Jarod was wonderful. We tried the order ahead app and didn't press the final SUBMIT ORDER button. I got there to pick up and the order was not even in the system. He came out to the car and finished it up for us and had our order made and delivered in 5 minutes. Very great service and with a smile!

Great customer service & timing! Arrived at this location already upset because I just left the Sachse Sonic after sitting for over 20 minutes waiting to order before I realized even though they were open in lights are on there was no employees inside the building or about delivering food and as I was leaving the Sachse Sonic I noticed one of their male employees walking from across the street from another business to the Sonic & inside the kitchen with several people waiting & wandering what was going on. But not only was the Wylie Sonic helpful, friendly, courteous, and efficient they actually rung my order up combining certain items into combos to save me money because I had a rather large order and they got it out quicker than I could have expected. Nowadays I considered it a rare thing for a fast food restaurant to get your order completely right especially if you're ordering more than one or two things and this Sonic got my order perfect the first time and the food was still very warm and fresh even when I got it home to my kids. Great job!

I normally hate coming here because of how slow the service is. However download the Sonic app order what you want before you get there pull into a stall and your order is available pretty quick. Not to mention if you download the app drinks are always half price not shakes and malts but regular drinks.and don't forget that bag of Sonic ice that everyone loves so much.

This place is consistently good! We get Sonic for dinner pretty often and I’d say we’ve only had old fries maybe one time in the years we’ve gone here. The shakes are always awesome, the food is always good, everything is always made well, and I’ve never come across a rude employee!

Kim is my favorite car hop. She is always so sweet when we go. You will see her run around like crazy and apologize if she feels it took too long. I love ordering when she is there. This last time, I ended up placing 2 mobile orders (gotta get them points lol) and she brought both to me. I tipped her both times, and she was so sweet she tried to tell me no the second time, but she is so worth it. She just brightens my day when she smiles and is friendly. They really need more people like her.

Generally there food is really good but sometimes it takes 30 minutes just for them to get to us and serve our food,there a good place I doth think they should add mo re benches and tables and stuff but it is what it is. And I do sit and eat but sometimes we just take it home and eat.

Drinks and food came out correct and promptly! Ryleigh was so sweet to bring our order to the car and chat with me for a few minutes before she headed to her next order! So thankful they are open late so I can grab food on the way home from a long day

Why even bother reviewing a Sonic, right? It’s not like they’re some charming mom-and-pop shop that could really wow you—they’re just everywhere. But hold that thought! The hot fudge sundae I received wasn't just slapped together; it was crafted with care, looking and tasting like something straight out of an ad, with a perfect drizzle of hot fudge, ample whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The chili cheese dogs were another hit—hot, loaded with all the right stuff: extra ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, chili, cheese, and tomato, making every bite a delight. The fries? Hot and fresh. The tea and other drinks? Just as satisfying. And let’s talk about the service—fast, friendly, and professional. Unlike some Sonic locations where you're left watching the "server is on the way" message fade into oblivion, this time the server actually showed up promptly and got everything right. So, despite being part of a big chain, this Sonic visit was a standout experience that deserves a shout-out!

I ordered sonic through the mobile app and when I picked it up, I didn’t realize one of my burgers was made incorrectly until I got home. I called up to the store and asked if I can get it remade and they were very polite and corrected their mistake and even gave me a coupon to ensure I’d be a return customer. Thanks sonic for making things right.

I travel so much for work, I stop at Sonic a lot so I can catch up on paperwork and grab a bite to eat while I do. This sonic is hands down one of the best sonics I've ever stopped at. And I've stopped at them a lot. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly the way I ordered it. The service was great and the area is beautiful. One of the best parts of Dallas if you ask me. Thank you for the great experience.

So, this place is always yummy BUUUUUT- They are having trouble getting/keeping employees so there's always a SUPER LONG wait, even when you order online, and sometimes they forget to give you things. I totally understand how the fast food industry works and i feel for them, so if you don't mind chillin in your car for a bit and your not in a hurry, you should visit them, otherwise go to the sonic in St.Paul that's right down the street!

