Tahoe Joe's, April 21, 2024 Me & my family & some friends had all came here after a (celebration of my niece's life) so they had put 5 table's together to accommodate all of us & our server she was so "Awesome" as everyone else that had helped out with getting us all seated & then with our food orders! The "bread rolls & butter" they are so delicious & so was all of the other food dishes the everyone had got & plus a couple of appetizers to start with. So "Thank You" Tahoe Joe's for our server & making our day/afternoon a little bit easier with great food & great service & making some great memories. Note: the Fish & Chips they are the bomb! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s & 💯%+ Great Job! 😎👍

I have eaten here for many years! I was surprised that I had not written a review! As many times, as I have eaten here, I have had very few bad experiences! I have, however, had many many many many great experiences at this place! The staff has always been awesome! Jarod has been my favorite waiter for many years! Not only is he a great waiter. He has become a great friend! In the event of bad service, I have always had the managers always trying to make things, right!! Very professional, and friendly and caring whether you come back or not!! The food is always awesome and fresh!! The bread is awesome!! I love the woodsy atmosphere! This place is the best! 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 My favorite waiter in the world works here! Jarod! He is the best!!! 🤙🤙🤙🤙 The pulled pork sandwich is incredible! 🤙🤙🤙🤙

Wow what a great place to eat. The decor is rustic and homey feeling. Our waiter was awesome. We did the dinner for 2 for $75 and had plenty of food for us. The Joe's steak is so tender and good.

It is a great restaurant for date night or a family gathering. The food and services were excellent! Highly recommend the Mai Tais too!

We came for my husband birthday it was a party of 10 at 5:00 pm we left at 7:00 pm ! They got 3 orders wrong and my daughter sent her plate back the third time because they still didn’t get it right. We sang happy birthday to my husband and the waitress shows up asking if everything was fine 😳 I told her no my daughter still hasn’t eaten dinner! The manager showed up at the end to tell us they would comp our daughter dinner. Will not go back again. This was there last chance.

Was absolutely delicious, the restaurant def needs some updates. The tables are falling apart and the sign outside had about 3 lights lit but the service and food is worth a night out

Second time here. First time was great. Crab cakes is a must. Iced tea was good. Burgers were great. But this time around it was off. Steak was chewy. Fish portions were ridiculously small. Though I must say it was tasty. Crunchy and tartar sauce was also good. It happens. Chain restaurants sometimes have bad days.

Dinner can get pricey for two with an appetitizer, two entrees, and a pie. Spent over $120 and wasn't quite satisfied with the meal. Steak was slightly overcooked and underseasoned. We had high hopes for our visit, and while the service was commendable, the food unfortunately fell short. Our server was attentive, courteous, and handled our requests efficiently. I’m currently recovering from a back injury, and he kindly accommodated my discomfort by bringing a chair so I could avoid the booth seating, which was greatly appreciated. As for the food, there were some definite misses. The loaded nachos (or whatever their menu name was) arrived as a large pile with toppings barely covering a quarter of the chips. I’ll take partial blame here—nachos can be hit or miss, and these definitely missed the mark in both presentation and balance of ingredients. My wife and I both ordered the half chicken, which was, frankly, one of the saltiest roasted chickens we've ever had—borderline inedible. The accompanying rice pilaf was plain and lacked flavor. The onion straws appetizer came in a bowl that was mostly crumbs and bits of breading, with only a few actual straws. Our toddler had the kid’s steak, and unfortunately, it was extremely overcooked—tough and dry to the point of being difficult to chew. There were, however, a few bright spots. The green beans were surprisingly well done—seasoned nicely with a pleasant snap. The mashed potatoes and gravy were solid, and our son’s French fries were crisp on the outside and soft inside, exactly how you’d want them. Overall, the service made us feel genuinely welcomed, and our server’s effort didn’t go unnoticed—we left him a $25 tip on a roughly $110 bill. That said, the kitchen missed the mark in several areas. With a few thoughtful improvements in food quality and consistency, this place has the potential to deliver a much more satisfying dining experience. Update: With so many other places to try in the area, we will not be back. Roasted chicken should be an easy dish to make at a high level. $26 for $3 of chicken, and a few dollars of rice and green beans is beyond unreasonable with the lack of quality. `

Sat there for two hours, Waiting for our food while others came in ate and left a little after the two hours ask the server what was going on instead the manager came to our table to tell us that they were out of Everything that we ordered. They waited two hours to let us know, Couldn’t have the decency of letting us know when we placed our order. Four different entrées that they were out of.

