My steak did come out sooner than my friends meal, she waited about 5 more minutes. However, both were delicious. We sat at the bar and were entertained by the bartenders. Our tequila drinks were very good. Atmosphere was very cool. Valet is reasonable.

Very lively, beautiful restaurant with solid food and drinks. We got the crispy sesame shrimp appetizer & scallops which were amazing, the lamb chops were seasoned very well and delicious and the salmon, which was good, but the other dishes were so good, it kind of made the salmon feel a bit standard, but if you love salmon, you may love it, too. The drinks were beautiful, too. The churro sundae was a perfect way to end our meal, so good! Presentation here is everything. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

I went here for a company dinner and got lost trying to find the entrance after we valeted the car. Once we walked in, I was impressed by the atmosphere, it was beautiful. The drinks were great. The food was okay but a lot of my coworkers weren't impressed. My lamb chops were really good but those who got the tomahawk said it was not good and for the price, you would expect the best.

Very hip and chill restaurant that offered valet parking. Food and drinks were good, and I’m happy I was able to try Ysabel out. I don’t necessarily think I’ll be back again unless I’m invited to a birthday dinner or something of that sort there where I have to go.

I’ve been going to Ysabel for the past 10 years, and it used to be one of my absolute favorite spots amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and a vibrant, lively crowd. But over the past couple of years, it feels like the place has lost its spark. It's become quiet, and the ambiance just isn’t what it used to be. It’s such a great location with incredible food, but it no longer feels like it’s being used to its full potential. I really hope they consider remodeling or refreshing the vibe to bring back the energy and allure it once had. It’s sad to see such a gem lose its shine.

Ysabel definitely checks a lot of boxes - with a few caveats. I certainly feel that for a special occasion, like a birthday or anniversary, Ysabel is a wonderful vibe and experience. That being said....the service is a tad bit lacking in hospitality and not the most warm and welcoming...when it comes to giving a bit more of a personal touch. I do have to say, I LOVED just about everything that I ate here. I was worried that it would just be overpriced, average food at a trendy LA restaurant, but I am very happy to say that I was proven WRONG! Starting with the appetizers, I found the Hamachi Crudo to be beautifully light, silky smoothy, with a good amount of citrusy-ness and acidity. The Wagyu Skewers were also perfectly cooked and I enjoyed the scallions and mushrooms they come with. A few of the skewers weren't chopped into different pieces, although that's a minor gripe. The main plates of Lemon Pasta and the Hand-Cut Rigatoni were PERFECT. My Lemon Spaghetti was deliciously saucy and creamy while still also being light. I loved the slight zesty flavor while still being savory and saucy. Just THE perfect pasta, in my opinion. The Rigatoni also had just the right amount of heat and creaminess to its sauce. OH YES, and the Burrata & Prosciutto Salad was my surprise stand-out of the night! Generous portions, gorgeously presented, and the toppings all fresh and complementing each other JUST RIGHT! I also loved the cocktails here - especially the Something About Cherry - lightly fruity and rich without being overly sugary, and the Second Wind Espresso Martinis also being delicately prepared in just the right way. Swinging back to the vibes, I loved the relaxing atmosphere with the golden lighting everywhere and twinkling lights hanging from tree branches - perfect for a special occasion..even when it's a fully packed dining room on a Friday evening! That being said, I just had to take a star off for the service here. While not horrible, it was a disappointment..especially since it was my birthday and no one even offered any 'Happy Birthday' wishes. At least once would've been appreciated. It was also a bit slow, difficult to get more water refills to the table, and slightly gruff and rude overall in hospitality. Still, I definitely think the food quality and ambiance here make it well worth a visit for a date night or special occasion!

BEAUTIFUL atmosphere. Great staff. The food though… the cook is just bad. The ribeye was ordered medium and come out 100% well, then return medium rare. Miso salmon over Tom Kha Gai and basic black forbidden rice, mashed potatoes, and broccolini were fine at best. Not well seasoned. Nothing was good enough to write home about. One time restaurant for my husband and I. Could win awards for design for a luxury Spanish style restaurant IMO, especially when with a large group feeling like at a private catered table.

If you plan on doing something cute for your significate other don't expect Ysabel to do it for you, my boyfriend is still upset (month later) they wouldn't write on a desert plate for our anniversary, they told him the best they could drop was drop a note and that wasn't even guaranteed due to how busy they were going to be that night. It takes 2 second to drop a note at a table. So unfortunate that they wouldn't go the extra mile for a romantic evening. -0/10 for customer service. Also me personally: I hate how close the tables are, I could eat off the persons plate next to me and hear their personal conversations. I don't care much for this place it was just our first date spot. Foods good but if you want a more romantic experience with good customer service try Olive Garden.

