Nine times out of 10 when we go to this Texas roadhouse the food and service are always excellent. I think we’ve only gone once or twice where we were maybe slightly disappointed but overall this is a good one and one of our favorite chain restaurants in this area that we like to go to. Possibly one of my only complaints is that it’s usually freezing in there.

I live in Oswego and have no trouble making the trip to Watertown to enjoy a meal at Texas Roadhouse. Food is always good, prices are right and it always has great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place whether it's lunch or dinner.

Very busy Friday night. Waited awhile for our table and then waited a bit for entrees but it was well worth it. Good service, great food and well ran establishment! Had the cactus blossom, 14oz ribeye, salad and potatoes. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! May need a few extra hands in the kitchen to keep up with demand!!!

We came to the restaurant for the first time on Saturday around 7pm. It was full house, but we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. Basket of roasted and mildly salty peanuts in shell were waiting us on the table, and freshly made hot buns were offered right away. We felt very welcomed and invited. We took Dark horse Cabernet, it was very delicious. Fried Shrimps and steak were very testy as well as the side dishes. We took mushrooms, green beans, baked sweet potato and fried onion. Came here for the first time last night and had a great experience. We waited for a bit but that's to be expected on a Saturday night without reservations. Our server was fantastic, the manager chatted with us a few times. Because it was our first time, the manager served us a plate of tasters of different side dishes available. The buns and peanuts are a delicious treat and the food was great. I had the rib and chicken combo with a salad and loaded sweet potato. The sweet potato was the best I've had, as well as the ribs. The salad was a salad, the chicken was good. Overall, our experience was great and we'll definitely be returning!

We had the pleasure of having Xanara as our server. She was very kind and took care of us the entire time. We ordered the pulled pork dinner as well as an 8oz smothered steak and it was all delicious. It was our first time eating here and we loved how efficient the service was and the amazing quality of the food being served. We can definitely see how this place has so many glowing reviews and can't wait to come back! Tip: You'll want to buy their steak house. It's smokey and a perfect complement to your meal.

My family and I have been coming to this location for years and have always loved it! Today our server was Karmen, she was just incredible and attended to our every need before we could even ask her to. She was one of the best servers we've ever had! Will be back of course!

Absolute favourite steak restaurant. The bread with the cinnamon butter is amazing and the cactus blossom is excellent. The real star of the show was the prime rib; cooked perfectly. Will return!

The food is always yummy here. To me it gets a little too loud, but its to be expected. Our waitress tonight was great. Our son ordered ribs and fries. When he got them they looked really good on top, when he flipped them over they were charred on the bottom. Our waitress came by and asked how everything was, she looked at his ribs and saw the charred ribs and asked if he wanted her to take them back and get some more that weren't charred. The second ones turned out way better. That's great service, when waitresses go above and beyond for their customers.

Jamie was our server. Nicest guy! I had the salmon, he had the fillet. We sat in the bar and enjoyed our food while laughing and joking with Jamie. Thanks for treating us right!

My parents jus drove 8 hrs and wanted a good meal. My mom was so happy with our burger, my dad loved his steak, my husband loved his burger, my smothered sirlon was dellllicious and my brother is so happy with his ribs. I may have to get those next time. But back to this server, she was friendly, welcoming, and focused. Everything was amazing. Thank you

Came to this location as our first time in New York and we came on a Saturday super busy but if you use the waitlist in their website you can reserve a table a lot faster then just waiting around it’s a fantastic feature! And our waitress and the food was amazing not to mention delicious Margaritas!!!! Will definitely recommend coming out here and dining in! The food was cooked exactly how I asked and everything was perfect!

The whole experience starts off with their freshly made buns and cinnamon whipped butter... You can just have that and go home happy. The ribs are probably the best I've had. Truly fall of the bone, and juicy. The BBQ sauce was tasty and they'll bring you more at no charge. The steak was juicy, tasty, perfectly cooked, and doesn't need extra seasoning. The side of fries and chilli were excellent. The sweet potato with marshmallows felt more like a dessert...it was really good. The server was friendly and attentive. It gets busy, but it's well worth the wait!

