La fontana es realmente hermosa, en mí opinión no se si tiene sentido pagar una entrada (aunque solo son €2 por persona) ya que la cantidad de gente es igual que antes. Yo fui después de las 10pm y puede tomar fotos sin necesidad de pagar lo recomiendo 🤓☝🏻

Fuimos sobre las 10h y ya había muchísima cola. A esa hora todavía no estaba abierto el acceso para poder acercarte a tirar la moneda, así que tocó esperar un poco. Sobre las 10:30h abrieron y nos dejaron entrar de forma gratuita. Sé que pocos días después empezaron a cobrar para controlar el acceso, así que tuvimos suerte. Aun así, estaba llenísimo de gente y apenas te podías mover con tranquilidad, pero es completamente entendible siendo uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Roma. Impresiona muchísimo en persona, es preciosa y tiene algo especial. Aunque haya muchísima gente, merece totalmente la pena verla y vivir el momento de tirar la moneda.

Entre las estrechas calles del centro de Roma, aparece este majestuoso monumento que impresiona por su tamaño y belleza. Ubicada en el histórico barrio de Trevi, la fuente, construida en piedra de travertino y marmol, contrasta con la extensa lámina azul turquesa del agua. De día y de noche, cuando está magníficamente iluminada, congrega a cientos de visitantes deseosos de inmortalizarse junto a este prodigio del arte barroco y su inigualable atmósfera.

Espectacular por la noche y por el día. Preciosa fuente en una ubicación que sorprende totalmente. Lo de tirar la moneda ya depende de cada uno pero no hay fuente igual. Hay siempre mucha gente. Pero también mucho movimiento por lo que enseguida tienes acceso a buenas vistas o a hacerte foto más cerca

Que belleza de fuente te encuentras en cuanto cruzas la esquina y llegas de entre sus diferentes calles estrechas. Este en el centro deberas caminar mucho para verla, por suerte no había multitudes solo esta afluente de turistas. No se paga por verla de cerca pero no puedes tocarla te sacan los guardias de seguridad. En febrero si cobraran para verla. Es bellísima.

Si van después de las 21 hrs no hay fila y se pueden hacer fotos muy bonitas con la luz que hay de los faroles par ce de día. Con respecto a los alrededores muy pintoresco y nos contó la guía turística de civitatis que en marzo comenzarán a cobrar 2 euros por visitarla fuera de la moneda que cada uno quiera arrojar

Hoy en día deberás pagar €2 para poder tirar las monedas y tocar su agua... si arrojas una moneda por encima del hombro, volverás a Roma; dos monedas te asegurarán un romance con un italiano/a; y tres monedas sellarán un matrimonio. Otra tradición, nacida de una antigua costumbre, involucra beber de los caños laterales para el amor duradero, y existe una historia sobre el "As de Copas", un jarrón que bloqueaba la vista de un barbero crítico.

Ok, yo sé que quieres tu foto aquí. Yo conseguí las mías en plena semana santa (súper concurrido) y me fui a las 5:00 am para poder conseguirlas y valió totalmente la pena ya que no había nadie, comenzaron a llegar alrededor de las 6:00 am y todavía era buena hora para sacar fotografías. I had seen the Trevi Fountain before, so this time I almost skipped it because of the rain and cold weather. Still, standing in front of it again felt different. Even on a gray, rainy day, the fountain was stunning and full of life, with the sound of water echoing through the square. I couldn’t help thinking about whether I would ever return to Rome, so I followed the tradition and tossed a coin into the fountain. Stunning place where 3 aquafers converge. There was a queue to get near to the fountain but it was worth it. Make sure to throw a coin over your right shoulder and make a wish. Plenty of police, felt perfectly safe in this area. Was very busy considering it was the middle of January.

Although this was one of the busier sights we visited today, we expected it to be busier than it was. You do have to pay a couple of euros to get up close to it, but there were few people doing this and it was easy to get up close with no crowd. You can still view if from a few meters back, free of charge and although this area was busier it was not too bad.

Definitely impressive. Definitely crowded. Go early if you want to avoid the crowds, but it will still be busy at night. Good crowd control with the guards moving everybody along and blowing their whistles to keep people out of the water. Don't forget to go around to the right side and drink water out of the water spout from the wall.

I went on my own early morning, and got some wonderful photos, and went back later with my family and didn't wait long. In peak tourist times, you will be waiting a while though. The Trevi Fountain was busy, but not overwhelmingly crowded. We only queued for about 15–20 minutes, and still managed to get a really good spot for photos. The atmosphere was lovely vibrant and enjoyable. Overall, it was a really nice experience and definitely worth visiting.

The crowd (on a Saturday night) was very well managed and we were quickly in a position to take pictures and create memories. Did you know that the Trevi fountain is the ending point for the modern version of the Aqua Virgo, an aqueduct that has supplied Rome with water since around 19 BC? That’s a very long time and quite a lot of water. I think that it is as beautiful as it is functional and very much enjoyed the time I spent gazing upon its magnificent marble and fluid excretion.

Crowded as usual! Best time to visit is early morning. Free entry queue to walk up till the fountain and throwing the coin. The streets are cobbled and might be tough to take strollers but many can manage if you can push nicely. A lot of cafes and gelatos near by to enjoy and spend some time.

Stunning! Photo won't give you justice. I'd say this is the first place you should visit. And go visit at day time and night time. It's just amazing. Beautiful. Avoid weekend, it's overcrowded. Literally like inside the concert. Night is less crowd but weekend was just chaos. Be careful of pickpocket. You can go inside Trevi but we couldn't even go closer. Plan ahead!

It’s beautiful. However, I believe there is some restoration or construction ongoing, so my family was unable to go down to the fountain the week of 21-28 November, 2025. We still got to see it, but it is fenced off and guarded by Italian police 24/7. Go really late at night for no crowds (pictured is like 2am local).

Es inmensa, preciosa y espectacular, no lo discuto. Pero cuando empiezas a andar por roma, ves la cantidad de monumentos y fuentes que hay… considero que se le da mucha voz a la fuentes. Más por su fama y por otra cosa. Enamorar.. enamora roma entera, no solo lugares en concreto.

The Trevi Fountain is undoubtedly beautiful and remains one of the most iconic sights in Rome. The fountain itself is stunning, full of history and impressive detail, and seeing it in person is still a special experience. However, the overall visit today feels very different compared to the past. The area is extremely crowded, with large queues and a constant flow of people, which makes it quite difficult to enjoy the fountain peacefully. Getting close enough to throw a coin has become complicated, and now you are required to pay to access the area near the fountain. In my opinion, this takes away from the charm of the experience. In the past, it felt more open and enjoyable, whereas now it seems more restricted and commercialised, as if the focus is partly on making money rather than preserving the magic. That said, you can still admire the Trevi Fountain from the outside and take photos, although even this can be challenging due to the crowds. One positive aspect is the surrounding area, which has some very nice cafés and coffee spots nearby, perfect for sitting down and taking a break. Overall, the Trevi Fountain is worth seeing, but expectations should be managed, especially regarding crowds and access.

The crowd is incredible… cannot see anything. There is a metal fence preventing visitors from getting too close; you must wait in long line to get down near the fountain … not sure if it is worth the time and money.

It’s quite a nice sight to see, but the crowd is really not doable. Way too busy during the day and you can barely see the fountain. Would recommend coming very early in the morning if you want good pictures.
