Really delicious food! We came late on a Saturday and were seated right away. We had the empanadas (2 beef and 2 corn and cheese) and the macaroni and cheese and I would eat this meal over and over again. So much flavor!

Fantastic Peruvian restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Convenient to the Renaissance hotel. The food was excellent and the drinks were cold. I'd definitely come back, and do recommend. I had the Pescado a lo Macho, my colleague had the Arroz con Marisco; both were fantastic.

We had a lovely meal, (the lomo saltado), good sangria, excellent service and topped it off with a chocolate lava cake and Lucuma ice cream. A lovely evening in a relaxed environment. My only challenge was it was a bit chilly where we sat but that didn't diminish the overall experience.

This Peruvian spot delivers a truly authentic experience. The traditional dishes like ceviche, lomo saltado are full of flavor and clearly made with care. Everything tastes homemade. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu if you're new to Peruvian cuisine. Great food, warm service, and a genuine cultural vibe, definitely worth a visit.

Had dinner with my wife last night; we sat on the outdoor patio with live Cumbia music playing. Everything was very enjoyable, from the food to our friendly waiter Andres. We enjoyed conversing with him not only about our order but just Latin American culture in general and we had some good laughs. The food was very tasty and the cocktails were even better. Will definitely be back soon!

Bold flavors without punching your palate. Great mix of entrees plated for visual impact. Small yet calm room with a great patio. Chairs remind me of a 1960's public school classroom... functional yet not comfortable. Must try place.

I happened to be at Walnut Creek after a long and tiring journey. For dinner I was looking for a restaurant close to the hotel. It was quite a cold day considering it's June. I found Parada and took a seat without much thought and ordered the first item from the menu, Hangover Soup. Sometimes it just happens that you find the perfect food. It was warm, tangy, fresh chicken soup that warmed my heart. Please try.

Chill place for a late lunch with my sweetie on her birthday! Even though it was between typical lunch and dinner hours, we had a very tasty meal and my wife even got a free dessert for her special day! I tried I've of their Specialty drinks The Police Officer... very unique, refreshing cocktail! Highly recommend this place if you like Peruvian food, and even my choosy Peruvian wife approves! 😎😋🍽🥘🥃🍸🍻

The food was amazing. I have visited other Peruvian restaurants and Parada is by far on the top of the list. My wife found the place in Google and we took our in-laws for a nice treat on Saturday. Our favorite main dish is Saltadito steak, the plantains is a must and the empanadas (meat, corn, cheese or mushrooms) are a must. You can’t go wrong with either flavor. The service was excellent. Martina was our server and I learn more about the Saltadito in a couple of minutes that all the other experiences in other restaurants combine. Family friendly environment and a convenient location with plenty of parking.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. My group thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The empanada platter is a must but everything on the menu we tried was amazing. The cocktails were also delicious, 'mixed feelings' was the name of our favorite drink.

I came to display because I was craving Hispanic food that were similar to my Dominican heritage. When I got there I was nicely greeted by the staff, the food came our quick and let me tell you it was super delicious. I would have ate all the food but I got full so quick. I also got desert but I got it to go. The desert was also amazing. I had a really nice time there.

I went to Parada last night for the first time. The restaurant was very noisy and we were a group of seven so we sat on the patio. Even though we were right next to Treat Blvd and there of plenty of obnoxious cars going by, it was quite lovely for dinner. Our waiter was amazing and the food is very good. At first, we were worried the menu had no vegetarian options and since five people in our group are vegetarians, there was a moment when we weren’t sure to stay. But, many of the menu items can be served without meat and we all had great dinners. I had a mushroom side plate that was amazing and the empanadas looked good too. I ordered a Pisco Sour to start, which was an excellent choice. Give this place a try. I think you will be happy.

Excellent Food! Try the Pollo Salgado! Amazing how the chef pairs one of America’s favorite foods (fries) with a Peruvian dish is awesome! The chicken was tender, the vegetables just right and I would have never thought that fries and an over easy egg would come together as they did in this dish! The homemade salsa is amazing with their unique chips! You must try!

My husband and I went here for Valentine's day. They seemed a little understaffed, there was a bit of a wait between each interaction. And the passing of the entree from appetizers seemed like they forgot about us. The staff was a apologetic when our girls arrived so that was appreciated. The empanadas were delicious, the mushroom and chorizo were my favorite. The steak was nicely cooked and the compound butter on it was a lovely addition. Our table was towards the very middle of the restaurant, the noise level was very high. It made it a little difficult to have a conversation but when my husband went to the restroom, he said the other side of the restaurant was much better for noise levels. On the fence about coming back but will likely give them another try.