Took our daughter out for her 22nd birthday. Absolutely horrific. Where do I even start. They didnt have sugar free margaritas mix, they didn't have artichoke dip, they brought out the wrong predinner salad to my grandmother, the caesar dressing tasted like fish (yes, I know it has anchovies, but the fish taste was so strong it was inedible), we ordered 3 steaks, 2 prime ribs, and a sandwich for our entrees. They brought out the 3 steaks (after a 45 minute wait) and at that point tell us that they ran out of prime rib. I get it, it happens, but how do you not figure this out until you are delivering 1/2 of our order. Now, one would think that the rib eyes we ordered in place of the prime rib would be expedited. Well, you would be wrong. Nobody checked on us for long periods of time. 45 minutes after the steaks come out, we told our waiter to box the rib eyes to go. They brought out the rib eyes and at that point, I asked about my sons sandwich. The waiter threw up his hands at this point. 1.5 hrs after our original order, we still did not receive the sandwich. We told them to take it off the bill. A manager came by after we were told they did not have prime rib to offer free dessert and gift cards for the "next time". Our waiter actually asked if we knew any place that was hiring because the staff was so bad. After asking for our meals to go, another manager came out and gave us more gift card, took $ off the bill and said "this isn't how things are here". Well, after reading other reviews, this is exactly how things are. We left all the gift cards on the table, they can keep them. I wouldn't go back to this place if they paid me. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had in my life, and its not even close. It was so bad, it was hard not to take personal. Restaurant was 1/2 full, this was a Saturday nught around 6 PM. In no way we're we rude or aggressive, it was comical that a restaurant could perform this bad in so many areas.

We had a party of 10 made reservations 2 weeks in advance after about an hour past time they try to see this at different tables a couple of our party went back and they tried to show us where to sit need to say we are getting upset since when does reservations don't mean reservations at the end of the day we decided to leave and a staff member chased us out the door exchanging words with me I stated I don't know what was said in the back while they were trying to seat us but it is very inappropriate to chase customers out the door yelling at us. I also visited the store a couple of years ago was was seated never got water or a menu and we left again

Tried to get dinner here. Place was dead but took about 10 minutes to seat us. When we finally got sat we didn't have anyone come take our drink order or even look at us. We waited another 10 minutes before giving up and leaving. Lots of servers walking around but seemed more interested in socializing than serving.

It was a disaster with a party of 30. Took an hour and a half to get a glass of water. Salad came after entree!? They finally got the waitress some help & the food started coming out after 2 hours! They would not do separate bills but then they said ok for parties of 5 or 6. We all had to break out calculators, get the menu & try to figure out what each of us owed factoring in 10% taxes & the automatic 20% tip! We had to do their job & they charged us a 20% tip for service that wasn't worth any tip at all! When we went to the register the waitress passed by three times. We waved down another employee perhaps the manager and he asked what we wanted. We told him we're trying to pay the bill and he said oh that's your waitresses responsibility. I said she's passed us three times do you think we can pay the bill with you because we've been here for too long. I told him about our experience & we were told we were rude!? We paid our bill and left. We will never go back again.

The place is a nice environment. The food LOOKS GOOD lol but the taste is all wrong. The chicken was dry and there was no seasoning. The ribs tasted rubbery. The artichoke dip was pretty good. Ohh..and the frys tasted like fish...ugh..this was my first time here. Maybe I just ordered the wrong items. Not even my 3 year old liked the frys..
