Love, love this restaurant. I checked it out on the recommendation of my youngest daughter. She generally provides good info on new places to eat. The decor while eclectic, is beautiful 😍 I felt very comfortable eating there. Also, the food is divine. I had the Eggs Benedict with smashed potatoes and honey bacon jam. 🥓 😋My food could have been a little warmer, however Finch will definitely be one of my go to restaurants in the near future.
Tried this place for date night. We started with the short rib fries as appetizers. This was ok. I would say the serving is small and the meat is a little on the bland side. Just ok. We ordered the tenderloin filet and the chicken Marsala. Both dishes were delicious! Meat cooked perfectly and not over-seasoned. The serving size was perfect. The chicken Marsala was huge and my husband needed a to go box. The ambiance was great as well. Staff is very friendly. We’re adding this place on the list to come back and try more items.
How did I not know about this fantastic restaurant?! We had four lunch appetizers: brussel sprouts, cheese curds, calamari and empanadas. On addition we ordered the turkey/apple sandwich with sweet potato gries. Each dish was substantial, prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. Our server was so gracious, knowledgeable and lovely. I cannot praise this place enough. Go!
I love the eclectic decor and setting. The book wall is so unique and creative. The seating area was so quaint. I was able to try the empanada's, the steak sandwich, the pastrami sandwich and the truffle fries. All of the food was wonderful. But I do recommend the stack sandwich and truffle fries over all! The mango iced tea was made fresh and refreshingly delicious. The service was absolutely perfect. Exactly how customer service should be in a restaurant. I highly recommend trying out this diamond of a place!!!
First time, seated quickly, thougb crowded, pretty good food, but a bit pricey. Pretty good service, our waitress got stuck at the register trying to figure something out and forgot all about us, but other servers helped us out. Overall alright, not comfy seating, probably won't go back.
Great menu with outstanding service. The Bar has an plethora of incredible specialty drinks to keep you coming back for more,as well as a nice wine and beer menu. This place is an absolute gem and would recommend it to anyone who wants a drink and an appetizer out on the patio,or a nice long meal with friends or family inside where the food and service are top notch. Highly recommend the BeeKeeper, for a cocktail and Frank the Dank for IPA lovers like me. The Burger,Caprese Panini chicken sandwich, and Thai Salad are some amazing choices! Want a simple appetizer instead? Calamari, and the Ahi Tostadas will keep you very happy! Whatever you choose,Finch is the perfect choice for your next outing with friends or family.
My boyfriend and I made reservations for dinner and we were both very satisfied with the experience! Our server was very friendly, the wine & drink list was wonderful, and the food was SO GOOD! We shared the buffalo cauliflower which was AMAZING. I don’t normally order steaks but was feeling like having one tonight and I’m so glad I did. Everything tasted so good and came out quickly. I really loved the decor and atmosphere as well. We’ll definitely be coming back.
TL;DR: Finch in Wildomar nails it every time—beautiful space, incredible food (the Brussels sprouts are a must), creative cocktails, and top-notch service. Great for brunch, birthdays, or when you want to impress. We came for Sunday brunch and left beyond satisfied. The Brussels sprout appetizer stole the show—it’s easily one of the best things on the menu. For entrées, I had the chilaquiles with short ribs (rich and delicious), my wife enjoyed the hearty Al Pastor hash, and my sister loved the steak and eggs. Drinks kept the vibe fun: half the table went for the $20 bottomless mimosas, I sipped a spicy Bloody Mary, and the Neon Cactus cocktail was another standout. Our server, Lauren, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience better. We were also celebrating a birthday, and Finch surprised us with a discounted molten lava cake, which was the perfect sweet ending. Finch has become one of my go-to brunch spots—stylish, reliable, and always a crowd-pleaser for both locals and out-of-town guests.
Hello Finch Wildomar! I loved going in yesterday for dinner. I reserved a table in OpenTable, got there early and got seated right away. My reservation was at 5:00pm, and I feel like that’s the perfect time to reserve because around 6:00 is when it gets full of people. The restaurant was clean, we sat in a back table that had pillows and a comfy bench, I was celebrating my 21st birthday and your server Alexis H was really sweet. We had three alcohol drinks, Neon Cactus with the lime, Honey and Gunpowder, and a seasonal draft beer. For appetizers, I have to say the Ahi Nachos were changed in presentation from last year. It had too much cream with chips and not enough ahi, it was still delicious. Our second appetizer was the Steak Flatbread and it’s quite spicy! It was so delicious, we took it home and ate it more. The appetizers did come out promptly, and Alexis always checked on us. For our main courses which are more on the expensive side, but you’re reasonable because it was phenomenal. We had the Halibut, Seared Scallops and the Shrimp Tagliatelle. I have to say that the Halibut was my dish and it was cooked to perfection, with the lentils is the best combination. I will come here again, and Thank you Finch for treating me so kindly.
