Mr. Juvenal was a wonderful server. Never had to ask for coffee, he was always on top of it, gave me my order fast. He was always smiling and very kind to me and my wife. And you know the saying "happy wife, happy life". Thank you again Mr. Juvenal.

I just started coming here and have been quite a few times for dine in and take out. Both have been great. The service and food at this location is better than Ive experienced at any other Dennys. Keep up the good work.

Great place, clean, the place has good decore. The waiters were brothers on different days. The first one is very friendly, outgoing, and has great customer service. The second one is good, too.. Salmon is so tender. 55+ meau. I love this location in Yorba Linda/Richfield. Behind gas station.

I love this new Dennys!! It’s really a breath of fresh air in Yorba Linda and offers a great alternative! Besides that it’s open 24/7, which is really nice. Staff is great and the food is cooked right, there’s a shaded outdoor patio area very nicely done - I like the idea of coming to a great eatery and at the same time being able to relax with a little privacy on the patio, (the fully shaded patio, just take my time, slow it down a bit. Great job guys!!

Nayely is probably the best server that there is. I am part of a local Rotary club that meets there every Wednesday and she knows what everyone likes and how they like it. She is super friendly and nice. She is literally the best server.

My son and I went in for breakfast. Our server was Brandon. He was excellent, attentive, and efficient. He was also very friendly. The manager was great also. They treated us like VIPs!

Best Dennys I have ever been to. Yolanda is the reason we keep coming back she is the best. If she’s not working we will come back another day. She makes the Dennys feel like a second home, Dennys is lucky to have such a wonderful employee.

I haven’t been to Dennys in a long time. I got to say this location & their staff are all AMAZING!!!! We always sit on Cesar/Ceaser station, he is fast & super friendly. We are regulars there now, sometimes we forget to ask for “chiles toreados” and he automatically puts them in the order for us, without asking.!!! He knows us very well!!!!

Awesome service! We had our food at our table 10 mins after we sat down! Our server Juve made sure we had a great experience. He checked in with us numerous times and made sure our drinks were never empty. Hands down best Dennys I have ever been to!

Juve had amazing service and he showed he really cares about his guest’s.The food took no more than 7 minutes to come out. The pancakes were nice and fluffy.

Incredible service, attentive manager, great food. We were a party of 15 arriving unexpectedly at 9pm. They immediately seated us. Our server was friendly, helpful, and got our orders exactly right, which is almost impossible for such a large party. The manager checked on every table in the restaurant frequently and greeted customers. It is clear he cares very much about the restaurant. Great experience.

We've been to the new location in Yorba Linda several times. Food server Nayely has been our food server 2 times. We ask for her now. She is very personable and checks back with us a few minutes after serving our orders to make sure everything is OK and that we have what we want at the table.

The new Yorba Linda Denny’s is great! It starts with a nice welcome by the entry desk staff. Our server was friendly and happy to take our order. The menu and food did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and well organized. We hope they stay around a long time!

Server Juvi was professional, prompt, attentive and friendly. Made my mom a fresh pot of coffee and brought 2 small carafes to our table for self service. This is a great idea for time management and efficiency. He stopped by our table to ensure all was well. Every encounter at Denny’s has always been so pleasurable. Surprisingly enough Nayely has been our server on those occasions. She is so kind and sweet and always makes us feel so welcome! This is the best Denny's because of the many memories I have when our family would eat here when it was a Lamppost Pizza. The layout is the same but of course the food is breakfast fodder. It's evolved with me because now I can't eat pizza and they change their omelet plate to make it a Vegan plate and now I can eat here again with my family.

Had a very casual Friday night dinner tonight at Denny’s. The country fried steak was good, but the sirloin was a bit sinewy and chewy. However, our server was great, terrific with kids, and we all had a great time enjoying our neighborhood Denny’s. Overall a great dinner! I would come back for brunch and pancakes.

Went for breakfast this am. Vast menu makes it hard to decide. But placed my order. Afterwards also ordered a second to take home. This visit will not be my last. Clean ,modern and professional. For the past thirteen months, almost since it opened, my friend Helen and I have enjoyed becoming "Wednesday afternoon regulars" at the Denny's at 17568 Yorba Linda Boulevard in Yorba Linda, California. We love being able to get the same table and being served by our all-time favorite employee Victor. He is the best! Excellent customer service...always. If we went to Denny's and Victor wouldn't be there it would not be as much fun. He's become a huge part of enjoying our early dinner there. Thank you, Victor, for make me and Helen feel like we're in a "Denny's family" - and with excellent food too!

