This is a great place to get away. The staff are alert and attentive to your needs in the pool and restaurant area. Also the food in the restaurants are better than the pool food menu options. There are many different pool selections. There's a gym and I also appreciated the beach access. Once you're at the hotel you don't have a need to leave, but you can and there's a Walmart and Sam's club walking distance from the resort.
This hotel is amzing close to the beach and ocean view and I saw more than 2 waterfall .I saw creature like peacock female and flamingo. And go to the snack bar their kids chi ken tender are so good and fresh but the place sometimes dangerous and to hot.But the this hotel is great and should be 5 stars.
Current management should be proud of the property and employees! Although it was heart breaking to see all the storm damages I must complement the hotel and its staff on miraculous progress in recreating the world class resort experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by two very friendly young women at the concierge desk (sorry I did not write their names down). Iris at the front entrance, Roberto (bellman we have known for decades), and Josepha our housekeeper for over 22 years. At Azzul, Ricardo (long time server) greeted us at breakfast along with Adrian and Angelica at dinner. Nidia, was very friendly and helpful at the Beach Club for lunch, as were Alvaro and Isabel. Out of all the places I've traveled your property stands out as the only one when every single staff member stops what they are doing, looks up and says good (time of day). We look forward to spending time at the hotel again soon.
We loved this resort! The staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. The food was very good with several restaurants, bars and cafes. The beach was awesome! Very clean pools. Our room had amazing panoramic ocean view, large balcony area and comfortable patio furniture. We will definitely return!
To start , the location is incredible because is near the beach, so you can go to take a walk and you have and amazing view. Rooms are perfect ,they have everything and they are super clean . The service is great , they are very responsive and willing to help with everything you need, also they would anything to assure you have a great experience. The hotel is big and has so many pools and internet , also many activities and live shows. The food is also very good. In conclusion if you want to pass a good time with your family or you friends this is a perfect option , also you don't have to leave the hotel because it has it all , but in case you need something there are some supermarkets near
Stay here for a week in a business trip plus couple of days to unwind after. The place is still recovering from the damage that hurricane Otis caused, which brought along some inconveniences during our stay. The rate per night and prices at shops, restaurants, spa corresponds to a 5 star hotel , however, the service delivered wasn't a 5⭐ worth, in some aspects Room upon arriving was lacking in the cleaning, had to call to request to have the areas visible dirty to be cleaned Matresses felt cheap, not the luxury feel on a 5⭐ hotel bed, the base was wiggly, the mattress very firm, that left me with backaches in the mornings, didn't feel rested 😔 In the bathroom the exhaust fan was broken, no A/C either , creating a lot of unpleasant humidity The complimentary Nespresso coffee was much appreciated Most of the time only 1 of 4 elevators would operate, no more than 10 people can get in at a time, elevators have no A/C, making it unpleasant when stoping at every floor from the top levels, I felt sorry for the employees operating it for hours without airflow & dealing with the complaints of guests Breakfast is worth including since there aren't many breakfast places nearby the hotel. Although, there are birds that have learned to take the bread or have some bites of unattended plates, kinda gross! Breakfast was mainly a variety of Mexican classics, the was a custom Omelette station, and Quesadilla station too making upon request customized items. Those stations seemed to get 🥵 quite hot and employees have to just deal with it, can they be provided with fans? The pool activities & music/dancing performances at the lobby were enjoyable The Spa offers services that are worth it! specially after the work days were over. Only set back is they don't have their place put together yet to offer the whole experience such as the sauna, vapor & jacuzzi rotation they had before the hurricane. Restaurant prices seemed high, waitresses were always friendly and busy, it can take a while to get a table and be served in some of them The chaise lounges by the pools & on the beach are not very comfortable, missing cushions There are 3rd party people that set up nicer lounges but obvi, you have to pay for those, don't understand why the hotel allow them to be so close, confusing guest in thinking they are part of the hotel, or why that kind of comfortable setting isn't offer by the hotel in the first place. Parking can be challenging to find a spot to park , specially during the weekend. Overall most the staff was friendly and helpful, 5⭐ to them and a few should learn from them!

The hotel was really nice for the room in general. We stayed for a week, however, we got our keys disabled two times, which meant having to go down to reception after you were up in your room. Trying to get on the elevator at certain times was just a pain in the neck… you could spend like 20 minutes or more waiting for the elevators to pick you up. The restaurants are nice. Azul was simply great and full of nice flavors, the waiters were very kind and helpful during breakfast and at dinner. Beach Club was not that very nice, the waiters were not very serviceable and the food was not that savoury. Kudos to Francisco, the concierge in charge of accommodating your sunbed reservations. He’s super kind and always glad to help you and set you up.
