This place is awesome! I was. Coming into town late at night on Thanksgiving and it was great . Everything from the host to the kitchen staff were all very professional. And the food was A1 for sure ! They had our food done and ready to take out within 7 min . So I was very impressed all the way around. I will definitely will be spreading the word and ill definitely be back .

This was some of the best BBQ we have ever had! We got the 1.5lb meat platter for a family of 4 and everything was delicious!! We went at an “off-time” so it wasn’t busy and customer service was great! The girl at the counter explained the whole menu to us and was patient while we decided what to order.

Our meal at the Smoke House was fantastic! It was a win in every way – my wife had dry rubbed pork ribs, which were fantastic, I had the brisket and it was excellent. One of the sides we had were the baked beans which had jalapeño, and I’m not gonna lie, these are probably the best beans I’ve ever had in my life. I am really critical when it comes to smoked meat, I do a lot of things on my smoker at home and I am heavily invested in that. I’m telling you, highest compliments to these guys the food is amazing and they’re excellent what they do! The service was top notch!! Many thanks and much love!

Damn Good & Under-rated! This has made my -Top 3- barbecue joints of all time. I have traveled the U.S considerably (and Yes Texas), and surprisingly this place is amazing. All of their barbecue sauces are made in house. I had the Turkey Reuben.....dang ol' son

Stoped in here on our way to Tabernash and it absolutely hit the spot. Highly recommend the Brisket and Burnt ends. The sides were bangin as well. They have a small bar, indoor and outdoor seating depending on the time of year. 5 different BBQ sauces for you to work with.

The Smokehouse BBQ is a perennial favorite of mine whenever I visit Winter Park for the jazz festival each year. This cozy joint consistently delivers on its promise of mouthwatering barbecue that never disappoints. From the succulent ribs to the flavorful burnt ends, the tender pulled pork, and the perfectly smoked brisket, every meat dish is a testament to their skill and dedication to authentic barbecue. Accompanying these star attractions are sides that complement the meats well. The beans, with their rich, smoky flavor, and the greens, cooked just right, add depth to the meal. While everything hits the mark, I must admit that the Mac and cheese falls slightly short of my expectations. It's good, but not exceptional--perhaps a bit more seasoning or a creamier texture would elevate it. Overall, The Smokehouse BBQ remains a must-visit for me. The quality of their meats alone makes it worth the trip, and despite the minor quibble with the Mac and cheese, the overall experience is consistently delightful. It's proof that when it comes to barbecue, they certainly know what they're doing.

We stopped here before heading to Rocky Mountain National Park and really enjoyed the food. The burnt ends were amazing, and the chicken wings and spare ribs were very tasty. The BBQ sauces were on point, and the mac and cheese was also really good. Some of us tried the mojitos and they were refreshing. The only thing that fell short was the brisket. It was too dry and lacked flavor, which was disappointing compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it’s a great spot for BBQ with some standout dishes and a nice way to fuel up before exploring the park.

Shoulder season in this ski resort town, so no crowds! Funky choice of music... Food was as expected- barbeque style from a build-your-own menu.

The new ownership has carried on a tradition of quality BBQ at a fair price. Not sure that I like the order/ delivery system, but I guess I will get used to it.

Great selections of BBQ plates and sandwiches. Had a 2-meat plate with 2 sides, plenty of food and really good! Reasonable prices. Good selection of beverages. And the pickles...yum!!

My half pound pork barbecue was very large, not fatty, and tasted great. The onion straws were plentiful, but just average-not much flavor. It was my first and last visit. You walk in and order at a register. Then get a number and chose a table in the dining room. I paid upfront and included an 18% gratuity, which was completely unnecessary since the person who took our order just delivered the meal and did absolutely nothing else. You clear your own table. Package your own lefovers and get your own water. You pay extra for sides, so overall this visit was quite disappointing.

Nice place inside. They didn’t have everything on the menu and they ran out of one of the sauces. The food isn’t very smoky, not very barbecued (sauces on the tables) but their meats were tender and pretty juicy. The sauces were all original tasting and I liked the Texas hot sauce but it wasn’t very spicy. I recommend the Cubano or the brisket. The Mac and cheese was very generic; the Cole slaw was lightly mayo’ed but the beans were by far the best side we tried. Two people in our party said they didn’t like dinner; one person said it was amazing, and I thought it was pretty good.

I live in the area and have wanted to try smokehouse out. Went in to order and I'll be honest, it was a very odd process to order and to get your food. Sat down to eat and my first bite of the brisket sandwich was a let down. The brisket was cooked properly but it did not have an ounce of flavor. Not even a smoke hint to it. Which got me to thinking, I drive past smokehouse frequently enough and have never smelled smoke. Doesn't a meat smokehouse smell like smoke!? For being called a smokehouse and their collard greens tasting better then their meat, it was a let down for me. Grand County food has a lot left to be desired unfortunately. For 2 people and $60, I would say this is highly over priced for the area. Roadhouse on your way to Grand Lake is a win every time.

Not the best BBQ. Brisket was dry. Hot links were dry. Sauced were good. I really enjoyed the shoestring fries and corn on the cob. It was a chilly day and a lot of windows were open and we got cold as did our food. I did tip them prior to receiving our food and leaving and realized we had to bus our own table. Dry, dry, dry! Two of us each had the 2-2 platter with brisket/chicken thighs and brisket/turkey. Turkey: dry. Briskets: extremely dry. Chicken thighs: inedibly dry. I would bet all the money in my pockets that they were smoked at least the day before, if not earlier. This is the second straight time where the food was leftover and extremely dry; zero stars, I’m giving up on them. Another in our party liked their pulled pork sandwich: first star. Sides were fine, nothing better than you’d get from the Safeway deli. At least the sides are bigger than they were a couple years ago: second star.

We stopped by for lunch after tubing over in Fraser. When you walk in, you will order your food, and then it will be delivered to your table. At the table, they have an assortment of sauces to try. They were very heavy on the vinegar side, but a couple were pretty decent. I ordered the BBQ chicken as I don't like pork. The bread was perfectly toasted, but the chicken was pretty dry and hard. I'm glad I didn't break a tooth. The fries were pretty cold, I want to say maybe even half cooked. My friend ordered the mac and cheese with his sandwich, and he said the Mac and cheese was really good and the sandwich was OK. The sandwiches were super greasy. We had higher hopes for this place based on the reviews. We probably wouldn't return, sadly.

Make sure you have something to drink the pulled pork sandwich had maybe 4 OZ of meat and was very bland and dry. I couldn’t figure out what was worse trying to swallow the dry food with no flavor or adding the sauces that had terrible flavor. I’m from the south this place is a bad representation of BBQ