Great place to get breakfast. Javi was such a great waiter. We had our dog so we sat outside and he’d come and check on us frequently. Topped off our waters and gave us a carafe of coffee. This is my favorite Dennys to go to.

We had a group of people and were able to use the separate room which was perfect for us. The room is private and the service we got was excellent… As well as the great food. this Denny’s has a fantastic atmosphere… The open seating in the restaurant gives you a real American diner feel and this place is a must visit.

My family and I tried this Denny's location for the first time tonight. Absolutely wonderful experience. The design inside is so fun and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I didn't even need to ask for anything, they saw what was needed. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back. Brandon was our server and he was awesome. Theresa was the manager helping and she was the sweetest with my kids.

I also like the historical photos as they give a sense of what the city used to look like. Plenty of seating both indoor. I especially like the table style seating at the bar. A nice change from the typical Denny's bar seating. There is also a separate enclosed dining area one could use for a larger gathering. The large covered patio is a nice addition to those wanting to enjoy eating outside. Service was awesome. Our server Nayeli was very kind and attentive. I observed the cooks in the kitchen working as a team to deligently produce the orders. Food was delightful. It was presented quite nicely which is a rather nice change from typical diners that seem to throw all the food together. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this diner. I was told it is open 24hrs.

We go once a month with my girl friends to catch up and have a meal. We really enjoy the clean and mellow atmosphere. Parking is usually plentiful, service is excellent with Juvi - he is friendly, speedy and everywhere. Food is diner food and tasty with that understanding. they have specials and 55+ menu which is helpful and good deals.

First I must give the positives of today's experience. I was greeted and seated immediately. I asked for coffee and it was brewed fresh and I was informed in a pleasant manner that it would take a few mins. Cup of coffee and and personal pot delivered fresh and hot. Hot and fresh food as always. I didn't get her name,, but I was served by a friendly, efficient female server today. ****This Denny's is the best**** Just get rid of the sports on TV, because the movement can cause customers and maybe staff nausea and/or vertigo and the only people that I see watching is staff. Music should be low for customers so it's pleasant since most are older, and with hearing aids could make conversation difficult. I have noise cancellation ear buds and I can still hear the music clearer than the podcast I'm trying to listen to. I requested that the music be turned down and they did it. TV's - all TV's are on sports and I only see staff watching. Such a waste of electricity. Previous issues that have not been corrected or have been corrected and I appreciate the staff's efforts to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The whistling by staff is ongoing and annoying. This is not their home, or the streets, this is a public place, keep your noise to yourself otherwise your noise and music compete to be heard and that's unpleasant. I had a hamburger and fries and they were delivered freshly cooked and hot. The busboy table clearance was efficient but extremely noisy. When they seat you, the seating is such that it provides efficiency for the business, but leaves very little space for privacy even when there's only a few customers.. Oh, and they have music playing so loud that relaxing and having conversation with the older generation is impossible. Sports are on TV and the only people I see watching are the workers. With sports and the music symontaneously going it can seem like a competition of noise. Also, only male servers were present. But all in all it was a nice experience, and I will return. I occasionally dine at Denny's in Tustion, no TV's, and their spaghetti is drained properly so you taste the flavorful sauce, but this location, the noodles weren't drained properly so it was a watered down sauce. 11/04 - Separate visit. Arrived, and ordered coffee. Fresh coffee needed to be made so I waited until it was done, but it was 5pm. Fresh and hot is was! Then there was a shift change and I waited for someone to serve me another cup of coffee. I held my cup up for approx.15 mins. Then I walk up to the counter and wait. Then a server walked by and I asked if I could have a refill, and it was stated "I just got here and dumped out the coffee to make fresh, so you'll have to wait". I'm still waiting. Coffee arrived! And they brought me a personal size pot of coffee soooo fresh and hot! Thanks boys!!! If you are on a budget, please ask for the $10.00 menu because this location hasn't given to me unless I ask for it. Today, a rainy day, traveling from Choc's, home to Brea area, I stopped at my favorite Denny's. Hot, fresh, and beautifully assembled hamburger and fries. I don't know why anyone would not go here for a hamburger when we all know fast food hamburgers must be an emotional thing and not a food thang. Just go and check it out!!! Music kinda loud for a rainy comfort food day. Bring ear buds!!!