Edit: The orders have been much more accurate but still very slow. If the speed up a bit, they will get 5 stars. *** Foods good. It's a bit slow at this location and you have to keep an eye on your order. About 1 out of 4 times, it's incorrect. But overall, I enjoy feeding my family here. Staff is always friendly and accommodating

This Sonic had the best tater tots I've ever eaten in my life. The service was really friendly but the only reason I graded the food low is because the breakfast toaster sandwich was so salty I had to throw it away. :-(

The service was great. Unfortunately they forgot to give us condiments. We had to ask for them.. we wished we checked to see if we had our sauce that we had pay for, for our tenders. We were home already by the time we saw we didn't have. Thats the only thing I recommend make sure u have your sauces and condiments before you leave. I have to say I got the chili tots and Unfortunately the chili didn't taste fresh at all.

I used the app to order a diet dp. There appeared to be issues with the system involved in arriving to pick up. We pulled into the first stall and the app did not accept my arrival. Moved to a other stall and I was able to submit the stall number successfully. The other person in my car was not successful. Our server was extremely friendly. I noticed my drink tasted like coke and our server was eager to correct. When she returned with my drink, she confirmed that I'm the first drink delivered was indeed diet coke. My friend's cherry limeade was delayed but eventually brought to the car.

While the food may be great, the service can sometimes be something to be desired. Even when placing mobile order, your order can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to be completed. However, I can overlook this area due to 50 ¢ corndogs.

Food is fine, but prices on the menu are much lower than what they are charging. Steer clear if you don't want to be surprised by the much higher prices. Also they don't bother giving napkins or cutlery anymore it seems. Might have been a one off thing, but all the other Sonics in the area always give both in the bags.

Food is OK. Deals on the app are great but the burgers are subpar. Their Achilles heel is their snails-pace service. Don't come here if you are on a schedule. But definitely get the app. The deals will keep you coming back.

Every time i go there I have to wait 10 minutes before they even talk my order And then there's another 20 minutes till you get your food.They used to be fast not anymore.Not impressed. Today I ordered a medium cheese tater tot and two strawberries shakes and it took 15 minutes

I used to work at Sonic, so I know they have a policy called: Out the Door in under 4. Where orders are expected to come out in under four minutes. In the past couple months, I've waited over 7 minutes for my orders (tracked by the songs I listen to while I wait). The quality of ice cream is honestly super lackluster and I used to love their cookie dough and M&M blasts. Now they have a bad taste and I avoid them. Their new crinkle fries are always over cooked anytime I get them and taste worse than the old ones. They are willing to redo something if you need to, but I end up being annoyed after I get my order every time. It's fine for quick food, but I wouldn't recommend the ice cream.

Bad bad expertise with"manager" then real manager. I had a discount but app gave an error message. It took 30 minutes and 2 phone calls to get them to honor it. I ended up talking to customer service who told me to use the website to order, which worked. They also confirmed what I knew, the store manager could have honored the visible discount seeing the visible error message. After I ordered and paid, the manager who refused to help handed me a "free" item. She said she called the owner who said to give it to me free. It shouldn't take all that. Plus, I explained it wasn't free because I paid on the web. She claimed she'd cancel the charge, though she didn't get my name or anything. Kudos to the owner but the manger and fake manager are bad reps for his business.

I came here and got the dark chocolate Oreo concrete custard and it was very light in color and watery when I said something to the lady when she brought it to me she said don't worry about the color it fast like dark chocolate. She didn't say anything about the how watery it is. I have gotten this multiple times and I have never once seen it like chocolate and watering.Here a picture of what I got and a pic of what the add shows it supposed to look like.

Been coming to this one for a longtime Customer service has definitely taken a dive. Can’t even finish an order without being interrupted. The person taking orders definitely needs to work on communication. It’s not always about the number of orders you get through, but it’s about order quantity and repeat customers too.

good food but they reset their timer like you already got your food but your still waiting its all about the numbers not customer service. Also when you order a blast it should be not just a topping on the blast it shouldn't be 3/4just vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of Resses Peanut Butter cup does anyone have any pride in their jobs And what they give the customer especially when there are only 3 cars on the whole lot????¿?

Horrible service. Every single time I go my order is missing. Something like straws/sauces/food items. When I call back and ask for them they say they will bring them but NEVER DO. This last time we dealt with an employee named Tate and waited 15 min after the food for missing sauces/straws and never got them. We called back twice to Tate and nothing. We ended up having to walk up to the door and ask for them from a different employee. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and it may be fast food but it’s still unacceptable for customers to ever be ignored.

