White Castles is The All American Classic. You know what to expect and you’re never let down. It’s a shame White Castles is never held in the same class as McDonalds and Wendy’s. I get total satisfaction when I eat a double cheeseburger with smoked cheddar cheese and extra ketchup.

The service was good, the food was good for a late night meal. I haven't had White Castles in a long time and it was good. When you go to a White Castle, you're there for one reason . . . a slider, although they come in several varieties. They're always excellent because like a boiling water, difficult to mess up. One's not enough, two or three is a tease, a sack is suicide. But what a way to go! Bring a friend and you'll have a story to tell your kids.

. I've been patronizing the one in West Hempstead for over 45yrs,I remember the blg from the 70's, which was replaced with a more modern blg, which has been renovated over the years. The food taste the same as it did from day one, they also have updated their menu, while more expensive which is to be expected I still go there from time to time, it's was always the late nite place to go after the club and the restrooms have always been clean

It's white castles where else can you buy 30 burgers and they make it for you fresh. Never had a problem here and my order is normally done in around 4-10 min. They are pretty busy but normally the food is fresh and good.

This is the new impossible burger at white castle and I say that they made it possible to have an amazing plant base burger. It's delicious.

Updated review: Definitely under staffed.The staff ot 4 was working extra hard to get out all the orders. My dad use to bring us white castles in the morning when he came home from hunting in the late 50's early 60S at that location,it was a wonderful bonding!

The service was fast. The burgers were super hot and fresh. The place was a little out dated looking. The customer service was great as well. My family enjoyed the crave cases, fish nibblers, fried clams, and onion rings . We will be going back soon.

Let's face it, if you like White Castle, you like it and if you don't, then nothing I say will convince you! This location is very good, the people who work here, have great attitudes and give good customer service. The food is fresh and tasty.

When I visit family in New York, I try to stop by this White Castle since there are none in Georgia. One of the only places l miss regarding food since leaving NY. The food is always fresh and hot.

Loved it. Except the pickles. I had bacon cheese burgers with cheese, dad had original sliders, fries and onion rings. This meal was hot really hot. So when I got home the were still hot, not cold. I would recommend them anytime. Especially when they have coupons out.

I go for the impossible burger and it’s so darn delicious. I wish it was closer to my house so I could visit more often. The staff has always been on top of things and so easy to deal with. They were always nice and very patient. I will definitely go here again. Their onion rings are so delicious. I do wish they truly had small drinks but I don’t think that exists anywhere in fast food anymore. The place is so convenient for entering or parking. I’ve never been inside. They do need to give salt paks out. I find that strange that they never carry them.

It's been years since I been to this location. Was there twice in the last 2 weeks and the staff is really nice the cashiers are courteous and the manager was very very nice to me. I give them 5 stars what a major major improvement since 25 years ago.

Guy left one lady working 2 registers. The drive-in and lobby. One guy was on the grill and the other on fries. I commend the cashier for her pleasant and professional service. Never complained and kept things moving. The guy falsely made some of us in drive-in come inside, claiming the system wasn't working. Liar!!!

Update: Had the crave this weekend and the food was great again. Fresh and steamed double cheeseburgers. Loved the meal. A special shutout to Juan, who is professional, always helpful and smiling. Love this guy and place. Taking out regularly the last few months and the food is consistently fresh and tastes great. The manager runs this place great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've never received an incorrect order or missing items. Best running fast food restaurant.

Only white castle in town cant beat it after the club around 3-4 am

White Castle has been a staple of the community since I was a young child. I am 60 now. I usually go for their shakes, which are thick enough to need a spoon to eat. I like to freeze them and eat it more like ice cream. The food is good and IYKYK the nicknames for their food. There is, however, nothing like WC burgers. My fondest memory is going into labor an hour after eating their burgers.

Went late at night. The lady working the 4am shift was great and she was the only one working doing multiple tasks. Hard worker. She deserves a raise. I hope they pay employees extra for doing night shift because she deserves it

When in NY you this place is a must. Staff were super nice at the drive thru. Food was hot and fresh.

We were lucky getting in when it was Not busy. Service was exceptional from a wonderful lady who helped me with my coupons and order. I wish I had gotten her name, but I hope she remembers how happy she made this old lady who was buying sliders to take back home , many hours away!! I planned on freezing them and they were packed really well. She was smiling and friendly and a great representative for White Castle. My food was cooked perfectly, hot and fresh and I enjoyed my breakfast sliders.

My very first white castle was in the 80s at this same store. It has always been an awesome experience. After the clubs, cars used to line up here. The food the service the atmosphere. Honestly white Castle isn't that great. It's not bad by any means it's just not the best. The employees kept messing up my order which I didn't mind since I wasn't in a hurry, but if you were you would find that very annoying. It's good once in a while.

