I was very impressed today as I picked up a doordash order from here. When I arrived, there were another 5 dashers waiting on their orders. I was worried it would take a while to get the food. I was greeted almost right away from Stephanie, who was very enthusiastic and attentive! She immediately gave me the drinks that were ready and went to check on the food. After letting me know, it'd just be a few minutes. Her and Carlos helped the rest of the dashers get their food sorted correctly. She checked and helped get the food to me and even offered a cup holder and hand sanitizer I could take for the rest of my dashes. Very good job Stephanie, Carlos, and the rest of the Whataburger team working tonight! I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Very fresh food, awesome customer service! I hope to pick up from here again soon! 5/5 🌟

This location has always been fantastic to stop at. I've never had an issue and even after telling me one night there was a 20 minute wait, and I said I didn't mind, it ended up not being a long wait at all and I was out of there. Will always recommend this location to anyone

I love this Whataburger! I have an all around consistently good experience every time. The food is hot and delicious and the staff are always friendly in welcoming you. The manager has a wonderful team that works together and smoothly too. On top of the daily special or in app promos because they have a beginning shift "rally" and are told of the promos happening and encourage questions so that the wheel moves in a timely fashion and keeps customers like me coming back!

I’m from out of town and asked to try the Honey butter biscuit. Unfortunately, it was past breakfast time but let me say they made sure I got to try it. I’ve been working all night and I came into Whataburger at about 5:45 in the morning. The manager Jessica was so pleasant because I made an odd request. I wanted a breakfast bowl with chorizo and avocado and it felt like grandma was making it for me special because he said I can do that for you and you have a good day and then when she handed me the bag, she realized she didn’t put the avocado in there and ran back and got it. That is a good deal because she was looking out for me I would’ve been so disappointed without the avocado.. Jessica you did a great job. All I wanna know is how do you drive to work with those angel wings on your back? You are awesome. You made me very happy Patrick Johnston customer at the windows thank you very much.

What burgers is a Texas tradition. They have great food and a friendly staff. I am a fan of their spicy ketchup. The store is clean and welcoming. The old fashioned pictures of the history bring back a sense of its distinct Texas history.

Lupita, along with the entire staff at the Windcrest location, were awesome today. As I waited for my order, I had approximately 5 minutes or so to observe the staff in action. Everyone was professional and worked in tandem. That starts at the top. Had one of the best experience at a fast food establishment in a very long time. I live in the country so every fast food restaurant on here gets out pup cups not so much in town haha order 2 banana pudding shakes online Wichita to pull up on the outside line in drive-thru the lady that brought out our shakes not for sure if she was management or staff but my two dogs were expecting cups like usual barking carrying on I explained to her that they wanted their pup cups as I was fighting for my shake from my pups she told me to hold on that she could probably arrange for pup cups within seconds she was back out with two pup cups for my dogs. My dogs are so excited there was no barking just practically bouncing up and down they were happy pups Thank you so much to the lady that took care and great service to my pups.

This location has a new manager, Noel. He is one of the best managers I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with, and he really cares about his customers. We ordered a cranberry apple salad {forgot the dressing} a couple of spicy chicken sandwiches, onion rings, and an apple pie. I called the restaurant about the salad dressing and he asked me for my order number and my location. He delivered it straight to my house himself! Thank you again, Noel. My salad was delicious!!

Victoria is an amazing manager with superb customer service skills and a high level of tact, and business acumen. She was patient and kind, and took a moment to answer my questions regarding various steps and procedures in food prep, and sanitary protocols for Whataburger. Horrible visit today. I ordered through the app for curb side. I asked for no onions on my burger, there were onions on it! I asked for a root beer, I got coke instead. Does no one pay attention anymore? Absolutely crappy visit…will go to a different location next time. This is unacceptable.

I hope they were legit out of sweet tea and not just cause they didn't want to make it. Lots of staff. All in the kitchen. Was slow inside but all the tables were dirty. I had to tell them to clean them. Tall kid with the curly hair clearly didn't like dealing with customers. Don't know why I had to ask for ketchup but whatever. He did so I guess that counts. It took a minute to get acknowledged when I walked in. All that is whatever but the overall environment makes me want to take a further bus trip to a better location. I think the place needs a better manager. I think I saw that lady from my last disappointing visit. Were they actually out of tea on Sunday night?

