Fabulous! Excellent entertainment! Great food! Great service!!
Amazing food, attentive staff, great ambience. A place like this is Whats needed in the area.
For our appetizers, we had the buffalo shrimp, crab cake and calamari. For our entries we had the burgers, steak and salmon dishes. We ended with cappuccinos, carrot cake, cheesecake and creme brulee. Aside from the hamburgers being tiny and the steak being marketed as for two but is absolutely not for two (only for one by anyone’s standards, which was a real disappointment) every single dish was made to literal perfection. Every single dish was melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned👌 The service and ambiance was of a beautiful bygone era. Our waiter was a true pleasure. Such a distinguished, classy and funny guy.
The Gramercy was by far one of the best modern American restaurant I have been to in the area. The vibe and the decor are really on point. Whether you are looking to do a romantic dinner for two tucked away in a cozy corner surrounded by beautiful lighting, celebrating a special occasion or just here for a drink and small bites, it’s absolutely perfect. The place it super cozy and simply chic. Now the food and service. My cocktail was okay. Nothing spectacular or wow about it. The service was little slow in the beginning. There were only two servers and they both seemed to have a lot on their hands. Before going in, I knew the appetizers would be tricky since it’s mostly seafood and choices are very limited. My husband doesn’t eat eggplant and seafood. So we had to order an entree as an appetizer. We would love to see the restaurant add some appetizers that are less seafood oriented. We ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, the salmon skewers ( entree ) and calamari and both were phenomenal. The portions are great and the flavor on every dish is amazing. For dinner, we ordered skirt steak which was cooked to perfection, the burger which was really good and the tagliatelle de cacio e Pepe with a side of Mac and cheese and ratatouille. The Mac and cheese was to die for and every dish stood out on its own. For dessert we ordered the grand marnier crème brûlée, carrot cake and the Nutella and smores pie. I have to say we were absolutely blown away by the presentation, service and the flavors in every dish. Would highly recommend this place and we ourselves cannot wait to be back here for another meal.
I have eaten here multiple times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in westchester. When you walk into this place, you'll feel like you stepped into somewhere outside of westchester. The walls are covered in cool artwork, there’s music and the staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot to hang out with your friends and family to have a good time. Most importantly the food and drinks are very good!
Went with some friends we were visiting. Really busy but with a great atmosphere. We hadn't booked, so we enjoyed a few cocktails on the sofas whilst they found us a table. Food is 'modern American' if you need a genre. I had the King Louis XIV burger and credit where credit's due it's the best tasting burger I've eaten in a very long time. Wife had the Lobster Cobb Salad which she said was excellent. For dessert we had chocolate mousse cake and the bourbon Pecan cobbler both of which were really good.
The king burger was absolutely amazing. It was seasoned well, garnished perfectly, and the cook on the burger was spot on. It’s a melt in your mouth kind of burger. For dessert, I decided to get the Nutella s’mores pie and although it was technically a dip not a pie, I was still amazed with the flavors packed in! Our waiter James was a thrill, he cracked jokes and was extremely attentive. I will be returning!
Has been one of my favorite spots for a while now! So cute and chic inside plus amazing food and even better service. Shoutout to James!!
The Gramercy, this new cozy and amazing establishment in Yorktown Hights is a place to be seen. The whole vibe of the place makes an unbeatable combination with trendy ambiance, delicious food, drinks, and very friendly service.
Chris the waiter was phenomenal. Really made it special. With these trying times we haven't really had a chance to get out and it was nice to be able to stay local. The food was AMAZING, the staff impeccable, again thank u Chris for making our night a special one. We will definitely be back very soon. And no doubt spread the word that this is the place to be.
Loved the lobster salad in the summertime and Baby Spinach Caesar Salad! Went back a second and third time and tonight I ordered the paella. Omg! Sooooo good! It’s for two people, so we got two of these boxes to go. Will def order again!
Attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. Great cocktails! Scallops on truffle & mushroom risotto were delicious. Duck Cassoulet was one of the best I have had. I can't wait to go back there again. Nightly specials were great options.