My boyfriend and I went here for anniversary. I’ve been here once before and it was his first time. He ordered the ribeye and I got the finch dip. He loved the ribeye! He really enjoyed the flavor of the steak and the creamy sauce that he loved dipping the steak in! The potatoes were delicious too! My finch dip was tasty as well! The fries were perfect and there was a good amount of meat on the sandwich! The waitress was so friendly and helpful too! We will be back!
Great atmosphere, good food, nice service. Went on a Monday night and it was slow which was great for us (more attention and attentiveness haha.) Found Beef Wellington in the menu and so wanted to try it, but the menu said it was only served Fri-Sun and was so bummed. But I asked and pleaded (just a little) and to my surprise they were able to make it due to leftovers from the weekend!!! Yay it was amazing the most tender piece of beef I had ever tasted! Be warned though if you are not a mushroom fan then this is not the right fit for you! Everything we got tasted awesome, the server was amazing, and the atmosphere made you feel homey. Loved this place and recommended to try if your in the neighborhood for sure!
My husband and I finally got to step away from our 8 kids and have a lunch date at the The Finch. I first heard of this restaurant from my Father in Law that said it was really good. We literally have been living down the street for almost 5 years and I kept seeing it almost everyday. I am so glad we finally got a chance to visit this restaurant. It was such a cozy restaurant with its very unique look, all its own. The staff of ladies were great and always had smiles and extremely friendly, the food was so good! I got the panini, along with this sour drink (stay away from the salt on the rim if you want to keep your taste buds-sour) and my husband got the burger with a beer. I loved the way the menu was set up and it was so simple without a limit of food items and drinks. Most restaurants give you so many choices you get lost in the menu. Keeping it basic and simple, appetizers, salads, entrees….drinks on the back made it simple. There menu is a little pricey, but getting away with my husband is priceless. Having a great atmosphere is key. Thanks so much girls, we had a great time!
My friend and I came for brunch and were extremely pleased with every part of our experience! The decor and atmosphere of this place is so awesome, fun, unique, and very inviting and comfortable. A place I can totally see going to with friends, a date, and even with the family of all ages. Oh and the views are amazing, which you can also enjoy when sitting inside. And the important part of a restaurant review...the food and drinks were delicious! I can't wait to go back to try more. And they offer vegan options (not that I'm vegan), we had the vegan cinnamon sticky buns, so light and oh so good! The Bacon Bloody Mary...mmmm 😋 Now, a very important part of a restaurant is the service! Every single staff member was great! They were attentive, fun, and friendly, they really made us feel comfortable and added to our whole experience! I will definitely be going back. This is a little hidden gem in my city!
We’ve had brunch here before which was enjoyable and decided to come back on a date night for dinner. The empanada appetizer was hearty and delicious. For the main entree we got the burger and the salmon risotto. The bacon jam and avocado on the burger made for the perfect combo and the fries were amazing. Only complaint we had was that while the salmon entree / risotto was cooked well, it lacked any type of flavor aka very bland and could have used way more seasoning. We plan to be back to try more things and are happy to have such a great spot in Wildomar that is 5 mins from the house!
Our server was wonderful and our appetizer avocado toast w fig jam was DELISH! But all of our other food wasn’t great, the Brussels sprouts were greasy, the steak was mealy and a very poor quality, and the sandwich I ordered came out with Dijon even when I’d specifically asked for none. I go to the hot springs nearby often so will probably give them another try!
Mosr Brunch items are delicious. Drinks are quite tasty. Menu is innovative. Service was outstanding. The view and ambiance is perfect. I would recommend the blackberry Avocado toast .
Let me just start by saying the food was great. I enjoyed my meal very much but the price just does not match the portion of the food we are receiving. Especially for a sandwich & burger. Service was great they kept checking in on us constantly which I loved. The ambiance is great very chic & great for a fancy birthday lunch/dinner meet.
45 minute wait for lunch today, my first time here. We were a party of 3 arriving before a larger group and still had to wait for simple choices, and we had an appointment to get to. That disappointed. Pricey but appetizing and well presented. I ordered potstickers and only got 5 which I shared with my lunch partners, so I only got 3 and went away hungry. They were tasty though it was more of an appetizer than a meal. I’ll come back as I’m in the neighborhood but will select something more substantial.
Nothing to write home about. Margarita pizza taste like fish, Thai salad was mediocre, curry fried chicken, could get a better dish down the street half price. Maybe their brunch is good. But doubt it though, service is terrible, 25 to 30 minutes to see if everything is alright, drinks, etc. I wouldnt recommend it. Atmosphere is good, but the prices and food just doesnt add up, with sub par service. Its just plainly okay....