Very Busy on Fridays. Good food. Strong drinks. For some reason I got extra dressing for the salad that was already dressed lol. But I loved the 8 oz sirloin that I had left overs of and ate in the car 8 hours later. Super elite. Obvi, I got bread rolls to go with their yummy butter. The rattlesnake bites were so goooood too.

First time being here in waterdown New York. The manager (chris) was super nice and came over and spoke to us for a bit ,maybe because our first time and also Canadians lol 😆. I took my brother for a late birthday dinner at this location. Both of us were first time visitors to the franchise as a whole. Our experience was unbelievable! The restaurant was quite busy when we walked in yet we were greeted with smiles and with no sense of urgency on the hostess to get us a table. We were seated right away and served their famous bread rolls with cinnamon butter which made us only want more. Kelcie (sorry if I butchered the spelling) greeted us as her server and treated us like she was welcoming family into her home. She was very thorough and made excellent suggestions on the different sides. She was a busy lady working the bar and tables but we never felt forgotten and never had to ask for anything as she was there ready for our next question/request. As for the food if we could give a 6 star we would as they wowed us with the right amount of seasonings and flavour combos. Will for sure be back to see Kelcie and have more delicious food. Keep her around she's a superstar.

I always get great service here. Everyone greets you with a smile and is very genuine. I like to go to the bar and have a mocktail and an ice cream sundae. There never seems to be an issue. It is TRH, so it gets busy, but even then the service never falters.

My family had dinner here and the experience was fantastic. We went on a Monday before Christmas. It was busy for a monday so they must be constantly busy during the week. Our Waitress Anya was fantastic! She never rushed us and checked in just the right amount of time and always smiled. The food was phenomenal. Cesar salad wasn’t too dressed and lettuce was fresh. The steaks were legit some of the best I’ve had in a while. Prime rib was a 9.5/10 easily. Well done to team here.

The place was awesome! We visited earlier during a snowfall event this December after recommendations from friends, and it was still open! Upon the staff overhearing it was our first time at Texas Roadhouse, they gave us a bunch of excellent complementary appetizers. Katie was our server, and recommended good non-alcoholic drinks for us like the blue raspberry one. We loved the food, the music, and atmosphere! Excellent seating options, and complementary peanuts too. Hope to visit again. 🤠

I went to the Texas Roadhouse yesterday. The waiter name Jamie, he's excellent. The restaurant was packed because of the Columbus day but he still takes a great care of us perfectly. Thank you Jamie. We picked the hand cut steaks before we seated and the steak was incredible. It's kind of melting in my mouth. You shouldn't missed that. Highly recommend that. For the appetizer, we have the cactus blossom (fried onion) and twist mozzarella cheese. They're delicious too. If you visit the Watertown. Please give this place a chance and you won't disappointed. One of my favorite places to go. Haven't been in a couple years as I'm from Canada and the dollar is 👎. Anyway had a 24oz ribeye asked for med rare it was more on the rare side. My wife had country fried chicken and she says it was awesome. I'll be back again.

Outstanding experience. The service was phenomenal and the food was great, exactly what you'd expect from a Texas roadhouse experience. We got the fried pickles (would recommend), the blooming onion, porterhouse steak with side salads and it was all great.

First time at a Texas roadhouse but won’t be my last. It’s sort of the most American possible version of an Outback Steakhouse. In a good way. Steak was surprisingly tender and tasty. Price was great value. Peppercorn sauce hit. The service was prompt and solid. One of the best value places around. I will be going again.

I had steak salad. Pretty darn tasty. Bread is also very good. I have had ribs before and they are quite good

I brought four guests for dinner. 3 of our meals were wonderful. One meal of Ribs however was horrible and I was embarrassed and the rest of our meal became strained. The ribs were ice cold. The green beans mushy. The staff redid the meal and were wonderful but by then my guests appetite was non existence. I still paid for the meal and tipped 15 percent.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is great if you enjoy a country-style setting. Unfortunately, the management and organization need work. We were told the wait would be 10–15 minutes but weren’t seated for 35 minutes. After that it took 35 minutes for a salad and another 45 minutes for dinner, so we spent about two hours there. Our server accidentally forgot to submit our order, which added to the delay, but they felt bad and I appreciated their honesty. We were told we’d receive a discount because of the wait. I travel about 240 days a year and see a lot of restaurants, and this one was on the lower end when it comes to organization. The food itself was spot on, they just need to get things running smoother. It had been over 10 years since our last visit, and the last time we had similar issues. We were given a 5$ off for the trouble that was a smack in the face

The service was good as well as the atmosphere of the place. Nice to look at all the stuff they have decorating the place. The food was not so good. My wife ordered the chicken breast and it was so overcooked that she could not eat it. Her entire entre was still there when we left. It should have been obvious that there was something wrong but no one said anything to us and just handed us the bill. My burger was supposed to be medium and it was literally burned with the exterior so burnt that it was crunchy.

