P.F. Chang's - West Des Moines

Loved food as always ! The waitress Alitzel and atmosphere were awesome !

We don’t usually pick chain restaurants but this one is an exception. Great food, service, atmosphere & location. We come here every time we come to Des Moines shopping. Never disappoints! Pictured is the lettuce wraps. My favorite dish! Served as an appetizer but enough food to make it a meal.

We've been here many times over the years that is been open. Love the atmosphere inside and the patio is fantastic in the summer nights. Food quality has always been fine, it's not incredible but never have been disappointed. The menu should have something for everyone. The pleasant surprise was the kids menu portion and choice, it had a perfect amount of chicken and veggies for our 7 and almost 3 year old, the kids ate almost everything. I'm sure we'll be back again in a couple of months.

Staff and Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would rate this location’s overall, all encompassing atmosphere higher than the other locations I’ve been to (AZ, MN). We went here to celebrate a friend and had the flaming steak appetizer (see video), Buddha’s Feast, Kung Pao chicken, Salt & Pepper Prawns, Lettuce Wraps, Spring Rolls, and Fried Rice. All wonderful dishes with great presentation, prices, and serving size. Quick service but in a relaxed environment. Overall would recommend this P.F. Chang’s location to all. It is evident the management provides excellent leadership. Thank you for helping us celebrate!

Absolutely delicious! If you haven't eaten here yet, I highly recommend you do! Fantastic food, amazing service, very nice intimate atmosphere. We had Spencer as our waiter today and he was awesome. He was very attentive, and had a great attitude. We will continue to come back.

We arrived at 9:45 pm and we were treated as well as if we arrived at open! Ruben was amazing, patient, and extremely attentive. The food was hot and delicious. In fact we were there Tuesday and went back today (Friday) and it was just as great! Thank You

Awesome environment, and people. Bartenders were extremely inviting and nice Trevor and Cordell were the best made everything relaxed and fun there. Will come back for more!!!!

Felicity was wonderful, helpful, and pleasant. Manager rounded on us. Provided free dessert. Fantastic customer service. We definitely will return.

Alitzel was freaking amazing. Kind and cordial. She made us feel comfortable and we felt welcomed. She had a smile on her the whole time. We appreciated everything.

I absolutely love Queen. She is so kind, so observant, attentive & loves to chat with us! I loved loved being able to ask about her life & have her tell us all that she’s accomplished in her lifetime. I adore her so much.

We stopped in for an afternoon drink, and Ali took great care of us. Excellent drink recommendations! California roll was good too—had never tried the sushi before. Perfect afternoon snack.

My family of 6 had a great time at dinner tonight! Most of the food was well, but the Butter cake was THE BEST THING SMOKIN! Ali was our sever and treated us well, very chill person but also personable so overall her service was great.

Just stopped in one evening. Definitely had a romantic vibe going on with lights and music, very comforting. Our server was very attentive. And the food was delish!! We enjoyed the dinner very much.

I stopped by this morning and promptly was greeted by my server Trevor. He was very helpful right from the get go, as I had not been to PF Chang’s in a long time, he suggested plenty of delicious sounding food, I decided to go with the Sesame chicken. And it was delicious. Trevor was very attentive throughout my meal and made sure my drink was always filled up and have to say it was awesome service compared to some other restaurants I have been too recently in Jordan Creek. I will for sure be back

PF Chang’s was really good — the food was tasty and pretty affordable, about $10–$20 a person. Everything came out fresh and quick. Our server, Queen, was super nice and gave amazing service — she definitely made the meal better.

Skyler was amazing! She is super attentive and fast. She went above and beyond and made our experience great, we will definitely be back

Queen was my server tonight at PF Changs. She was so friendly & professional. Very pleasant & punctual. Food was absolutely delicious, especially the Mongolian Beef with Lo Mein.

Busy but service was still pretty fast. Option to sit outside is nice if you want to. Server came by plenty to check on us. Kept drink refills coming. There's a pond and walking area outback so if outside there is plenty to watch.

Aubrey is super awesome as our waitress. Went above and beyond for us on every avenue of her profession. This is by far the best P.F Chang’s I’ve ever been at. Very clean place and the food was tremendous. Thank you for your hospitality!

The food was great but lacking presentation. Nothing really different or special from the other Chinese restaurant that we went to but I can tell their food is freshly made - not reheated or placed in a microwave. The serving is of substantial size and I love that it is really made from scratch. Oh I can tell when it has been precooked. The oil that they used taste good and new too - again, I can tell when they use cheap once. I love the ambiance of the restaurant and not noisy and well lit. I could have given 4.5. Kudos to the staff, they deserve your tip! We are definitely coming back to try other menu.

We had a great time. Had great service, kid-friendly, food came out in a timely manner. Bathroom was clean. No complaints. We had a good time. Lots of seating of places for larger groups. You can even sit and order at their bar which we have done once. I love the honey chicken.

Had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to Cordell! Super friendly, attentive, and made our meal even better with great service. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had in a while!

