Five for the awesome atmosphere. We just had dessert after a basketball game at the arena. They brought us our dessert in the hotel lobby, but we also could have chosen the cool fire pit area in the back.

Stopped in on an early weekday morning and was blown away. As expected, we had no wait and our choice of seats. The ambiance offers a chic and almost elegant feel and the layout is genius (great for crowds). Also, it’s conveniently connected to a hotel and great for those visiting out of town. The service was impeccable and the food superior. Will certainly be back!

Had a wonderful dinner here after visiting the Downtown Christmas Markets! The crispy salmon and truffle fries were to die for! My friend chose the gnocchi and was equally as impressed. Such a delightful dinner, would love to come back again.

All about the food, service and entertainment! Our server Ruben was a star: friendly, attentive, and kept those bottomless mimosas flowing. Many in our group ordered the “Waffle It Up,” “The Monaco,” and Breakfast Potatoes, and they were big crowd-pleasers. The food was delicious — satisfying, beautifully plated, and exactly what brunch should feel like. A few guests were underwhelmed by the shrimp & grits (tastes vary!) and we did hear disappointment about them being sold out of Steak & Eggs, but with the menu’s breadth, my party found other dishes they loved. The private seating arrangement elevated the experience even more. Our tab landed around $50 per person (a bit more when cocktails are factored in) — it may seem pricey, but absolutely worth it for what we got. Dirty Habit’s menu leans globally inspired, with creative seasonal small plates, bold cocktails, and elevated classics. Think truffle fries, karaage-style fried chicken, watermelon tartare, inventive shareable bites — all balanced with signature cocktails from their progressive bar program. On the events side, Dirty Habit offers: • Sing-Along Brunch every Sunday (12 pm–4 pm) with DJs spinning R&B and pop and guests singing along. Reservations are strongly recommended. • Tasting Tuesdays: a special multi-course menu (with optional sommelier wine pairings) for a set price per person. • Seasonal happenings like Halloween parties, Dog Social / Yappy Hour events, and more. • A lovely urban courtyard / fire pit lounge that can be reserved for private events. I left wishing we could have stayed for the day party that afternoon (they do host lively events!) — but that just gives me an excuse to return for dinner and a full evening. Thanks to the staff and GM for making it a memorable experience!

This is such an amazing spot with great food! I had the pleasure of visiting during restaurant week and had such a great time and I love the atmosphere! There was a DJ playing all of the good R&B songs which definitely made the vibe better. The staff was wonderful but service took a bit long, which was understandable due to it being restaurant week. Overall, the food was amazing! I had the pleasure of trying the salad and chicken and waffles for brunch. I believe it was a great portion size and the flavors were on point! I'd definitely love to come back with my girls because this is definitely a great hangout spot! I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food because I was too hungry and started to eat LOL

I stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. After I was greeted, I sat at the bar. Afternoon reviewing the menu, I ordered a Moscato and the cream of crab soup. The bartender was kind and very attentive. The wine was very good, refreshing and smooth. The real star of the show was the soup. There was crab meat in every bite, plus the additional crab meat added to the center. This was well worth it for $17. Overall, I had a great afternoon at this restaurant for lunch, and I can't wait to return again.

This is a beautiful restaurant. The design and attention to detail are a very nice touch. The food was tasty. I had the crisp octopus, and my friend had the sea bass. The service was good. However, we kept receiving items we hadn't ordered. Overall, a good experience 8 out of 10.

Belinda was beyond exceptional and accommodating. My girlfriends and I showed up without a reservation and we were very well taking care of. Service was great, drinks were delicious and strong and the appetizers, were very small portions, but delicious. I really enjoyed the grilled shrimp and my sidecar cocktail. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend surprised me for a birthday brunch and it was an amazing experience. We are millennials and the music was a vibe. The food was amazing. I had the old habits Benedict with crab with turkey bacon and pork sausage on the side . He had the Monaco with French toast. The French toast was similar to bread pudding consistency. Everything was amazing! Great way to experience a birthday!! We are locals and will definitely be back.