Ysabel is a gem! Beautiful atmosphere, low lighting, gorgeous and elegant on the inside and out. However, I feel the quality of the food doesn’t match the atmosphere. I’ve been here a couple of times and this most recent I wasn’t impressed with the food. On the other hand the service here is amazing, our server was a delight and they offer vallet parking. If you are looking for an LA restaurant for vibes, good drinks and cute photos this is the spot, for food thought stick with the classics! What we ordered: (got double of everything for 6 ppl) Tuna cripsy rice: 7/10, i personally am giving this a 7 because although it is one of my favorite appetizers I felt this was nothing special. No extra WOW, but it is a classic and like I said one of my faves! Grilled shrimp: 8/10, this was quite yum! came with a sauce to dip in, very crunchy on the outside, mmm. wish they came with more but yk its an app parm fries: 10/10, YUM, can never go wrong with an order of these. lobster ravioli: 0/10, do not recommend. I love lobster ravioli but for some reason this was a NO. the whole table couldnt even finish their bites. the flavors, seasoning and lobster did not pair spicy rigatoni: 7/10, again nothing wowing about this dish but it is a classic and you cannot go wrong many drinks: 10/10 their drinks are amazing, we ordered espresso martiniss, beer, whiskey, tequila

Hey team, it’s time to wake up and stop trying to take advantage of your good customers. I showed up with my Lamborghini Revuelto on Thursday for dinner. The lot was completely empty, but the valet saw my car and tried to hustle me, $15 standard valet suddenly became $100 for a so-called “VIP area,” or else they’d park it 4 blocks away. This is ridiculous. Restaurants should be paying us to showcase cars like that in the front, not trying to squeeze every last penny from loyal customers. We come in, we’re respectful, we support your business, and in return, we get taken advantage of. No surprise restaurants in LA are going downhill when this is how customers are treated. Enough is enough.

I dined here earlier this month and we went for a friends birthday. Even though we had a reservation, we were missing one person so they asked that person must arrive in 15 mins to be seated. She did arrive on time and they still cancelled the reservation, they had to find us another table. We waited a few minutes and I had to ask 4 staff members if we can order some drinks and our meal. I went to this restaurant with a thought of a cute place for dinner for a group of girls. And yes it’s a really cute restaurant with a stunning inventory, and the food was really good and fresh. We went there because we thought the prices wouldn’t be too high. But i couldn’t be more wrong about everything. The service was totally not helpful and charged us 48$ for 6 bottles of water, even though we thought it was tap water and that it was free because nobody told us it’s not, you also can only split the bill 4 times, which is absolutely diabolical, because what do you mean that 3 more cards are gonna change something or what. Then you give us the wrong bill without the tip which you made us pay later, because we’re a “big group”, and the only thing that the waiters did was taking 10min to bring a bottle of water that we still had to pay for. Then at the end when we had everything sorted out you tell us that we can’t pay cash, which is even more absurd. Then you’re not able to help 7 girls that are just trying to get dinner on a sunday night without a million problems and spending all the money that they even have. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this, if you want to have a nice night out.

This restaurant is not safe for women!! I visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve (yesterday) to have dinner and drinks with two close friends. We are three young women from Denmark who were simply looking forward to a nice evening together. Unfortunately, the night turned into a very frightening experience. While at the bar, I suddenly became extremely unwell. I strongly believe my drink was spiked. This was my own glass of wine, which I had paid for myself and kept in my hand the entire time. I have never experienced anything like this before. I felt dizzy, completely lost control of my body, and my vision almost disappeared. I ended up hitting my head very hard in the restaurant’s bathroom and now have a visible mark on my head. I immediately reported what had happened to the staff (pretty sure he was the manager) and pointed out the man I believed was involved. The staff told me they were quite sure they knew who I was referring to. A short while later, it turned out that the same man was sitting in another bar area within the same restaurant. I informed a manager again, who said he would “see what he could do,” but nothing happened. There was no follow-up, no action taken, and the man was not asked to leave. The bartenders gave me some water, but beyond that, the situation was handled with a complete lack of seriousness and care. I was left feeling unsafe, ignored, and unsupported during a very vulnerable moment. It was especially disturbing to see that the person I reported remained in the venue for the rest of the evening. It also appeared that he was friends with some of the staff, possibly a regular, which may explain why nothing was done. I have previously worked in the restaurant industry, and if something like this had happened at any place I worked, it would have been treated with urgency and responsibility. That was not the case here. Whether due to personal connections or indifference, the lack of action was deeply unsettling. What should have been a joyful New Year’s Eve was ruined by fear and the feeling that our safety did not matter. I sincerely hope the management takes situations like this far more seriously in the future, because no guest should ever feel this unsafe — especially after reporting something this serious.

I wasn’t going to write this, but a friend asked me what I wanted for dinner and suggested Ysabel. That’s when I realized how upset I still was from my Friday night experience and she said I had to let someone know. This place was half empty, yet we were shoved in a back corner facing a wall like we were being punished. Our server was basically invisible. Our appetizers were tossed onto the table so aggressively the crudo nearly slid into my lap. (See photo.) No apology, no warmth, just complete disregard. The charcuterie board was bland and missing any texture, the vegetable risotto was flavorless and hidden under a mountain of pointless garnish. I even added truffle to it in hopes to garner more flavor. It was gross honestly. No one asked if we wanted dessert! They just silently dropped the check like they couldn’t get us out fast enough. Ysabel acts like it’s a hot LA spot, but this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years. Cold service, sloppy food, and zero hospitality. Totally not what you would expect for that price point AT ALL!
