in this new economy this is one of the only spots it has food that is good combined with really reasonable pricing and if I walk in the service is always less than 10 minutes .

No complaints. This location in particular has been handy for grocery trips in the past as well as a few late night trips. The food is good, and you can't beat a taco from a franchise restaurant that's less than a dollar, man.

Every morning I get 3 soft chicken tacos no sauce. The girl at the drive thru is very friendly and pleasant. The tacos are on hit, very good for fast-food.

I'm a semi regular here, and the biggest issues I've ever had are either small or dealt with. They now remember napkins, and the occasional hard rice doesn't but me (I like the crunch once in a while). The staff, especially Tuesday-Friday, remember me enough that if I change my order, they notice. Sure, sometimes there's a line, but that's lunch rush. I've done fastfood and know how it gets, especially with that small of a parking lot. Considering I've been to other Del Tacos and someone confused a lime wedge (with skin!) with an avacado, this branch is just fine.

As always, Del Taco has proven that they can still have great quality food at a decent and affordable, even cheap, price. I highly recommend ordering from their value menu, as it has a lot of good food on it for very cheap. The fries are great, even for crinkle-cut, and they also serve a burger, called the Double Del Burger, that is very tasty for a Mexican food themed restaurant, and as a plus, it comes with bacon, if you want. but I fully recommend that you order their chicken soft tacos, as they are cheap, delicious, and the most prominently well-known item on their menu.

Love the 1$ drinks. Delicious great service friendly staff.

I've been here many times, and just realized that they've always been very friendly, and always get the order right. The employees deserve credit for that! And the prices are better than Taco Bell.

Del Taco in West Sac has become my go-to spot when I'm craving a fresh, crispy taco on a budget. For years, I was never really a fan of Del Taco, but I have to say - this location has completely changed my opinion. I’m not sure if Del Taco has stepped up their game across the board, or if this location just does it right, but either way, I’m hooked! I usually go for the classic Crunchy Del Tacos, and they never disappoint. The tacos are loaded with toppings - not just the meat, but also a generous amount of cheese and lettuce. It's the kind of taco that actually feels like it’s worth every penny. I also appreciate the variety of sauces they offer. I typically stick with the medium or hot spice-level, and they’re always generous with the sauce, which I love. It's nice to not have to ask for extra sauces like at other places. Ever since I heard of the Epic Fresh Guacamole Burrito, when I'm in a "burrito mood," this has become my new favorite. The chicken, guac, and all the other ingredients are so fresh and flavorful - it really lives up to the "fresh" part in its name. If you’re in the Sacramento area and looking for quick, fresh, and affordable food, I highly recommend hitting up this Del Taco. It's consistently great and has become my go-to for satisfying hunger cravings without breaking the bank.

Had to come try the beyond tacos and they didn't disappoint. Ordered for 3 people so the order took some time. Had to park in front and wait (to prevent slowing down their drive thru record) but I will definitely return. Staff was very helpful with subbing everything I ordered to the beyond meat.

Been going here for a while. Pretty good customer service and respectful employees. Food has always been good. The food has always been made right when I ordered it too so that’s good.

The food was great! The drive-thru line was really long though but I went through the line at like 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning so that's to be expected but it was really really long a long way but like I said the food was really good made it worth it!

Our visit here to Del Taco was good as usual thebfood was good but the fries you could tell weren't the freshest usuly they burn your mouth or they are over salted or perfect it's a flip of the coin. Good food, and unlike some of the other Del Tacos, they actually ARE open 24 hours as advertised. Just be aware that the oil is changed around 4 am and during that time they can't offer fried stuff.

There is usually a wait in drive thru around 10pm and until after 2am but just because there are great late night options. The staff is always hustling to do their best and in my experiences, always friendly and willing to accommodate requests as long as it's within their means.

I love, love the grilled chicken taco on a crispy corn shell, instead of lettuce I have cabbage and I add 2 medium packs of sauce. Another favorite way to have them is -- I order them without lettuce, take it home & pop them in my toaster oven then I add cabbage with medium sauce. Either way they are so yummy. Oh I almost forgot, I sometimes order fries, which are fantastic on their own, and also add two fries to my grilled chicken taco. That takes it to the next level of yummy goodness.