Wait was very long for what I ordered. A coke, a shake, 3 piece cinnasnacks. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. They also forgot the frosting that normally comes with it, which happens everytime I order them here. I didn't tell anyone because it probably would've taken another 10-15 minutes just for that.

This location is slowwwwww. Every single time I come here they're backed up. The food is good but you guys need to be more time efficient. Last time the kid blamed the cook so who knows. Please work on your time management with the food. The customers should be in and out with in a certain amount of time. Other than that the carhops are friendly and the location is usually clean.

We just got 4 chocolate shakes from the Wylie Sonic and they tasted horrible! The ice cream tastes like it spoilt. Will not be getting any kind of ice cream from there ever again.

I’m not usually petty or upset about fast food, but the attention to detail at this location has fallen off hard. They often get orders wrong, and they do an awful job of mixing shakes. All the ingredients are left at the bottom or the top, so you have to mix it yourself.

I love making a mobile order only to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes watching it melt on the counter. When the car hop finally brought my order unpacked not in the drink carriers I requested, I mentioned that I had been sitting in the parking lot watching it melt on the counter and he offered two make everything fresh, so for that I give the service five stars because he made it right but I still sat in the parking lot for almost 30 minutes. Revised to add: the remade order was wrong.

Location closes at 11 pm on Thursday. Pulled in at 10:09 pm, hit the button multiple times over a 35 min time span. Employees refused to answer or take any orders. They just blatantly ignored every vehicle that pulled in. Pretty lazy behavior, no one wants to work anymore I guess.

Lexi store manager had an extremely rude attitude because we asked to buy an additional item to receive change back from a $100 bill, she stated she had already told me she didn’t had change when other enployee stated they had $80 change in pocket and lexi proceeded to tell other employee to throw away our food and walked away.

I don't know what has happened with this location. But after nearly 3 years of quality food and service, this place has severely gone down hill in the last few months. This will most likely be my last visit. Edit 3 months later This place has become awful. How hard is it to listen to what's said and put it in the computer or read from a screen to make it. Mustard means mustard. Not mayo and ketchup. This crew isn't worth minimum wage.

Horrible service. This is the 2nd time that we have gotten horrible service from this location. The guy totally cut us off once my husband ordered, didn't ask if we needed anything else - and we still had 2 more meals to order. We kept trying to get their attention to finish out our order... but, apparently they were too busy playing around inside to notice us waving our hands like mad people. We finally just left . I ordered five sonic blasts. Roughly 25 minutes after ordering, one of the staff members visits the vehicle to say that three of the blasts cannot be made due to missing ingredients. They offered to make something else. I declined and requested only the remaining two. After 5 more minutes of waiting, I ended up leaving with nothing. I had waited over 30 minutes and was already going to receive an incomplete order. The final straw was the person next to me receiving their order after having arrived more than 10-15 minutes after us. Once I saw that, I left and do not plan to return to this Sonic location. The slow speed is a recurring issue, but this was the worst experience yet.

I ordered my combo plus some an extra item. I was charged for my combo and extra item. When food was delivered I was missing an item from combo. After notifying the waitress that it was missing she informed that the extra was rang up as a substitute. I proceeded to read off the receipt that I was charged for combo and extra and was told she could ring me up for the missed item if I wanted them with the combo.

So I came by here today and order burgers but they sucked. The onion rings were delicious. There is this worker name Kim she is super gorgeous and polite with the prettiest eyes you'll ever see. Kim we thank you for your service. We'll come back for drinks only next time..