I review any new place I go to! My family and I had took a trip to San Antonio from Houston and decided to take a quick stop at this precise Whataburger before heading back home. I had no problem with the quality of the food or the wait time. The only concern I had was with the cashier. Cashier was very sad looking and did not speak at all since entering the restaurant. While ordering I had asked her if a a specific item was still available and while waiting for an answer from her she was just looking at the screen and just shaked her head ‘No’. I’m after finalizing our order she softly mumbled our total amount. Being right in front of her I still was not able to hear a word she said. I used to work at the fast food industry before and understand it can get tiring working your shift but it is never ok to reflect it on the customers. After sitting down and enjoying our food a few minutes after, her friend came by and saw how smiled at her friend and immediately took her order so I realized she was able to talk (especially since I could hear her from my table) she just didn’t want to. She was like this with every other customer that walked in after me.

I swear. There's no saving Whataburger anymore. Fries are constantly cold no matter what, order is always wrong, service is always slow, people are always rushed. I don't know. I used to be a manager at in Whataburger and even then I knew they were going downhill. But this location really does take the Cake. There's literally always something wrong with my food. The only reason I go there is because it's close to my work. But even then when I have Whataburger, I feel like I've failed.

This location is just not good. We live around the corner, and every time we go there they get something wrong. The laziness, and lack of customer service is abysmal. Not sure how to say this, but the place is generally clean, service is a little above average for the most part, issue I constantly have is with online orders. You are given an estimated time but they don’t start your food until you actually show up. This causes a delay in ones day, if it’s supposed to be ready between these two times, don’t make people wait, it our own responsibility if we are late picking up the food. Revised: customer service beyond repairable without cooperate coming in and witnessing employee behavior

I order a lot from here and the smoothies are skimp and the burgers are SO sloppy literally for no reason. I get sweet and spicy and it’s ALWAYS SUPER messed up. Even regular burgers. I order online and they’re always on time but they NEVER COMEOUT WHEN I PICK THE DROP OFF PARKING SPOT. I ALWAYS have to walk inside and get it or whist 30mins for them to see it in the screen, it’s ridiculous. THE MONTERREY MELT WAS TERRIBLE FROM THIS LOCATION I’m going to the one south of Walzem from now on they’ve 90% of the time never done me right and I’m sick of it.

I ordered 2 burgers for curbside. Employee comes out with 2 of their largest drinks. I mentioned that I only ordered 2 burgers and she told me to keep the drinks. She also mentioned someone else had checked into my stall for curbside even though no one else was parked in curbside besides me. I waited 20 minutes and she never came back out with my food. I had to go in grab my food. This place is run by kids and no management. She never apologized but gave me a brownie. I really don’t care for free stuff(which I tossed), I just want what I originally ordered in a timely manner. Don’t bother emailing Dora Villa about complaints. They never reply, nor do they fix anything. Stay clear of this location. Update: This location is still trash. I ordered a patty melt meal on 11/4/24 for curbside pickup. My drink was supposed to be iced sweet tea. Instead I was given iced black coffee. Do they even sell black iced coffee? Of course I didn’t realize this until I was already home.

I was on a delivery and asked for a drink and I asked the manager for a courtesy drink small cup. For tge wait. I was only picking up 1 med French fry and medium drink took over five minutes and the was called in had to wait over 5 minutes. Iziah the manager denied the courtesy drink. The worst service. Until I walked to my car and felt my customers bag. The customer ordered online and requested extra ketchup and I only felt one. This location is a joke. Always a problem with the order or the people who take it/make it. Today I had the pleasure of being handed a drink carrier that was falling apart because the old woman handing it to us didn't bother to fix it. That was a little over half a dr. Pepper just spilt. And you cant say she didnt know because that carrier bottom was cold and falling after. She also mentioned she did not remember our pickup spot and after that just tossed everything in my husband's lap. I was really angry that he paid for something that came broken and spilled. Tried to brush it off. Cold fries and the "carmelized" onions being raw and crunchy didnt help any. I hate this location and I only come because it's close ans like the brand but the employees here do not care/dont need to be here apparently bc the quality sucks. To anyone considering going here, dont. And no the Austin location is no better. Probably an area problem. As someone who misses the old quality. Please fix this Whataburger.