Tacos are shrinking,my last experience with my tacos ...the shell seems a lot smaller,all lettuce,skimpy on the meat. The quality of their food is really going down hill. Overall good service from employees,but their food definitely needs improvement.

Long line about 45 mins wait to get through the drive thru, lobby is closed. They prepare mobile/delivery orders and drive thru order. We sat at the window and waited for our order to be made while seeing 3 bags of mobile orders sitting under heat lamps. This place needs to re-think their execution to better utilize the drive thru. Also, I usually get Chilli cheese fries and the last 3 times they've served me fries that are burnt and dark brown. Unfortunately, I won't be getting those anymore and don't recommend anyone ordering fries. This used to be my favorite go to for fast food, guess the pandemic really impacted them.

Currently you go thru the drive tru to order they bring your food out to your car. Check to make sure it is right. I ordered a burrito combo and they forgot the burrito. Had to knock on door to get the burrito. Employee was not sure what to do about it. So she had to ask the shift manager what to do. Finally shift manager came to the door and asked what they forgot. I told him ,10 minutes he came back with my burrito said have a nice day and shut the door.

My experience at Del Taco is usually somewhat decent but definitely double check your order if your taking out, been a few times where I've gotten home and noticed it wasn't what i ordered.

Who said that del Taco had the best taco in the country? Not! The two chicken tacos I ordered today were skimpy and dry. Where is that fat taco we see in the ads. Not better than Taco Bell! The over cooked steak burrito my wife ordered was dry even with the guacamole. To make matters worse, there was no A/C on a 100+ day. This is our first trip to del Taco. It will be our last.

Fries where soggy..regretted going. Not b cause of Del Taco itself, it's because after drinking lots if green smoothies lately, that it made the fast food taste no good...no disrespect to Del Taco but it would of been the same review for any other fast food place i would of went to...sorry!

Charging $1 more to "go bold" (which added 4 French fries to my nachos) is ridiculous but delicious nonetheless.

We ate inside. My wife ordered the combo burrito, and it was room-temperature. She asked the manager if she could get a hot burrito, and they replaced hers right away and it was hot! I got a Del cheeseburger, and it is so much better than any burger that McD's makes. Mine comes with lettuce, tomato, 1000 island dressing for less than McD's! And we both love Del Taco's fries, they are the best.

Only fast food places that I've ever been where they make you pull around front after ordering and paying in drive thru every time. Not sure if they do this to improve their serving times or what. I would probably come here more often if I knew this wasn't the case....Staff is always friendly but their policy and proceeds needs to be fixed.

I opted for this over the other taco place across the street. I had the burger and it was good. This place is hit or miss. When it is good it is very good. I loved the bacon and egg tacos but they don't have them on their menu anymore. They were a hit. I'll be back soon.

They made a point to ask me which sauce packets I wanted, but failed to put any in either of the bags. I got back to the office and also found they hadn't given me any napkins. Other than that, it was good. The chicken soft tacos are pretty good.

I enjoy the food, but the workers quickly rush you out of the drive through and make you wait in the parking lot for your food (we were the only car in line). They never heard our order for a second drink, so we had to pay again to get one. Then they brought out the wrong burrito to the parking lot and we had to go back in to get it fixed. Once we left I opened my burrito and there was melted cheese and red sauce all over the wrapper and outside of the burrito. It was a mess and I couldn't eat it until we stopped the car and cleaned up first. Wish they'd spend a little more time on each order to make sure it's done well.

They have some good options, but ever since they got rid of their turkey meat option, it seems other aspects of their food quality has diminished. At this time they have funnel cake fries, which are actually very tasty, although be prepared for a lot of oil in the fries.

How is it that you can go in during one shift and get decent food and service to another shift and receive food not so fresh and decent service....that is always the case here. Unfortunately it is the luck of the dice on receiving what the company had envisioned. This last trip, 2 other competitors were dead thru drive thru and this one had 9 cars deep throughout my whole visit and still could have went somewhere else to receive better food quality. Lesson learned! One day West Sacramento will learn so they can make money. Also one word of advice, on a holiday like NYE you might want to ensure you have product like Chicken so the customers can spend their money on what they want

Went through the drive thru and ordered a jumbo shrimp taco which was okay, and a steak street taco that was just awful. I've had the street tacos before but never like this. The guy did happily refund my money.