I met my cousin for the Pre-theater menu which is $56 per person for a 3 course meal and it’s a phenomenal deal. The restaurant is located inside the Kipton Monaco Hotel and it’s a beautiful. Parking is street side via parking meter and they also offer valet and parking garages are near by. Julian was our waiter and he was really nice and attentive he told us some of his favorite recommendations and drink options that would pair with the dinner. Each course is really beautifully plated and plays on your senses, especially the parfait dessert. I am not a tomato person, but I really enjoyed the tomato salad, it was like and refreshing. Beets are my favorite, so of course I chose the beet salad which was delicious! The seabass melts in your mouth and since I’m a mushroom person the chicken dish was right up my alley because it parties with a mushroom sauce. Choice of 1 each — First Course: Smoked Tomato Salad Beet Salad Second Course: Sea-bass Pan Roasted Salmon Chicken Roulade Dessert choice of: Kem Parfait Seasonal Sorbet housemade I would definitely return for this menu!

Dirty Habit is a whole vibe. They have the DJ playing some great music and you have to go bottomless on the drinks. I'd recommend ordering the chicken & waffles, French toast, poke bowl, Dirty Habit burger, and the Birria Shakshouka. The chicken and waffles were the best I've had in the area. Each of the dishes were cooked perfectly. French toast was airy, shakshouka marinated well and the fried chicken was super crispy. My friends and I were here for almost 3 hours. The staff was so accommodating. Our drinks were constantly being refilled. We had a private room by the bar and with the sliding doors it adds some nice privacy. Don't forgot to take a pics at the lobby of the hotel. Highly recommend DH if you want a fun experience celebrating any occasion. I will definitely be back to try their happy hour and dinner specials.

The green lights led the way to this decadent glass house. I was led to my table, seated below a light display I could stare at for hours. I had the beet salad and truffle fries to start. The beet salad had a complex flavor to it, the bitter greens complimenting the refreshing blackberries and beets. The truffle fries had me excited for the next bite. Seasoned to perfection. For my main course, I had lamb and chickpeas. I found the lab was a little dry, but overall still enjoyed it. The octopus was delicious. The churros were a fun end to our course, but we’re very sweet! Props to my server, Enrique. He was attentive and kind- can’t wait to come back for brunch! The bathroom is located in the hotel itself on the third floor- make sure to not get lost.

Everything about this place is phenomenal! The atmosphere whether you are entering from the hotel lobby or from 8th street is amazingly picturesque! Every corner is IG worthy and we haven’t even gotten to the food! I wanted everything on the menu! It’s knock your socks of flavor! And the cherry on top is the amazing staff from our server Llumey (pronounced Umay), the manager Belinda and Chef Anthony were all such pleasant souls!!! This was brunch with the hubby…I’ll be back with my girls! Definitely a new favorite!!

This is one of those DC staple places you’ve got to go at least once… or as many times as you can afford lol. I brought my best friend here for her birthday in November and we ate like queens. We had delicious strawberry cocktails and honestly our favorite thing was the oxtail cavatelli… I even ordered one to go. The giant shrimp was really flavorful, and her Steak Frites were really delicious whatever sauce they make for the steak was wild❤️! I can’t wait to go again, but taking my husband next time, the mood in the restaurant is very sexy. We went at dinner time so we got dressed up and they did not disappoint. Also, the servers were absolutely amazing! I just want to also say that our bill was extremely high, it was well worth it to celebrate my best friend, but you should know that before you get here.

There are two entrances. If you go through the 8th street entrance, your experience starts in a glamorous walkway that sets the expectations for an enthralling brunch date. It took 15mins or more to walk through just because my date wanted pictures in every one of the perfectly staged areas. I didn't mind much. Wish I knew about the hotel lobby entrance, though. :) The food didn't disappoint for sure. Waiter was very good; more like excellent. Most definitely a cool and happy person. Great food. Add the bottomless brunch punch combined with the pleasant sophisticated atmosphere just set the stage for a very fun date and brunch. Thank you!

Wonderful brunch stop. My Dirty Habit Burger was amazing!! Staff were super nice, quick, and on their game. I highly recommend if you are in the area, staying nearby, or passing through.

Went for DC restaurant week. Both the food and drinks were amazing. I ordered the lamb duo for an entree. The meat was tender and the fat literally melted in my mouth. The service was top notch as well. For instance, our waiter felt we waited to long for dessert to come out. He then gave us complimentary old fashions. We did not notice any delay. We will definitely come back to explore the rest of their menu.

We ordered the Restaurant Week special. Everything was delicious and we especially liked the portion size. Not too little, not too much. This place became an instant favorite after just one visit. My partner ordered an old fashioned and he really liked it. The vibe is pretty good too, really interesting. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. We didn’t care too much about the bathroom being located on another level, but were curious why that was the case. The bathroom are gorgeous, too.