This by far was the worst experience we've ever had at this location! We waited forever, were almost given the wrong order w the wrong name, then we get our order with old fries and old onions rings and the wrong burger on one order!! Then my husband calls, they ignore his first call and answer the second, guy on the phone tells him to go back so they can correct order. Manager gives attitude, they remake order, Manager throws burger in the bag and they forgot our onion rings. Also, we had 4 thawed raw fries in the new order of fries that were in the bag. Ridiculous!!!

45 min waiting for food in the dinning room there are exactly 4 tables. We decided to cash a receipt we had from last time they made us wait 45 min for our food at the drive through. Probably a norm now. Stay away. Other whatas are much quicker always a wait but not 45 min by the way. We don’t have our food yet 😕

Went for take out because drive through line was long no line inside food took 15 min to come out. Watched multiple get and eat their entire meal in the time it took me to get my one fast food burger will never be returning to this location.

We’ve tried so hard to give this place more than one chance, lol. Half a dozen times later.. they can’t remember the jalapeño ranch that I pay for EVERYYYY TIMEEEE (and I’m pregnant so it’s all I’ve been craving), my fiance ordered a cheeseburger that came without cheese (and it was in the yellow wrapper for CHEESEBURGERS), my daughter’s food has been cold 3 separate times. They ALWAYS forget my jalapeño ranch… I get that it’s fast food, but when people pay extra for things, yall can take 5 seconds to double check the orders. 👎 the only positive side was the sweet younger cashier girl who was trying to help despite the lousy cashier who wanted to just give us a slice of cheese on the side instead of remaking the (cold) cheeseless cheeseburger lol. The girl made them remake it, so shoutout to her.

lettuce is suppose to be abit crunchy not chewy, tomatoes are suppose to be juicy not slimy to the touch and fries not hard. DR pepper was good though. It was made right!...not by Whataburger they seem to have removed my picture... ill just put it back in case they remove it again, it looked disgusting. looked as if the burger was laid out in the hot sun for hours they keep deleting my photo lol. .

Very rude drive thru. Made me wait when there where no cars in sight at 4am. And when I kept saying hello, the girl was very rude, talked over me . Told manager and said he would talk to her but no sorry.

Management was rude when taking our order cut my wife off mid sentence didn't apologize. Then the food comes out cold like and slapped together like my 3 year old made it. Grilled cheese wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese. I can honestly say this is the very first time I've had a bad experience at a Whataburger.

Went thru drive-thru. The speaker was so loud it made me jump and literally hurt for about thirty minutes. I've been driving thru fast food drive thrus for over 50 years and this was the loudes speaker I've ever bee subjected to. There is a building off of which the speaker reverberates and magnifies it even more. Let the lady on the speaker and she said she couldn't control it. Told the lady who collected the money in the drive and she was clueless. Called customer complaint number and reported it--it was a third party company that took calls. Manager called me the next day and told me why the people I told the speaker about couldn't turn it down. He didn't really acknowledge that there was a problem with the speaker being too loud and offered me a dessert as a consolation prize for spending an hour of my time calling the store, the customer service number, talking to the manager, enduring the ear ache resulting from the blasting speaker, and being insulted that my time and discomfort could be erased in such a piddling, transactional manner. I didn't go through all that for me; I thought they would acknowledge that they would check into for the benefit of others. That would have been the compensation I was looking for. But the manager might as well have been a robot calling me with a pre-recorded message.

We already stopped coming on a regular basis because the consistency in the food has gone down so much since they moved from the other location in Walzem. Fries hard not full. Cashier lets me order whatachicken bites But ends up giving me chicken strips. No one said they don’t sell them anymore see that against shows you how long it’s been since I’ve been there. No gravy. Won’t return

I wented to Whataburger #315 on Sunday 8-10-25 at about 10:45 a.m. I was on Drive -thur for 20 minutes. Female cashier had an ATTITUDE problem. She overcharged me the pancakes were cold NOT even warm. Sausage was cold also also. This is THE WORST WHATABURGER IN SAN ANTONIO. I then call and the Manager and he hang up the phone on me. Says a lot about the crew.