It was our first time here. This was our experience. When we first walked in (party of 4) the gal at the hostess stand asked a server to find her a table four. The server told her to ask someone else and walked away leaving the hostess trying to figure it out. Then when they found us a table it was way in the back (not a problem) but the floor was sticky everywhere we went. At one point my daughter almost fell. We were able to order appetizers and drinks pretty quickly. They came and were alright. The egg drop soup I ordered tasted funny and had a weird smell to it. They offered me something different instead which was a house salad. It was ok. When we ordered our entrees (b kinda small for the price) they didn't bring the fried rice out until we were getting ready to leave. We had to ask for the check 3 times before we got it. The food was good for the most part other than the soup. The service could have been better. The server was friendly enough he just wasn't there very much. Overall I'd say it was ok but probably not a place I would want to come to often.

I have been to many other locations around the country and I have to say that this was by far my least favorite location. The place was not as nicely decorated and clean as others. The food was ok; again, not as good as other locations.

I had the Buddha delight which comes with 5-spice tofu. The server asked if I preferred steamed or fried. I guess between steaming the food and my peanut allergy, they forgot my tofu. When I asked about the missing tofu, the brought out cold, uncooked tofu, which I didn't want to eat for food safety reasons. My husband had the sesame chicken. Both were okay, but not worth a second trip to experience again. The handmade pork pot stickers were good. The service was fantastic until the very end.

They have the best customer service. The staff is always super friendly at all their locations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's a nice place to catch up with friends but food wise... it's a bit pricey compared to other Asian restaurants and the taste doesn't do it for me. I thought by adding a little soy sauce it would give my fried rice some flavor but they included light soy sauce which didn't help. Lol

Good atmosphere with clean bathrooms. The food was just OK, homemade type taste. The teriyaki chicken had a lot of vinegar in it and pineapple which was weird. The broccoli in the beef and broccoli was uncooked and unseasoned. The rice wasn’t salted either. Each dish was $20 and one lemonade was $5. Not worth it at all. The service wasn’t good, the waiter was no where to be seen.

We (family of 3) dined-in on 8/9 around 3pm and it was not a good experience. We spent 2 hours in the restaurant and most of that time was us waiting around. It took around 10 mins for our server to come and take our drink/food order. It took another 20 mins for our app to come. We sat for another 35 mins for our entrees to come. Our waiter never came to check in on us to tell us (even though there were only 5 other tables with people and 3 servers working). After eating, we waited around for another 15 mins for our server to walk by so we could ask for the check. It took them another 15 mins to bring it to us. We spent 2 hours in the restaurant and most of that time was us waiting around.

Today unfortunately was our third time within the past 6 months of poor service. It seems every time we go there, the soup apps and main all come out at the same time. Today in particular was likely the last time we will visit. The service was incredibly slow, mind you we visited for lunch, around 12:30, there was maybe 8 tables and two servers. Any food took about 45 minutes to reach our table, and was served incorrectly. We ordered chicken wraps and received tofu, we also ordered soup and a main. The soup came after the wraps which is abnormal in my opinion. The main dishes took so long we asked for them to go. The food was ok at best, the service continues to lack much to be desired. This won’t be our next choice for Chinese anymore.

Friday night dinner. Atrocious service. We got our entrees first, apps second and drinks last! It took about 45 minutes from our drink order before we had everything. We even reminded our server about our drink order and he kind of blew us off saying the bar was busy. Sir it’s a Friday night and there are still a few empty tables. In no world should we get our entrees before our drinks.

First time eating here in years. This place was never a 5-star restaurant, but the food quality makes the prices laughable. Main entrees mostly seem to be overcooked copies of Panda Express dishes. Pad Thai had way too much salt, and the chicken in it was overcooked to the point that it had to be picked out. California roll was ok but it looked like they bought it from Hy-Vee a day earlier.

I wanted to love this since I have heard such good things about it but sadly I was very very disappointed...came for lunch and got the special of course. Pork egg roll was amazing so thought the other food would follow..."fried rice" was so mushy, had barely any veggies in it...the firecracker shrimp was lacking any form of spice or flavor...I could have got better food for the same price at Panda and thats whats sad. The servers were amazing but sadly I will not recommend this place to anyone....

Terrible food, bland, no flavor. The frozen packs you can get from the store have more flavor than what I experienced at the restaurant. Took my food to go and re seasoned it at home and cooked it in my wok. Much better. South side china buffet has better food than this place.

Absolutely horrendous service provided. Wait staff all had a bad attitude and the manager overseeing the operation, Corey, was even worse than the wait staff. Everyone acted as though we were an inconvenience being there, my margarita came full of ice and only 3/4 the way full. It was literally 4 swallows of liquid. We typically love coming to this restaurant but after this evening, we will think twice about returning. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

I COULDNT even order food the woman on the phone was SOOOO rude. She told me that the restaurant is “PF CHANGS JUST LIKE I SAID” when I have a hard time understanding stuff like that. I asked a simple question like “what restaurant is this” because ive called the wrong restaurant before and she was so snippy.
