The food was delicious! Ana made sure that we had everything we needed. Our table of 4 kept her busy and we were not her only table. Ana provided excellent customer service to everyone - always with a smile. Thank you Ana! We discovered on our way out that 2 ladies named Ana worked that night. Both were friendly and helpful. Our table was tended to by the Ana wearing glasses. We appreciate Golden Corral and their outstanding staff and service!
We had such a wonderful experience at the Golden Corral in Waco, TX! Our server was Ann Marie (I believe that was her name), and she was incredibly attentive and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived around 10:20–10:30 a.m., right during the transition from breakfast to lunch, and everything went very smoothly. The restaurant itself was very clean, the staff was friendly, and both the breakfast and lunch options were really good. My only small complaint was that the restroom wasn’t quite as clean as the rest of the restaurant. This was my family's first time visiting this location, and we will definitely be back.
We have had outstanding experiences at this establishment with staff members at this location! We appreciate their hospitality and kindness everytime we visit ❤️ Our server Adrianna definitely knows how to treat her customers and we appreciate her for the job that she does. I also would like to recognize the restaurant's manager, Clayton. This man goes above and beyond on customers service 👏 and I believe that heads of this organization should be made aware of merits that are being performed at this location! My wife and I have been to nearly every restaurant in Waco, but our favorite is Golden Corral. It has so many delicious choices. I love all the veggies, the pot roast, fried chicken, salad bar, desserts. The wait staff is always friendly and ready with another glass of ice tea. It's such a comfortable place to sit, relax, talk and enjoy ourselves. My friends think it's funny that I'm always talking about Golden Corral, but I just love it. It's a great experience every time!
Everyone is always wonderful and the food is great. I just ordered Thanksgiving dinner from GC and despite being swamped, the employees and manager were so hardworking, friendly, and kind. Many thanks for a very pleasant experience and great food despite being absolutely swamped with both those dining in and those of us picking up Thanksgiving orders. We all knew that you were giving your all.
Great food every time. Buffets are hard to find these days and this one does not disappoint. Go get a combo meal at the local Burger place or get a whole meal with salad with unlmited refills for a few dollars more.

We had a wonderful experience at Golden Corral on N Valley Mills in Waco. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was impressively clean. A great spot for family dining — we’ll definitely be back!
Very nice and well maintained location. No issues at all with the food or service, but, just i was intrigued that a dog-no service vest-was allowed into the restaurant which violates the code of the Department Health and Safety code for animals inside a food dinning establishment. All I did was move my seat to another table away from there. Please, not everyone likes dogs....especially those who have been traumatized by a event with dogs. Respect others the way they respect you.
I ordered for my mother for Thanksgiving. The manager was very helpful. He made sure my mother got everything she wanted.
I’ve been coming to Golden Corral for over three years, and honestly, I’ve never been treated this well before. Edgar always greets everyone with a smile that brightens the whole place — his positive energy can turn anyone’s day around. You can tell he truly cares about his job; the tables are always spotless, and he never wastes time chatting or standing around. What really stood out to me was how attentive he was — he never let my drink run empty and made sure everyone around was taken care of. That kind of dedication and attitude is rare these days. I’ll definitely keep coming back just because of the amazing service from Edgar. Thank you for making my visit such a great experience! And thank you for your service in the Army you still have the army values !!!
This golden corral is a great location. I went with my mom just me and her. The food was great fresh very tasty and our server Anahi was awesome. I will be back :)
Breakfast buffet with coffee refills for $15/person? My other choice was hotel breakfast charging the same for a single plate. I put my mug on the table and grabbed a plate. The mug had hit coffee when I returned. I ate here 2 days in a row and both servers were very good. Unlimited bacon. Fruits, salads, French toast, waffles, biscuits pancakes with blueberries and muffins, a couple of hash browns dishes, a couple of egg dishes. Dessert. Lots of variety.
Our waitress Paloma was excellent. Very attentive, cleared our table several times and got us drinks. She was always moving and cleaning and asked many times if we needed anything. The floors and cutlery were clean. The place was busy when we went there for dinner and the steak was excellent.
Still our family favorite. Anything from,home style fans. Meat loaf roast and taters,sirloins,fried chicken,livers,shrimps,baked taters,Chinese, pizza,awesome salad bar,desserts galore! Now all you can eat breakfast,and Togo options too. By weight.
My best friend and I took my son and her grandkids here for Thanksgiving. Yes it was very busy when we got there. It was well worth it. The food was delicious and everyone got full. With No Clean Up! Our server was very nice and attentive.

The food was decent. The only thing I had concerns with when I got a piece of pecan pie. I wanted whipped cream on top. They don’t have whipped cream at the dessert bar anymore.

Every time I go to Waco, I take my family members to Golden Corral. They say it's the best meal for them as they're needing assisted living or nursing home.
It was our first time at Golden Corral and we had a great experience! We were immediately greeted when we entered. There was no wait. The cost was excellent for the amount of food options and quality of the food offered. There was everything from steak and fish with all the sides you can imagine to icees and pies. Some of the food was just ok but most of it was great!! I loved the shrimp and catfish! Customer service was excellent!

I Gave ZERO stars on service due to "Norma" we had stack of plates hardly came to the table had to get up juat to ask another waiter to refill our drink seems to be more concerned hiding from the floor manager to talk on her phone in front of her tables and not even service them... Passing through and stopped here hoping there would be something for everyone. Half the food is inedible, the stuff that seems edible tastes like rubber or is over cooked. The service is underwhelming as well, minimum service to remove plates. Either the people who eat here lack taste buds or we caught a bad day from the kitchen. Definitely don't recommend.
I don’t think I will be coming back to this location. I work in customer service so I’m not trying to be a Karen at all but I thought it was 2025 and we were over racism! So I went to go get a steak like any normal person the guy said one moment I was like okay I watched him serve the people who were in line before me who had asked for ribs and then a black lady asks for steak and he gives it to her right away yet I had already been waiting in line where the steak is and asked for the steak a few minutes before this lady… like idk if the guy was being racist or just forgot about me standing there but just thought ya’ll would like to know what one of your employees is doing to customers as someone who works in customer service this is not right… please do better!
