Very busy but did a great job. I had a $100 bill to pay for my order, and the young lady at the cash register said we cant except that very nicely but offered to pay for it herself, I couldn't let her do it and got change but thought it was awesome of her to offer. Best smoothie I’ve had in a longggg time. I gave up on smoothie king bc the memorial location was trash! But tried it off Westheimer and the gentleman working the closing shift made my smoothie perfect!! With love. I asked for half a scoop of peanut butter and he did just that and all the measurements for this smoothie was perfect. Thank you for training the employees how to level out portions

I have been to several smoothie kings in Houston and this is by far the absolute best. It has a lot more flavor because they seem to add the correct amount of Flavorings and the others don’t seem to add as much. Ask for Kels. He is amazing and will certainly help you with anything you need. I won’t go to any others in the future Sharon

This Smoothie King is close to my gym so I come here all the time for a post workout drink. Athena makes every visit even better! She is always very kind and friendly, and greets everyone with a smile. Plus she told me about the military discount, which I really appreciate. The customer service here is great every time! Today, I experienced the best customer service I’ve ever received at a Smoothie King. All the associates were in a positive mood, friendly, and welcoming. If they had any issues, you couldn't tell. Every one of them was kind to me, from greeting me to assisting with my orders. I mistakenly placed an order for a different location, and they were all very patient with me. Athena, the manager, personally handled my refund request because the other location wasn't helpful and told me I'd need to contact customer service myself. After making 20 sales calls today, I wanted a pick-me-up, and Athena and her team were the kindest group of people I’ve met all week. I’ve been to plenty of Smoothie Kings, and they are not all as welcoming as this one. I will most definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

SHORT OVERVIEW: I ordered 2 large smoothies delivered with all kinds of add-in's and weird little customizations. I couldn't drink them now so I froze them. The next day I let some of it thaw and it smelled like old milk. I called to order 2 more and they offered to replace them even though this was my mistake! I didn't even have to pay for the one i changed the flavor for! The BEST place for your next smoothie and my forever home!!! SMOOTHIE KING!! Thank you!! Floridian who needed your sunshine!! **sorry for grammar mistakes, no time to proof*** I ordered 2 large smoothies with all kinds of add-in's and weird little customizations, 1 was the Perfect DUDE smoothie & the Custom DUDE cup. This is an excellent tasting Blue Spirulina smoothie just packed with flavor! The other one was the Pure Recharge® and I believe I chose the Banana. But I added the energy booster, the protein booster, more banana and more Blue Spirulina. I topped it off with ordering it delivered to an address hard to locate and had them come up to my floor! I figured it was gonna have some issues with the delivery, but NOPE It was perfect! It was even early! So I am little and never drink 1 full one so I put both in the freezer. Well I get them out to sa for 20 minutes max and when I opened them both they smelled like milk gone bad...I was so upset! I thought I was just "SOL' ed"! So I call to find out 😢WHAT I DID WRONG😢 Well and to reorder. This lady (i am so sorry I didn't get your name) answered and was the one same the one that made my order yesterday!! (yes, she remembered making smoothies for little ole me! ABSOLUTLY AWESOME!) She tells me that it could have been the Blue Spirulina or possibly the yogurt. So I was like "note to self "only order what I can drink in 1 setting & no Freezing" - As I had my inner monologue she literally comes out with "I can go ahead and remake them if you still want them"!! I never asked, never eluded to the idea & never ever would have expected it since it was my mistake! I was floored! I was stumbling all around my words and asked "you would really do that?" She was so sweet & i asked for only the energy add ins and offered to pay for the extras! I expected maybe at the end of the day or at least end of rush hour ... She said it will be ready in 2 minutes if you would like! That was it! I was in the office but I was so excited that I ran down. They were already done and she didn't charge me for the add ins at all! The really cool part is a customer was in the store and he grabbed my straws for me opened the door and wished me wonderful day! LOOK -> If your manager is awesome...employees are amazing and even your customers are great people to...you know you have a great business! I was back at the office in less than 20 minutes! This is my first experience at Smoothie King and now, this store specifically, is my FOREVER Home! I needed a little sunshine!! Thank you all for making my day brighter! 🌞Floridian Chick🌞

The manager Maggie is awesome!! This Smoothie King at 10560 Westheimer Rd is always on point. The store is clean, the team works fast, and they’re always friendly when I walk in. My smoothies come out fresh, consistent, and exactly how I order them every time. You can tell the staff really cares about customer service. This has definitely become my go-to location in Houston. Highly recommend stopping by!