I ordered through doordash today for breakfast and I think I got light case of food poisonings Nov. 15th 2021. Only think I had all day and my stomach first felt super bloated and finally got that to stop and now it's just painful. Haven't eaten anything else all day so it had to be them. Tried calling them to let them know and the phone never goes to some voice-mail. A little sad but based on my one and only experience I'm not surprised.

The food was tasting great until my husband had me watch the guy making the food. He washed down the refrigerators and counters, took money at the drive thru, and then started making someone's food, NEVER ONCE CHANGING HIS GLOVES. I stopped eating right away!

Really disappointed in this location. The wait was super long. The food was not good at all. I ordered chicken tacos and they gave me beef with barely any meat in them at all. Fries were soggy and lukewarm. Not coming back to this location. Cashier was kind but staff need to pay better attention to the order.

We had a big order of 24 chicken soft tacos and 12 regular hard tacos that cost $64 but there was barely any meat in all of the food. I counted about 3 to 4 little pieces of chicken and a barely any taco meat in the hard shell tacos. It was not worth it. Just saying...do better.

I come to your drive thru around 730ish when I come to your establishment, just to give you a reference point. The lady running the drive thru is extremely argumentative to say the least and should probably refresh her customer service skills. The food is great, but probably won't come to this Del Taco again because of her. I do enough arguing at work, don't want to continue after I'm off for the day.

Went here for lunch today 10/22/19 around 12:35. The guy on the inside register was on the phone complaining to his boss about an employee calling out or leaving not sure but he was not paying attention to the customers inside. I dont have much time for my lunch and was extremely disappointed with this experience. First, let me say, I love Del Taco. But this time was a big disappointment. I ordered two Del tacos and two bean burritos. One of my tacos had almost no filling. I wish I would have taken a picture. No meat, a sprinkle of cheese, some Lettuce and maybe 2 pieces of tomato. I thought I was at taco bell for a second.

I recently visited the Del Taco location on Harbor Blvd in West Sacramento, and unfortunately, my experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. While the toppings and presentation of the food looked appealing, I found the quality of the meat to be lacking. It had a distinctly fast-food taste, which wasn't to my liking. It felt more processed than I prefer, and ultimately detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. If you're looking for higher-quality meat in your tacos or burritos, this might not be the best choice. While the other elements of the food were decent, the subpar meat made it feel like just another fast-food experience, which is something I'm trying to avoid.

Went during my lunch hour on 6/8/23 between 11:35-1150. My fries was cold and employee at window service was alright. She could’ve been more welcoming and smile more. Ordered some nachos and 2 burritos, staff was friendly, they were talkative and everything was going so well. So I assumed they'd plug it up. But instead I got food poisoning.

Seemingly the cooks gloves were used possibly using the estriol. He was rubbing his face etc. looked sweaty! After ate food.,through was itchy and stared mild fever . Then I threw up! Nope! Never again. I threw my food out !

Not the Del Taco it used to be. Cold and unseasoned fries, soda was flat, not exaggerating here, the grilled chicken burritos literally had 2 pieces of dried out chicken on each of them. My son re-rolled the ingredients from 2 burritos and it did not even equal 1 small burrito. The staff appeared quite stoned, with one of the guys using his fingers to eat right out of the trays that he was scoping ingredients out of for paying customers. I'll try another location next time.

The worst del taco. Food is always cold, even though you waited 10 minutes even though you were the only car. I've asked for extra sauce in my food the last 3 visits and they put none whatsoever. There are times I've sat at the order box for 5 minutes before anyone says anything. Del taco is great but this location is terrible

If I could rate no stars I would. The food isn't the issue I'm having. The food is what can be expected. The service on other hand is what needs a lot of improvement. I used the drive through yesterday , and I was stunned! IT WAS HORRIBLE! The employee at the window handed me my beverages and asked me to pull around front. I was surprised because my order wasn't big. It took them 15 minutes to serve everyone else that was in the drive through behind me and then walked my order out to me. The food was cold and incomplete. The employee asked me at the window when I was getting my beverage what kind of sauce I wanted TWICE. The employee walked my order out and said "Did you want sauce?" The location has a lot of room for improvements. I won't be returning.

