We were passing through Waco last weekend and stopped for lunch. The store was very busy and chaotic. I had forgotten to request something and our server, Emma was very helpful. She was kind and kept a smile during all the hustle. If you are near this location, the service is great!

The manager was working her heart out in the kitchen but she also took time to check on us in the dining area. Thank you. We will be back!

We went to this restaurant for the potatoes but at that time they didn't have any, I was disappointed, and the staff member taking my order, got it wrong, we asked for the receipt because she read the order back to us when we placed it and it sounded right but at the time of the payment my receipt had another order on it. We brought it up to another team member who right away told the manager and the manager gave me a whole sandwich plus the money that I was over charged. Eventhough I was disappointed about what happened I still give them a 5 star for service and because the food was excellent. All team members are very attentive and ready to help when you need something. My family and I will definitely keep going back.to McAllister's. I also love their sweet tea.

This is my second visit ever to this extraordinary franchise. This time to here in Waco. My first McAlister's Deli experience was in Webster, Texas. I really liked the taste of their country potato soup. It is savory. Or their Reuben sandwiches, which I would imagine the Reuben should taste like, with the taste to be as similar as in an original delicatessen in New York City. Right down to the sauerkraut and marble bread. We chose their Pick any two offering for under $10. My choice was the cup of potato soup with half a Reuben sandwich. My dream locatian next restaurant, as for McAllister's, should be in the Baytown, Texas area.

I found this place very recently and fell in LOVE, it’s such a good place to go have a simple lunch or dinner and the staff is incredible. My server, Lexi, was incredibly helpful and polite and was always quick to respond to any needs me and my friends had. Definitely a 10/10!

We really enjoy eating at McAlister's and the location was as good as any of the others. Although the chili was not as thick as it should have been. They must be trying to stretch it a bit.

Food and customer service is great. Love the quantity and quality of food. The potato salad and salads are always fresh. Locate on Waco Drive, easy to see from the road and easy to access. Plenty of parking space and handicapped accessible/parking. We love McAlister but sometimes prefer the other location on Hewitt because it's cleaner. This place could use a revamp, and a keep up cleaning the restrooms.

This is what my chicken salad croissant looked like. Not enough for the entire croissant with a nice finger print in the middle. And I'm supposed to tip for this?

A horrible experience. The staff didn’t seem to know what to do. I had a choose two with Savannah salad and a Reuben. The salad came without any salad dressing. When I asked for the dressing that came with that salad, the employee brought the wrong dressing. When I told her that that was the wrong dressing, she said it was correct. My wife had to explain what Sherry Chalet looked like. The whole time the employee looked like she didn’t understand a word my wife was saying. She went & got another dressing, still not Sherry Chalet. Undoubtedly dressings are not labeled in the kitchen, or the employee couldn’t read the labels. As for the Rueben, it was not prepared correctly. Instead of Thousand Island, some other dressing was used. Needless to say, I will think twice before I eat at this McAlister’s Deli again.

I ordered on the website and they forgot my dressing, pickle and chips! I literally can not eat my salad without a dressing :( to add this they also gave more toppings then lettuce… this was a terrible experience…

Preparing cold food for the most part shouldn’t be this slow. I canceled orders after waiting 20-30minutes for couple of sandwiches. My lunch break is over by then

McAlister’s Deli is typically one of my favorite restaurant chains, and I’ve been eating at various locations consistently for years now. This location, however, leaves severe distaste in my mouth. I’m not sure what is looked at before being served here, but I cannot imagine the presentation I received is up to par.

My husband and I went to the McAlister's on Waco dr in Waco Texas we were up next to the register we decided what we wanted my husband to go to the restroom so I stand waiting three girls standing over to the side of the register no one asked can I help so I waited then a young man came up behind me in line and a young came up to that register and asked if she could help he ordered then a lady came in behind and she was asked can I help you I stood by the first register no one asked if I was ready so I was getting upset so finally I walked to the door about that my husband was coming from the restroom I waved at him and let's go and then a young walks up to the register looks finally in my direction and asks can anyone one I spoke up and said not now you can't not now we walked out we are both in our 70s old should get some respect from theses young girls but not that day at that McAlister's we will never go back

I placed an online order for pick up and after I received the food I drove all the way back to the Emergency Room just to find out it was COMPLETELY WRONG! The sandwiches have little to NO MEAT! So I called up there to let them know at exactly 9:02 PM.. Now the young lady who answered the phone after I told her what was going on she DIDN'T EVEN LET ME FINISH AND HUNG UP! I PAID FOR EXTRA MEAT X2 AND A DIFFERENT TYPE OF CHEESE THAT WAS NOT EVEN ON THERE! So not only did they get the ORDER WRONG BUT I WAS ALSO MET WITH A RUDE EMPLOYEE WHO HUNG UP IN MY FACE! I would like to be fully reimbursed!! I got this food for my mother who is currently in the hospital and now she can’t even eat it! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!
