Myself and three colleagues had an amazing meal together. We ordered salads and two wagyu tomahawks. The food was delicious and the service was equally great.

Grrat food and service

From the moment I parked my car in Westwood, New Jersey, this steakhouse delivered an exciting experience. I loved not having to deal with valet, the convenience set the tone right away. The restaurant is beautifully nestled in town, and as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with a vibrant atmosphere. The DJ was spinning great music, the ambiance was lively yet comfortable, and the lighting was perfectly set. The welcome was warm and inviting, and the service continued to impress throughout the evening. Once my order was taken, it became clear that quality and freshness are top priorities here, every flavor stood out from the first bite. DELICIOUS!!!! I started with the meatballs appetizer, which was honestly one of the best bites I’ve had. They practically melted in my mouth. For my main course, I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium rare, and it was prepared perfectly 💛 tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. I’m already looking forward to returning next month with a few bottles of wine to share with friends, since it’s BYOB. Absolutely loved this place! The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and clearly high quality—and the sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. You don’t often find a spot that does both steak and sushi this well. The atmosphere was stylish yet comfortable, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out in perfect timing. Morgan is definitely a go-to for a great night out or a special dinner. Can’t wait to come back!

Extensive menu, awesome food, warm welcoming host and staff and they cater to dietary restrictions. Just ask and they will do their best to make it work. BYOB for now. We brought a bottle of proseco and had the seafood combo platter with small plates to complement. A wide variety of offerings. All of which were fresh and cooked well.

We dropped in for an early dinner uncertain what to expect. The ambience is upscale meets southwest and is very lovely and comfortable. The menu is expansive with something for everyone. We started with the burrata and prosciutto salad, which was delicious! We also enjoyed wonderful roasted mushrooms with our entrees. The filet mignon and the sirloin were both quite generous, cooked expertly and delectable. This is a BYOB establishment which is a real money saver. I will be back soon and I recommend it without hesitation!

We used their party room to celebrate the life of my daughter who passed away one year ago. We used their tv to share pictures and videos and had pictures in frames on a table so we could honor her life and share memories. The staff was attentive, courteous and prompt. The food was fresh, delicious and absolutely worth every penny. Thank you so much for allowing us to honor our daughter and have you handle all the food while providing outstanding service! One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while! My whole table absolutely loved their meals. All of the staff was so kind and attentive & the owner Sherry came up to the table to check in on us. BYOB & top notch sushi/steaks/burgers!

Atmosphere and service is great. The food is also great. My wife got black Angus and she loved it. I got gnocchi pasta and it was very tasty. Left this place with the idea we would come back again.

I had an incredible experience at Morgan’s Steakhouse! I tried the grilled octopus, meatballs, filet mignon, and stuffed clams — every single dish was phenomenal, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. The fact that it’s BYOB makes it even better. The host was welcoming, kind, and attentive, which made us feel right at home. On top of that, the DJ set the perfect vibe with amazing music that elevated the whole night. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people — can’t wait to come back! Great great service!

Came here last night for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were a group of 9 people. It was a fantastic meal with great service throughout the night. Shout out to the manager Sherry for organizing the VIP room for us. Highly recommend this restaurant!

First time, great experience from start to finish. Food and service was excellent! We went with a few recommendations and was not disappointed in anything. Decor and atmosphere was unique. We will definitely be back. Hopefully the weather stays nice so we can enjoy the outside space along with the music. An added touch.

Celebrated a birthday at Morgans. It has recently opened and we picked it to give it a try.The ambiance was perfect and the staff was attentive. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were pampered. Our waiter Jordan was excellent, coordinating every course wonderfully. He made sure that all of our needs were met. The food was excellently prepared. The entire staff made it a perfect evening for our celebration. Thank You!

Let me start by how great this restaurant is that it’s a BYOB Steakhouse! The staff could not be more welcoming. Love the country decor. Food was absolutely amazing. From start to finish i give A+ for an amazing dinner. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I went to Morgan Steakhouse in Westwood, NJ. This recently opened restaurant is well worth checking out. We were greeted immediately and taken to our table. We were quickly greeted by the wait staff, given water and had our bottle of wine opened. I ordered the onion soup because, as far as I am concerned, that is the law at any good restaurant that offers it. The soup may have been the best I ever had. We ordered the wagyu steak, medium rare. We also ordered onion rings. Both were top notch and I appreciated that the waiter apologized for a too long wait for our food. He also asked to ensure that the steak was cooked to our liking. My only complaint was the upsell attempt - offering us multiple sauces. It sounded, the way he offered it, that is was free and not $9.00. Overall, the Morgan is on a par with the other best steak houses in the area and is far superior to places like Morton’s. While it is not in the same pantheon of a Peter Lugar’s, it is well worth it if you are in the area.

Great atmosphere! Amazing staff! They couldn’t do enough for us. Always kept the table clean. They even went and picked up our wine. The food was great from soup to dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

My favorite steakhouse and sushi bar! Ideal place to bring colleagues, friends, and family. The food is exquisite!! I highly recommend for steak and also sushi. The ceviche is delicious and the filet mignon.

Great NY Strip cooked perfectly! Its BYO so thankfully there is a liquor store across the street it would have been 5 stars. Beautifully decorated.

The service was great. Friendly staff. We sat outdoors and there was DJ playing dance/house remixes/pop music. However, they are figuring out who they are. Indoors was a complete different theme-Western decor and staff was also dressed in Western/cowboy theme. The food was good. We ordered a waygu roll, bison carpaccio, Tbone and porterhouse and sides. Dessert donuts were average.

My rating for this place is unfortunately only 2 stars. I went for a weekend dinner with my daughter, and we ordered two appetizers and a salad. The appetizers were okay, but the main course — the Tomahawk steak — was a complete disappointment. Despite the $180 price (plus tax and tips), more than half of the meat looked like it was missing when it arrived at the table, and it was served ice cold. They had only filled up the plate with side dishes, but even the presentation looked terrible. For the price we paid, the experience was far below our expectations.
