Opinions de Prime Pizza West Los Angeles
So I ordered prime pizza tonight thinking that I had called the West Hollywood location. I called at 9:30 and arrived at 9:45. Comes to find out I called this location instead. The manager was kind enough to stay after hours and wait for my arrival. I arrived at 10:30…. 30 minutes after they closed. Not many places would do that. Kudos to the manager for going above and beyond for a hungry customer. Thank you sooooo much
Really great Sicilian style grandma pies with a friendly and pizza-centric staff. Their value is absolutely equal if not better than most of pizzerias in the area.
Excellent New York Thin Crust Pizza. If you like charred thin crust, this is your place. The crust is great and addicting. I'm not a Sicilian Pizza fan, but the Sicilian is great here and I would order it again. They have slices. I will order a fresh pie the next time I come here. Difficult to find thin crust pizza this good in all of California.
This is my new go to pizza spot. Not only is their food incredible, but the staff are amazing. When things get to a certain point, quality hits a ceiling (in a good way) these guys go a step above by having the best service of any pizza place I’ve been too. Second to none. Thank you Prime Pizza!!!!!
We were staying across the street and when we arrived late and needed a quick bite to eat, with their 24 hour service was a good option. First time here, the pancakes were great. Nowhere near a very painful candy, as I expected. The New York Cheesecake stack was amazing. America is going to make me fat. But happy!
My wife and I love the Sicilian square slices, it’s so flavorful for a pie with no meat. The crust is so crispy and the dough is so nice and spongy on the inside. Pesto and sauce also delicious. Give it a try :)
Great New york 🍕 Pizza one best Pies in.LA
This place is legit. The people giving bad reviews probably got their pizzas through Door Dash and their driver took forever. Pick this up on time and it’s some of the best pie in town. Pick it up or have it delivered 45 mins after it came out of the oven, probably not the best. I don’t have that problem, though. I live around the corner and am not lazy.
This pizza is off the hook. Flavor explosion. Had a slice of pepperoni. Cupped pepperoni with the good grease. Chewy crust with nice crisp and char. The grandma pizza was insane. Mouth bursting with ricotta. Decadent, flavorful. Just a pleasant experience overall. I'll definitely be back.
Stop by and grab a slide late at night - even a vegan option! They even tipped me off that one of the available pies was French not of the oven. Definitely a no-frills place (no bathroom). Easy to park and pop in. Some signage was difficult to read for someone on the shorter side. Service was somewhat slow considering there were multiple people working. Will go back!
Exactly what I was hoping to find when I moved here. The perfect NY style thin crust pizza. I stopped trying other spots as soon as I found Prime. Just wish there were smaller size pies than just the 18". I'm sometimes only ordering for myself and don't always want or need to take down an entire large pizza.
Just had a fresh out of the oven plain cheese pizza and it was spectacular, for sure top 3 in LA. Order well done if you want that crisp. Killer NY style pizza. Meatballs are epic as well, in a spicy (fra diavolo style) sauce.
One of my top 2 best pizza spots in LA!! Must try! I had been hearing about Prime Pizza for a while, one night me and my man were nearby and decided to give it a try and it was AMAZING experience.. that was a very special night and this pizza also did not disappoint! I got a few slices and we had it in the car it was so good I went back in and got more! The staff make sure you get the pizza hot and fresh outta oven, after I chose what I wanted they put the slice back in oven and give it to you crispy fresh and hot! The inside and decorations were pretty cool too. Overall a great experience
Not only is this the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had, it’s also the best pizza I’ve ever had, period. Also the staff is really nice & friendly.
Alright. Listen. I will never be able to write a review that is as good as what Prime Pizza deserves. Let me just put it this way, I have been to New York and Italy and Chicago for that matter and tried 101 Pizza Establishments in San Francisco. Prime Pizza has consistently been in contendership for the Best Los Angeles Pizza as far as I am concerned since at least 2016 and after all my scrutiny and intensity and fury as a Man of Pizza... Prime Pizza is the best New York Style Pizza Establishment in Los Angeles that started in Los Angeles. If you were to ask me on Death Row what my choice would be of PIzza as last meal and it had to be somewhere in Los Angeles... it would be from Prime. And that's all I have to say about that.
The place is incredible the pizza is delicious have alot of flavor tastes delicious and it was the first time visiting.. the employee and helpful 👌🏼 place clean
Massive, heavy, delicious pizzas from Prime Pizza. We ordered delivery a couple times from them. The delivery estimate was accurate and the pizzas arrived in good condition (not all squished to one side). One square pizza is easily enough for 2-3 people. The square pizzas are sort of Detroit style with crispy, cheesy crust.

