Awesome service and good food. I mean, it's Denny's! I ordered a 55+ simple one of each, egg, sausage, hash and sourdough toasts. The cashier/waitress was super friendly and understood my complicated requests without breaking a sweat. True customer service at its best!

It's a great authentic diner. Good food but word must have gotten out bc they have raised the prices. $3.79 for a cup of black coffee!? But the food is consistently good. I love breakfast.

Good to see them busy! Eggs were cooked to perfection, no brown spots or edges. Pancakes were fluffy and sausage was a perfect compliment to the syrup (Don’t like it on my hot cakes but do like it with sausage—if you roll the pancake around the sausage it’s even better).

Denny's is a simple spot to stop by for a decent breakfast. We were seated quickly and our server took our order within minutes of being seated. I ordered the Fit Slam with the special pumpkin pancakes and he ordered the pancake Slam with bacon extra crispy. The pumpkin pancakes were pretty good 👍 and the seasonal fruit I received was fantastic. My friend sent back the bacon to be cooked more. Other than that, breakfast was on point.

I visited this location a couple times. I ordered veggies omlette. I asked server can I switch toast with hash brown. (Because I don’t eat bread). She said yes. She charged for hash brown. Anyway, it was good. I was very full. Second time I ordered fit slam, I asked server can I switch English muffin with hash brown, he said yes of course. Nothing extra charge. I don’t know which one is correct. I hope the manager doesn’t read this review. I don’t wanna be trouble for servers about different two ways 😂😂😂

The restaurant was very clean and the vibes and atmosphere were very peaceful and relaxing. I came in after a stressful day and was able to unwind here at Denny’s in Vista. Definitely would recommend this location to anybody who wants a clean restaurant with tasty food and vibes.

Ingrid was our server. She was wonderfully attentive and great service all together. We loved her cheerful service. We were a demanding group of ladies and she took great care of us with a smile and consistency.

The food at Denny's in Vista on W Vista Way has always been more than satisfactory for me. Portion sizes are excellent. So much especially their grand breakfasts that I have a to go box! My server, Florentino, was friendly and on top of everything I asked for.

We often go here on sundays, and though the wait time is about 15-20mins, the staff is very welcoming and all smiles. Especially the manager manning the front! The other day, i had an embarrassing situation where I left my retainers wrapped in a tissue, i called them 10 mins after I left and the manager very kindly helped retrieve it for me! Saved me from having to buy a new one🙏🏻

Good location. Very clean and decor up to date. Staff were extremely friendly, patient to wait for ordering, and the food came out quickly and correct. Lots of food options to choose from and location was convenient to access. Lots of parking available. As always, breakfast is served at any time of day. The server will provide you the check at the end of the meal and you pay up front at the check out counter.

I ordered Doordash today. My omelette and potatoes were so fresh and delicious! So were the pancakes! So thankful for this amazing Denny's and the cooks who always do a great job!

Not sure if it's an every week thing or promotional period, but kids eat free on Tue and Sat. We went on a Sat, and the food pretty good. Ordered the sampler (onion rings, fries, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo boneless wings). Everything on the sampler was very good. Kids enjoyed their bfast dinner. My wife ordered the T-bone steak medium rare with sunny eggs and hash browns. The steak was cooked to medium rare as hoped and my wife said it was delicious. I ordered the Cali club sandwich with seasoned fries. My sandwich was slightly overly toasted, but good as well. It was about 7pm when we went, and it was fairly dead. Service was excellent (maybe because it was dead). We drive by frequently and the busiest day seems to be on Sundays.

Prices are good, all of the employee are good and hardworking but very understaffed. I like most of their foods. Because they are understaffed; you get to talk to your server 3 times; first time for the drink order second time for the food order and the third time is when you get your food. This usually happens late at night times. I wanted to order a desert but I knew I had to get up, walk and tell my order in the middle of the restaurant so I gave up.

Grate day to get outside it nice and worm. Go out and eat here in always good food.

