Ubicado a unos pasos del mirador de cristal, el Hotel La Barranca es una excelente opción para hospedarse en Zacatlán. Sus habitaciones de estilo contemporáneo cuentan con aire acondicionado, smart tv con cable y acceso a Netflix, sus toallas y sábanas son suficientes e impecables, así como sus camas cómodas y en excelente estado. Los acabados y el estado en general de la habitación es muy bueno. El hotel cuenta.tambien con restaurante el cual ofrece un desayuno buffet que incluye platillos como: huevos revueltos, chilaquiles, barbacoa, tinta, pozole, conejo, entre otros. Cuenta con estacionamiento interior para los huéspedes. La atención de su propietaria es excelente. El costo de la habitación para dos personas (sep. 2018) fue de $700. Una opción muy recomendable en Zacatlan y muy cerca del centro.

Alojamiento cómodo, cumplidor, fue agradable regresar, después de 2 años de no haber ido a zacatlan. El restaurante es de lo mejor, solo que la coordinación les falla, mucha gente, aglomeraciones y lento el resurtido de la comida del bufete.

I honestly didn't want to go because of the bad reviews I'd heard about the service, but I went anyway and it was very quiet. The food was so-so; it wasn't amazing, the flavor was fantastic, but it wasn't bad either. What I didn't like was their dessert bar: a flan all cut into little squares, a cake that looked like it came from a corner store, and that was about it.

A buffet restaurant: $170 per person for traditional food and $250 per person for seafood buffet. I tried the traditional food and it was very tasty and highly recommended. It includes 3 types of dessert (note: coffee is not included). The view is great and it's fresh.

The restaurant's service is very good. The price is $160 per person, buffet-style, and drinks are included. The food is delicious, and they're constantly refilling the trays and pots with more food. The view is also great, and they have a small balcony so you can take photos before or after eating. Highly recommended.

Solo fuí al restaurante, había buffet de mariscos🍤... Lo califico con 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (yo califico con chiles 🤗) porque a algunos platos les falto sabor y la barra de postres solo tenía 3 🥴 De ahí en fuera el precio accesible y justo, feliz porque el buffet incluye agua, mucho espacio y bien surtida la barra, excelente atención y amabilidad... Lo principal, no me hizo daño 👏 a pesar de que comí brutalmente 🐖 Prometo volver! 🍽️😋

I was surprised by the flavor of their mixiotes, which were very good. The white spaghetti was excellent. A good variety of food for a place like Zacatlán. The view is one of the best any food and beverage establishment has in Zacatlán. What would be really helpful is not having so many dirty dishes in sight, but it can be solved. They have live music.

Overall, it's good. I'll come back. The flan is delicious, the mixiote is delicious. The view is great. I had a day with few people; it was nice. There wasn't much noise. I liked the romantic and relaxing music. But you should check the card or bank transfer payment option.

The food was decent, and the prices were fair. However, while the staff was friendly, they were overwhelmed with customers. I waited 15 minutes for my coffee, and then over 30 minutes for the bill. I ended up getting up and paying at the entrance.

The owner went to the restroom and didn’t wash her hands clams she washed them but she didn’t she’s rude and unprofessional.. yelled like she’s crazy and embarrassed herself. The restrooms were nasty and dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. The restaurant part anyways.

It's a great place to stay, with an incredible view. However, the buffet and restaurant leave much to be desired. The buffet gets so crowded that the servers can't keep up (though they do provide good service), which makes the buffet area look messy with food scattered everywhere. The only thing that's appealing is the barbecue and tripe, which tastes terrible. The only redeeming feature is the egg, and that's about it. Then, in the cereal area, they didn't check the expiration dates, and three out of four cereals were hard and expired. The bathrooms and the entire place desperately need cleaning.

A buffet I'd never seen before. Ten of us went around 10 a.m., and there was no fruit. Of the 12 dishes they have listed, there were only five. It took them more than 45 minutes to get even the papaya cut for the fruit section. While the broth and barbacoa were tasty, they didn't refill the rest. The staff, while attentive, weren't very coordinated. It's a shame my friends recommended it. I'd suggest somewhere else. They don't accept card or bank transfer payments, only cash!

This place is a scam, do not go! See attached photos. My wife had two mini bottles (1 cup each) of the 120 vino tinto - a pretty basic and cheap wine. There was no price given to us, but when the check came they charged us 240 pesos for each - a total of 480 pesos for 2 glasses of wine! I took the check to the manager and said this must be a mistake but he insisted that it was not. I told him that that price is more than a really good wine in a nice restaurant and he didn't care. Look at the pictures that show the actual cost of a 4-pack of the same wine, and the other that shows the price per cup at a different restaurant right down the street. BEWARE OFTHIS RESTAURANT

Disgusting EVERYTHING at their buffet, the food is so bad it gave me diarrhea and pain, the place smells like poop from the poorly washed beef tripe, the flavored water was tasteless, they denied us the terminal to pay with a card, NEVER eat there it's truly disgusting, a waitress was holding the Neapolitan flan with her hands and ate it and then put it on the table so people could serve themselves, she thought no one was watching. One of the worst experiences of my life. I remember the food and I want to throw up.