I visited this location this morning and received outstanding customer service from Kells. I'm new to Smoothie King and changed my order he was very understanding and was just very professional and outgoing . I was greeted with a smile, my total experience was great. I was so pleased I had to personally give him a compliment. I will definitely be visiting this location again.

Lately the drive thru wait is way too long for a Smoothie (15-20 min). I am a frequent customer, please do not make me change my mind. That's what I posted some months ago. I love the ISLAND IMPACT Smoothie. It's literally a favorite. I always come to this location. I had 1 tiny hiccup with my order, and I kid you not, I was able to stop by the next day and they fixed it (they also gave me a bigger oz than my original 20oz) If I am not mistaken her name is Athena or as I like to say the young lady with the beautiful red hair!!!!!! She has such a good spirit, she's kind, and she always make me feel good in the morning on my way to work :) She needs a raise ASAP!!!
Sadly this brick and mortar has gone downhill. When they first opened, it was the fastest place to get your order. Now...20 minutes into waiting for my pre-order, 10 minutes past when they said they'd have it ready, is making me think about not picking up this order and burn the $30. It will be a while before I go back.
I started going to this location in July when I moved to the area and I stopped after my second visit because of the service . I decided to go back today and received 2 of the worst Hulk smoothies . There was no butter pecan at all which makes this drink worth it and the workers had no clue how to mix a drink. The issue here is the turnover rate. This location changes employees too much and continues to hire children.
Ordered a vegan nutty Super Grain and it tasted like milk and water no peanut butter taste or any taste what so ever. Will not go back there. Not a smoothie. 2 star since the young lady was friendly.
I had a terrible experience. I made my online order. I was told a time, arrived at said time, my order couldn't be found. I had proof of purchase and everything handy. Nothing helped to find my order. That annoys me because, my schedule was set. I ended up late because of this mishap. I gifted 2 stars because the attendant whipped up the order fairly quick. Shout-out to him. All of this took place on a Friday afternoon @12:30ish. This could be an isolated incident so bear that in mind. Ordering online should make things convenient, today was not the case.
Their smoothies and bowls are really good for which I would definitely give 5 start but why are they filling their bowls less and less. The first time it was filled almost to the top without the toppings or fruit, Second Time its was a bit less but whatever but now a third time and it's only filled half way. Literally $13 for a half filled bowl.
Majority of the time, they are taking forever. Especially when the guy with dreads is there. I came yesterday and had to leave the line because it was taking so long. But I came again today and he’s there and it’s taking forever.
Just left this location, not satisfied with the customer service given. It took 3 different people to take my order in the drive thru. When I finally approach the window, "Cam" just quotes 8.11, I asked how much it is before he repeated 8.11, I guess he was irritated because he finally took his hands out of his pockets to close the window to tell me someone else would be with me. Very rude experience and I will never frequent this location. #1728
Smoothies are good most of the time but the wait time takes way too long, sometimes you can wait up to 20 minutes in the drive through for 2 smoothies. I don’t think the staff have enough training.
I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and waited 6 or so minutes just to order. I called into the speaker twice and each time a female employee responded, the first time telling me to wait and the second time "You can order" in a rude tone. It sounded like she hated her job or just didn't want to be there at all. The name on the receipt said Emily A, but I can't be sure if it was her or not. I pulled up to the window and another worker handled my order. He was much friendlier than the other employee. The smoothie tasted fine. I would give 1 star if the gentleman at the window wasn't there to make up for the rudeness of the first employee.
The last two times I ordered via app and came through drive through to pick up. I only live about 10 min away but gave them 15 min but it wasn’t ready. I think one of the guys is new. He asked me several times for my name. Then a girl came and asked me my name. For some reason my one smoothie wasn’t ready. Two days later same guy was there and got my order all wrong. I usually ask for blueberries and peanut butter to be added which I did via the app. Neither were included even though I paid for them. I may need to change and go to the location on Memorial instead.