Beautiful place. We were visiting DC for the weekend and had brunch there on Sunday. THE BEST FRENCH TOAST I HAVE EVER HAD HANDS DOWN. The mimosas are made with quality champagne. This place is classy and the brunch is not a club environment which is exactly what we wanted. We were happy with the customer service as well. They did combine the bill but we weren’t too bothered by that.

This place was AMAZING!!! My boyfriend and I went for their brunch and it was one of best experiences we've had in terms of service and food. The decor and overall vibe was immaculate. The food was so delicious. We had the steak and eggs, ham and cheese omelette, and the french toast. All of the plates were cleared and it was so worth the price! Enrique was such a pleasure. He always made sure we had everything we needed, answered all questions, and kept us very happy! Nubia was also great as well as she helped with consistently taking plates we didn't need and made sure we always had water. I would 1000% recommend this place and we will be back for sure! -Syd and Matt

Went last night to celebrate an anniversary with my partner. The service was fantastic and really made our celebration a 10/10. Lupe (may have misspelled her name) was amazing and gave great recommendations, very attentive. We also met Willy, he ended our night with smiles and appreciation. The food and drinks were delicious. The churros are to die for as well. Perfect date night and amazing service here. It was a pleasure meeting both, Lupe and Willy, we thank them for making our night memorable!

Visited the downtown Christmas market and were told there was a yappy hour (dog happy hour) at the Dirty Habit. We decided to stumble in just to check it out and we were absolutely surprised! The winter chalet was dreamy, the vibes were immaculate, and, despite there being a bunch of dogs, all of the dogs were very well behaved!! Such a fun event!! I hope they host more Yappy hours throughout the year because we will happily be there! Didn’t try the food, but the hot chocolate was a 10/10!!! The mulled wine was good too!!!

This place is great beginning with the location. My only knock involves the location of the restrooms, which I would prefer to be closer. Other than that, the food, drinks, service, and music are spot on for a great experience. My night began with The Dirty Salad and it only got better from there. Next came my elegantly prepared lamb chops and then my sorbet selection for dessert with some sherry. I must return to this restaurant very soon.

Had an amazing time here. Service was great, food was excellent. We even had a food allergy with our party that wasn't in the description on the menu. It was in an ingredient which they caught it and made us aware. Will definitely come back again and again when in the area.

Service was a little slow until we told the waiter he needed to do better, which he did. It should not take 20min to get water brought to the table. It did not look that crowded, but maybe they are lacking staff. The hostess did not sit us until our time, we were about 15min early. The other thing I did not like was that they did not have steak and eggs, how do you run out of something like that for brunch. Not everyone wants breakfast food at 2pm. The food I order was good and a decent portion, my homegirl felt her shortrib hash was a lil skimpy and needed more meat. The DJ inside was nice and the party in the courtyard was cool. There are a few TV screens for the games, and typically people start coming about 4pm to the outside party. Brunch punch has vodka so be careful, you'll be feeling too good. Im on the fence about returning, but would suggest anyone to go and see for yourself.

The patio bar is like an escape from the city. You are transformed from Washington to some chic place. Lots of area for a friend group gathering. I think they have a happy hour. The restaurant decor is very modern. Dim, black finishes, warm and inviting. Not a huge place but plenty of room. Service was attentive. Food was on point. Everything in our 3 course meal was on popping. Definitely a date night spot for locals. If you know, you know.

The Pan Seared Scallops ($35) is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Pure luxury. Hence the perfect food score. I tried the only vegetarian/vegan dish they had, Roasted Honeynut Squash ($27) for the main course which I found quite disturbing in terms of taste. It simply did not hit the mark in terms of flavor. It doesn’t look especially appetizing as well. Thankfully, they comped the dish. I wish they had another vegetarian option. It would’ve been better to make a seafood exception rather than try the vegan option since it was quite disappointing after the scallops. Since I didn’t really eat the squash, I kept the 5 star food rating. Service was good; they are very diligent with refilling water glasses. As a note, there is a mandatory 20% tip attached to the bill which goes toward service wages and benefits. Atmosphere was nice with a semi-open kitchen.

I was really excited about Dirty Habit because I was told the food is good. Unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Way too many ingredients, and it wasn’t memorable. Now, if you’re looking for atmosphere only, this is your spot. The first time I was here, it was for a 90s themed birthday party. The second time was a huge event for my sorority’s convention. The vibes are great, the music is awesome, so no disappointment there. However, if you’re looking for great cuisine, this isn’t the spot. To be fair, I heard their burgers are really good. Perhaps, if I find myself here again, I’ll try them and hopefully prove the third time is the charm. Four stars for great atmosphere and vibes.