This is the worst Del Taco location. Orders are consistently wrong, the food quality is inconsistent hit and miss and the drive thru is a mess. Past four visits we were asked to park in the front and wait for order. Each time it was ten to fifteen minutes wait. Please get your act together DT West Sac - I don't want to go-to Alhambra for my burrito and fry fix.

The worst one. I work down the street and start early. Never open the dining roomon time and half the time they keep saying their systems are down and cant take your order. Or you'll order something and they're always cleaning the grill. You're 24hrs. Why not clean at like 3 am when there is no one out. Disappointed. My first time to this location, at other locations my order is correct, hot and tasty but not from this location. I ordered a taco with no lettuce or tomato but it had both on it and was not hot. The cheese on the cheddar quesadilla was not close to being melted and the fries were lukewarm. I threw most of it away. I won't be going to that location again.

If I were starving, I'd still not come here. Order inside and our food was cold. How does that happen? It took a lot longer than expected to get our order even though it wasn't busy. The manager had a poor attitude as well. One gentleman walked out due to the poor customer service. Go anywhere else.

After you order in drive thru they have park in front of the store, when nobody is waiting behind you. I watched them do it with every car while I was in the parking lot. I found out, they get better drive thru times when they do that. Even though you are still waiting for them to bring your food. And don’t ask for ketchup, if they forgot, you will have to go in to get it. What’s the purpose of the drive thru?!! I won’t be coming back to this place.

I waited for 4 minutes at the drive through intercom before anybody took my order, and then was told to park and wait for three minutes and my food would be brought out. It was more like 8-10 minutes. Total of fifteen minutes between placing order and receiving food

First of all, I will never go back this location. I went to the counter an I was informed it would just be a minute,(very nicely told) the next thing blew my mind. As I stood there I noticed a employee who was fixing the food wipe down the food making counter with his latex gloves twice while making the food. That's unsanitary in my book. I departed an won't be going back ever. I may be picky but isn't that what rags are for?!?!.....

If you gave me the ingredients needed to make my burrito and I randomly threw them at the wall blindfolded, I would make a better burrito than the cold, messed up trainwreck I found in my bag. Took almost 30 minutes just to get my order with only 2-3 cars in the drive through. I would've left but I was already boxed in. This Del Taco needs to pay their workers better and/or treat them right because the guy working the drive through tonight was about as enthusiastic as a corpse at a funeral, that being said this guy might be better off if you just take him out back and put him out of his misery altogether. Worst Del Taco I've ever been to and I have never felt the need to write a negative review but this Del Taco is THAT bad.

The food isn't the problem. I've gone here off and on for quite a few years now. They always have you pull out front to wait to get your meal and it will take an extra long time for them to do so. This is despite numerous staff changes over all this time. I think this is done to fool their monitoring system on how long cars are actually waiting for service in the drive thru. It's dishonest and inefficient. If a customer needs sauces or something else, they have to make a trip all the way back inside to get it for you, rather than just hand it through a window. I wonder if their owner is aware of their silly system?

Every time I've stopped by in the morning at 4:00 am to get hash browns, I am met with... "excuse me... Sorry.... Good morning I'm sorry, our system is down AND our grills are off, it's going to take a while to heat everything up." So what's the point of advertising "open 24" hours and paying people to be there when you can't take orders and make food?! Their staff always sounds like she's sleeping, when she finally gets her headset turned on. And as stated earlier, "....our system is down AND our grills are off, it's going to take a while to heat everything up." This is the worst Del Taco ever, yet it's the closest one to me during my 90 minute commute. You cannot leave a review without giving it a star, so annoying.