Very nice atmosphere. Great staff. Very attentive. The cocktails are excellent. The hot focaccia with mascarpone garlic pine nut dip was excellent. Good menu choices and a few tempting specials. Fried calamari was perfectly cooked. Two dipping sauces, one spicy tomato and another not spicy. Scallops were delicious served on a truffle mushroom risotto. Duck cassoulet was delicious. Great experience. I can't wait to return.
Fantastic place for small gatherings (COVID aware and COVID prepared). The food is great! Try the burgers... You won't be dissapointed. I really can't say more, as I'm enjoying their drinks a bit too much! Gëzuar!
Go here, you won't regret it. French-ish American pub cuisine, done well. The lobster Cobb salad was well worth the money (chock full of delicious lobster). What amazing ambiance! Delicious cocktails (get the Bieritz, you're welcome). Our server John was so friendly and sweet - if it weren't for social distancing, I'd have hugged him. Only complaint: the bourbon pecan pie was yummy but missing the bourbon it was named for.
My wife and I took our nephew and his new wife out to celebrate their wedding. From start to finish (including dessert), we had a wonderful evening. My wife and I shared the Duck Cassoulet made 3 ways and a lobster cobb salad - absolutely delicious. We personally like our Duck Breast rendered and crispy which unfortunately this was not, but the taste was too die for!
I came here on a Friday night with my mother and grandmother, we were seated fast (I made a reservation online) in a nice booth. The service was fast and friendly, food came out quick and everything was delicious! We started with the Tuna Tartare and soup special. We got the Tagliatelle, Salmon Skewers and the special entree; a yummy filet of Branzino! The Lemon Berry mascarpone cake was to die for! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!
Honestly this restaurant is hands down one of my favorite restaurants for everything! For a regular evening, a birthday, anniversary, you name it. The food is amazing & they have a great variety. There’s something for everyone. Also, what makes the food even more delicious is the service. You are always greeted with a smile and it’s not fake you can tell there are genuinely nice individuals who work there. The food and drinks are prompt, and the waiters & waitresses are so accommodating in regards to how they handle the many palettes. Last, the atmosphere is not Uber fancy but not like going to something like 5guys. I would say possibly business casual. The decor is gorgeous and really comfy. Don’t walk, run !
The food is exceptional, the staff attentive, and the ambiance is perfect for a cozy evening.
Best place not just in Yorktown but in all of Westchester. Amazing staff, incredible food, drinks are on point. Fine dining at a fair price. Came on a Thursday and there was live singing. Michael Bublé vibes. Very classy.
Amazing place! My family stopped by for the soft opening and the food was amazing. The decor elegant and classy. So much so I booked my reception for this upcoming June with the manager. I am so happy we don’t have to go into the city to get high quality with great flavor. Try the mushroom ravioli. We got it as an appetizer but it was so good others ordered it as an entree. We couldn’t have enough. The onion soup was one of the best we have ever tried too. They also accommodated for vegans in our table. Honestly, the food was sooooo good.
Took my wife here for a birthday dinner and what a great choice that was! The owner, JT, made sure there were flowers on the table and welcome us very personably. Chris, our waiter, was a polite gentleman throughout. Food was amazing and the bread a very special touch. This is a very luxurious, atmospheric, upscale restaurant that will not break the bank. Most people dress very casually... at least that's what we observed on a Monday night. Highly recommended!
It’s my first time here and it definitely won’t be the last because I absolutely loved the place. The food was super delicious and well made and the desert (i had the pecan cobbler) literally made me melt it was so so so good. The staff was so sweet and friendly and made me feel very welcome. The restaurant itself looks so nice and sophisticated and I adored the decorations. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!
We came here for Valentine's Day and were utterly charmed (and delightfully well-fed)! The food was FANTASTIC. I had the mussels and they were out of this world. He had the duck, which was also delicious. We each had two cocktails, and all four were nuanced, tasty, and pretty; my favorite of the four was the Parisian Purple Mojito. The music was decent, the atmosphere was romantic (love the leather booths!), and the servers were wonderful. AND the prices were very reasonable, considering how upscale the food was. So glad to have found this spot and can't wait to return!
Had dinner here with my wife last week. Definitely a five star experience. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The drinks are terrific, as is the French onion soup and tomahawk steak for two. And the decor is very clean and warm. We will be back soon.