Had dinner in the main dining area due to the patio behind closed. Quiet vibes and not so busy for a Sunday evening. I had the octopus and it was a bit salty. We shared the scallops tostada (probably good for up to 2 people) Drinks were really good and service could have been better, it did feel a little disappointing.

I enjoyed brunch yesterday here. I loved the decor! The bathrooms were the next floor up and thus a bit inconvenient but manageable for a meal. I ordered the healthy bowl with extra dressing and I found it to be tasteless. My companion had the French toast - but overall the hit was the truffle fries!! Wow! We both also got the bottomless brunch cocktails. The brunch punch was sensational!

It had been a while since I've been to Dirty Habit and never visited for brunch so we decided to try it out on a Saturday afternoon. The space is huge and busy but we were able to be seated with out any issues. It's a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance for a casual brunch or a date. Service The service was great. Our waiter was welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. Very attentive and accommodating through out our whole experience. Food and drinks came out really fast - we rarely had to wait for refills - it was great! Drinks For brunch they have bottomless mimosas and punch for $45. Food is not included. You can switch between the mimosas and punch but can't get both at the same time. They were both tasty and well worth the price for bottomless. Food We had plenty of it. We ordered the chicken and waffles, scrambled eggs w/ cheese, ham and cheese omelet, poke me poke you, donuts and churros. The presentation of all the food was great. The chicken and waffles were fine but I've had better, great scrambled eggs, my friends enjoyed the ham and cheese omelet and the poke me poke you. The churros were delicious but you can't go to wrong with churros and the donuts weren't our favorite although i saw rave reviews about them. Overall the food was fine. I would want to go back to try other things on the menu since they have a good selection of intriguing items. Overall really enjoyed the vibe and energy in the restaurant, very comfortable and a good time with friends. The food was pretty good and left me wanting to try other things on the menu. I would definitely try again to explore more options.

I had a fantastic brunch experience at Dirty Habit! The service was exceptional, with attentive staff constantly topping off our glasses for bottomless mimosas. The chicken and waffles were pretty flavorful, making it a memorable meal. Definitely a cute vibe for a weekend brunch, especially with summer approaching!

The food and atmosphere was amazing, unfortunately I can't say the same for our waiter but I'm hoping it was an off day. The drinks were great, menu was diverse and the churros are bomb. Great place for special occasions, highly recommend

You can never go wrong with any meal at Dirty Habit; during this particular visit I was there for a late dinner. As always the service and menu options were top tier, but I felt as if the prices of some menu items were much higher than expected/necessary. I wanted to have an espresso martini with mezcal, and I was brought the menu and told I would have to pay the difference for the mezcal & asked to choose which one - and the menu options started at $25 for a shot!! Overall the food was great - especially for an Asian fusion restaurant. The menu is quite daring with a few of the selections which I love, but the popcorn on the ceviche was stale which unfortunately meant it wasn’t such a great complement to the fish. The burger and truffle fries overall were tasty. My absolute favourite course was the Tuna not Tataki which was 10/10 with freshness and flavour.

Dirty Habit restaurant features an edgy design complemented by beautiful floral decor and a striking urban patio. It offers a wide selection of premium drinks and food items at slightly higher prices, making it a more upscale dining destination. Whether you're meeting friends for drinks or having a romantic date night, this spot caters to every occasion. Reservations for the indoor seating area are highly recommended. The service at Dirty Habit is exceptional, with a special mention to Belinda and Diana who provided amazing service. Even the bartenders and support staff went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. We tried a variety of drinks, wine, shrimp tempura, chicken sandwiches, and churros, and everything was of good quality. While none of the dishes were particularly outstanding, the top-notch service and ambiance more than made up for it. Overall, Dirty Habit is a fantastic dining spot.

Went to Dirty Habit DC and honestly, it was a disappointment from start to finish. The hostess greeted us with a stank face and zero professionalism felt like we were inconveniencing her just by showing up. Then, instead of being offered normal water, we were given hot water at the table. No menu for drinks other than alcohol, which made it clear they don’t care to accommodate everyone. The food? The chicken came out undercooked, which is completely unacceptable. The waffle ended up being the best part of the meal, which says a lot. Only highlight was the pineapple juice refreshing and actually done right. For a place that markets itself as upscale, the service and quality were way below average. Definitely not rushing back.