We came for lunch and were seated quickly. our sever was great. Upon sitting down the manager made me and my boyfriend feel very uncomfortable. Kept staring the entire time we ate. He treated his employees horrible. It is unacceptable to be treated this way at any work place. I also work in the customer service department and I know 100 percent that the way he treated his employees was not the way to be treated at all. He stood around while they worked very hard. And he micromanaged them in everything they did. We heard him ask his employee if she had done the dishes and she told him yes. He had told her there now we're 4 more new dishes. He had her stop doing her mopping because there was 4 new dishes. The entire rest of our stay eating there he just stood around starting at us making it very uncomfortable. The food was great don't get me wrong but we will not be eating here again due to the management there.

In the beginning Manager and waitress both was very nice... actually too nice. Probably because expected a big tip because it's Holiday season. I just gave a basic tip and they changed right way the good customer service after got it. I said thank you they did not reply and I said bye, bye they ignored me and they did keep talk to each other, making me feel unwelcome. Was a little bit unpleasant see employees changed from nice to bad so quickly like that. Food was good I will try another Denny's restaurant next time!

I ordered breakfast for supper. The eggs were fine but the bacon was not very good. My overall experience wasn't that good. The waiter was nice but really should have been more attentive. This is an unusually low rating as I am not a very critical reviewer.

I usually visit this Denny's during the week of November each year and I only eat breakfast. I've always had good service and good food, well we know that things change, evidently they have. The service was mediocre the first time the hash browns were cold, this time my hash browns and my eggs were cold I'm done.

The man here took too long to get me and my brothers order and we waited half and hour and he's been helping the new customers then helping us first.

As usual everyone is very friendly. Great service, however the food was not up to standard this time. I ordered the chicken addiction bowl and the broccoli was cold. My husband ordered a skillet and the potatoes tasted old. The manager was really nice and adjusted our bill. The only reason for the 3 star was the food, otherwise I usually rate them 4 or 5 starts.

This dentist location has a little bit run down. However, the service was very good and the food was hot and tasty. I would come back here if I get the chance.

My waitress tried to steal from me. I ordered a classic burger with mayo and no pickles and got a cheeseburger with no mayo. I asked her and she told me it comes with cheese repeatedly to my face. I looked at the special menu and it does not say cheese. Also, I have ordered this burger multiple times before and it did not come with cheese. Whoever this was does not care about working in a restaurant, hates her job, and wishes she had a different one. You tried to steal from me and lied to my face about it not once but over and over saying, “it comes with cheese.” We come to the register and it turns out that through some grand mystery a cheese upcharge had been applied to my order. Please go away, lady.

My family and I come to this Denny’s all the time we love it here, food is always great and service even better but tonight the service was not good. I don’t know the name but our server was an older mexican woman and she was rude and very unprofessional.

My friends and I tried eating in but the woman on the call accused us of prank calling when in reality we we're starved. When we called, no one was answering so we were saying "hello?" over and over since again no one was answering so we called again and the woman on the phone was being so rude!

Wow, it shows a "A" rating on the window. I have been to many Denny's so I was expecting this to be good. Well nope, finally got seated to wait 15min for the first person to talk to us. It was busy but 15min is 14 too many not to say anything. Food took forever to get out for breakfast and Denny's. Manager was standing around moving Little things to seem busy. I had a great seat to watch all the service that should have been going on, which was not. I should have walked out when 5min into this one, but that was my mistake. I will not be back to this Denny's and owners should be ashamed to call this a Denny's.

The waiter Jovana was horrible. She came to take our order and had a negative attitude. Then, throughout the service, she only came over to check up on us once we didn't get any refills or anything. After that, she came over, and she brought the bill and said I'm going on my break so I brought the bill. If you need anything, you can ask any of the other servers. I always come to this particular location and get amazing service from the regular waiters. She is new, and she gave me a really bad first impression.