This is the slowest smoothie king in all the lands of smoothie king. The girl with her shirt tied at the back is slow af. It took them 15 minutes to make a drink with three cars in the line. Each car getting one drink 😅. I used to work at a smoothie king and their pace is just sub par. Be better. And they gave me a smoothie with a lid that has a whole in it. I literally pulled up expecting to be in and out of the line. Got there at 4:39 and didn’t leave until 4:56 😑
The worst location out of any that I’ve been to. I drink a lot a smoothie king. Whoever works here hates their job and could care less about if they get fired or not, which all of them absolutely should In the past week I’ve come three times, from the time that I give my order to the time that I grab my order it took 14 minutes, 11 minutes, 16 minutes. 16 minutes to go to 13 feet with two cars ahead of me. Whoever the franchisee is at this location needs to fire absolutely everybody inside
Long, long waits. They forget the size you ordered. You pay for add ons but they forget to add them. Worse of all, this location makes the blandest smoothies. The Smoothie King on i10&8 and Meyerland make far superior smoothies. Skip this one and get milkshake at Chick-fil-A instead.
Place has gotten worse recently. I wish they shut this location down so someone else can do it at the bare minimum standard at least. Long waits, no acknowledgement at the speakers, terrible service, employees goofing off. They are so lost they ask what you had after 15 minutes of waiting.
Order through the app for drive thru pick up. I though that was going to be the fastest. After waiting for my drink employee told me to park because it wasn’t ready and she will bring it to me one it was prepared … after waiting and waiting the drink never was brought to me.. I proceeded to go in to ask for my drink to find out my drink was just sitting there in the pickup trait for 10 mins.. RIDICULOUS. This happened 5/23/23 @ 7:20pm . I won’t be coming back to this location ever again. Girl with colored eyes was the one in the drive thru but overall poor team work.
Terrible service. 50 workers walking around and nobody sees the customer standing there to be waited on. Then once they do give you attention they don't even know what they're doing. Walking from the back eating brownies and making their own personal smoothie instead of helping the customer. This place needs work.
The smoothie does not look anything close close to what is pictured in the menu. Another smoothie king location does way better at giving the perfect blend of ingredients. At this location, they give a single ingredient with ice and calls it a smoothie. Does not taste or look anything what I expected. Find a better location, because these smoothies are awful.
I had the worst experience, incident happened around 6:14pm. Tell me why they took 17 minutes to make 2 small drinks? They even got my order wrong one of my drinks supposed to be a medium the lady never apologized for charging me a wrong size even tho she didn’t repeat my order and also never apologized for the waiting time I did in line. Never coming back. Y’all need to train your workers again.
Waited in the drive through over 10 minutes only to have my order pushed back due to them not knowing what it was in the first place. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Not to mention they did not once apologize sincerely. Tried reaching out to the manager and corporate office to complain numerous times, and report their workers inappropriate attitude/ unprofessionalism. But unfortunately I was never contacted by either the manager or corporate office. That was the first and last time I ever went to that smoothie king location. Go to the one off the 10 by memorial mall. Or the one near the galleria on Richmond.
Smoothie never ready at the pick up time. And they had the nerve to be standing there having a conversation while I’m standing there waiting on my order I put in 15+ minutes before hand.
I picked up the açaí bowl and the açaí was rock hard. I have been to several smoothie kings and never had a frozen bowl that you could not even put the spoon in it to eat.
Will not take orders over the phone. App does not work. App won't allow plastic cup and the Styrofoam cup is smaller. I just watched her pour it from the Styrofoam cup into the plastic cup leaving several inches at the top where the cup was not full. So, not only are they forcing you to gest a styrofoam cup that the straw goes right through the bottom of, but they are also stealing from every order through the app which is how they force you to order unless you go in in person. So no one that orders through the app is getting what they are paying for. Class action lawsuit?
To start off they tried to over charge me $19.00 for a smoothie bowl, then they got my order wrong… I had to come to the in the store to let them know they got my order wrong and they took 20mins to get me my smoothie bowl…. They hand me my smoothie bowl for the second time and it was still wrong. i see they just hire young teenagers that has an attitude and seem like they are just lazy.
I’ve never had a bad experience with smoothie king in the past 6 years until this location. The past 3 visits I’ve waited minimum 15 minutes in the drive-thru and been served grainy, sour smoothies. I always order the same thing with each visit but somehow my drink always taste like it’s missing vital ingredients. All three visits were on a slow weekday. I do not recommend this location.