Morning crew is so slow. Many times I ordered online before leaving my house to work, so when I get there hoping it should be ready. It's like 20 to 25 min drive and when I get there there's nobody ever in front then I ask for my order and I still have to wait because it's not ready. The last time I ordered through app , I selected to pick up through drive-thru, because that is a choice there and when I drove up they said I couldn't pick it up through drive-thru. I'm done with this place.

Since it is no longer family owned the service and quality has diminished significantly. Just ordered today and it took a while to get my children's food only for the burgers to barely warm and the cheese wasn't melted. Then one burger patty was falling a part. Who thought it was ok to serve this?? Absolutely ridiculous and very dissatisfied! If this is what Whataburger has been reduced to then I will no longer bring my business to them.

Was looking for a place to eat. I remember how poorly I was treated at the Pleasanton location and wasn't looking forward to eating here! Lucky for me, there was an In N Out right down the street to save the day! Great customer service and decent fast food!

I was ordering food and also picking up a DoorDash. The DoorDash was supposed to be ready at 2:21 AM. I placed my order at 2:25 AM for two grilled chicken patties. Yes I asked for them well done. I didn’t receive the DoorDash and my food till 2:50 AM. I’m sorry, but it does not take that long to give me grilled chicken well done. I ordered the same thing at a different Whataburger yesterday and they gave it to me in six minutes, I received the food before I received my DoorDash order. That’s how quick they were. Not this Whataburger. Very disappointed.

I recently visited this Whataburger location and had an interaction at the counter that I found concerning. While placing my order, I asked for jalapeños on my meal. The employee asked if I wanted them sliced or whole, but due to my partial hearing loss, I did not fully understand what was said. I politely responded by asking her to repeat herself so I could better understand the question. Instead of clarifying in a helpful manner, the employee (JUDY) the front person responded with a sarcastic remark about jalapeños being hot. This came across as dismissive and unprofessional. As someone with a hearing impairment, it is already challenging to navigate fast-paced ordering environments, and I would hope that staff would respond with patience and understanding when a customer asks for clarification. I believe it is important for businesses to provide training on how to appropriately communicate with individuals who may have disabilities, including hearing impairments. A simple moment of patience and respectful clarification can make a significant difference in ensuring all customers feel welcome and accommodated. I am sharing this feedback not only for myself, but for others who may not feel comfortable speaking up in similar situations. I hope this location can take steps toward improving customer service and accessibility awareness moving forward. Thank you.

Seriously, $7+ for a single breakfast sandwich? How do they stay in business. Who is eating here? I walked in, and saw those prices, and walked right back out. People who probably eat here are probably always complaining about how broke they are.

Came for nuggets, they don't have any nuggets, chicken sandwich was kinda tasteless. Order unsweet tea. Got sweet tea. Line is extremely slow. Especially the left line moves a lot slower than the right one. Can't recommend this location

Believe the 1 star reviews and stay away. In the drive thru they got both hamburgers wrong, the fries were cold and chewy, the sweet tea was unsweetened, and they didn't give us a single straw for our three drinks. This place is seriously incompetent and not deserving of your hard earned money.

Went through the drive through to get diner. First,coffee the server was rushing me to order and added a meal. When I drove up to the window I notified her that my order was wrong. She proceed to have an attitude not letting me explain what my order was. Fi al after some back and forth they forget to give me spicy ketchup, which I ordered. I stayed in the drive through, corrected them on this as well. The young lady at this point was rude and handed me 2. I asked for 2 more because there was 2 meals purchased. She gave me 2 more with an attitude. Man good help is hard to find! O. Top of this my burger bun soggy, like it was soaked in mop water! What a wate!

Avoid if possible. Came to dine in and part of our order was a plain and dry burger with no cheese. Received a burger with cheese. Let the front know right away they said they would fix it. Seems out of spite they gave us another with an absurd amount of mustard when we explained twice plain and dry. When replaced a second time (3rd burger), we received half a chewed up patty. I don’t understand how this even made it out of the line as one of the managers handed it to me. After requesting another burger ( 4th ) they finally made it correctly. From the moment we ordered ( 6:35 ) to the moment we received the correct burger for my daughter ( 7:05 ) it took exactly half an hour to get a burger and a bun. With as many people here this should not have been this difficult. The lack of attention is unbelievable. Avoid if possible.