If I gave a zero in service. They took my name and said 5-10 minutes, I went with my disabled mother. We sat down right in front of where you sign up to be seated. I asked after 15 minutes and it turns out they past us on the list. We where 5 feet away and never heard my name. No apologies, no sorry nothing. Just a mistake and be right with you the guy said. The 2nd host didn't sit us, called other 2 more guest to be seated. We left. My mom has had 3 surgeries on her knees, one hip replacement and back surgery. Not to mention her arthritis. We had to walk out. Still no apologies nothing. I wanted to go back and get the names of the 2 host but mom said let's go to IHop. Never going back to Denny's in Vista again.

I am a caregiver for people with mental and physical disabilities. I was with my participant who takes a little longer than most people to order. Our waiter Florentino was pretty rude. He was very impatient, annoyed, wouldn’t try to understand my participant, and would talk to me instead of my participant as if my participant wasn’t there capable of ordering for himself. He got my participants order wrong. He ordered scrambled eggs with spinach and mushrooms. The spinach and mushrooms came once the scrambled eggs were all done. So instead of having it together he had a side of scrambled eggs and a side of spinach and mushrooms. 🤨🤨🤨 The rest of the time the waiter did not check on us once. At the end he came with the receipt which we asked him to split at the beginning. He went back to split it and came back 10 minutes. Please learn some patience for the disabled. They have the right to quality costumer service like everyone else.

Wowzers..Just experienced racism at this place. I’ve been going to this location ever since I was a little girl and I’ve NEVER experienced such poor customer service until today. Stephanie (if that is spelled correctly - she did not have a name tag) seen my family of 6 walk in to wait in line to be seated. We were standing there for a few minutes so I had my children sit down on the benches by the door but we were still in line. Soon after, a Hispanic family walked in and once it was our turn to finally be seated she did not acknowledge my family even though she seen them walk in after we’ve already been waiting. She blantly ignored me when I said “excuse me but, we were in the line first” . It took the other family telling her “they were first” for her to finally acknowledge me. With a slight attitude she asked how many people we were with me and then she set our menus down on the counter and said another person will take us to our seats. She then directed her focus back on the other family that came in after us and walked off to go seat them first. When she came back to counter, where me and my family were still standing (waiting on the other person who she said was going to seat us) she said “follow me so I can seat you”. Huh? So I stood there slightly confused because she said someone else was going to seat us but we decided to follow her to the table anyway. Before we even reached the table she was already on her way back to the counter and said “someone else will help you” . Ouch. It took me a minute for the disrespect to fully settle in but once it did I just told my family that we can eat somewhere else. Shocking thing is, we just ate here two days ago and the service was incredible! What a shame.

This is the worst Denny's I've been too. The hostess was rude ,it took so long to be served,and the food wasn't good either. I ordered the salmon that was over cooked , sauteed squash that was very bland and brown wild rice was a little hard. I don't recommend coming to this Denny's in Vista.

Very disappointed. Poor customer experience. Ordered a brisk it all melt 16$ and got such a tiny amount of brisket overcooked hash browns. Talked to the waiter he was very dismissive and didn't do anything to fix or make up for the situation. I will not be going back.

Took our drink order while I took my 5 year old to the bathroom. Only took drink order for husband but insured him she'd be right back to get our drink order. She never came back till it was time to order. I got the sirloin stake and eggs and asked for the stake medium rare. Stake came out not once but twice well done. Decided to cancel whole order for my stake and eggs because this upset me so much I completely lost my appetite. Would definitely not visit this place ever again. Reminded me why I stopped coming here 10 years ago.

I NOT ONLY HAD ONE BAD MEAL BUT "TWO". BURGER FELL APART AND WAS EXTREMELY GREASY...I TOLD MGR AND REPLACED IT WITH A CHICKEN SKILLET DISH HOWEVER ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS (TATERS, BROCCOLLI, MUSHROOMS WERE SWIMMING IN A "SUGARY THICK BOURBON SAUCE"...IT MADE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!!! I WENT HOME AND THREW UP "TWICE"... SERVICE WAS GOOD BUT NO AC IN A VERY HUMID HOT DAY IN SD!!! I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK THERE TO EAT EVER AGAIN!!!