Beware using Sonic App!!! Preface to say, I have experienced issues using the Sonic app before and overlooked, but this was the last straw. 21:10 Pulled up to Sonic in Wylie, TX off of Williams, while placing order using the Sonic app. 21:11 Received email receipt. App said pick up by 21:19 21:17 App would not let us check in, used button to tell them we were there ****patiently wait**** 21:41 Confused about order then claimed it is about ready, but has not been brought out yet. 21:46 Order disappeared from the front of app and appears to have been delivered, but still no food. 21:47 Given indication that orders are not started until the person arrives. But we WERE here. On app, we used ASAP. AND the app said to pick up by 21:19!!!! 21:53 Claims it was given to someone else. Remaking. 2200 Closing time 2206 Received our meal! No drink carrier. Got home...no napkins. Missing an order of tots. Order placed at 06/07/22 9:11 PM SONIC Drive-In Location 501 N. Williams Wylie, TX 75098 972-442-014 Completed their survey and sent a note to corporate. Their response, "Please accept our sincere apologies for the less than desirable experience you received at Sonic Drive-In. We strive to provide exceptional service and take your feedback very seriously. We've added a reward for a free Rt44 or Slush and Medium fries or tots with purchase to your Sonic App account for the inconvenience." A free drink and tots? I was missing tots to begin with. So just a free drink..if I make an app purchase? No, thank you!

Purchased 30 slushies for my employees online for pickup at 1:30pm. I arrived on time to pick up the order. 25 minutes later now, I’m still waiting on them. What’s the point of setting a pick up time if you guys don’t even honor the pickup time?

I placed an order on the app and went to pick up order. I got there and entered stall number -then waited 20 mins and finally decided to push button and inquire on my order. I was told that they hadn't even start the order but it would be done in a few minutes. I waited another 20 minutes and inquired again. The order was still not even started so I asked them to cancel the order. However, the charges were processed on my credit card. Worst experience ever with as Sonic location. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Not enough Morning staff. The lady on the intercom gives attitude. The only server in the morning is drowning running to take everyone’s orders.This is the 3rd time my drink was not made correctly. Also, my order was brought to me incorrectly. I’m done with them. I’ll try Sachse’s or Murphy’s Sonic instead.

I had a horrible experience at the Wylie sonic today. The girl that took my order was rude and was laughing while taking my order. She made me repeat my order a couple times, saying she couldn’t hear me. She put in my order wrong, I pushed the button again to correct it. When she brought out my order but still wasn’t sure how many drinks I ordered. I paid with cash so I could tip and I was given back literally a bunch of ones crumpled together into a wad. The girl said “sorry” and smirked. One of the drink lids weren’t put on all the way and spilled all over my nephew who was holding the drink carrier. I can’t believe this is how they treat their customers. Pitiful.

You never get what you order. Order a kids drink with nerds and your charged for it and you get home and there's not one nerd in the drink. You order a kids meal and get no toy, when your kid is so excited to get a toy and to disappoint them because no one is trained right here. Food is some what warm when it finally comes out to you. This is the reason why no one want to come here to eat. This will be the reason why this place will close one day. The owner won't be able to keep there door open at this rate.

All I wanted was an all natural lemonade slush and the car hop girl was confused she just sat there. So I asked her is the all natural lemonade, slush not available or an option. Apparently that just confused her even more so I placed the order again for an ocean water slush she then she tells me she can’t hear me. So I yell out my order out of frustration. Then another gentleman that works for sonic comes to me and says that I don’t need to scream, they are just high school kids. I made 3 to 4 attempts to place an order for a slushy drink and apparently there is some kind of disconnect with the new hires. A route 44/drink is about as common or as easy as it gets, this must be my fault.

Honestly, Once AGAIN I mistakenly tried this location - last time was 2 years ago...left my reviews then as well. So, today fries were cold, I asked for no ice and of course there was ice! I noticed people actually give 4 stars when they have every reason to give NONE!! PLEASE people, do not over rate this SONIC!! They are awful! Go the extra mile to Sachse and get what you order without having to ask a second time or get home to find something missing - which ALSO happened today!!! Never again!! Oh and I SINCERELY believe with all my heart that anyone who gives this location a positive review of any kind, knows someone here or is related!!!

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal this evening. When I got home I discovered my order was incorrect. I went back to this location to get my order remade. The person I spoke with told me that next time I needed to check the order before I left and basically implied the error was my fault. I was never offered an apology for the inconvenience of having to come back. The customer service at this location is terrible. I do not plan on returning.

