Went there for dinner and where amazed by the excellent food as well as the location which is very clean/new. The rustic/vintage interior looks great and the many small details are a pleasure to discover. Last but not least, the service: I have never (in Mexico) experienced a better/more attentive service than in this restaurant, every wish was read from our lips and executed quickly. Also the time we had to wait for our food was reasonable, especially considering the group of 13 we were. Thank you for the great dining experience and the breakfast the following day, keep it up! Son tlacoyos muy diferentes a los que he probado en CDMX pero como buena tapatía, agradecí que estuvieran ahogados 🙂‍↕️ El agua de arándonos muy rica! Y sin duda, lo más bonito es la ambientación del lugar :)

Comida 🥘 La carne asada y el pollo tienen buen sazón y son ricos. El resto de platillos como el queso y las enchiladas son buenas pero hasta ahí. Atmósfera Lo que realmente gusta es el lugar con sus grandes detalles desde la mesa siendo una rueda hasta los terminados de en piedra del lugar y la fuente. Es un lugar que hay que visitar por su estancia pero nada más.

Nice quaint and quite spot to eat in Zacatlán. I went twice, and both times were great, and the food was excellent and well priced. They don't ask for any tip at all, but the service was great, and I would recommend for a Sunday brunch or semi-casual weekend meals.

The overall experience was poor, mainly due to excessive wait times and a lack of service. After ordering, the first course (Aztec soup) took approximately 30–40 minutes to arrive. The bottled water also took about 30 minutes, which is unreasonable. As for the taste, the soup was mediocre, around 5–6/10, with nothing remarkable about it. When ordering, I indicated that I wanted the second course (eggs divorced) later, which shouldn't be interpreted as meaning it should be prepared at that moment. In any restaurant, that kind of instruction implies that the dish should be prepared or partially prepared for delivery in a reasonable time. However, after finishing the soup, I was informed that they were just about to start preparing it, resulting in an additional wait of 10–15 minutes. Furthermore, the tortillas that had been served with the first course arrived completely cold for the second course, and the waiter offered no assistance in replacing them, reheating them, or suggesting any other solution. Overall, the service was slow and disorganized for such a simple meal. It's a shame, as the place could improve considerably if it streamlined its customer service and follow-up processes.

Good atmosphere, the staff was very attentive and helpful, however, many food issues: they didn't have mole for enmoladas, there were no tlacoyos either, and they failed to even have a simple sweet bread, not to mention beans, not even to accompany chilaquiles, plus some so-called molletes were full of grease.
