I’ve been visiting the Wylie location for years! Since the days of $1 breakfast tacos on Saturdays when High or East won their football games. While that tacos have gotten smaller and risen in price significantly over the years, the food, I still rave over. Monday and Thursday specials are my favorites. Which is what brought us in this week. Monday evening, boom boom enchiladas are my overall favorite! Two chicken enchiladas smothered in queso with cilantro on top with refried beans and spanish rice. The dish is already pretty spicy, but I request to add jalapeños and corn on the side for some extra kick and flavor. The cups of jalapeño ranch have also gotten a lot smaller, I just ask for more, and use it to dip the chips (free!) in or eat a couple of bites of my dinner with. I also like Thursday nights stacked avocado enchiladas. Good, but not as good as Mondays 🙂. They do get a bit busy, staff changes over the years, but overall, this remains a favorite go to for the whole family.

Great Tex-Mex restaurant! This place always has a line, but is worth the wait for the food. I ordered the hatch chile enchiladas and chicken fried avocado. The hatch chile is pretty mild, so if you like spice you'll need to add more spice yourself and the fried avocado is always cooked right. I'd definitely recommend this spot!

The food was great, the service was excellent and the take out was fast and very convenient. When I walked in, the order was already set on the pick up rack they provide and it was right by the entrance. It was convenient and fast. My only complaint is they should have separated the chips from the nachos and other fixins. The issue that gave me is by the time I arrived home, the chips were soft and soggy. I was at another Mexican restaurant another day to pick up my food and that's how they kept my chips crisp and crunchy. So my only suggestion to this location is to find a way to not get the chips get soggy.

Nice new place, plenty of parking. Friendly, knowledgable, helpful staff. Menu does not really tell you all the options. Salads, tacos, burritos, love the chips. Lots of very fresh options. Great tsste. Tends to have lots of spice. Can be a little too spicy.

Yum, yum, yum!!! Chiloso Mexican Bistro is delicious!!! The food is seriously good...tacos are amazing, salads are more than “salads”, queso is truly one of my all time favorites and so much more! Service is a little slow because their line is so long. My kids got pretty “squirrelly” while waiting in line but everyone was happy as soon as we started eating. They even generously brought us a full queso after they gave us the wrong side size. Stop by soon! You will be glad you did!

Honestly I just didn’t enjoy the food. The chicken was burnt and the cheese was salty. I asked for a refund and they honored it.

Since the beginning of time, we have purchased nachos with half beef, half chicken. There was never an up-charge until today. Apparently, HALF of a portion of beef is $3 extra!! This is on top of the recent, crazy price increases on most of their menu items. The thing is, when I told the employee I wanted half/half, I asked if there would be any extra charge, he said no. I go to pay and BAM, just under $18 friggin dollars for 1 order of fast food nachos. Gawd, I could have gone to a real restaurant for that. Never again...

Fresh, Fresh, FRESH! The food is so good and did I mention fresh? The meat options are well seasoned and the veggies and other ingredients are, well, fresh! You should enjoy every bite! Had a bad experience with another employee. Made me lower the service rating and dropped their overall rating too. Experience was so bad that I won't be back. Had to call and let the manager know. Sad thing about it is I really like their food, but their service was questionable even before the experience. But that's fine. I don't need help spending my money just to be treated unfair. SMH

Tonight we decided to give this place a try for take out after hearing positive feedback from friends. We did enjoy the flavours of the chicken Taquitos & Flautas. The rice and beans we didn’t care for that came with it. Rice seemed over cooked and not flavourful. Beans just aren’t our thing so we just tossed them after trying a bite, which was over done. Also we ordered a steak with onions & peppers for our son. He did not like the steak at all. I tried it and see why. It was way over seasoned, and chewy. Also it had mixed chicken in it. Which we only asked for steak. We also ordered a side queso, and guacamole. The queso was too spicy for my son, but I enjoyed the spice. I was just bummed on the size of a side for the price of $5.31. It was tiny! The guacamole was also tiny size, and priced at $5.62 with no flavour. It was just plain avocado. Our over all price for this order was $68.18. The price definitely doesn’t match the quality of taste.

Stay away. Dry food, not as good as it used to be. The GM needs an attitude adjustment along with the her entire team. The corp ops Mgr is aware of the consistent issues I've experienced at this location. Save your money go elsewhere. Quality Service and Taste have tanked these are non existent at the Wylie location

Everytime I come to this location it is filthy. The servers have food all over the place there was corn mixed with beans , tomatoes mixed with cheese , chicken mixed in with rice & beans and rice all over the place I mean it was absolutely disgusting. I have food allergies i asked the young man could he get me some fresh corn and after he was done he poured the new container of corn over the corn that had beans and cheese mixed in . I pray I don't have an allergic reaction to the food being mixed that I couldn't see. My family and I always go to the chilso in rockwall because they are so much cleaner . This is my 3rd time coming to this location because I was the car wash near by. I heard that the GM was there as me while my family was checking out. I couldn't believe it because it was so nasty in there. Please beware if u have food allergies. Its too many people that work there for the food area to look like that. I wanted to take pictures but it was a line . This happen on February 7,2026 @ 540pm.