Tried to use my card on the machine and it wouldn't even register that I was putting my card in which my card always has issues with swiping since it has a chip. Explained it to the girl cause it's happened before she said no worries walks away while I start eating because I know I have money and my card words well she comes back 5 mins later saying it's still not working. I told her to try typing it in because my stripe of my card does work she then comes back asking for another card which I don't have and I stayed my card works she then proceeds to tell me she needs to take my food back? I offered to order it on the mobile app to pay for it and she looks at me and says no . So now it's my fault their machines aren't working and I try to find a solution and theirs is to take back my half eaten food ? I said here's the food back and I'll be make sure to leave a review about my horrible experience. Said I've lived in wylie my whole life and have grown up going here. Safe to say I'll never be back.

These things are just common sense. If someone orders a Chilli cheese coney don't I repeat don't put in in the bag standing up. Especially so the Chilli can run off into the bag. You can't train someone to have common sense.

Paid 7 bucks for mozzerella sticks that were half cooked and freezer burnt, sandwich was badly made dr.pepper tastes like crap and machine needs calibration. Another cheap buisness that used to be good in wylie deciding to cheap out and lo and behold no customers at the location.

slowest sonic i’ve ever been to over 25 min for a corn dog and a drink… mind you there was only like 3 cars. Saw trough window an employee with curly long hair smoking inside.

I ordered ONE drink on the app and when I arrived there were no more than 3-4 vehicles there. I waited at least 10 min when someone pulled in (and checked in) and got her order less than one minute after she arrived and I was still waiting on mine. I’ve had this issue at this location before and stopped going there but I thought I’d give them another try. This will be the last time I go there. I had rather drive out of my way to go to Sachse, Murphy or St Paul before I EVER go to Wylie again!!

Service was poor and we waited in line for 1+ hour. They missed our whole order. Their system was down! They said they had around 4 workers.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the absolute worst location. Food is never fresh but takes 45 minutes. Ordered just an iced tea one time and after waiting 12 minutes, decided to leave. They would rather make everyone wait because they want one car hop to take out multiple orders. Just Terrible. Don't waste your time or money and drive to Murphy or Sachse.

Very frustrated! Coming home late last night my wife and I stopped at Sonic for something to eat to bring home. We pulled into the stall pushed the button and waited. The screen acknowledged that we pushed the button and it said we would be answered shortly. It was busy, so we understood and waited for out turn. Well.... our turn never came. After waiting for a very long time, then I looked back at the board and they cancelled our call. Never asked for our order, never talked to us once, just cancelled us. Just before we drove away in frustration, to go somewhere where they actually served us, we saw the truck beside us, that came in after, us get their food. Like I said, very frustrating!

Not only have I not come back since my last post but what I saw today, 10/1/21, takes the cake with this sorry location. They are blocking off at least 8 spots with cones and employee vehicles, preventing possible customers and money from helping them out. Everyone is understaffed right now so that’s not even an excuse that we should accept. Don’t go here unless you don’t care about service, quality, or consistency. Worst sonic I have even been to. Luckily there are better options around this location like a Whataburger and Chik-fil-a, which I’m sure are also understaffed but not blocking anything off. Come on guys, get better.

OMG.. Went Wednesday 6-4-25, ordered a foot long chili cheese with mustard and onions, wish i would have taken a pic before I thru away. Very very little chili and the amount of mustard was stupid. couldn't even eat. That person had to know how much mustard they put on my chili dog but sent it out away... never will do that again. Plus it took 5 minutes before answering the buzzer, the guy ended up coming out to my truck. 30 bucks later at home I got garbage,

Crunchwrap 3dollars a piece...med tots chili and cheese...4 dollars.....not worth it! I given this location way to many chances.....never again! This time I got 13 chili&cheese tots for almost 5bucks! This location ALWAYS is cheap with chili and cheese...stay away from this Wylie sonic if your looking to get what u paid for. At other Sonic locations....their burritos are fuller and burgers are better. I know that I get what I paid for.

Check your food before leaving. Paid for additional items on my burger and it was not there. Sonic asked for a review and I gave them a review. They chose not to contact me to ask what happened. No refunds, no apology. Stay away from this location.

21 minutes waiting for 1 RT44 sweet tea? Nothing else. Just a drink. You should be ashamed. It’s off peak hours (10:05am) and only 5 stalls being occupied. I even tipped the change on the card so it was $4.00 for 1 DRINK! Embarrassing. Do better Sonic!