Harbor Blvd location. This place needs a complete over haul completely. Employees are extremely rude don't care about the customer or their job. I came here at 9:15 PM on a Sunday night . There was only 3 employee's working and 1 of them was new. The person in charge was on break. The girl taking orders was doing front counter and drive thru plus helping make the food. I waited 35 minutes for my food because they had to keep remaking. I had to return the product and get a refund the next day. It was still made wrong and half of it wasn't what I ordered. I can't believe the service here. This one needs to be over hauled also. There drive thru that night took over an hour to get 4 orders made with a line of cars still waiting to order.

Terrible customer service! Going through the drive thru they take forever and when you finally get your food, dude basically tosses the food at you and closes the window without saying A WORD. Would it kill you to tell someone “have a nice day” or at least let them know that’s everything and the order is complete? So unprofessional, do better.

Went tonight 8/16/2020. The cook station was an absolute disgrace. One clerk was walking around like no clue. When I worked in fast food, the main focus was keeping the prep station clean. Food was everywhere. The manager didn't care and the cashier, who should have been helping out the cook did nothing. I walked in with a big order and it sat while they were doing drive thru. They had 4 people!!!! Won't be going back to this location until they get their employees trained correctly. If I had been a "shopper", a person who works for the company, I would have given them a F.

Got food poisoning from the beef. Called the location to let them know about it and whoever answered the phone said that it wasn't our food because food poisoning takes 24-48 hours to set in, which is a lie. She also said that what ever you ate that day could have activated it. I let her know that not only me but my boyfriend also has it and their food was the only thing I ate all day. All I got was I'm sorry the food tempuare wasn't as expected. Food poisoning can happen immediately up to 8 hours. She straight up lied to my face. Reporting to the health department.

Ordered a taco and a combination burrito. The taco was mostly lettuce with a very small amount of cheese and a smear of beef. The burrito was equally as bad. It was mostly tortilla. We trashed them. This is the 2nd time we tried Del Taco and the 2nd time the food is completely garbage.

This is for the Folsom, Ca. Del Taco restaurant. Not the West Sacramento Del Taco. I don't know why it noted the West Sacramento store. No problem in West Sacramento, just the Folsom store. I can't correct by edit. Usually I stay away from reviewing fast food restaurants everything being equal, but I thought I should review and evaluate the Del taco in Folsom, ca. I had stopped here for a quick bite to eat after my shift at work. Fast convenient, usually good food for the price. I had ordered my food and was finishing my last bite, when two "eco lab" employees walked into the restaurant carrying full equipment packs. For those of you who don't know what "eco labs" do they are a pest abatement company, that specializes in infestations rodents or bugs. I was watching them and they asked for the manager/supervisor and walked into the kitchen area. They disappeared for over a half hour. I walked outside and was about to enter my work car, when I saw one of the eco lab employees walking around the perimeter of the restaurant. I made contact with the eco lab employee and asked what the problem was and whether I should be concerned. He noticed my government I.D. and provided an honest assessment of the problem. Bugs, he stated specifically a roach, ant and other vermin not noted. I asked, is it safe to eat here. It looks like you just sprayed and you have a two truck and two employee response. He stated, personally I wouldn't eat here for awhile. Hummmm. I just ate, the food was tasty, but that experience did not create the greatest confidence in the cleanliness of the Folsom store. I have not eaten there since.

On 12-7-23 at 8:55am i ordered the chicken strip and fries. The food was good, but the woman in the drive-through was very very rude. Rushed me on my order, and didn't tell me the price at the window. As soon as she handed me my food she slammed the window closed. What the heck did I do??? I just ordered some food. They need to stop having an attitude problem and just do the job of Customer service. We understand everyone has a bad day. But now this is just happening too often all the time. It was horrible ordered it for delivery because of the covid-19 I spent $106 I believefor the food to come back really nasty I tried to call them and they didn't answer I sent them an email I sent them a text I called them no answer that so I went to the help place where you can send in your complaint I did they said they were going to get back to me within 48 hours they never did and this happened about three weeks ago so basically I paid $106 for food that we could not eat it was cold nasty my my mom that is elderly and my daughter and my five grand kids did not eat dinner now the pictures I sent that was supposed to be chicken strips okay and fries it looks like a burnt stuff from the bottom of the fryer that's how the whole order was $106 for nothing and I still have not received a refund or anything