Updated 02/08/25: Juve's service was perfect. (He knew to bring us napkins before the food even got there!) The sausages were of poor quality and slightly underdone. (And are still not what they could be,) The French toast was (still) cooked perfectly. The hash browns were perfectly brown and crispy! The server, Juve, really did a great job; he might be a mind reader! We were seated quickly and had all of our requests swiftly satisfied.

If you want to place an online order or even call them to order take out, they either tell you kitchen closed or make you wait extremely long. I ordered a grand slam burrito around 12:30-12:45pm, get the estimate time to pick up at 1:07. They even emailed me to pick up my food. I came in store and waited for more than 20 minutes. How about fixing your app and let people know to come AT THE EXACT TIME FOOD IS READY?? i had to clock out lunch and wasted my lunch time to wait for the food that was stated “ready” and get hangry for this 🤦‍♀️ Update review: The manager called me 20 minutes later to explain their situation, during the weekend just give them 20-30 more minutes after the estimated time so I can pick up my food without waiting. The food was absolutely delicious, should have added more salsa on the side.

I like the neighborhood feel of this place, usually clean and comfortable environment - but otherwise a standard Denny's affair. This place is pretty understaffed but the staff are trying their best so be patient.

Continued issues: It appears that most times when I see issues, it could be due to lack of management presence to hold staff accountable to acceptable and unacceptable behaviors. Could it be that the lack of female employees? One male staff acts as if he's working on the streets, and customers must endure whatever behavior he throws our way because HE decides what the customer will experience. TV's: still unnecessary to include sound. Denny's is a diner and not a sports bar. At my last visit we were forced to listen to golf and it's almost non stop clapping. Of course HE tried to tell me that customers want to hear it. Again, not a sports bar! So there is noise fairness, I can assume that playing my music loudly would allow the whistlers to whistle, the sports sounds of clapping, and the diner music, all to be heard. I used to feel that this diner cared about it's customers, but now I'm starting to understand why most Denny's are closing their business. In all fairness to the remainder of the staff, I still stand behind the positoves of my past experiences. I was greeted and seated immediately. I asked for coffee and it was brewed fresh and I was informed in a pleasant manner that it would take a few mins. Cup of coffee and and personal pot delivered fresh and hot. Hot and fresh food as always. I didn't get her name,, but I was served by a friendly, efficient female server today. ****This WAS the best Denny's*** Music should be low for customers so it's pleasant since most are older, and with hearing aids could make conversation difficult. I have noise cancellation ear buds and I can still hear the music clearer than the podcast I'm trying to listen to. I requested that the music be turned down and they did it. TV's - all TV's are on sports and I only see staff watching. Such a waste of electricity and noise garbage. The whistling by staff is ongoing and annoying. This is not their home, or the streets, this is a public place supposedly serving customer keep your noise to yourself otherwise your noise, TV and music compete to be heard and that's unpleasant. I had a hamburger and fries and they were delivered freshly cooked and hot. The busboy table clearance was efficient but extremely noisy. When they seat you, the seating is such that it provides efficiency for the business, but leaves very little space for privacy even when there's only a few customers. I honestly feel they're doing better at the seating. Sports are on TV and the only people I see watching are the workers. With sports, music, and w symontaneously going it can seem like a competition of noise. Also, only male servers were present. But all in all it was a nice experience, and I will return. I occasionally dine at Denny's in Tustion, no TV's, and their spaghetti is drained properly so you taste the flavorful sauce, but this location, the noodles weren't drained properly so it was a watered down sauce. 11/04 - Separate visit. Arrived, and ordered coffee. Fresh coffee needed to be made so I waited until it was done, but it was 5pm. Fresh and hot is was! Then there was a shift change and I waited for someone to serve me another cup of coffee. I held my cup up for approx.15 mins. Then I walk up to the counter and wait. Then a server walked by and I asked if I could have a refill, and HE stated "I just got here and dumped out the coffee to make fresh, so you'll have to wait". I'm still waiting. Coffee arrived! And they brought me a personal size pot of coffee soooo fresh and hot! Thanks boys!!! If you are on a budget, please ask for the $10.00 menu because this location hasn't given to me unless I ask for it. Today, a rainy day, traveling from Choc's, home to Brea area, I stopped at my favorite Denny's. Hot, fresh, and beautifully assembled hamburger and fries. I don't know why anyone would not go here for a hamburger when we all know fast food hamburgers must be an emotional thing and not a food thang. Just go and check it out!!! Music kinda loud for a rainy comfort food day. Bring ear buds!!!