Absolute waste of time and money, 45 minutes sitting there after ordering online and being told my food is ready, to be brought the complete wrong order. Car hops came to our window 3 different times with other people's orders before that, one girl just passing coupons out to people instead of bringing orders or doing anything of use. If there is more than a couple cars already parked waiting, dont waste your time.

This location has really lowered food quality/quantity , ordered breakfast burritos for the family and all were so small, very little eggs & bacon, eating mostly a huge tortilla, avoid this location, looks like they’re cutting costs

Everytime I have come here for food or a drink they mess it up one way or another. Too little syrup to where it tastes like sparkling water and then too much syrup like you're drinking it out of the bottle. Came in one night for chedr peppers and some toffee bites with a drink and the bites were cold the drink was watered down and the chedr peppers were the only thing that came out fine if not cold after waiting 25mins for the order to come AFTER the screen said "On Its Way!"

they have a bad habit of not giving me chili on my CHILI and cheese tater tots; i didn’t ask for plain cheese tots. and it seems that they always tend to mess up on my order when it’s busy. i don’t want to pay for something i didn’t get. their service in this location is dissatisfactory, and they seem to have done this multiple times now.

Order a number 5 and a pretzel twist. Instead of a bacon burger I got a plain burger cold tots no pretzel twist, just the cheese. We've been here an hour and seen cars come and gone. Good luck getting a correct order, timely service and effort.

If this location had a half a star, I still wouldn't give it to them. My last six visits have been horrible. I order my food online and still have to wait about 15-20 minutes every time when I get here. And when I push the button for someone to respond to me, they never answer. They just ignore me. I don't know why I keep coming back to this sorry location. They didn't used to be like this.

It took 30 minutes to get a two drink and fries. I had to press call button and ask for order. It came right out with cold, soggy fries. Not sure what the wait or issue is. There are fully staffed.

Please be respectful to delivery drivers. You system is only supposed to call for a driver when the order is ready to be picked up. drivers having to wait half an hours means you are making the. Loose money because you have it call a driver when the order comes in. It's the same as your boss saying "Go work half an hour for free and we will not pay you". If there are to many orders turn deliveries off.

I have given this place the benefit of the doubt about a million times and I am finally done with that. Everything rises and falls on leadership and it's clear that the owner just doesn't care anymore about this place. It's always understaffed and nothing comes out in a timely manner. We have waited for 30+ minutes just for drinks before, then to have the drinks come out wrong. I am not one to leave single star reviews, but after having gone here more than 100 times. I can safely say this is a 1 star place. Avoid like the plague. Avoid the Sachse one as well. They are all terribly run by their owners. Not the employees. The employees are run ragged. EVERYTHING RISES SND FALLS ON LEADERSHIP. Don't come here. Don't waste your time or money.

I stopped going to the Sonic on the opposite end of 78. This one became a better option. No longer an option. Stopped by on Mother's Day to get a slushie after outing with the family and ordered... There was absolutely no one there. When the car hop came to the vehicle, she didn't even know what was ordered and had the wrong meal for one. Instead of giving us the correct meal, she went back inside with both orders after getting the correct order... she then comes back out a few minutes later to take our order again. WHAT? You were just outside and we told you twice. Are you high at work or something? So after her second attempt of confusion we just left. I don't want to eat food from someone who can barely remember an order. You probably forgot to wash your hands as well. I'm not sure if it was just pure laziness or incompetence... but the service here is a joke. How are you serving food with nails so long you can barely work the screen or do anything? Purely unhygienic.

I opened my lid to my drink when i got home because i noticed my drink didnt taste right, and i see that the foam cup is breaking apart everywhere into my drink. I managed to pick all the little beads out but since the cup was already damaged it just kept breaking apart more when i put the lid back on. So the fact that my order was wrong and the cup was literally falling apart into my drink and i couldve drank the styrofoam beads is very disappointing

Ok if you make a customer wait 20 minutes for their food why bring out cold and old fries? I do understand you guys were busy but if you’re that busy then shouldn’t the food be fresh and hot especially the FRIES! I asked the person bringing the food were the fries fresh she said yes but guess what they weren’t seems like they been sitting out waiting to be brought to the car hence 20 minutes if not longer! Then when I got home I said no onions but guess what onions and the burgers were cold! Poor Service! I paid 26.09 and that’s not good!