I cannot wait to go back to eat here again. We started with fried calamari which was done perfectly. Everyone in the group absolutely loved their dish, especially the Mushroom Ravioli and the Lobster Cobb Salad. Service was great, attentive without bothering you too often. The dessert and drinks were great too!
My boyfriend and I decided to try it out New Year’s Eve and it was definitely worth it! Everyone was so professional. The inside is beautiful and full of rich colors. Real flowers and candles were set on the table. They also gave us champagne on the house. My boyfriend had the duck which was amazing and cooked perfectly. I had the skirt steak and it was cooked perfectly as well. Both dinners were seasoned the right amount. Lastly, we got desert and that was great as well! It’s great for a sweet tooth! I know this isn’t about the food BUT the restrooms were pretty cool! There’s 5 doors with individual mini bathrooms! Overall, great experience. My boyfriend and I could not stop talking about this restaurant during and after dinner. Definitely, coming again ❤️
One of the best restaurants in Yorktown Heights. Service is always great, friendly waitstaff. Cocktails are solid, good beer on tap and a bar with some flat screens that always have sports on. Food is always delicious. Get the King Louis burger, amazing. Dessert is ok, could be better but it's a solid restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
Best food and dining atmosphere that Yorktown has to offer. The staff is amazing and has been consistent for years. Awesome live music every Thursday from 6-9 which should not be missed, other places charge a cover for this type of entertainment.
I had a birthday dinner here and have to say from start to finish everything was awesome. As my friends arrived at different times (party of 12) they were able to grab a drink at the large bar area. A well trained staff showed their expertise as they prepared variety mixed drinks, try the MOSCOW MULE! When we all sat down to eat, the service was great, a great variety of appetizers, I loved the Gramercy Salad. For dinner I ordered lasagna which is served in a large pasta Bowl and cut up into small pieces. Absolutely delicious!!!! All my guests loved their food and I sampled a few of there orders, everything was really good. Generous portions, great decor, and a great night! Thank you!
We just had a delicious meal here. It was busy for a Wednesday night but our waiter, Chris, was amazing. He was so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel at home. We had the Amish chicken for two which was delicious and could have fed 3. The mashed potatoes were like comfort food. The mustard sauce was so different and complimented the chicken breasts perfectly. There were roasted asparagus that were charred perfectly. We finished off the meal with the Grand Marnier creme brulee. We can't wait to come back! And another shout-out to Chris!
So I have to say: excellent restaurant! We ordered the paella and it was subpar but the manager came by and corrected it! Excellent flavor and the manager gave green beer as I mentioned in passing and it was St. Patrick’s Day wknd! Will definitely come back in the near future
We came to The Gramercy for Mother's Day and had the best time. We had the lobster cobb salad, soup, burger and the steak and all were very good. The service was wonderful, our waiter was incredibly attentive. Being a holiday they even brought over a small glass of champagne along with a small appetizer platter. We will be back again soon!
Our first night out away from our newborn and I’m so glad we chose to come here. The ambiance was wonderful with a lovely singer, the service was on point and the food was all really good. We had cocktails, French onion soup, beet and goat cheese salad and each had the double cheese burger- all delicious and would order again. We will be back again for sure! Thank you for making our night out worth it!
What a great restaurant in Yorktown. Service was great & unobtrusive. Food was delightful, the meatballs special & ravioli. Owner was witty! Ample parking.
Pleasantly surprised. First impressions, great décor and ambience. Really nice bar and great bar tender, Laura made two very good cocktails and we are fussy with our cocktails. Met one of the owners, JT at the bar and enjoyed our conversation. Friendly and personable. Dinner was very good. Service was spot on. Definitely will return and would have no reservations about recommending Gramercy Tavern to my friends and family. Finally ; Thank to JT for the Campari cocktail. It was very easy to drink.
From the unbelievably warm and delicious fluffy bread when you sit down, to the lovely and attentive waitstaff, to the innovative yet not too fancy dishes this was a top 5 meal!! We drove 1/2 hr to get here which is not usually something I’m willing to do but we will definitely be back often!!! Don’t miss out on the unreal desserts to top it all off!!! Can’t wait to share with friends and family!!