Food was good, they have a Peruvian and non Peruvian fusion I guess. My lomo saltado was pretty good, however we ordered pollo a la brasa and we could tell it was reheated and not fresh. Pisco sour was very good, chilcano could be better but was good too. I think the drinks were the best overall. The ají Amarillo sauce was very watery and you could taste more the cheese than the yellow chili flavor, however the rocoto aioli was very good. The server was nice but he was not from Peru and didn’t have enough knowledge about Peruvian food/ingredients. People that are selling food should know about ingredientes and preparations. Overall we liked it, but some things need to be improved for sure.

I’ve been here twice, friendly service. The food was great. This time we ordered the Pisco sour, mixto cebiche, and arroz mixto seafood and wild mushroom empanadas which were amazing! I would say it is a little pricey.

I almost overlooked this restaurant. What a tragedy that would have been. When you first enter Parada, the open kitchen is straight ahead in view of the main dining. To the left there is the bar. There is also substantial enclosed al fresco seating for a warmer drier days than today. The first thing I did was order a beverage. I don't drink alcohol so I was pleased to find the bird of paradise, made withguava mango passion fruit pineapple. I had them add a splash of topo Chico. The result was absolutely heavenly. For my entree I had the mushroom skewers. I can safely say this is in the top five best dishes I've ever had in my life. The mushrooms were grilled to perfection and the herb sauce was a combination that was absolutely out of this world, with just enough spice and a flavor profile to make your head spin. I did order one more dish to go, but I haven't tried it yet. To be determined.

I had dinner solo tonight—originally, it was supposed to be with a friend, but I got stood up. Wandering aimlessly, I stumbled upon Parada Peruvian Kitchen & Bar. It was a random find, and I have to say, a charming one at that! I haven’t had Peruvian cuisine in years, and the Lomo Saltado brought back some good memories. The dish was well-seasoned, and the flavors were on point. The strawberry lemonade was a refreshing companion to my meal, hitting the right notes of sweetness and tartness. While the food was solid, I found myself eating a bit too fast, partly because dining alone in unfamiliar surroundings can feel a little awkward. Nevertheless, the ambiance was inviting, and the friendly staff added warmth to the experience, even if I was silently eating away my irritation. If you’re ever in the mood for good Peruvian food, this is a solid spot worth checking out, whether you’re dining with friends—or unexpectedly solo!

A solid take on Peruvian food. The Good: - Good cocktail selection with some interesting and unique options like the margarita flights, which we enjoyed. (Some of the margs were sweet, so avoid the flight if you're not into sweet drinks.) - Our server was attentive from start to finish, even as things got busy. - The food overall was solid. There were a couple dishes we would have done without in hindsight, but nothing we had was bad or great in my opinion. (Lomo Saltado was good and the seafood dish that reminded me of a cioppino was decent as well. The lamb and lentils dish and some of the empanadas were a miss for us.) - Covered outdoor seating to go along with indoor seating. The Not So Good: - The restaurant setup is modern and has potential, but it felt a bit cramped indoors and the music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation at our table of 3 without raising our voice substantially. - There were only two single stall bathrooms (1 men and 1 women). Not the end of the world, but make sure you have decent bladder control if your going during a busy period, because you may be waiting in line. Overall, I'd encourage others to give it a try. Dining out is a subjective experience and nothing about my experience would prevent me from recommending this place. In all honesty, it would not be my first choice recommendation for a Peruvian meal out, but it is a solid option. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Overall: 4/5

The bone marrow has bread included according to their menu, which is the reason why we ordered but it was served without bread and when we asked for it, they said it’s not included so we decided to start eating, but then come back with crackers and told us the bread is unavailable but they have crackers. Lomo saltado isn’t bad.

Great atmosphere and service. As far as the food goes, we thought it was pretty underwhelming, especially considering their prices. I was expecting bold flavors but everything was bland. My NY steak was rare instead of medium and wasn’t even hot enough to melt the compound butter it came with.

Have wanted to try this restaurant. Made a reservation for the patio and when we arrived the only table available outside was truly 2 feet away from very loud live music so we had to sit inside. The drinks were delicious, but the bar was very slow. Our drinks came not only after our appetizer arrived but after we’d already finished it. Our meals came at different times. The pork shoulder Adobo was incredible. I told our waiter that I wanted to order a second drink and he never came back to ask for my order. Our waters were never refilled. This restaurant has a timing and service problem. While the food was good we won’t be returning.
