They serve variety of Vietnamese food. I had Mỳ Quảng (you can only find it in special menu, or ask them for it), it tastes good, i enjoyed the noodle a lot. I also had nem chua rán (which is not so good), bánh xèo tôm thịt - good one, nem cuốn bì - so so but big roll, chè sương sa hột lựu - tasted good, fresh. Will come back to taste more!
Excellent food, ordered the thit nuong va bi and some sort of chicken dish. The plating is really beautiful and the flavor is great authentic viet food (forgot to take a picture before, but trust it was so nice). Great price too, a medium portion vermicelli dish around 14.99, and the desert menu is extensive. Atmosphere chill and clean. Highly recommended.
It's not often you come across a restaurant that makes several dishes "the way mom used to make it" I had the eggrolls, vermicelli bowl, banh uot, banh mi. Yeah... they were all exactly how they're meant to be. I wish I could give a thousand stars, but instead, I wish for a thousand years of good health and well being! Cheers!
Great service. The staff were nice and the foods came out quickly - about 5-10 min after we ordered. We had Banh Beo, Banh Khot, Bun Bo and Pho. They were great. Good flavor and clean. The price for some of the items on the menu is a little bit expensive but nothing too extreme. Beside where else can you get those dishes. I’m looking to try Banh Mi and rice dishes next. Highly recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for Vietnamese foods.
Finally Vietnamese food that I like! I've been meaning to try this place since they opened and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Every single thing that we tried was delicious! Apologies for not knowing all of the dish names, but the little rice custard cups were awesome... I ate 3 of them. This is also one of a very few places that puts the liver patte on the banh mi(I think), which is an absolute must IMO(Whatever it was, it was good). The shrimp and pork crepe thing tasted really good but one complaint would be that the shrimp need to be peeled. The vermicelli was my least favorite dish, but still not bad in any way. As for the prices, let's be real, we're not in Vietnam where we can get this stuff for pennies on the dollar. We had rice custard, banh mi, vermicelli, shrimp+pork crepe, 2 yogurt cups, wine, annnd a BBQ beef skewer and our bill was something like $54 before tip... that's not that bad. I will be a repeat customer, there were so many other things on the menu that we didn't get to try!
The food I got ( pork skewers, shrimp crepe, dumplings) were delicious I highly recommend the pork skewers. Everything was flavorful and the service was excellent. Staff was really friendly. Only thing I did not care for was that the shrimp in the crepe still had the shell and legs on it. I was informed after ordering that is the traditional way to eat shrimp crepes. Either way it was really good.
The food was good although it seemed like it a too small a portion for what I am used to compared to the other restaurant. The rice noodles was portion like kids size, more rice noodles please. The staff and owner/manager were all nice. I do not like their chairs. It makes the place look cheap.
All the staff members here are so helpful and nice! The owner came to our table explaining the menu and the different items that they’re known for! The ambiance is not too loud. The restaurant is spacious and clean! We ordered much more but was so intrigued and hungry so didn’t take pictures of our spread! We ordered banh xeo, banh beo, bun dau mam Tom, tiny eggrolls with peanut sauce and pho! Everything turned out so good!! I would definitely come back for more! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
District One has been on my to-try list for a minute now and I'm so glad we finally got to try it. We stopped in at about 8:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy (considering the shopping center is always packed). We ordered the DS7 Nem Chua Ran, DS8 Bap Xao Bo Trung Muoi, DS12 Banh Trang Tron, C3 Banh Xeo Tom Thit, and my partner got a sugar cane juice. The order arrived quickly and everything looked and tasted so fresh. The banh Xeo was perfectly crispy and a hearty size. It was my first time trying banh trang tron and I was sad the experience had to end, so good. My partner even said the sugar cane looked darker like it was really fresh pressed and tasted fresher, too. Prices are great and the staff is helpful. This was an excellent experience and District One is a highly recommended spot for me.
