I was invited by a friend to have dinner here and ended up visting again next day for lunch. Food was clean, fresh and delicious. Lots of IPA options with honest prices. Staff and chef were welcoming, friendly, and I even got a hug 😅 I tried the fried chicken sandwich with homemade biscuits. Hint of sweet, lots of crunch. Yum. Their power bowl was wholesome and I enjoyed every bite. Keep up the great work. Visit you again next time I'm in town 🙏

Friendly staff - glad to see this fun spot reopen with both outdoor and indoor seating. My friend loved her vegan BLTA. I had a great açaí bowl. Glad to see they have good food options for kids. And nice booze selections. Good vibes and good grub.

Vegan scramble is the best in town! With vegan shaved parmesan and nectarine pico, it’s delicious and unique. Over half the menu is vegan which I greatly appreciate. The sangria is yummy and fruity and the restaurant’s atmosphere is adorable. It’s located just 2 blocks away from CBCB dispensary and operated by the same local family so it’s a great place to grab a meal or snack after picking up my CBCB treats.

Cutest, most delicious new neighbourhood spot! Everything was so fresh and flavourful, you can tell the ingredients are well sourced and carefully curated. Will definitely be frequenting and exploring the rest of the menu!

New fav breakfast spot, yummy food with personable owners. Cottage core vibes on the inside & girls brunch date vibes on the outside! Highly recommend their banana bread french toast, so filling and was paired with an amazing blueberry crema! Thanks, will be back soon!

Charming place looks tiny outside but surprisingly spacious inside. The chicken sandwich is massive and impossible to eat as a sandwich. Astoundingly fresh and zesty cole slaw is wasted when added as a topping to the already lumbering and slightly unbalanced meal. But the taste! By Freya's golden tears, the taste! Sweet and Spicy, Tangy and Fresh !! Crunchy and Munchy! Should be listed on the menu as chicken and biscuit. I'm going back today. In fact I am going right now. And you should to! MJC

Ashby Eatery is one of those places that surprises you in the best way. The food tastes fresh, balanced, and full of flavor—simple ingredients done really well. The menu has something for everyone, from hearty sandwiches to lighter grain bowls, and everything feels thoughtfully made. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere has a relaxed, neighborhood feel without trying too hard. Nice wine selection, fair prices, and an overall sense that people here love what they do. Easily one of my new favorites in the area.

The sandwiches and plates are delicious, healthy and affordable, staff are friendly, parking is ample with a dedicated parking lot, and WiFi! I hope a lot of Berkeley and East Bay residents spend time here & thrive this lovely new neighborhood spot.