Order delivery from this place occasionally and they have hands the best pizza in LA. The Sicilian square is phenomenal.
Don't know why this place only has a 4.3, though it is one of the best pizza joints on the west side if you're looking for NY-style pizza. Pepperoni - Pineapple please!
I usually order full pizzas from here, and they are always extremely consistent. My favorite is the Meat Lovers Square Pie and I get it double cut for easier sharing. I highly recommend the white pizza as well! Overall, everything I have ever gotten from here has hit the spot, circle pies, square pies, you name it I have even gotten the gluten free pies a few times just to try and they were surprisingly good as well, not as good as a normal slice, but very respectable taste + texture Also, it's been a long time since I've bought by the slice here, but I recall it not being as good as having a fresh, full pie, so don't let it deter you, and I would highly recommend ordering a full pie some time. A good example was the white slices were not great, but when I ordered the full white pizza, I thought all aspects of it were on point (sauce + dough + cheese) Any leftover slices re-heat very well in an air fryer as well
Pretty solid pizza, especially for the price. I got a slice of the Sicilian and one of the spicy pepperoni and I really enjoyed both for the flavor freshness quality ingredients and kind staff. You can’t really beat it for that price. I’ll definitely be back again.
Ordered delivery. This was our first pizza order since moving to LA from Chicago and I'm in love 😍 you can't find pizza like this in Chicago and it reminds me of NY Style pizza (maybe it is? I don't know too much about the company). But definitely will be ordering here from now on.
Officially my new favorite pizza joint in SM alongside SM Pizza Kitchen. Prompt service and consistent pies, highly recommended.
Very excellent square pizza. Prime is by far my favorite square pizza in all of Los Angeles. They’re round pies are good too but square pizzas are by far what make them stand out due to the bread
My whole family loves the rectangular, deep dish pizzas here! Perfect to bring home and eat while watching a Lakers game. Hint: get some extra because it reheats really well tomorrow.

The pizza is delicious here! We ordered the cheese and the mushroom pizza. They grill the mushrooms first, then put it on the pizza. The Buffalo wings are great too. Their square scicilian pizzas are delicious as well!
Would give 4 1/2 stars if could. Think maybe might be our new favorite pizza place. Nice size pie. A little expensive, but worth it. Crust very tasty. Sauce is great. Topping's are fresh and tasty.
Way over priced. Jokes on me for spending so much on two very thin, but large, crusted and light topping pizzas. It tastes good. Ordered the veggie and Hawaiian. The crust is soggy and flimsy. I’d maybe buy a slice here, but probably not a whole pie, unfortunately. Can’t justify spending soooo much when they hardly put anything on it. Smoking mirrors for what I got at least.
The spicy pepperoni square slice was absolutely incredible. The regular pepperoni slice was not good at all -- the pepperoni itself is very good but the dough and sauce not good. It's crazy the disparity between these two slices. Sicilian square and meat lovers is also delicious. Garlic knots are decent. The other reviews weren’t kidding about the service at this location. Inside my takeout bag labeled “Kory” was a box of wings labeled “Rebecca” so I got wings instead of the garlic knots I ordered :( Didn’t realize til I got home. The wings were okay, nothing special.
Not the greatest but it is the best pizza chain in LA. Consistent throughout the whole city and the service is good.
I love that Prime Pizza sells slices — it’s like speed dating for pizza. Try one, fall in love, move on to the next. I had the spicy pepperoni square slice — juicy, a little heat, very tasty. Staff were friendly, but it weirdly took about 10 minutes to reheat one slice... and no, the place wasn’t packed. Maybe the oven was on a break? This location’s in a tiny plaza with limited parking and only about 10 seats inside, so don’t show up with your extended family expecting a pizza party. Still, the slice was worth it. And now that I know there are other locations, I’ll be making the rounds, one slice at a time.