Bún chả Hà Nội is DELICIOUS. It is good and very flavorful. The meat had just the right amount of fat (not too much). If I had to say something though, I wish they gave a little more bún (vermicelli) noodles and prefer the meat to be a little charred. High quality dish overall though. I have not found many restaurants that make this dish, but the few that I've tried in DFW, this is hands-down the best. 5/5 Cơm tấm gà nướng (broken rice with grilled chicken) is usually my go-to dish at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was ok, but not what I expected. The chicken was too sweet for me and wish the chicken was more charred. 3/5 Bánh mì xíu mại (meatball sandwich) was good, but wish it was a little saltier. Just a personal preference though. 4/5 Bánh mì đặc biệt (special sandwich) was on point. Very good. 5/5 Sugarcane drink 5/5 Chè ba mầu (three color bean dessert) was good, but just a hint too sweet for me. 4.5/5 Pho was also good. Service was also good. Everyone was extremely nice, and the restaurant was clean. There was a steady number of people going in and out. I will definitely come here again and try other foods. I highly recommend the bun cha Hanoi. Parking is horrible during peak hours though, but not the restaurant's fault.
District One Saigon Street Food offers authentic Vietnamese flavors with a fresh, crispy Bánh Mì and delicious squid pancakes. The sandwich had savory meats and fresh herbs, while the squid pancakes were crispy outside, tender inside, and perfectly complemented by fresh veggies and dipping sauce. We loved the bread so much we even brought some to have at home also. A great spot for Vietnamese street food lovers!
came here a few time and the service is always exceptional! everyone here is so nice and the food is amazing. will be returning :)
I feel like this place deserves a higher rating. Their selection is wonderful! So many good food to choose! I got their Pho and Banh Khot but man I wanted to eat their whole menu! Love the decor and love that they leave water at your table since I drink a lot when eat! The food is well seasoned and flavorful!
Best pho meat quality I’ve tried and I have been to every pho place in the area. Broth is decent tho. Bahn Mi is super tasty just a little small, definitely a good deal for their happy hour or daily special. avocado smoothie is insanely good as well.
I really appreciate the authenticity of the food here. We always get spring rolls with grilled pork, pho bo/vermicelli bowl, and banh xeo. This is our go-to Vietnamese spot for banh xeo. We have tried this dish at other restaurants (if they even have it) in north Dallas and all have fallen short. It is well seasoned, the meat/veggie ratio is well balanced, and the quality of lettuce/mint leaves served with it is unmatched 👌🏼 The fish sauce is delicious and tastes homemade. Service is always kind and quick. I'm confused because I've never seen it busy or packed, but their food is 100% consistent, so I hope it continues to serve them well. The pricing is competitive. They have to be competitive their location, and it's not a practical area to complain about high prices. These are the times we are living in.
Delicious food with good price. I love it that they have daily special. Service is great. Give them a chance and try their food. I believe you will not be disappointed.
Love love ❤️ this place! Best vietnamese street food around! Place is clean and nice. We come here often for authentic vietnamese street food! A must try!
I'm amazed that that place is not packed because... THE FOOD IS GOOD REALLY GOOD, people should know about this place for real, The fry rice( combo rice) is delicious the "tom" I love it!! My daughter is really picky eating, but the "kids noodles" that they have she love it and eat the whole thing without even breathing every time. The owner is really nice and has an impressive history about his restaurant. We are on our way to eat there for our anniversary, Is a nice place to eat something fresh and tasty. UPDATED: The owner of the restaurant sang to us for our anniversary ❤️ was really romantic he even gave us a dessert to eat. I was surprised we really love this place a lot!
I visited District One Saigon Street Food one night for dinner. This place was very crowded when I arrived, but they have an iPad where you can be notified via text when your table is ready. The food was amazing. I could eat the chicken wings every day and not get tired of them. I will definitely be back!
We had such a great time discovering rare dishes not served at other Viet restaurants! Let me tell you, their springs rolls are special and different from other Viet restaurants too. We got the set of 6. My kid had the Grilled Pork Banh Mi and she loved it. We also ordered the stewed beef rice noodles and it was pretty good. My other fav was Pork & Shrimp Banh Xéo. I enjoyed adding fresh mint leaves and this other leaf to it. Interesting leaf... it tasted like shrimp and fish, so it actually gave the fish sauce another dimension. Omg, it was so good! I am coming back! Btw it's pretty good prices too. It was pretty expensive eating BCD across the parking lot.
