Absolutely fabulous. Staying across the road at Hotel Royal and went for dinner Sunday night. One of the best meals we have had. Wonderful service and great service- speak good english too. Highly recommend the steak and risotto- pizza looked good from others. Wonderful outlook of the lake - fab prices too.

Un locale storico di Viverone, rinnovato da pochissimo tempo. Trovo di aver mangiato bene, un cena normalissima, dove niente in particolare mi ha colpito, ma tutto andava bene. Il bello di questo locale è che siete su una palafitta, e chiedendo il tavolo giusto, vi troverete affacciati al lago con vista mozzafiato. Il conto è salato, i prezzi sono leggermente più alti della media...dovuti probabilmente al luogo di villeggiatura.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on Lake Viverone and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the location directly on the lake makes the experience even more enjoyable. The cuisine is excellent: carefully prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, helping to make the lunch relaxing. Another plus is the reasonable price for the quality offered. Ultimately, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well in a charming setting without breaking the bank.

A picnic on the shores of Lake Viverone, strolling in the company of coots, ducks, and swans. Around 12:30, we enter the restaurant in search of lunch. The interior is casual yet stylish, illuminated by large windows, overlooking the water. It's a shame the impending rain prevents us from enjoying a table on the outdoor terrace. The lakeside fried dishes are light and tasty, the fish soups are substantial and plentiful. A jug of Erbaluce wine balances the flavors on the palate. The bill is in line with the norm. The smile of the young lady serving us adds a touch of "human contact" that isn't always a given. A good hour of tranquility, perhaps on the weekend or when the sun suggests a day trip, when the restaurant is full, the horizon changes. Seeing is believing.

We went to this place last night. Honestly, we were a little worried about the reviews we'd read, but I have to say it's not bad at all. The pizzas were really good and generously topped... The place is nice and quiet, so it's a pleasant place to spend an evening. It's true that the tables have paper tablecloths that, when arranged in a triangle, cover 90% of the table, but the tables were still clean, so there's nothing to complain about. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the staff. They act like robots, lack smiles and courtesy. They weren't rude, but every question was answered in a curt and rushed manner, and every thank you was never answered. Maybe they should do this job with a little more passion and gratitude. Even the lady at the cash register dismissed us with a forced smile and no thanks when we paid. A special mention goes to the idea of ​​bringing lemon hand wipes after dinner. This gesture was greatly appreciated.

Superb lunch with my husband and our dog! Beautiful place, right on Lake Viverone, with a view that alone is worth the visit. Friendly and fast service, everyone was very accommodating, even with our dog. Good and plentiful food, we really enjoyed it. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a bit of a break. We'll be happy to return!

Locale con del potenziale ma gestito male. Appena entrati c'è una sala, un po cupa, con dei tavoli che sembrano essere messi li a caso. C'è poi un'altra sala, piu luminosa e grande, per poi finire con la parte esterna direttamente sul lago, molto bella, vista bellissima. Menú messo su un foglio di carta alla buona, un po povero, pochi piatti e soprattutto poca scelta di pesce. Staff gentile e servizio molto veloce, e sarà per questo che i piatti erano discreti. Vitello tonnato: salsa buona ma la carne un po gommosa. Tartare con i funghi: carne buona ma i funghi erano freddi. Ravioli del plin al sugo di arrosti arrivati non caldissimi, e non mi hanno fatto dire "wow". Prezzi per la qualità del cibo un po alti. Peccato, potrebbero fare molto di più.

Locale ristorante pizzeria sul Lago a Viverone, si arriva facilmente in auto, parcheggi a pagamento nelle immediate vicinanze, grande locale con diversi tavoli all'interno e una decina piccoli all'esterno sul pontile dietro il locale, piatti interessanti non all'altezza dei prezzi un pó alti, i secondi e le pizze non li ho provati mentre i dolci sono pessimi. Il personale è poco preparato e lento, i servizi puliti ma hanno bisogno di un restauro.

Review from 2023: We had the pizza and the risotto and it was excellent. Prices were reasonable for what they give you. Big portions Update, Sept. 2024: the place appears to be under new management. I ordered a fish risotto like last year, and got a place of boiled rice with some salty red sauce that tasted like seafood. Photos below for comparison (before and after). Big drop in quality. But the price of plates went up.

