I discovered this restaurant by chance, well hidden away, and it offers culinary delights you wouldn't have expected. One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Hats off to this award-winning cuisine at a reasonable price. I'll be back anytime I'm in the area, thank you for this taste experience.

Traveling to Solferino for training purposes with the Italian Red Cross. We found this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was truly delicious. The bread and breadsticks were incredibly fragrant and delicious. A complimentary digestif was served at the end. Recommended.

An absolutely excellent experience eating at this restaurant. A five star all around. Food is local and authentic, service is welcoming and friendly. We were the only non locals eating on a Friday evening and felt very much at home. The wine list represents local producers and is very fairly priced. In fact the food was exceptional value for money. Just one note of caution though. If you are a stranger it is not easy to find on your first visit. I would suggest, if you tavel by car, put the location in Google Maps and park three hundred metres before the location in the town parking area. Then keep following the directions on your phone. You will not be disappointed.

A typical Mantuan trattoria serving well-prepared traditional cuisine. The atmosphere is simple yet welcoming, and the staff are friendly. Also recommended for those visiting the Gonzaga Castle, as it's just steps away.

Excellent choice, excellent discovery. Luckily, the place isn't overly large, which allows for attention to detail. I recommend booking in advance. Enviable prices, which are almost impossible to find these days, and exquisite food. Highly recommended!

I came to this restaurant with high hopes (the dishes suggested by Google reviews were very inviting). Unfortunately, since it was midday, only the business lunch menu was available. It offered a good selection of dishes, three per course, each designed to accommodate the tastes of meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. The dishes were hearty and light, excellent for the worker who doesn't want to feel sleepy upon returning to work. The flavor was pleasant, nothing exceptional. The wine list was poor, the house wine not to my liking. The grappa selection was inadequate. The coffee was a no-no. The desserts were decent. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, the bathrooms were decent. The staff was young and friendly. The price was reasonable, but I'm not very familiar with business lunch menus.

An excellent business lunch during a visit to Volta Mantovana. The restaurant is informal, simple, yet welcoming and clean. Service is prompt, and the staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The dishes are excellent and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The prices are average, certainly in line with the menu. The menu is varied and features typical local dishes and traditional dishes. The wine cellar is good. I highly recommend making a reservation, as there is limited seating. There is ample free parking just steps from the restaurant. Highly recommended.

A fine Mantua restaurant. Exclusively traditional dishes, with no pretensions of reinterpretation, but using quality ingredients, well-cooked, and elegantly presented, with a touch of minimalist elegance. The staff is young, attentive, and attentive. For lunch, a tasting menu offers good value. In the slow but inexorable decline of our restaurant scene in general, this is a place to note and keep in mind.

A pleasant trattoria. Since we were on the Mantua-Peschiera cycle path and saw the signs for Volta Mantovana, we decided to take this detour for lunch. It was a lovely discovery. This trattoria, located in the historic center, offers delicious local dishes. For lunch on weekdays, they offer a set menu with a good variety of first and second courses at a reasonable price. The staff were helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back for dinner to enjoy the interesting dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

Incuriosita dalle recensioni, sono stata a cena in questo posto, ma non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Alcuni piatti molto buoni, come l'antipasto di coniglio e polenta o la torta Elvezia, ma ciò che mi ha proprio delusa sono stati i tagliolini con sardelle e nero di seppia.. Immangiabili, davvero troppo troppo salati. Onestamente vi consiglierei di toglierli dal menù