We've loved this Texas Roadhouse the last few months while working in Watertown and last year. Tonight though, our server Victoria was very unpleasant, rude and kind of gruff. I think she forgot she's taking our orders and serving the customers and supposed to be kind, she was not. We all have bad days, but as a frequent loyal customer of TR, I think she needs a little talk with management. Anyways, we love our favorite server Jamie, he's #1 in all the TR we frequent nationwide, and the manager Tracy was awesome and as usual excellent food!

If you like eating out in restaurants, this is for you! They've got parking for all sorts of vehicles. They have bathrooms! They have seats! They also have a display case where you can pick out the steak you want, which, upon reflection I figure I might should have done. I ordered a steak off of the menu. Not a cheap one. I'm talking to one of those 30 plus dollar suckers. And it was more fat than steak Don't get me wrong, I don't expect all 20 oz of steak to be steak but I sure as heck don't expect it to be 4 ounces of bone, 6 oz of steak, and 10 oz of fat. Which is pretty much what it was. So if you like a steak that is mostly fat, you would have been so happy. I'm too picky, and that's on me. But it wasn't terrible. I'm sure, had there been more meat, I would have really enjoyed it. I like a good fatty cut of meat. I eat a carnivore diet. I'm all about putting a little bit of butter on top of my steak. But this was a bit excessive. They also don't have a way to order just the meat. You have to order a supper and then tell them you don't want the sides. But then they tried telling you that the sides are free, which is strange because if you want an extra side they charge you extra money. That means the sides aren't free. Again, I'm probably being too picky. Or maybe I'm not.

If you want grilled steak make sure you know what you order..I love it when staff sings Happy Birthday song - yeehaaa!Once again I have to mention that servers should be fully aware about the method of cooking and how the food they serve tastes in order to recommend to customers options based on preferences. Draft Beer was basic. I heard customers complaining about bathroom needing some TLC. Ultimately the grilled steak was still not what I hoped for.

My first time coming to Texas road house was OKAY, probably won't return, but allow me to explain. My husband and I came here for the first time to try it out and we got seated right away with some bread rolls and butter. The rolls were soft fresh and buttery and the butter was delicious with a hint of cinnamon. My husband ordered a strawberry lemonade that was great as well. We ordered all of our food fast and together the appetizer and our entrees. Our appetizer came after a good while of waiting I'd say a good 20 minutes. We ordered the combo with potato wedges, chicken, and jalapeño poppers. The wedges were bland if not for the cheese and bacon, the chicken was good, and the poppers were a burst of spiciness. After about 5 minutes after that I got a side from my entree. I was a bit confused as my entree didn't come with it but I just went with it. The chili was good but served to me lukewarm, no steam was coming from it at all like it had been sitting for a long while. After a good 15 minutes our entrees came out. At this point we were kinda full almost finishing our appetizer and chili with how long it took to come out. My entree was the 8 Oz Sirloin and ribs with mashed potatoes and (chili but it was served way to early) and my husband got the 8 Oz sirloin with baked potato and corn. The steaks were missing flavor, it was cooked well and medium like we asked just a bit flavorless so we had to accompany it with a1 sauce and salt. Mash potatoes were good but lumpy and at the start I ended up eating a glob of butter that was hidden underneath my cheese. The ribs were disappointing and the bbq sauce contributed most of its flavor although it was overpowered by the burnt edges of it. The shrimps were excellent and juicy and the baked potato was overloaded and flowing with butter onto the plate. Overall presentation could have been a bit better. Aside from that the manager came by a couple times to our table to check on us and our server Brendon was nice. There was lots of yelling because of someone's birthday in the back, food underneath our table that we accidently stepped on a few times as well as a table near us picking their teeth and another table chewing with her mouth open. Perhaps the other things on the menu were good but this place was not for me.

