waitlist, got seated, and waited 25 minutes. Two tables seated AFTER us got their orders and no one ever showed up to our table. The appetizer I ordered in the kiosk never came either. When I talked to the manager, nothing was done. After 35 minutes of watching EVERY table in my section be served but mine, we finally walked out. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. Don't go here if you want to be served or treated with an ounce of respect.
I walked in with my wife and son to see a large amount of servers just standing around at the entrance talking. Meanwhile I look over at the bar by the entrance and every part of the counter was dirty with plates. I went to use the restroom and it looked like to had not been touched at all. Clearly this place is overstaffed with many workers with the “it’s not their job to clean that mentality” the bathroom looked like a truck stop bathroom and wasn’t consistent with Olive Garden values. Do better please. To hold you accountability if I see this again it will be posted every time

Visalia's Olive Garden: Where the Service Can Make or Break Your Meal
Ah, Olive Garden. For many of us in Visalia, it’s that familiar spot we turn to for a taste of Italian-American comfort. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just craving some endless pasta, our local Olive Garden usually delivers on the food front. But based on what I’m hearing from fellow diners, the real story here often lies with the service – sometimes it’s truly exceptional, other times, well, let’s just say it leaves a bit to be desired. When it comes to the grub, Olive Gard...
Visalia's Olive Garden: A Tale of Two Meals (and Stellar Servers)
The Visalia Olive Garden holds a special place for many looking for that classic Italian-American comfort food fix. And while the promise of endless breadsticks and hearty pasta dishes is always there, the word on the street is that your experience can vary quite a bit depending on when you decide to pull up a chair. What consistently stands out, though, are the dedicated folks serving up those meals. Shout-outs go to servers like Doug, who guests describe as genuinely kind and enthusiastic, r