We went to brunch on a Sunday. The ambiance was very nice and gave an upscale type of vibe. The food seemed ok but I can't really say much as I had an omelette with potatoes and toast. Well bread because it wasn't toasted. It's kind of hard to mess up an omelette and toast. The potatoes were really good though. However my friends ordered the shrimp and grits and didn't like it at all. They said the sauce (which seemed like a tomato base ) messed it up. Two of my other friends had chicken & waffles. They didn't like the chicken too much as they both said they got a fatty part of the chicken and it didn't taste too good. We had a party of 7 so we were seated in "The Black Room". There was a DJ there who played good music that started off at an okay volume but increased in volume the longer we were there. Luckily we were in the black room so we could hear each other speak. Getting our food didn't take too long however my friends who got bottomless mimosas their drinks took some time to get refilled.

We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. They advertise happy hour and encourage people who aren't guests to patronize the place. It's a bar inside the Hotel Monaco right across the street from the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. The concept is terrific. The hotel is a square with an outdoor "patio" in the middle. The Dirty Habit is an all-glass bar that juts out from the hotel onto the patio. They have an indoor bar and and an outdoor bar with plenty of outdoor patio furniture. Unfortunately, it was miserably hot outside so we didn't want to sit outside. Inside there weren't many places to sit -- they had removed tables and the place was divided evenly because of a retirement party and a baby shower that were about to take place. We were limited to a specific area of the bar, and eventually the retirement party grew so large we felt squeezed so we moved to another bar inside and seated ourselves. I went to the hostess to ask if it was OK if we sat there. She said it was, but because we seated ourselves there was no server assigned. We would have to go to the bar to order our food and drinks. That was fine. The food was even better than we expected and the atmosphere was pleasant. What wasn't particularly convenient was the location of the restrooms. None on the bottom floor. We had to go through the lobby to the elevators, then go up one floor. I would go back for happy hour, but I'd like to go when they don't have a party scheduled

Food was super good, but service was lacking, at least for myself and my partner. We went for an early New Year’s Eve dinner and luckily gave ourselves plenty of time prior to our NYE night plans. Not sure if we were targeted, but wouldn’t be the first time an older straight couple was treated noticeably different then us at an upscale restaurant. It was a prix fixe meal in which we added one of the special edition truffle courses plus the drink pairing. We sat for 20+ minutes in between each course waited even longer for our drinks that were supposed to be paired with each course. No big deal really, except the table who sat down over 30 minutes after us got all of their food (and drinks refilled) way before we did. On top of it.. it seems like they got the last non-full of fat lamb-chops (see pics) cause i could only eat about 1/4 of each of mine and they were raving about them - and to be fair they did look amazing, i was envious of their plates. I actually like semi fatty meat but this was overkill. Everything else was delicious and I would try again even with the mediocre service. I’d love to check out their standard menu and maybe a different server! For more food pics check me out on ig: @whetyourappetites

My friends and I had a birthday brunch at Dirty Habits. The food was delicious. However, there were fruit flies flying around. It was so disgusting. The waitress seemed so unhappy. Then it was advertised as sing along Sunday but no one was singing along. I was looking forward to it. Nevertheless, The DJ played some good music. I won’t go back.

Soooooooo…. My friend got here at 1pm and I got here at 1:15pm. Since then the customer service was poor. The table was unstable until we said something. The unstable table caused the water to spill and as of 3:15pm we never received napkins to clean up the puddle. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to come and ask for assistance such as needing a refill of the mimosas. Then shots were ordered and it took 30 minutes to get that. Mind you the shots we asked for were reposado and we received blanco. I get wanting to make the alcohol stretch but having my taste buds suffer is not acceptable. There were two occasions when it took 20+ minutes for a server to come to the table. When the food came, the server did not ask if we needed anything and had to wait an additional 15 minutes until we were able to wave someone down to get salt, pepper, and hot sauce for the meal. It should be noted the food did not arrive until 1.5 hours after being initially seated. The table next to us asked how long we had been waiting for food because they were concerned. Also the man from the other table went to the bar to get his drink instead of waiting for the server. It should be noted that we also had to sit with an uninvited guest (a gnat) for the entire experience. We called the manager on duty and she came. She was pleasant and the joy of the entire experience. Now if the experience can trickle down to the other staff, they might be onto something.

We came for brunch and was hoping to take advantage of the bottomless drinks. The drinks were Terrible.. not worth it. Llumey was our server and I don’t know if it’s because gratuity was included or if she was just overwhelmed but the service was subpar, she was not hospitable. Food was good, atmosphere was ok. I will not recommend this place and I will not be back.