The first time I came here it was o Good but this time my food was cold I live 4 minutes up the street I got a bowl and it all was cold. Disgusting . Im having a hard time finding eatable food in wylie it's not that hard it should be hot for 20 dollars a bowl

Food is delicious ive been to the richardson location prior i was in the area and decide to stop by this location when i first walked in I was pleased to the see this is a bigger place and it looks nicer i walked up and the older lady serving at the beginning looked at us like our presence bothered her i asked for a bowl amd the rice and bean portion she gave me was ridiculous then i went to ask for steak i got 2 small measure scoop i proceed to tell the young girl that was serving the topping and meat to add some extra steak she started scooping the older lady almost pushed her out of the way and yelling said "thats extra" i obviously know it is extra i dont mind paying extra for the meat but its very unpleasant the way she communicatwd there is ways to speak to people especially paying customers she could have said "of course ma'am just keep in mind that will be an extra cost" or just say "we do charge extra for meat" in than ptoceed to cashier it was young man he had no emotion judt charging i was like can i get some ranch and salsa like on the side he was obviously bothered by it and charged us our 25 dllr and not even give the chips nicely they just throw them on the counter i was like thank you no response no have a good one or enjoy you're team need some serious retraining it is very disappointing that we are paying customers and have to complain about basic customer service being polite and kind i will proceed to keep my business at the richardson location

I was so excited to see that chiloso's had an option to get the tortilla soup without chicken, I don't eat chicken, pork or beef, only fish, unfortunately I'd say 3 out of the 5 or 6 times I've ordered the soup (through GrubHub) I received my order prepared wrong. And tonight when I contacted GrubHub, they did give me a refund but in the process they cancelled my entire order, which caused the 2nd part of my GrubHub order from Subway to get cancelled in the process, so tonight, not only did I receive my food prepared incorrectly and I am not able to eat it, I also am not getting the sandwich that I ordered from Subway, all because someone didn't take the time to read the ticket order correctly, my entire dinner was cancelled and ruined, I hate leaving bad reviews, but after multiple bad experiences and being completely exhausted from having to constantly contact customer support because of my food not being prepared correctly, I decided to go ahead and leave feedback.

I went to this location on Labor Day afternoon. I went to order the Dip and the person immediately got an attitude. I made sure to say please and thank you to ease the tension. When she handed it over to the other server, I asked if I could get the guacamole on the side, she catches an attitude and walks off. She comes back after asking permission puts the guacamole in a container. I started to walk out at this point but I went on and finished and paid. Got it home and the chips were full of salt and the dip was full of grease. Never had that happen before. Most horrible experience ever. Super disappointed

Our first time at this establishment 3 people we get tacos and pay over 50.00. Sit down to eat and the chicken is cold so they give me cold tacos. A greasy bag of chips. Not at all worth a 50.00 ticket price. For a place like this you would think they could at least provide hot safe to eat at the correct temperature food. Now, let me add this as well. My mother in law was with us…she got 2 Corn tortillas with chicken and guacamole that is it. Her tacos were 9.90 each…the people who own this place charged more than we pay to eat at some of our finer places. I find this practice offensive and uncalled for. They are gouging the customer and giving us cooler cold chicken that the obviously pulled out of the cooler and simple dropped into the steam table. This is why our chicken was refrigerator cold and also why I had to eat elsewhere. Granted we arrived at the breakfast to lunch switch time but the very least they could do is make sure the food is being offered at the correct temperature. Everything I’m complaining about here could have been dealt with easily by any employee properly trained in food service. On the pricing however that is another issue pointing right at ownership and the obvious practice most businesses are adopting now as our food costs continue to be over inflated. Making it difficult for everyone. Something I find sad and somewhat abusive.

Tonight we ordered chiloso in Wylie through door dash and let me say it has been this way the last cpl of times as well; however, we keep giving them chances. Anyway, the food is not as we ordered. The quesadilla were burnt, dry, the rice is like mush and stuck together. We order everything on the side for nachos so it's not soggy well they gave us not even a 1/2 container of queso. Now let's talk about the Casablanca sauce. There were only 2 and we ordered extra for 3 meals. Chip bags are smaller now, which is ok but they barely cover the bottom. Come on chilosos you used to be our favorite place. Please see pics.