Great pizza but they charge $2 for a small side of ranch. What a joke
A solid slice of pizza, though I’m not sure if it lives up to all the social media hype. The pepperoni slice was good, albeit a bit average. The bottom had a nice crisp to it and it wasn’t greasy. I’m curious to try the spicy pepperoni slice and compare them. The Sicilian slice could’ve used a little more flavor in my opinion, but the overall flavor was good. I enjoyed the bread-y crust and the edge had a little crunch. I wish it came out a bit hotter too, as we dined in. Prices are very reasonable and I found the staff to be fine. No issues with our order and it came out in ~7 mins despite them being quite busy on a Friday night.

Went in and ordered a couple slices. Waited about 5 minutes while a few people who were already there got their slices. That's fine, they're a bit busy. Then another person comes in and orders a slice. A minute or two later they have their slice and I'm still waiting. Ask the person doing the slices where mine are, they try to have me place an order even though I've already done so. Then they look at their receipts and I guess find my missing order. Warm up my slices and I finally get them as the person who came in after me is almost done eating. No apology, seemed to kind of have an attitude that it was somehow my fault that they hadn't filled my order yet. Not the best experience. Definitely not the premium service that should come with the premium prices. I even left a tip before receiving service. Certainly won't be doing that again.

when i first moved to LA from brooklyn 3 years ago i thought this pizza was worth the price. but it seems like the quality and consistency of their food has completely tanked. its just not good. there aren't alot of great options for good pizza in West LA anymore. Honestly, I'd rather eat CPK than spend $40+ on branding and a cool website. bc thats what you're paying for. remove the website, the merch, the trendy collaborations and instagram pics and you're left with bland, overpriced, overhyped pizza. what a shame 😖
Don’t understand the hype. Even for LA standards, it’s avg at best. I’ve had various slice types from this location like 7 times of convenience because it’s local not because it’s good. The slices are way too salty. Like the salt is lathered to overcompensate poor quality, which is a very cheap thing to do. The ingredients and sauces are all subpar even for LA. The crisp of the square slices is a plus though. Vito’s is about a mile away and 100000x better than this.
I was pleasantly surprised when the pizza was delivered to me because the size was so big. Not so pleasant when I bit into it. It's mediocre and on the same level as pizza hut. At least pizza hut is cheaper. Garlic knots were mediocre too.
Normally love this place but my last order the crust was super burned on the bottom and pretty much inedible. Seemed like they hadnt cleaned their oven in a while or something. The spicy ranch was fire though.
I was very disappointed with my pizza. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza to go. They warned it up for me. When I got home to eat it. It was so hard like if it was yesterday's pizza not worth going there again.
Dave Portnoy recommended, I personally feel like they are just pumping out pizzas so quality has gone down. Mine basically had a ghost like under carriage. My child doesn't even want her second slice so that says a lot. Fire Pit or Vito's pizza in this area are better.
I went there for a break after driving 5 hrs straight. saw a video review of it and was excited to try it. Unfortunately after placing my order thre other people came after me and got there's before me. after I had been there already 20 min. afterwards I reminded the staff that I still hadn't gotten my order only for them to tell me someone else took it. Meaning someone had my order and not theirs. after that they finally made my order and the cheese slice was hot and fresh and great but the grandmas pepperoni was somehow cold even tho they just reheated it. Staff seemed lost and unsure of what exactly was going on. I probably won't come back to at least this location

I really love their pizza, but it is inconsistent. The staff here is horrible, they just don’t know what customer service is, especially the woman managing in the daytime. She clearly does not want to be there and it shows. The one other thing that I can’t figure out is the smell of this location. It smells like the cook heavy seafood in there, which is foul to me. Honestly it’s the smell that keeps me from coming back, not even the horrible customer service.
Their pizza is like chewing threw rubber, the customer service here is HORRIBLE, they obviously hire people blindly. I don’t know what’s worse, the service or the pizza. They fell off, or maybe it’s just the other locations that are good. Check out the photo of the way they pack their pizza they sell.

Received this awfully made pizza on Wednesday July 26 around 6pm and was given attitude by the tall African American manager when I politely asked for a refund. He was very disrespectful and never apologized even once.