It may be because the hurricane in 2023 caused a lot of damage but my stay was a bit disappointing: half the pools were closed, the water slide was closed, the hanging bridge was closed, the pool-side bars were closed. The bed sheets had an unkind smell and only two elevators were in operation, regularly causing delays. Also, at night the hotel is illuminated from the outside with big colourful lamps, which illuminate the room through the blinds, making sleeping difficult of you like darkness. Despite this, the staff were always kind helpful and the place is quite beautiful and has a lot of potential.
The hotel is nice with beautiful structural vibes and spacious rooms. I used it on a long weekend and the check-in was not well organized with very long queues and a 2 hours wait time to check-in. With the season, all facilities were overcrowded, swimming pools are open for all and with the holidays the amount of kids crying and shouting everywhere wasn’t very convenient. The lunch was very tasty at the “La Fisheria” but breakfast was not, the hotel doesn’t provide a lot of vegetarian options and everywhere had queues and long wait times. The room was neat and clean and the bed was so comfortable however the shower needed maintenance.
Booking showed a price of 350 euros with discounts for 2 night but they charged 850 euros (orignal/standard price). At the payment steps two prices were shown, one in euros (350) and one in mexican pesos (about 850, the price without the discount). We looked at the euros which was on the bottom near the payment button and was much larger displayed. They charged the mexican pesos one. We are trying to reach Booking regarding this and understand its more their fault than the hotel's. Although, the help we got in any way from the hotel was nothing. They could not do anything etc. We tried to cancel the booking the minute after reserving it as we saw the charge immediately. But they did not respond and once we contacted them, we could cancel it but the money would not be refunded in any way. Ok, other stuff: breakfast is amazing, and some personel is really nice. Building is in decay, 1 elevator operational (no way you can take it going down as it is full all the time), basically we take the stairs for 5 floors all the time. Long waiting lines before breakfast (the breakfast facility is simply too small for this size of a hotel) also long waiting lines for getting freshly made eggs/quesadillas, these lines take about 40 min of your day (once you got the food, it is really good). No free refill of natural water anywhere. Swimming pool is a bit dirty but not too bad. Gym seemed nice, didnt use it. In our room there is a door to another, it is locked but the noise goes straight through it, not so nice at night. Also there is a big colouring light shining directly onto your room which makes sitting on the balcony not so pleasant and this light also shines into your room which is unfavorable. Quite a list, hope you can use it. We understand the storm of 2 years ago took a toll on the hotel, but 400+ euros per night for this hotel is definitely not worth it. Approx. 100-200 would be okay but make sure you are not scammed by Booking ;-)
Rooms had various damage to them. One the sliding door didn't lock and AC was not working properly. The other room had a leaking fixture handle. Their bell hops are not efficient. Stand around socializing instead of helping guests. The worst part is that their staff don't keep their word when they promise something. Will not be staying here again.
Right now they mislead in their advertising. There are many of the hotel areas closed and terrible! Spa is not open, pools not open but they are charging the same! If we knew the true we would have definitely not come here. They cut costs in everything we were three in the room and they insisted only 2 towels no shampoo ! omg the sste is of a 2 star hotel! Do not stay here unless it is finished! Guests have to put up with repaid, noise, smell of paint, etc..also what kind of hotel includes the buffet but asks you to sign a check and give tip? Outrageous
The people are amazing, unfortunately the infrastructure is not worth the money. They have great trouble with IT department, whatsapp customer service is terrible. They took over 4 hours to find our reservation, the pool was murky and only one vip pool was clean but we could not enter, there was no hot water and they lied about it when asked, the hotel lost power over the night with one 1 hour plant backup, so we were trapped since elevators did not work and the stairwell was pitch black (safety issue). Front desk lied again. At some point the mini fridge started catching fire with the power spikes, we called front desk and they did not care. They also left some sort of flower arrangement with green, slimy, smelly water in the room. Hope they read this and get back on their feet, this hotel usted to be the best of the best and now it is just sad. Even with all of that, we had an amazing view and had a great time.
Decent hotel overall but the service was awful. They charged us an extra of 250 pesos for "service", probably to pay the big boys for "security", if you know what I mean. Then they gave us (a couple) a room with two beds instead of a kingsize bed despite us booking it in advance. Lastly, we could clearly hear the neighbors talking normally next door, which isn't normal in a 4 star hotel. Clearly not worth the prices on a weekend.
This hotel is extremely overpriced. The food is very expensive, the elevator makes a lot of noises and the doors slam on people getting in and out..it doesn't seem safe. There aren't any activities or entertainment. The main pool was still shut down. The staff is not friendly. And I found a cockroach in my room 0834.. I visited from seattle in october 2025 see pic below
We reserved our room at 3:00pm and were told that the room isn’t ready. That’s not our problem, what was the point in reserving the room? Very poor customer service, don’t recommend!
Hello. Before seeing this opportunity, look for others. The hotel is old, the service of the people and managers above all, is lousy. rude, they do not solve anything and despots. for the money you pay in that hotel, there are other better and new options. I do not recommend living your stay there. the facilities are dirty and worn. I would never go again, I missed it.
