Absolutely delicious! The Cairo Express is serving up some of the best Egyptian street food I’ve had in the US. The koshary is packed with flavor and super comforting, the chicken shawarma platter is juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the hawawshi has the perfect spicy kick. The side of hummus is also homemade and tastes so good. Everything is halal, fresh, and made with love, you can really taste the quality in every bite. Super friendly staff, great service, and food that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend stopping by and trying it all!

I had the pleasure of visiting The Cairo Express on their grand opening day, and I have to say — it was an amazing experience from start to finish! As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were kind, patient, and ready to explain the menu for anyone new to Egyptian street food. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a side of falafel, and everything was cooked perfectly! The spices were authentic, the bread was fresh, and the flavors took me straight back to the streets of Cairo. The free dessert was a lovely surprise — sweet, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal. The 20% grand opening discount was a great touch, and the food truck setup is clean, vibrant, and easy to find at 658 Wymore Rd in Winter Park. You can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do. This is more than just food — it’s culture, tradition, and passion served with every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back again and bringing my friends! Highly recommended!

This place was INSANE!! My husband was craving some Middle Eastern food and someone recommended Cairo Express. Everything we ordered was so good, so fresh, so hot, and they gave us huge portions. These people are truly authentic. We got the grape leaves, koshari, hawashi, and beef liver. Those are the best things on the menu. We can’t wait to go back.

My Egyptian husband I went to Cairo Express today and we ordered different dishes - koshari, hawashi, vine leaves and rice pudding. All of them were soooo good, especially the koshari was out of this world. The freshly made Hawashi was served hot with tahini sauce and I really liked the spiced meat taste and slightly crunch pita bread. The chef made all dishes upon our order so we had to wait a bit but the fresh taste made it worth it. It’s a food truck, run by a daughter and mother (mum is the chef). They were super nice and very friendly.

Very very good food, authentic, tasty, clean and generous portions. We had the Hwawshi, liver sandwich, koshari and mombar and everything was fresh and so good. The owner is a very nice person and super friendly, I definitely recommend this spot if you want a real taste of Egypt.

Everything on their menu is phenomenal, and you can taste that it's all freshly made to order. I recommend the Hawawshi and Shawarma platters and sandwiches —they are absolutely incredible. For my vegetarian friends, don't miss out on their fantastic falafels and hummus. And you simply cannot leave without trying the baklava, which is made fresh daily by the owner's mom! This food is AUTHENTIC. It’s seriously delicious, full of flavor, and a great price too. We got two wraps, an appetizer and a platter all for $40. Will definitely be back. The staff is also incredible, highly recommend if you want a quick bite that is incredibly satisfying!

This is my first time trying Egyptian food. I ordered the chicken shawarma and let me just say it was delicious. The chicken was flavorful. Went back and ordered the beef shawarma and my god it was really good. If I could eat this everyday I WOULD. Highly recommend The Cairo Express. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way.

The best and most authentic Egyptian food I’ve ever tasted. Everything is super fresh and made from scratch. The variety of choices will make you want to try them all but wish to have a larger stomach lol. Staff is super friendly, generous portions at an excellent price. Experience that is a true pleasure and very unexpected nearby. My wrap was delicious, made with obvious passion, pressed to crisp just the way I love it. If you are in Orlando, give this a try and you’ll be just like I am now, an addict lol.

Everything was phenomenal. I had been craving Koshari forever and it hit the spot. You could tell all the sides were hand made…grape leaves, hummus, one of the best baba ghanoush. Hawawshi was juicy!

I recently visited The Cairo Express in Winter park because of the 5 star reviews. This was my first time trying this type of food because I'm generally not very adventurous. The woman that was working was so sweet and helpful with ordering. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and my boyfriend got the grilled hawawshi. We got our food to go but ended up eating it in the car because it smelled so good and we were hungry (there is a table you can eat at in front but as this is a food truck I'd imagine most people take the food to go). Everything was absolutely delicious and I am so happy I was able to get out of my comfort zone to try something new. I ended up eating half my wrap there and the other half once I got home (like an hour and a half later) and it was still yummy. We will be back next time we are in Winter Park.

Wonderful halal food truck for a good lunch, dinner, even breaking fast during Ramadan It's a family business, therefore show them some love for their hard work, and good efforts 💪🏻 Love the experience. Came with 11 friends for iftar and we tried almost everything and all were excellent tasty food! Also, try their famous drink Fayrouz with pineapple flavor it's ak great combo with your food selection!

This place is fantastic and very friendly and helpful. I never thought I liked grape leaves but it turns out all the ones I tried before here were just bad. The grape leaves, falafel, koshari, hummus, fries, and baklava are all vegan 🌱 so rest easy if you have dietary restrictions or allergies to these things (just consider what has wheat, etc, depending on your needs). Highly recommend and I wish I knew this was here before, will be back especially because I'm a big fan of good falafel - but really EVERYTHING IS GOOD!