I like the neighborhood feel of this place, usually clean and comfortable environment - but otherwise a standard Denny's affair. This place is pretty understaffed but the staff are trying their best so be patient.

I’ll keep this short. I came in with my family since I had read that the new location is great including the service. This location fell short for two reasons: 1) it took awhile to get our food. 2) there was hair in my pancake. I tried to be discreet, by quietly letting our server know there was hair in my pancakes, and I showed him. He apologized. Unfortunately, I was 80% done with my meal before finding the hair, but no one likes pulling hair out of their mouth…especially when it isn’t our own. He apologized and I said it wasn’t a problem. I got the bill and my meal was still on there. I was disappointed nothing was done. Still paid full price. I would have accepted any form a remediation: comp my smoothie, have the manager come by and apologize, give me a voucher to come back in, or take off a few dollars for the inconvenience…anything. For that reason, I give this location 3 stars. Where so many take a less tactful route, I felt I should be respectful to not ruin the meals of the two tables around us. The great service broke down when I found hair in my lumberjack slam.

Kids eat free Mon-Fri so a good place for young kids, especially on those nights you just don't want to cook. Our grandkids love this place.

My meal included pancakes that quite frankly, weren't that good. The pancakes USED to be good but I don't know what happened (ingredients perhaps?). The prices for the (Slam) type meals are good but other things on the menu for breakfast is high. Service however is excellent.

Kids eat free Mon-Fri so a good place for young kids, especially on those nights you just don't want to cook. Our grandkids love this place.

Food and service are good but they aren’t consistent with charging you. One night the coffee is included with a value slam, other nights it isn’t. “Oh some servers don’t know” $4 difference in price, just an fyi fir value seekers.

Pancakes tasted like cardboard. Sausage links were the size of my pinky and the meat taste was questionable. Silverware was cheap and didn't seem that clean. Atmosphere is really nice and new though.

The manager is rude. The staff is so unprofessional and cussing because it was busy. The night crew don't know how to deal when its busy and get mad about it.

Come here to pickup a late-night snack, I see 2 old ladies. One is really nice, the another one is very grumpy. The grumpy one is very rude, unprofessional. She is yelling and even pushes drink at me. By the way, I didn’t beg you for free food! Very TERRIBLE! (if you want RUDEST service I recommend Denny at this location, special treat without ask)

About 30 minutes later 4 out of 5 plates were served. My grand daughter had to wait fifteen more minutes before the manger grabbed a plate ( that was sitting on the counter between the cooks and servers) and brought it to our table apologizing for our server making mistake with the order. Just as my grand daughter took a bite of a fry the manager came rushing back over saying it was the wrong plate. My grand daughter placed the half eaten fry back on the plate. We were in such disbelief watching what happened next, the manager handed the same plate (yes, with the half eaten fry ) to the waiter and told him to serve it to another customer in the other room. He did. Meanwhile my grand daughter placed daughter’s plate was delivered to our table. I called the manager over and stated that the situation was totally unacceptable. She blankly asked what? I said we waited for a child’s meal for 15 minutes after everyone else was served, When you did bring her a plate it was the wrong plate so it was taken back and when you took it back you sent it out to another table as it was with a half eaten fry on it. She claimed she had changed plates to a new one. I told her she was a liar we watched exactly what she did. No new plate! She offered a desert to my grand daughter. Wow! Health department hello. I’m sorry that situation makes me wonder if the manager is pulling that what else does she do? I won’t be eating there till they get a new manager.