Il ristorante si affaccia proprio sul Lago, e da fuori il posto è meraviglioso, unica pecca e più importante è tutto il resto. Appena seduti, ordiniamo e 5 minuti neanche dopo arriva il cameriere con l"acqua, il vino, e subito dietro di lui un altro cameriere con 2 primi, e poi altri 2. Sarà riscaldata, già preparata? Passa 1 ora poi per ricevere due fritti e 20 minuti per due porzioni di patatine. Infine chiediamo un amaro e quando ci riporta il cameriere il fatto che la nostra richiesta non era disponibile la risposta è stata "Non mi ricordo cosa ho, andate a vederli al bancone" Ultima chicca, il conto: ci presentiamo in cassa per pagare il pranzo e noto qualcosa di strano sullo scontrino, fra cui 6 caffè di cui ordinati solo 4, una coppa di gelato da 5 euro mai presa, e 4 amari di cui presi solo 3. Praticamente una decina di euro in più del conto reale, così, per beneficenza! Passiamo ai piatti.. Che dire, una "Carbonara di mare" dove sapeva di zafferano e basta, diceva che c'era tonno e spada, ma a me sembrava pollo, per non parlare del risotto carnaroli che sembrava cibo della mensa ospedaliera, per non parlare della linguina ai frutti di mare dove i gamberi erano stracotti, immangiabile. In questo locale è da cambiare tutto, ottima location ma sfruttata malissimo! Non ho voluto esagerare con le stelle, e non ho incluso che il bagno con le perline in modo che io da fuori veda la gente che si lava le mani o che esce dal bagno con i pantaloni slacciati è indecente, per non parlare del servizio, o del bambino che mangiava le fragole dal cestello ficcandoci la mano dentro, fragole servite poi ai clienti.. Due stelle per gentilezza..

Waitress very rude and not serviceable at all. Instead of telling his half our meals would take longer she just ignored us. We got two plates out of four, they finished and we still had to wait another 15 min for the other two plates. The least is to let us know and be sympathetic. No instead she progressed to set tables behind us very aggressively, banging chairs and tables. I rarely add a comment but this place deserves this negative review

Partiamo dal principio. Chiamiamo alle 12.30 per prenotare un posto alle 13.30 per 2 adulti e un bimbo nella parte esterna e mi confermano la prenotazione. Ci rechiamo sul posto e diciamo il nome e che avevamo preso il posto fuori e ci viene risposto " aaaaa fuori posto non c'è , le chiamate le prende l'hotel al di fuori del ristorante quindi non sa se ci sia posto" ( che già dico, le prenotazioni del ristorante le prendono da un altro luogo .. bha) .Vedendo che storciamo il naso chiede di vedere se c'è un tavolo fuori libero... Risultato: 4 tavoli liberi. Aveva già messo le mani avanti senza nemmeno sapere se fossero davvero occupati... Vabbhe. Ci sediamo e Il cameriere ( molto cordiale e gentile) ci dà il menù digitale. Non avendo le bevande scritte ci dà un cartaceo e ma aprendo vedo la sorpresa.. prezzi differenti di almeno due/tre euro in meno per prodotto... Ordiniamo una frittura di pesce, una pasta al sugo e una pasta ai frutti di mare (allego foto). Nemmeno 5 minuti arriva tutto, frittura non fritta a dovere e alici ( lasciate tutte) che non erano per niente di quella frittura ma di un fritto diverso e dal sapore vecchio. La pasta molto scotta ma con un buon sugo. Ci alziamo , andiamo a pagare e i prezzi erano quelli più alti.. faccio presente che ho visto il menù con prezzi più bassi ( elencando prodotti e prezzo) e la donna ha subito chiamato un signore e il cameriere ( che te lo dico,se leggi la recensione, non è mai bello sgridare il cameriere davanti ai clienti anche se lo fai a bassa voce) mentre l'altro signore va a vedere i menù. Ora non per essere pignolo, ma se avessi avuto una svista mi avrebbero semplicemente detto che avevo sbagliato... Invece controllando i menù cercando il menù vecchio mostratomi dimostra che avevo ragione... Risultato.. 2 euro di coperto e due euro tolti solo per il fritto misto... Quando era almeno 15 euro in meno il tutto. Ritornerò a Viverone, mai più sicuramente alla palafitta. Peccato perché avrebbe un ottimo potenziale.

Outside the restaurant, there's a vast menu, several pages long and offering countless dishes. We decide to go in and find only a single sheet of paper on the table with very few dishes to choose from. We ask if we can also order the dishes we saw on the menu outside, and they say no... We order four mixed fried calamari and shrimp platters, but the fish, besides not being fried properly, was truly inedible and not at all fresh (we left it all over). The waiter, noticing this, says he reported it to the kitchen, but no one ever said anything to us, and even when it came time to pay the bill, he just didn't say anything. The only plus is that it's a restaurant right on the lake, but the trade-off is definitely not worth it. A terrible experience, absolutely not recommended.

Terrible. We are local and took friends here. We will never be back. And I’m embarrassed I actually took friends to this place. A couple of reasons: 1) The staff were not friendly…see other reviews that compares it to a funeral vibe - unfortunately I would complete agree! 2) The food was completely average and extremely salty. 3) Normally I don’t write google reviews…but when my 2 year old son was in difficulty, it was a challenge to get a spare napkin to help tidy his mouth! I really didn’t understand that. And I thought people should know that this just isn’t a nice place. FAMILIES: don’t go here…couples: at your pearl 🤣🤣 There are plenty other nice restaurants to try at this Lake (which I visit often). I would encourage any traveler to consider spending their hard earned money in a place that deserves it. We love the bars, and even the hard core BIKE BAR is friendly to families for aperitivo! True Italian style! …but not his place. Happy travels 🙌.