Six ounce steak? Seems smaller. Salads were half the size. Order did not include any of the butter for rolls. So check before you leave.

Restaurant was freezing and we had one of the worst lunches I’ve had in a long time. It was lunch so we both got the southern chicken with white gravy. Just awful didn’t even finish half of what we were served. Mac and cheese was watery and just a bad version of the boxed stuff. The white gravy tasted like it was made with dirty dish water. The green beans were so bad they still keep me up at night. Super disappointing all around as it was our first time and I had heard good things. Definitely won’t be going back.

We are regulars at this location, till yesterday. Our order was not received as requested. We waited over 45 mins for our order and the meat wasn’t cooked, yet very charred on the outside. The waitress was advised and leaned over the table and looked at me and stated “well you ate it”. Which I did- 3 bites. The hostess took 10% off. We thought it was going to be removed. After talking to her again she removed the meal from the bill. Meantime the waitress stood at the station and talked about us to another waitress. So I waved at her and said “yep I the one you are talking about”. Very unprofessional and disappointed with food.

Ordered 2 ribeyes both medium rare (to-go). I would have returned mine if we were in restaurant but since I brought it home I ate it because I paid close to $100 for it. My husbands was perfectly medium rare. Mine? Cooked well. I normally go for rare so I was hoping it would be done correctly with getting medium rare. Me, my boyfriend, and his family all decided to take a nice trip to Watertown for a nice dinner. Usually this place is okay and the service is excellent. But today was just not it. First of all, the place was not very well maintained, and the server we had was not very nice. She was just honestly rude and was rushing everything. She never even asked if my boyfriend wanted his steak sautéed ( and he always get his steak that way). The rolls were also a little burnt and none of our steaks were cooked right. Usually this place decent, but today it was not. Hopefully we get a better experience next time. I was very disappointed.

I order online here I’d say often and sometimes it’s ok one night they had no bred left and offered me frozen bread another night they called me back and said they did not have the big NY strip but wanted to change my order to the smaller NY strip the smaller portion per oz is much more expensive so I asked if they could just give me two for the price of the larger steak they said no this last time I ordered they didn’t give me a NY strip at all it was a sirloin steak a much different cut of meat all together which is neck and neck upsetting with the night they wanted me to take the smaller steak at more money per oz

We wait out side in the cold and the family infront of us was a older couples want to sit and had one more coming from the parking lot and would not let them sit after freezing in the cold for 15 min. Never been to a Texas road house with such rub hostility.

I've been to a few Texas Roadhouse restaurants. To this day I have yet to be impressed. We arrived and we're promptly seated. 3 adults and one child. Our server was helpful and quickly ordered drinks and an appetizer. Restaurant was about 40% capacity. Staffing appeared to be full. After the drinks and the onion came out we placed our order. After an hour at the table 3 other parties had been seated and serves both appetizers and their meal. I went to the front greeter and asked how long we had been at the table. She said 52 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager. I was ready to pay and leave. I was told she wasn't my table. When I got to the table she was not there. I returned to the greeter and asked again for the manager. I wasn't going to leave without paying for what I had drank and the appetizers we had. It took a lot of back and forth and with the manager until she finally gave me a total that I promptly payed for. I asked to speak to My server before I left. In front of the manager I applauded her service to us and told her I know she can't control the kitchen. We tipped our server as the visit was not her fault. Why this manager was not paying more attention to the patrons with the number of staff on hand is beyond me. Pictures show the table after 52 minutes of wait time. The food boxes up was my son's chicken tenders. Our food had not made it.

Both being seniors with disabilities, we were taken past a number of empty tables and seated near the front door on one of the coldest days of Jan. 2026. At 3:30 the woman’s washroom garbage was overflowing on the floor and toilet disgusting!!!

Food was good but the service was terrible. Apparently our papered Service Dog was an issue which brought over the new manager. No refills of drinks offered throughout the meal, garlic butter when asked for twice, was substituted with plain melted butter. The server didn't give us 2 seconds of her time after she asked if everything was okay and then abruptly walked away. Obviously someone didn't want our business and the minimum tip certainly reflected that.
