Opinions de Los Charros Zaragoza
Fuimos a comer este sábado pasado con unos amigos que habitualmente van allí a almorzar y salí encantada. Muy buena calidad en sus productos y la atención muy buena. Volveré sin duda.
One of the best restaurants in Zaragoza. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, the service is impeccable, and the value for money is unbeatable. It's always a pleasure to eat at Los Charros; the staff is fantastic—fun, professional, attentive... And the food... absolutely delicious!
I'd been there many times for lunch but never for dinner. Today we decided to go for it, and everything was fine. Our first course was Cuban-style rice, nothing special. We ordered the entrecote, which was extra, but I think it was worth it because the entrecote was very good. For dessert, we had rice pudding, which was delicious and seemed homemade.
We went for lunch and it was spectacular, with tomato and onion salad, grilled octopus, and bacon—a five-star lunch. The price is a bit high, but the quality is worth it. The place is small and usually quite noisy.
we had a great time of this restaurant. we had a family of six just passing by the city, looking for a local restaurant. we chose this one based on the Google reviews and we were not wrong. The food was excellent the portions were quite big and they have a very nice three course menu for a very reasonable price. We asked for four menus and three starters and we barely finish all the food. The service was very friendly and quick, and the dishes were very yummy . Highly recommendable
A restaurant with a long history and very good reviews, and I can attest that it deserves a 10. We went for lunch and ordered eggs with milk and eggs with cheeks, an onion and tomato salad, and a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was spectacular. You can order many things to accompany your eggs. For dessert, don't leave without trying the cheesecake, and the French toast must also be outrageous. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is spacious. The tapas bar is spectacular. You have to go there; open Monday through Friday, closed on weekends.
A must-visit spot. Some of the best seafood and fish. Professional yet friendly service; they recommend and offer their wide selection. We had rice with lobster and appetizers of tuna belly salad and grilled razor clams—everything was fantastic. Don't forget the homemade desserts. Can't wait to go back.
En mi caso el Menú. Pues bien para comer y seguir…..sin grandes alardes pero bien cocinado. Muy muy rápidos. Cantidades correctas y precio ajustado 15€
A great place for lunch. It's not cheap, but everything is delicious. The service is quick. The worst thing is the noise. The dining room is small for so many people. It's very noisy. But I'll be back.
A restaurant that never fails. The seafood and meats are excellent. They always use seasonal produce and cook it beautifully. They always have special items off the menu that I recommend trying because they're fresh. I've been going here for many years, and the quality never slips. The restaurant is a bit out of the way; it's not centrally located, but you can park around the back without any problems. Recommended. Make a reservation in advance.
A very comprehensive daily menu for €12.50 inside and €13 on the terrace includes a starter, main course, dessert, bread, and a choice of water or wine with homemade coffee. Coffee is not included. If you order to go, they charge €1 for each Tupperware, but it's understandable. A fairly generous portion and traditional food, with the seafood and fish being super fresh.
The place is incredibly cramped and excessively noisy. It's fine for lunch once a year, but otherwise, nothing special. Cleanliness isn't their strong suit either. The food quality is mediocre. The fried eggs were runny, the potatoes (admittedly, they were natural) were swimming in oil, and there was raw bacon. The oxtail was good, and the bread was decent too. The price seemed quite high for the quality.
Food is ok but too small, noisy and fast paced. There'll be no next time. Sorry.
It used to be a great place thanks to the parents' hard work for many years, one of Zaragoza's landmark bars, but it's lost a lot. Today, three of us went for lunch. One dish was two fried eggs with pig's snout, another was two fried eggs with a piece of cod, and the star dish was a slice of Bolognese omelet with a piece of cod, the latter at the modest price of €13.50. The other two dishes were €7.50 and €8, so what's the price of the omelet, €7?! To top it all off, we sat at a table where the sun was beating down on me. I moved to a different spot so it wouldn't bother me, and the waiter told me I couldn't sit there because I was blocking the view for the other waiters. So, I had the sun in my face the whole lunch. It's unbelievable that after all these years they don't have a curtain to block it. Many people complain about the prices and they've lost a lot of customers. In fact, entire tables from the company where I work stopped coming a few years ago, and now I won't be going either. Here's the receipt.
Today I went out intending to have lunch, but I had several unpleasant surprises, contrary to my previous opinion. I ordered pork belly with eggs and potatoes. The pork belly was cut unevenly, so there were raw and overcooked areas in the same piece. The eggs were incompatible; raw, I personally found them disgusting. But the worst was at the end. I ordered a carajillo de anís recalado (a type of Spanish brandy), and they didn't know what it was. After explaining, the manager himself literally told me it was crap. I replied that I liked it, period. He insisted on saying it was crap, to which I replied that he had less attention to detail than the dashboard of a Fiat Panda, telling a customer that what they liked was crap. What's crap is having things prepared on the bar, which, even under a semi-open display case, is exposed to any bug or splashes from customers leaving.
I'm a Chinese restaurant, and I'm going to try this place! I've been to this restaurant several times; it's known for its good value. A set menu costs €13.50 and includes two courses, water or wine, and dessert. You can also order a single course with water or wine and dessert for €8.50. Yesterday, my wife and I ordered a coffee, a drink, and two portions of cod at the bar. When we went to pay, the waiter told us it was €22. My wife asked for the receipt, and it only said "22," with no details. He couldn't print the correct price because he had inflated it on purpose; perhaps he didn't recognize us and assumed we were new customers and foreigners, so he wanted to make more money. I remember that last week a portion of cod cost €5.80, but this time he charged us €9. When I asked, he tried to give us a €2 discount out of remorse. When I got angry, his colleague showed me the purchase receipts, saying the prices had gone up. “Why don’t you update the menu prices?” I asked. He explained that they weren’t on the computer or the menu. The waiter was incredibly rude, and both fish I ordered were raw inside. When I complained, he blatantly lied, saying, “This one’s already cooked; that’s how it’s supposed to be,” and then, after checking that the fish was still translucent, he took it back to the kitchen. It was outrageous and disgusting. I could have called the police or filed a complaint, but I didn’t want any trouble, so I paid and left. To be honest, previous visits had been good, which is why I kept going back. But this time, I’ll never return; it was too embarrassing.
I went because of the reviews, and honestly, I think it's quite expensive for what it offers. Aside from ordering two tapas (two torreznos) for €15, it seems like a rip-off. We obviously ordered them thinking it would be a normal and reasonable price until we got the ticket. The food itself: two very tough entrecôtes, plus a Roque Ford sauce for €4. And I won't even mention five pork chops and a few fries. I won't be back, and obviously I won't recommend it. I'd also like to add that the waitresses were 10/10 for their attitude and work ethic, but the owner was only interested in selling the expensive stuff and nothing else. Terrible treatment on his part.