Haven't been to this WC in years, but it is still nice and clean inside. I went to the actual place because it was less expensive to order in-house than my usual delivery order[30 sliders]. The staff were pleasant enough, but one male manager kept yelling at one other employee out in the open for the customers to see and hear, NO KOOL! Would recommend.

We ordered via the drive-thru. Service was ok (fast, but not very friendly)and food was barely warm and seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The savory chicken sandwich was so tough we threw it out after 2 bites. Not so sure we'd be back any time soon. We've had better food at the Lynbrook location which is only a few miles away, so we may just stick with them for now.

It's White Castle, what can be said. You either like them or you don't. If you have never had them, they are small, square, very thin hamburgers. The bun is steamed and they have a pickle and onions on them. An average man can eat probably 5 to 10 of them depending on your appetite. If you don't like onions, you are kind of SOL, as they make them with the onions on the grill by default, and then scrap them off if you ask for no onions. Fries are the crinkle cut type and if cooked all the way, are usually pretty good. I have from time to time gotten fries that have been rushed and are not cooked all the way. If they are not crazy busy, I ask for well done fries, and they come out crispy.

The food is okay but it sometime, sometimes it's hot sometimes it's warm. The staff usually gets your autocorrect but there are times when they may get a mix-up, not often but it does happen from time to time. For instance the last time we went chicken rings were ordered and burgers, however when the order came instead of chicken Rings they had fried clams. They did correct the arrow with no problems, no mistake however having to wait for the Rings to come cause the rest of the food to get cold as it was a takeout order. The store is clean the staff is polite and courteous it's just every now and then there is a mix-up or a delay other than that I would rate this store with perhaps a 75 to 80% efficiency. This is just from my encounters, oh and at times there is a long wait for your food when it is crowded. But that's when it's crowded so I guess that is to be expected.

The wait here is always long, during my visit the lady on the drive-thru mic had the heaviest accent I could barely understand her and to top it off there were 2 other people so loud in the background it sounded like they were on the mic too. Service is always poor here but at least my order was correct and the clams were dilicuous.

Back to back fast food restaurants??? First Taco Bell, now W.C.? Well, when I'm in Hampstead late at night or early in the morning, there are very limited options. I never really liked this place in the past, but they have vegan options now. The Impossible 🍔 burger is the only reason that I decided to try them again after about maybe 20 years or so. I have to be honest and say that I went there a few times for these burgers (cheese free) and they're not really bad. The veggie burgers however, are much cheaper but they don't really taste great. They're ok, don't get me wrong, just not really a favorite of mine. I know I don't have to say this, but these places are good when you're in a rush or on a budget or need some tasty food and/or not worried about health very much. We all know that these aren't the healthiest of options, but who makes great choices all day, every day? I know I don't. Another 3.5

The food was fresh (hot), however, this is the third time in a row where the drive through is an over 10 minute wait in line. Also a suggestion that they have Google Pay available for drive through like they have it for dine in.

Slow, slow, slow. Even on basic, simple, one person orders. Generally polite and they haven't gotten orders wrong so that's a saving grace. The management, or what seems like it are great, helpful and polite but often seem stressed with their incompetent and untrained subordinates. Except for the management, the other employees honestly don't appear to care about the job.

Haven't been to WC in many years. This one on Hempstead Turnpike was small inside. On the day I was there, the inside had a lot of water, as if the place leaked during the rain. Like all fast food places, it features a menu board of various combos and including chicken and fish to the burger fare. Ordered a sack of ten combo that came with two fries and drink. Also tried the chicken sandwich. The burgers were put together sloppily with cheese and grease on the outside of the mini boxes. The taste of the pickles were overwhelming killing the taste of the burger with the cheese and diced onions. Do not recommend the chicken sandwich. This was a mini breaded piece of chicken that was rubbery and bland tasting. The inside had welded tables and could have been better maintained from a cleanliness stand point. It features a drive through in addition to a parking lot. It catacombs the corner on Hempstead Turnpike and Front street. Overall, haven't really missed it after all these years. Maybe the old adage of them being belly bombers will result later. If you a in the mood to reminisce or just want a quick fast food option other than the other chains, go for it.

Living in NH we can only get frozen WC...so we thought let's get some fresh sliders...so disappointed. The taste and smell not like they were back in the day. The frozen ones are actually better.

