I recently had the pleasure of being served by Lulu at Charley’s, and I can confidently say she is one of the best employees I’ve encountered. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. Lulu’s attention to detail and friendly demeanor stood out throughout my visit. She was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured that every part of my meal was enjoyable. Despite the restaurant being busy, she remained attentive and efficient. What impressed me most was her ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. She went above and beyond to accommodate special requests and made sure everything was perfect. Her professionalism and enthusiasm truly enhanced the experience. Lulu is an asset to the restaurant, and I will definitely return because of the exceptional service she provided. I highly recommend visiting this location!

The food was so delicious and amazing service and very clean well and employees are so kind and I was service by manager Jordan he was so professional and very kind !!

Charley’s is a solid choice in the Med Center area for cheesesteaks & typical American food fare. Located conveniently off Main Street & Buffalo speedway tucked in the shopping center with the Spec’s Liquor, Raising Canes, & 7 Spice. The staff is mostly younger twenty somethings whom are generally good people with great customer service. The food is mid tier: not the greatest sandwich I’ve ever had, but by no means the worst. Coincidentally they have great soft-serve ice cream, but more often than not the machine is “broken” or the cones are stale. This is a major missed opportunity as far as I am concerned because with such a great recipe for ice cream that rivals McDonald’s different options, toppings fruit and otherwise could create a solid customer base. The interior is nice with wooden chairs and enough room to seat 40-45 people comfortably. It’s well lit and restrooms are offered which they do a good job of keeping cleans. Refreshment options are solid as well: soft drinks, shakes, tea, and juices with added fruit syrup that makes for a great drink.

I was really disappointed this time. I remember this place being much better in the past, but my Philly cheesesteak just did not hit the same. The flavor felt off and there was barely enough meat to make it satisfying. The portion of fries was small too, which did not help. I also tried the garlic parmesan boneless wings and did not enjoy those either. Overall, it was a letdown compared to what I remember, and not worth repeating for me.

The employee Kyonna and her manager were rude towards me. Kyonna intentionally gave me a beef steak instead of a chicken Philly coz I am Indian, inspite of me clearly ordering a chicken Philly. She even read back the order to me as chicken Philly sandwich before printing. And then handed me a beef sandwich. When I complained to the manager, he was concerned about supporting her and protecting his job, so he started saying things like I’m acting up. He did not return my money or give me the sandwich I wanted and said I should leave. When I was about to leave, he locked the door from inside and did not let me out. He said try going out now. Until another customer tried to open the door. I have never felt harassed like this before. I have also posted a picture of the way Kyonna served me the sandwich, with all the meat falling on to one side. Also, when I was walking towards my car, the manager again started taunting me by saying, ‘ohh so now you’re leaving, don’t you want your sandwich now?’. No wonder there are so many bad reviews about this place already.

Horrible quality! They gave me fries that tasted and looked like they were sitting for an hour. Stale and dry. The nerve! So I ask for fresh fries and these came out darker than I’ve ever seen this company’s fries! This photo was AFTER the bubbling grease drained from the fries they handed me. POOR oil. I saw them drain some oil and and it was pitch black!! Nasty. Also, got employees with their underwear showing and just unprofessional!

I ordered the old school Philly steak online picked up my order got home it was two orders of fries so I had to drive back to the store wait for them to make my sandwich let’s start the bread is not toasted it has barely any onions but I want lol say the guy that’s there on the week days does a wonderful job the man and lady that’s there today horrible the lady was in the phone while making food so not professional

I should’ve known something was wrong when he covered the onions with a bain-marie lol After getting the onions, went back to my car. Decided to taste the onions, it was salty. I bite into the cheesecake hoping for the meat to at least balance out the saltiness from the onions. The bite was even saltier! Turns out the steak was over season as well so it was just biting into salt on top of salt. The steaks were over cooked as well. Very dry. I don’t get upset over food because I work in the restaurant industry. The manager told me they’re just opened this week. That’s cool and all but food shouldn’t be this bad especially when you’re brand new. I would like to get a refund on one of the sandwiches that was inedible but the numbers don’t even work. I tried the number on their receipt and even google account but none worked.

I was looking to enjoy the offer but one and get one free and the lady on the cashier keep ask me you need 2 sandwich. There was a language barrier and the cashier didn't understand me because I didn't get what I paid for and I didn't understand her either. There was a language barrier and the cashier didn't understand me because I didn't get what I paid for and I didn't understand her either. I'm very upset that this happened and feel like I wasted my time waiting for this food that I didn't order. I explained to the cashier that she got my order wrong and she was trying to convince me that she gave me what I ordered. I didn't want to make a scene so I left with "the order". She should've corrected her mistake and given me what I asked for instead of arguing with me. She should be trained on customer service. Very disappointing.
