Small cafe with good ambience, servers are really nice and charming, service is good and place is cozy. Good menu and the Irish coffee tastes good. Good for hangouts and meetings . Place is small but pretty, seats are limited and no outdoor seating still like it due to the taste, service and friendly staff.

Good experience. Didn’t try my go-to cap because they labeled it cap/latte and those are two different things. I frankly didn’t trust them to make me a proper cap (8oz with skill, not just foam piled on top). But I ordered a cold brew, black, and theirs is fantastic. My friend got a specialty latte and really enjoyed it The place looks great and has plenty of seating. I could definitely camp out here drinking cold brew all day.

Black Rock Coffee Bar has a solid menu and quick service, but the experience felt average this time. Drinks were decent, just not very memorable, and the atmosphere was okay but didn’t really stand out. It’s a convenient stop if you’re nearby, but there’s room to improve consistency and overall vibe.

People are so nice but they changed since opening. I used to get the bagel and it would be so toasted and FILLED to the brim with cream cheese. SO much it would fall out when you bite. It was the best. Today…. They gave me a soft bagel …and a cream cheese cup that felt like I was at a hotel …. Taking the cheap way out for the price you pay for the bagel.

Some employees are the nicest, while others are not attentive. I like Black rock. Coffee doesn’t taste burnt, their caramel Blondie is the best in the area, HOWEVER, if you have dietary restrictions or allergies - STAY AWAY. It’s a hit or miss with them. I once paid and asked for almond milk, only to find out they’ve given me whole milk. You can tell from the color and taste that it’s whole milk… I turn back around and tell them so they replace it… now it’s right. This issue happened a second time the other day, and that’s when I got upset (because mistakes happen, but when you spend 3 minutes talking to the lady about your order, and then pull up to the window, only to find someone different who doesn’t seem to have the order right, and hands you a drink without the milk you asked for, it becomes frustrating). I got whole, not almond milk, AGAIN. And with a newborn who’s lactose sensitive, the rest of my day did not go well. PLEASE, when we ask for something, pay attention. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt like employees are negligent and there’s a mistake in the process. Also, the bakery items are too sweet and that takes away from the flavor. The price is also higher for a less amount of coffee. But the quality compensates abit. I hate to give a not so great review but it happened several times. Also, tip is optional, please don’t hand us a tablet to answer a question. We do not have to tip if we are in a drive thru and ordered something simple through our car. We can ask to tip if we want to… I usually do tip, but not nice to feel forced. Ask for tip from dine in customers…

Honestly, the coffee is so good but the inconsistency with service is enough to make me not want to come back. Sometimes my coffee is made right and most of the time it's not. It's frustrating that I never know what I'm going to get. It seems as though the baristas need more consistent training on how to follow simple instructions and also correctly make the orders! It's not difficult, but the employees lack training that is for sure.

I came here the other day and I tried to get a hot peppermint bark and it was way too hot and there was 0 peppermint in it and i even asked for extra sweet but it wasnt. And when I brought to their attention they rudely dismissed me and I felt like they didn’t want me their even though ive been a loyal customer for years. And lilly was the one who had the worst attitude. I am never coming here again.

I’ve been a customer at this Black Rock for over two years, usually visiting couple times a week. Today’s service was very disappointing. I ordered my usual almond milk drink with *no foam* and *extra hot*, but it was half foam even after repeating my order. When I brought it up, the two baristas were dismissive and unprofessional, saying “that’s how we make it.” This has never happened before, but the attitude and lack of respect were surprising. I hope management addresses this with better customer service training I truly love Black Rock, but this visit was unacceptable.

We ordered 4 cups of coffee. The server was a young black girl. And she mixed up our orders. No apologies and nothing. We spent about $30 for four cups of coffee and no apology for your mistake? Very POOR customer service. DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK!!

Update: they gave me two free drinks to my rewards account instead of refunding my bagel. It’s whatever but because I can’t replace my breakfast, I don’t think it’s an appropriate solution and will not be going back at all. I do appreciate the promptness of response. I've been coming here regularly for a while but I think I'm going to go to North Garland. I typically get blue razz syrup and they frequently use red raspberry syrup, not that big of a deal but it's a consistent mistake. I get bagels often and they're really inconsistent with how much cream cheese they add and how long they toast it. This is the third time I've gotten this amount of cream cheese on my bagel. There's barely any to the point that it's pretty funny. I won't be back to this location. The bagel also was barely toasted. I was the only one in line, it wasn't even busy so I'm not sure what was going on.

Ordered a matcha with strawberry foam and this is what I got tasted so horrible and the color is insane. These girls don’t care about the drinks they’re making. I’ve been to different locations and it’s actually amazing NOT this one!