C
Chelsea Fields

We made reservations, and we were promptly sat down, but that’s when the weight came into place. What seated our server was very slow, but he did mention they were a couple service that called out. This could be a one of thing, but not the best experience for me. We ordered the shrimp and grits. I would give that a two. The shrimp are like the little Baby shrimp, not quality shrimp. The grits not grits. Their texture of them was very weird. The flavor was good, but if only the grits and the shrimp are better. That would’ve helped my date. Ordered the chicken and waffles. And we would rate that about a three flavor was good. Waffles were cool. The best thing where the churros very good. Overall I would not. Unfortunately recommend coming here. Unless maybe you’re just coming here for vibes. Even the drinks were low vibrational when it comes to the presentation and for me I’m a presentation girl and that didn’t work for me but if you want to hear a good music on a Sunday and you don’t care about presentation of drinks and who made food then this is your spot.

My boyfriend and I visited Dirty Habit for Valentine’s Day. Before I get into my review, it’s important to recognize that yes, it is incredibly busy on that day and it was taken into consideration for this review. If you are planning on visiting for a holiday I strongly advise against it. We arrived around 5 minutes before our reservation time, and were told to wait in the lobby until our reservation was ready. We were not seated until 15 minutes after our scheduled time. After seated we could immediately sense the staff was being overworked and very unorganized. We were told that by our own waiter when we were rushed ordering and he said it would likely take a very long time due to how backed up the kitchen was. We ordered one each of the specialty drinks and ordered the fixed Valentine’s Menu. We got the first couple courses, and when the main entree arrived, it was the wrong food. We kindly told the food runner that it was the wrong meal and we did not touch the food even when it was left at our table. When our waiter came back 5 minutes later to the table, we told them it was the wrong meal and they walked away with it for maybe 2 minutes and returned with the exact same plates for the table next to us (who also received their dessert before their entree). I have worked in multiple fine dining establishments and it is NOT normal to serve food that has already arrived and sat at another table for any amount of time. Our food eventually arrived and was as expected for the rest of the meal. Our waters were empty nearly the entire time. The server was not there for the majority of our visit and most of our food was delivered by food runners. It makes sense there is a built in 20% gratuity as I am sure many tables would not tip that much considering the service. TLDR: Don’t come on a holiday. Mid service. Not worth the price. Not for those who want a relaxing dinner.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and it was a terrible experience. They advertised a fixed menu that was not offered to us on our 8pm reservation. Based on what the waiter said it seems that they had already “ran out” of that option for the evening. The drinks and food took forever to come. We had to ask for water more than once because they never served it to us by themselves in the first place. 20% gratuity was included to the bill automatically and they didn’t deserve it at all. It’s a pricey place for the food and quality of service that we actually got. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t deserve a second chance. So think twice about spending over 300 dollars per two person for dinner.

Literally how we left the table after we were just served dinner after the appetizer. The appetizers are mid the best thing on the menu is the broccolini. We spent $200+ on food that was nasty and we didn’t even bother to take it home. The food is trash and overpriced and even the drinks were nasty. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re black and used to flavors.

I came for the Winter Chalet experience and left completely disappointed. There was no guidance on where to sit, and when we finally found seats by the fire, the tables were still covered with used plates and dishes. No one came by to clear them or acknowledge us. They advertise a special Winter Chalet experience, yet the themed drinks weren’t even available despite being on the menu in front of us! My friend had to go inside for a drink and waited thirty minutes just to be served. For a place that markets itself as an elevated seasonal experience, the service was nowhere close. Not worth it!

We had 8:15 PM reservations on Valentine’s Day 2026 at the Washington, DC location and were not seated until 8:50 PM. We had plans scheduled after dinner that had to be canceled due to this delay. We stayed only because we needed to eat. We ordered lamb and steak, both medium rare. The waiter attempted to persuade us to order well done instead, which was inappropriate and unnecessary. We were clear about what we wanted. Both entrées arrived well done and extremely dry. The server placed the plates down and immediately walked away before we could check the temperature. He did not return to the table until it was time to present the bill. We also ordered two Shirley Temples. After waiting more than 20 minutes, we had to flag the server down. He stated he believed someone else had delivered them. He retrieved them minutes before we received our entrees. We ordered two additional drinks at that time but never received them. No manager was visible or accessible despite the issues. Additionally, we were not provided a final signed receipt after payment. We spent over $200 expecting a quality dining experience. Busy holiday service is a management issue — not a customer responsibility. Reservations, cooking temperatures, and table service should not collapse under volume. This experience did not reflect the pricing or reputation of the establishment.