I like the food but it does taste kind of mediocre. I got the cheese sliders and they tasted a bit better than a McDonald's cheese burger. The fries are pretty standard. The mozzarella sticks though tasted kind of like fish, my guess is they fry it in the same oil they make their fish sandwiches in. Overall it wasn't bad, I just think there is better food out there for similar pricing.

It's a fast food restaurant, so you can't expect much. This location used to be quick, and friendly, but it has changed. I ordered four sliders and they messed up my order, and they got upset because they were wrong. The person who took my orderinsisted that she never heard me order the sliders, yet there was a ticket with items on my order. It's a shame that the quality of service has gone so low.

There was no response at the drive thru. The last time I came I left after 15 minutes the line didn't move. This time the fried cheese curds were extremely salty. Had not had them fried before. It was the soft onion that had Krystals beat. I guess not anymore.

I love White Castle but this location needs help. The service is so agonizingly slow. If you go there during peak lunch hours be prepared to watch the drive through get prescience as a crowd of paid folks inside wait an obscene amount of time. Employees here all seem to be slow or mentally challenged!!! They all seem to be so confused at the drive through and it's no surprise that my order has been messed up each time I've been here. This time around, my order was short 6 burgers. After I got home and realized food was missing, I called the store but no one answered. I kept calling throughout the evening and no one answered. Stopped to get something for my family to eat the burgers smell and taste like they put barbecue sauce on them instead of ketchup they had no package ketchup. They give you ketchup in a open container. We couldn't even drink the fruit punch taste so bad like it came from the toilet my son have been vomiting for 2 days now smh. Something ain't right here

Typically the food is good here, but tonight, not so much! My fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks are all soggy and lukewarm. They aren't fresh at all and that's one thing I like about White Castle the most, they fry everything fresh. Well not tonight. Horrible service. I bought between $20 to $30 in food three times and each time they messed up my order. Each time I never received my waffle and chicken sandwich and the latest I got a waffle and egg sandwich. Furthermore, they always give me the wrong sandwiches. When I called to complain, the manager Shereen said that I have to come back to get a replacement order or refund. I ordered food during my overnight shift for pickup at the drive thru. I ordered 3pc mozzarella sticks, small onion rings, 2 chicken sandwiches and a sack of clam strips to share with a coworker. After picking up the food, I got to the job and the mozzarella sticks were perfect and the temperature was still warm. The onion rings were a little overdone and my coworker tossed them in the trash. The chicken sandwiches were hard as hell, overcooked and not edible. The clam strips as well were overcooked. Whoever worked during the overnight shift Wednesday to Thursday Jan 7th to Jan 8th. You need to pay attention when cooking; serving us this horrible food. We wasted our money on this crap! This is not White Castle standards. If I could have come back I would have.

Possibly the manager, which makes it even worse. I walked up to the counter and she saw me from her periphery, yet refused to make eye contact or acknowledge my presence. I stood there for at least three minutes waiting for her, or any other employee, to check in with me. They all refused to look my way, as if they were trained to do so. Then, someone else comes in and stands in line behind me, and this woman had the audacity to look past me and help the man behind me, at which point I interrupted to ask her “excuse me, am I invisible?” She then told me that the order I was picking up wasn’t ready yet. There’s no physically possible way that she would even know that I’m picking up a mobile order, or which order that would even be, but instead of taking accountability, she continued to act childish and venting to her coworkers about me while I’m still standing right there. It’s quite possible that this experience was racially motivated, as this employee and the customer behind me were both of the same race, different than mine. What I know for certain is that that disgusting excuse for a human should not be working a customer-facing job. White Castle corporate, do better and get rid of that monster.

If you go to this place, check your receipts. Their sign says $32.79 but receipt says $35.70. I went to ask the cashier but she didn’t know why. The drive-thru staff came and said “they change prices all the time but they don’t update the sign. I know it’s false advertising, but..” then shrugged it off.. I tried to explain to at least tell the customer before paying about the price change but that went to deaf ears and everything else after that. The staff was not concerned about this at all and had no plans on rectifying it or appeasing a customer for their “false advertising”. Basically told me SOL and just move on. Haven’t gone to this place in a while and this is Jesus giving me a sign 😂 I just can’t grasp the dismissive attitude about something that they know is wrong and had no plans of correcting it. SMH 🤦‍♀️

HAIR IN THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING. I used to come here since I was 7yrs old. Sherine the manager and her employee at the window didn’t apologize or nothing. Just questioned where the hair is in my food. They gave me my refund as I requested as soon as I got up to the window. Even if you don’t care at least act like you care about your job and other people inconveniences. That hair was black, my hair is red. Big disgusting. Never will I ever return. If you want to pull a piece of hair out of your throat, I highly recommend this spot !