I don't usually leave reviews unless places are deserving. And this place absolutely deserves 0 stars. I tried to enter the store an hr before closing but the door was locked. The "open" sign and all interior lights were still on. The two employees standing behind the counter made eye contact with me through the glass door and they just stood there. As I waited outside, I can see their heads processing how much work they can avoid by keeping me out. Finally they decided to walk to the back and hide. After leaving and waiting at the red traffic light, I saw another car pull into the parking lot and the same thing happened to them.
Pulled up to drive thru around 950 PM no one said anything I waited for 5 minutes then proceed to go to lobby door and it was locked. I called phone number the employee informed me that lobby was closed at 9PM and drive thru closed at 10 and she didn’t take my order I am so disappointed in this i won’t be returning to this locatin. If your hours states 10PM closed then why I couldn’t get my order taken and I was on the phone before 10PM all I wanted was a smoothie
Two items: 1. When paying at the drive-through, a tip was added to my order without my permission. When questioned about it, the manager proclaimed: “oh well, it was just a mistake“. not sure how you can choose a tip and then approve it, and then call it a mistake. I think there are other words for it. 2. According to the signage at the window, I am, as a smoothie king customer, apparently pretty low class. Please see the photo.
I went to purchase a PB Swizzle Bowl and paid for extra peanut butter, which came out to $14.27. When the employee gave me the bowl, i noticed i was not given extra peanut butter, it looked as if i paid for what would be the exact amount, i had to wait an additional 5 minutes for the employee to come back to the window since she walked off to help someone else i suppose, when i told her i paid for extra peanut butter she said “thats the amount of the extra” which is crazy to me. Instead of adding more her and her manager both gave me the same attitude instead of making customer happy. They act like it comes out their check, just add more thats it, instead i had to ask the manager again…. “are u going to add more peanut butter or not?” Instead of blaming it on “new employees without proper training” thats what she said, “maybe it was someone in the afternoon that gave u generous amount of peanut butter last time”
Smoothie king is usually a hit or miss experience, I travel all over the country for work and I couldnt help not realize how inconsistent the service and quality of the smoothies are. This store is by far one of the worst I have been to. I dont think the people working there understand anything about customer service or have gotten any training to be at a customer facing job let alone be making smoothies. I will not be visiting that branch again and I dont recommend it to anyone unless you want to mess up your mood.
I was going to order but when I came inside I heard a young lady being so loud,disrespectful, and rude to another employee (an older woman by the way!) that I changed my mind! If this type of behavior is aloud ( being so nasty to your own coworkers) I'm not comfortable with no one there to take my order! I might get cussed out too! Please work on the professionalism for the sake of your company! management do your job.
I’m trying to understand why when you go thru the drive thru it takes over 30 mins ? Both times I’ve been to this location we are sitting in our vehicles waiting on service for that long? It’s not food it’s a smoothie ? I’m calling corporate tomorrow! This is ridiculous get new management or a new team! As a franchise establishment you should be aware and ahead of the game.
The people there were very rude to me, I greeted and they looked at me badly, I ordered my smoothie online and I went to look for it after 20 minutes and it wasn't ready yet they didn't even look at me or make my smoothie until my husband told them that please where the smoothie was we had a long time waiting. I hope they change those people who work there.
So it’s kinda hard to give this review because outside of the disgusting smoothies I received the service was impeccable. Initially, I came here to this location because I figured this location would be better suited with making my customized smoothie that I normally get. When I am at work, I would order my custom smoothie, which is a 20 hours berry punch sub Pretty much everything for kale, mangoes and strawberries with electrolytes and coconut water and generally it is perfect when I am at work and it is made downtown. However, I decided to come see if my side of town could make a decent smoothie and of course they did not make it the way that I’m used to so I said you know what I’m not gonna even try to have them attempt to remake it. Let me just get a smoothie off the menu and get it the way that it comes. I ordered the chocolate lean One 20 ounce and when I tell you, it tasted like the same smoothie I just ordered just a hint of chocolate I don’t know what they are doing. I don’t know if they’re even looking at the recipes but knowing that I used to work at Smoothie King, and knowing that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to make a smoothie, this bothers me and I had to make a post immediately. Nice enough people but the smoothies are horrible.
