After eating there tonight we thought the food and service was terrific. We received our meals quickly. Portion sizes were great and they were even open on a Sunday evening. Would recommend.
Service was great, it was very busy being right a lunch time but the food came out nice and hot and delicious. Even with it as crowded as it was it wasn't very loud in there. Food was reasonably priced. Enjoyed it very much.
Clean open atmosphere. I was there with a fairly large group and our server was prompt, professional, and didn't get anyone's orders or bills mixed up. The food is fantastic as well!!
My family have been coming to the amish country for years now and enjoy discovering new places. I’m so happy we’ve found this place. I had the pork street tacos, my wife order a quesadilla for us to share and nachos. The flavor was spot on and the amount they give you 🙌🏽🙌🏽 We will definitely go back when we’re in town.
Our first trip to Habaneros was in November 2022 and we have been back many many times since then. We have yet to have a bad item on the menu! This has quickly become our favorite local eatery, and we take all of our visiting friends and family here and they love it as well. If you are considering a place to eat in Sugarcreek, you absolutely must go to Habaneros!
Attending the UCamp rally and decided to stop for a bite and a drink. Wonderful indoor\outdoor space with a beautiful view of the golf course. No beer on draft but good selection of bottled beers. Ordered the nachos to share and they were fabulous. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. We will return. Visiting the area a year later and really enjoyed lunch and dinner. Very generous portions, served hot from the kitchen. Margaritas were delicious.
This is a very nice open dining experience. They offered several entrees in both lunch and dinner version. My lunch version was very excellent; because I can't eat flour, I asked for a fajita burrito without the tortilla and they accommodated without hesitation. The covered outdoor patio overlooking the golf course is a really nice aspect to this restaurant. Seating was plentiful and spacious and the view was spectacular. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again.
Food was good, a little pricey in comparison to others in the area. Beautiful atmosphere
The food had really good flavor. Spicy, but not too much. I had the Chicken fajita taco salad, it was delish! The table ordered the 3 dips with the chips, all were flavorful. Service was ok, but there was a big language barrier, which could have been why I felt he was a little grouchy? Nothing too bad though. Chips were overdone, but edible. They definitely need a sign outside! If we hadn't been referred to it, we would have never known it was there. Even from the parking lot, we questioned if there was a restaurant inside. Anyway, its worth a try if you are in the area.
Walking in you could smell nothing but cleaner. The server was not very friendly but got the job done. I had the chicken soup which was the better part of the experience. As far as good Mexican food I would say it is meh.
Grab a bag of bagels for us. I ordered the chimichanga and got two 3 in.² deep fried things filled with shredded chicken. Nothing else in it barely any cheese sauce on top of it. That is not a chimichanga. You didn’t have to wait long, but our server was very inattentive. Never came over and asked us if we needed anything else to drink any more salsa nothing. I had to catch her on her way by just to ask for more salsa for us. The parking lot was so dark when we just left. The ground is uneven and hardly lit up. Someone without a disability could easily hurt themselves, let alone the elderly or disabled. Add lights to your parking lot before someone falls.
Not much indoor seating and indoor isn’t much cooler than outdoors. The only difference is the amount of flies you have to contend with outside. Service was great. Menu is very minimal. Didn’t ask for outdoor seating but was led directly there due to minimal indoor space. Too hot to even finish my food - which was good.
Not impressed with the food at all especially the street tacos 🌮 not seasoned at all. Stuffed jalapeno appetizer was good though . Top shelf margaritas decent but pricy. I sure do miss superior grill back home in New Orleans Louisiana. If you ever there be sure to try that place. I take some of that back top shelf margaritas very strong and fresh juice forsure. Queso average salsa not good but overall good except the unseasoned tacos ⚜️
The chips were good but the salsa was the worst I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Bland. The entree was just ok, nothing special. My steak was tough and entire meal didn't have much flavor. Best part was the Raspberry Mojito. My husband liked his seafood dish. Overall, disappointed.
Seafood burrito was good as a dinner but a little under seasoned. My husband's says burrito grande and it was smaller than mine. And that was the best part of our experience. Some of our table didn't even get what they ordered. And my margaritas sampler didn't come until AFTER my food and that's because I had to remind her. She actually forgot. The atmosphere is decent but we sat in the out door room and the music was too loud to even have a conversation between the 8 of us. And the server couldn't hear us. I'm very disappointed 😞
I tried coming here for dinner and I called beforehand to see if they were open, noone answered the 3 times I called. We were only a few minutes away so we decided to drive there anyways to check, thinking they were busy. We got there and found out they were closed but saw 2 workers inside, tried to call again and noone answered. I understand being short staffed but then you need to update your hours to let customers know!! Very unprofessional.
Just like everything their prices have gone up. When I call in to place an order, they don't listen, they are in a hurry to get off the phone. When I go in, its so loud sometimes that you can barely hear people at your table. Struggle with language barriers at times. Update: they were very rude with my son when he picked up our order. And they got things wrong and charged us for a queso that we didn't order.
Very cool experience to eat on the gorgeous golf course. Unfortunately that’s where the good ends. Chips & salsa weren’t good nor was the food. Service was slow and inattentive despite being the only ones there.
