I do not normally do this type of review, but this location is definitely getting an "A" for effort & potential. I was routinely getting terrible service from this location until I finally just gave up on it a few weeks ago after trying to resolve matters privately. BUT, I complained to the manager who explained he is new at this location and doing his best to turn this place around. He was honest about the issues. He was so incredibly nice and sincere that it is impossible to give up on them. I guess since he is a former firefighter from Baltimore County (did I get that right??), if he can rush into a burning building to save lives, he might actually be able to turn this place around. That said, I visited today for the first time since my encounter with him, and I was greeted in an unhurried manner by two different friendly people who gave me everything I ordered. Thank you! Now I want to rally behind them and encourage all to give them another chance.
First rate service and very friendly staff
Drive through is a pain in the butt. But overall it’s Starbucks so fast and good!
Update to this review: Since the incident below, they have improved and been consistent with great service including today. Clearly called my name for my order and very quick. The young lady who took my order was extremely helpful. Updating my service & overall score to a 5, thank you! This location is typically good, but the morning rush can provide varying experiences. This morning I walked in for a mobile order drink, but there were two women waiting in line standing ahead of me to place orders. I thought about ordering a breakfast item, but all 3 of us stood there without being greeted or acknowledged for 5 minutes. Eventually, one of the women stated, “this is the worst customer experience” & walked out a few minutes later. It creates an awkward atmosphere if you’re a regular at this location. The gentleman had his back to the counter the entire 5 minutes & was working on breakfast items. I understand his thought process, but during the morning rush, you’re going to have an endless number of breakfast items coming in. At some point, you have to turn around & greet the customers that have walked in & let them know that you’re occupied, but you’ll be with them momentarily. Finally the other woman begged for someone to take her order as she was on the way to take her husband to the hospital. He stated he was trying to move as fast as he could, and I don’t think anyone would’ve minded, but it was like we weren’t standing there. As an avid mobile app user, I know how many orders are coming in through the drive-thru & on the app while you’re standing in line waiting; 5 minutes is the difference between possibly an additional 10 to 20 minutes depending on the store volume. The baristas are typically friendly & upbeat, and they move as fast as they can. However, the customer service during the morning rush could be a better balancing act between staff & customer. Providing honest feedback because I know how hard these shifts can be, & no one intentionally did anything wrong, but there just wasn’t any communication.
I go to this Starbucks frequently for late night pick-me ups and the staff is always so friendly. The drinks are always great and the food is perfect. I unfortunately made an online order where the product was not available in store like the app had said. The staff were so wonderful about handling the situation. Highly recommend!

Usually go to the Starbucks on the other end of town since it opened. Came to this one today and when I went in to pick up my mobile order. Most of the lady’s were walking around like they weren’t sure what they were supposed to be doing. There was another lady there waiting for more time than I was. One of the employees was complaining loudly about getting a bad review because someone didn’t like their drink.
It’s nice they have a drive through but the double lane drive through is quite frustrating. There is no signage on how to use it, so every time I’m there, everyone stays in lane 1 on the left, and doesn’t let you merge from lane 2. There should be a sign to “please use both lanes” and “merge in alternating pattern” or something along those lines. I cannot complain otherwise about their drinks. The food however always seems to be out of stock nearly every time I go there. Particularly the vegetarian options such as the impossible breakfast sandwich.
I placed an order for a Grande PSL and a warmed crumb cake that my husband picked up for me since I am just out of the hospital. He came home with a 1/2 cup of PSL and cold crumb cake. The store is less than 5 minutes from my house and was the last pick up on his way home. He said the line was out to Rt140 and he could not park and go in so I am not so much concerned about the crumb cake but a half of cup of PSL is very disappointing to me for the price I paid. I will not be ordering from Starbucks on Baltimore Blvd in Westminster again. This is not the first time I have had issues with this Starbucks either, it just happened to be more convenient for my husband who doesn't even drink coffee, so I wanted to give them another chance. Very disappointing and at 10:30a this should not be an issue.
whenever i have a mobile order to pick up in the drive thru they always give me attitude. especially this one guy with brown hair and glasses who takes the orders has been rude to me and to my friend every time. we just picked up our drinks and said “hi we have mobile orders for (our names)” and he said “let me find it…so the first one you just placed that 3 minutes ago, and the second one you JUST placed so we aren’t done working on it. pull around” with such an attitude. mind you, we placed these more than 5 minutes ago and they said they were ready in the app. i don’t know why they always act so annoyed when we have mobile orders, cuz wouldn’t it take longer if we placed the order in the drive thru…
Walked in to get a black coffee and payed for it right away. Then waited for 20 minutes to get just a black coffee. This Was totally unacceptable and I will NEVER go back. I've noticed that Liberal based business quite often operate like this. The staffing was TOTALLY unorganized. I will NEVER be back.
The employees don't seem to care about the long waits And often gab amongst themselves while customers wait. The service is slow. The food selection is. Minor organis minor or non existent. And the atmosphere inside the restaurant is deplorable. About the only thing , the store is good for is a drive through. There are far superior starbucks locations in this is not one of them. Do yourself a favor and go to another location or buy coffee from another competitor.
I don't frequent this Starbucks often but this store is not run very efficiently. Even though it seems they have a large staff on shift. I waited forever to get my order not worth it.
Beyond mad. I placed a mobile order for in store pick up, drink was to be ready around 11:06. I stood there and waited as people came and went, never saw my drink come up. Almost 30 minutes went by so I finally nicely asked a worker if my drink would be up soon. The manager was nice but the lady making the drinks seemed to have an attitude problem. The manager made my drink, I didn’t notice until I left that it was made wrong, the customization I had did on my phone wasn’t reflected. I understand mistakes happen but I paid EXTRA for these upgrades and they weren’t reflected. I had an issue last time I got a drink earlier this week as well. Absolutely will not be returning to this location in the future and won’t miss the attitudes the workers seem to have.
Oh my goodness… I’ve been here before with perfectly average service. Today, brought my preorder back up to the counter because we ordered no whip, the sticker said no whip, I hate making an issue of it but we are lactose intolerant. I went up, set it down, the woman working the espresso machine set out a few orders refusing acknowledge me- nobody waiting in line just people waiting for orders. So I politely told her the problem and asked them to be remade. She gave me attitude, “yep” then asked someone else to do it - then they proceeded to talk back and forth about how much of a nightmare it is there. Not to mention it wasn’t ready when we first got there even though the app said it did. Look, I get most of us don’t want to work on Christmas Eve. I get we would all in theory love to protest corporate America for having these places open… or it’s just another day in the year and you make your own holiday magic or something…. But if you’re gonna be open, if you’re gonna work. Let’s at least not make everyone’s day worse, eh?
I went in today and they gave me my drink without ice. When I asked where the ice was the barista rudely shot back “no one brought me ice” the manger stepped in and got me ice for my drink but I think it’s ridiculous to serve a drink without ice. I also get the holidays are a stressful time for food service employees but there is no need to rude.