Great experience!! Fresh seafood, they had a lot of options for escargot, clams, oysters, and more! Fish sauce was sweet but not overly sweet which we preferred. Decorations were nice in the restaurant as well.
They offer a daily $9.99 special dish; the food is tasty.
Beautiful food. I took a dear friend here and I loved it. The food was amazing. The staff is friendly and enen the music was pleasant. My favorite was the BBQ skewers. I had several items that were my first time trying. I look forward to returning.
This place was great! There are so many options on the menu and everything we have tried have been good! And I didn't think it was over priced either (imo) Owner was very nice and helpful as well. We will def come back to try their other dishes.

Intro: Want to try a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine? Want to know what it feels like having Vietnamese street food? Want to try a Vietnamese restaurant that is truly different? This is a good for that. Pros: The menu has a large selection, including some of the hard-to-find dishes such as nem chua ran (pictured). There are good representatives of different Vietnamese regions which is impressive, considering how ethnic owners usually offer the food where they come from so ethnic restaurants tend to narrowly focus on a very specific region of a country. This place does offer a diverse selection. The owner is friendly. Cons: The price is a bit high while the portion is a bit small. This is perfect for trying different things or to fulfill that certain crave. But if I want to just have bowl of noodle for dinner, then I would come out of here unsatisfied.
I’m rating 4 stars because some stuff was really good but other stuff was just ok. I will go back to try other things, I love the idea of the small shareable plates. The papaya salad was served with blood sausage or liver, which wasn’t listed as an ingredient so that was a surprise. The flan was worthy of 10 stars as well as the bahn mi. The thit nuong (grilled pork) was very flavorful. Overall, I would suggest anyone give it a shot.
Food was excellent for a lunch date! A little to much shell left on the shrimp cakes, but no big deal. Price was slightly high but portion size was large so you totally forget about the price. Fills you up but not that stuffed can barley walk feeling lol. Nicely seasoned broth on the Pho bowls, hot & steamy! Loved the fresh egg rolls served hot, straight out of the fryer! Wait or was kind. I enjoyed that they serve cold ice water by the pitcher and bring you ice cold metal cups from the freezer. It was 100 degrees that day so this was refreshing. Seating was a bit tight and chairs/benches not comfy. I need a lil more cushion for comfort while I dine, but overall good dining experience and ambiance was vibrant. Really neat paintings on the walls and decor. We'll be back....
We ordered chicken dumplings, pho ga (chicken) and banh mi (grilled pork sandwich). Dumplings were good. Pho was a bit bland but otherwise good. Banh mi was skimpy with the filling and bread was very dry. The staff was a bit unfriendly and preferred to bus tables then take order or otherwise pay attention to the customer.
We came in between hours, the place was completely empty but it still reflected the vibe that the name is communicating. District One is Downtown Saigon, and I can imagine this place being busy downtown street food joint. We liked what we ordered. The chicken was tasty and juicy, bbq beef was nice and soft, Pho was good but didn’t have enough meat comparing to the amount of noodles. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Interesting menu. Quite different from your typical viet place in Haltom and Arlington. A lot of different items that I have not tried before. Flavor profile was a little toned down, does not have that typical viet noucnam infused taste :-) Prices were a little high for the portions. Mi Quang I had was small for almost 13$ although it did have 5 pieces of pork and 2 shrimp. The cockles were a little overcooked but the sauce that came with it was spot on. Loved slurping that down the throat. It was so good.
I was looking for something new the other day and ended up checking out this. I have to say, their menu is really cool because they've got some specialty dishes you just don't see at other places. The food we ordered was pretty solid all around. Nothing was disappointing; the quality was good, and everything tasted decent. It's one of those places you go to when you're craving something reliable and want to try something a little different.
Banh cuon cha lua was excellent!! But fried rice cakes were very thin. Mangoade (mango soda) tastes good.
I knew this place when they just open, but did not try because I thought this location , the food can be not authentic vietnames.. . But I am wrong, the food really authentic vietnames.....I order hú tiếu gỏ nước, my husband ate bún chả Hà Nội, my son order phở,....bột chiên....I will come back to try more ....
Food was great! I ordered seafood stir fry. The amount of seafood was good but the overall portion was smaller for my appetite. I ordered fried tofu to go but I ended up eating it there because I was still hungry. They had given me fried fish by mistake. It was still really good. The menu is diverse and there is still a lot to try to get to know the restaurant.