This was one of those lucky times where dinner wasn’t working out anywhere else. We came on a Monday for my husbands birthday, when most other nicer restaurants tend to be closed. We were glad we did! The atmosphere alone was extremely cozy, felt like a bit of a different time, really cool decor, comfortable romantic seating. We ordered the beet and arugula salad, and the server was kind enough to split it into two plates for us to share. We then got the tomahawk steak on a bed of mushrooms for two, which was cooked perfectly and flavorful. It came with grilled vegetables and the most delicious potato croquettes. Our server was very kind and helped us make our selections, very attentive, and friendly without being overly in our face. He even made a suggestion for the next time we go! And we will be back :)
Came by there to meet friends. Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended!!
Amazing service every time I go! The food is a good portion, great taste, and the specials are always new and push you to try new things! Savory, comfortable, and relaxing vibes. Good for small dinners or larger celebrations. Drink selection is great and I always leave satisfied after dessert!
We first went here because one of our favorite places nearby had a long wait. Turned out to be a hidden gem! It is a smaller menu well thought out menu and it shows in the quality. The ambiance is wonderful. The food is very good. The staff is caring and friendly. We went back many times. A perfect place to invite friends and family that you want to ensure will have a good experience. Thanks!
Never disappointed at The Gramercy. The Crab cake app is amazing, and they make an excellent cocktail to match. On to dinner, the special of the evening was jumbo scallops over risotto, and it was amazing as well. On the menu is the chicken. Cutlet pappardale and say YES!!! So good. Add some nice wine, and great service and it's all around a regular go to.
Food and service were excellent! had a great burger and the creme brulee
Went there on a sat night without reservations thinking we'd be on a wait list... The host informed us there was no tables and they were completely booked out but could order at the lounge. They were comfy couches so we were cool with that though it would have been nice to know beforehand but no website is up yet. I'm assuming because we were at the lounge that's why our service was extremely slow. I ended up ordering another round of drinks when the server brought us our current round. The food took a while too but it was delicious. The flavors went well together although I'm hoping overtime the apps will have more or different options. The ambiance was nice and the crowd was well dressed. I think this was a great addition to Yorktown. I'll definitely give this place another shot in the future.
The meal was really good and the waiters were so great they were very attentive. We had the tuna tartar and eggplant appetizers which were out of this world.
A winner all around. Food was prepared spot on. A busy Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly loud. The service really stood out, our waiter was great. I can't remember his name but he would be the Irish gent with quick sense of humor and a cheerful smile.
Very comfortable and nicely furnished restaurant. Prices are where a good restaurant usually is. We were a group of 4 and felt a little bit rushed at the beginning. The food is good not great and the portions are on the smaller size. One Desert had to be returned. Good not great. Update, we returned this past weekend and the meal was perfect. Our server, James, was a gem. I guess everyone has an off day now and than.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. Each bite melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was just right. The sides were just as impressive, especially the Bread omg what a treat DEF MUST TRY !!!
I had high hopes for this place based on the owners' statements on their website. However, the food was just ok, the service was lacking. Had to ask 3 times for a 2nd glass of wine, and the old glass was left on the table. They didn't come over to remove the full plate of empty shells when I started using another plate for the empty shells. Overall, just ok.
OMG, I 've been going here for years and I am so upset about this experience on NYE. First off, 5 people asked us if we wanted water before we got it - not a big deal but should have realized this was indicative of the evening. The most important thing was the food. The crab cake appetizer was cold on the inside, meaning it was either frozen or refrigerated as opposed to be individually made. There is a video on their FB page on how they make it fresh! When I complained to both the waiter - who knew us as frequent patrons - and the bus boy, no one apologized or seemed to care. Then my chicken had bones in it, I didn't want to complain since they were so non caring about the appetizer issue. No apologies, no offer of a free anything. The mushroom sauce on the chicken was very thick and gloppy, very unappetizing. Again, so disappointed about cold food and food with bones in it and no one seemed to apologize or care. Been going there for years, will never go back again. For a bill over of almost $200 with tip, not acceptable!