My friends who lived in Vietnam recommended this place. It’s good but not if you’re vegetarian. There aren’t many vegetarian options. My table ordered things not vegetarian like the summer rolls and a meat pho (I don’t remember what) For me, I ate the vegetarian pho. I love the vegetarian meat; it’s so soft and falls apart in your mouth. I also ate a little rice cake without meat. To be honest, without meat, it doesn’t have much flavor. I also also ate the crispy pancake with mushroom. I really liked the crispy parts. They were a bit oily, though.

The food is okay but a little small for the price—nice and clean restaurant. Friendly staff service 😄

The customer service was great, & the place looked really nice. Although the food was overall presentable & warm, it missed the mark with taste…no spice or umami, just bland. This was unfortunate as Saigon street food should be packed with flavor. Hope it improves in the future!
Friendly service and food was ready super fast. The interior decor was nice too. As for food, the bread it’s great and the mini crispy pancakes. The other dishes we tried were just ok. It lacked a bit of boldness and dimension in flavor and portions were below average for the price. The drinks were pricey.
I ordered the Bún Bò Huế and a few other dishes to go. The food was decent overall, but the portions felt a bit small for the price. It wasn’t bad, just not quite worth what I paid. I probably wouldn’t choose this as my go-to spot for Vietnamese food.
This place could use some work. We ordered 5 items and overall I think they are over priced for the portions. 1. Banh khót (1/5). It was so greasy that you can see the oil still on top of the bánh. The shrimp were quite small. I was still burping up the grease hours later. I would probably changed this to appetizer and use more than one shrimp for $8.50. 2. The thai tea and lime soda. Both are good, but again the portions are too small for how much they were charging. There was no need to use disposable cups when the portions are that small, noone would have any left over 6o take home. 3. The mignon pho (4/5). This was good. Not the best pho I've had, but good still. However for the price, the bowl should not be smaller than my tiny Asian hand. 4. The bánh xèo (5/5). It was delicious and the vegetables are super fresh. The batter was top tier. Not greasy at all (so I wonder why the bánh khot was so greasy). One thing I will say is to include more shrimp. I counted 5 small shrimps in a giant bánh xèo. Again for the price, you guys should consider putting some more in. 5. The restaurant was nice, but we were hit by the afternoon sun that I had to wear sunglasses indoors. Maybe get some bigger shades.
Ordered the (s1) banh mi and (a3) pork spring roll. Food was very mid. A bit stingy on the pork and it not cooked enough to were it had any sort of sear. Sandwich was pretty soggy. Spring roll was okay. Honestly very forgettable food and probably won't be back
I think if you’re new to Viet food, this place wouldn’t be a bad place to start. However, as someone who knows her viet food, this place was pretty mid. I got the spring n egg rolls to let my boyfriend try them and both were very disappointing in taste and size (like only 2 or 3 small pieces???). I would’ve been better off eating an actual dish because then it wouldn’t have felt I wasted money. The pho my bf got was good but I felt like the broth could’ve been more flavorful. My friends said the com tam and bun Bo hue (not pictured) were good though. Again, not a horrible place to eat Viet food. Just interesting how for a place located in an Asian center, the food does not seem high quality.

I recently dined at District One Restaurant and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the enticing pictures of their food on the menu, the reality fell short. The dishes did not resemble the appetizing images advertised. Moreover, the prices were unjustifiably high considering the quality of the food. Overall, District one Restaurant fails to deliver on value, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience. They also automatically charge an 18% tip, not stated anywhere on the menu.
we really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was not worth it. i got stir-fried shrimp noodles (13.99) and chicken fried rice (11.99) for takeout earlier this afternoon. i just opened the containers, and the portion size was extremely tiny for the price i paid. i have been to other restaurants in the area that charge less and give larger portions. the shrimp stir-fried noodles had a total of 4 pieces of shrimp, and only enough noodles for one small serving. the rice quantity is very little and is barely filling the bottom of the box. i understand that costs are expensive, but there are other establishments with food actually worth the price. while it tastes generally good, it is overall not worth the price i paid.
