I could not be happier with my tattoo or my experience!! I worked at Lucky 13 over 20 years ago, once I heard they opened a tattoo place I knew I needed one!! I met my husband and all my good friends there while bartending downstairs!! April was amazing, I sent her some pictures and when my day came she drew what I wanted free hand on my arm and it was insane!! I am so love ! The entire experience was comfortable and worth the wait!

An awesome bar of bars. I went here midday and the bartender treated me and my girl to some samples of their wonderfully large selection of draft beers. Prices were a bit high but worth it for the ambiance. The place is beautifully decorated with a real heavy dark feel. Makes you feel like a badass as a bar should! Its a shame most bars aren't this good.

Went on a weekday, crowd clears out about midnight, but that's the norm for Alameda. The bartender was great and I was pleasantly surprised by the 2 ski ball games in the back, next to a pinball machine, pool table, and photo booth. The back patio was big enough to actually disperse the smoke rather than trap me in second hand hell like some other bars, so being a non smoker hanging out with chainsmokers, I was happy. Looking forward to another night full of $6 Jameson shots very soon.

I love this bar. Tons of good beer on tap and a punk-like atmosphere. Cash only is a little inconvenient but still worth getting cash out for. And Scolari's next door has awesome food you can eat inside Lucky 13.

My favorite bar in Alameda. I love all the cats! They always have a solid selection of amazing beers, sometimes even rare ones on tap. I love that there's an outdoor area to smoke and drink at the same time. I hate having to leave my drink to smoke at other places. And it's right next door to Scolari's! They'll bring your food over for you too!

Dog friendly bar with 10+ beers on tap! There's also an amazing burger place next door that will bring your food to you in the bar while you grab a drink. Pool table, arcade games, and a large outdoor patio! Fun decor and friendly bartenders.

Ive been a regular here for 6 years or so. Excellent service and atmosphere. Best ive experienced so far. Great beers from local brewers and a few imports. Bartenders are so chill and easy to talk to. Also they keep an eye put for u and make sure the place stays drama free. Always a good time here. Skee Ball, pool, pinball, and a back patio ensure theres never a dull moment.

One of the top three bars in Alameda. Hasn't changed for decades! Go there for many real ales, the best being the rare Russian River Pliny the Elder. Get a burger delivered from the place next door, the best burgers in the world!!

This place is always so comfortable. The staff is great. I love the outdoor patio. You can bring your dogs too.

I absolutely love this place! No matter what time of day it is or how busy it is, the bartenders are always pleasant and support cool. The energy is always good as well as the atmosphere. You can also get great food at Scolari's next door. So if you were in Alameda you have got to stop by and check it out.

Al was the bartender, and it was Thursday afternoon. We stopped for burgers at Scolari's and this is where we ate them. We had pale ales, they were excellent. As we ate other customers arrived and the atmosphere was open and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed an ideal experience. This made a great day even more amazing with friendly unassuming quality.

In town for a short visit and my friend said I NEED to go here and get the Blueberry Bleu cheese burger! She was not wrong!!! You'd think it was a strange combo but it's so Delicious!!!... Paired very well with my hard Pineapple cider! Great atmosphere, great vibe and pet friendly! Will be back!!!

Great selection of beers (805) and full bar. Cool staff and great atmosphere make you feel welcome. There's always good music playing, a pool table and games to entertain. A must stop for anyone in the area.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the food, I come by for the beer and the pinball machine. Lucky 13 also has skee-ball and one pool table, which is usually always in use. It's a fun place to hit up if you just want a quick beer and some games.

I miss the former original Lucky 13 in the Castro district. Not sure if this is a "sister bar" or not yet the name is a draw for me. Different vibe. This December Friday night was moderately crowded, everyone was friendly.

Pretty good local dive bar. On busy nights they've got like three bartenders usually, so you probably won't have to wait too long to get a drink if you can squeeze in. Music is pretty good but depends on who's bartending; I've heard everything from classic hip hop to modern Thrash Metal. No complaints here. I only take off one star because the atmosphere isn't my favorite. It's got nothing to do with the service, it's always been good here. The food has always been overpriced, but it comes with the convenience of having it delivered to you in the bar. Plus, it really is delicious. Just be prepared to drop $35 on a burger and fries and whatever drink you got. As for drinks, they've usually got a good mix of local craft beer, imported stuff, and cheap domestic stuff like PBR on tap. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone drink bud or Coors here, but it's California after all. Fine by me. They've got a great selection of bourbon, whiskey, gin, tequila, anything you'd want really. I'm not a cocktail guy so I can't really speak on that front, but the one time I had a Moscow mule it was STRONG. So if that's your jam then you might be happy. Bartenders are great and pretty fast. It kind of amazes me how they always get my order right even when the music is incredibly loud. On that topic, it gets LOUD on Friday nights and weekend nights in general. If you wanna have a good conversation with your buddy, go to the back patio or somewhere else. Weeknights are better for that, too.

Went on a Saturday mid afternoon was pretty busy but not too packed. I would say this is a mix between a Irish pub and a punk rock bar. Cool location bartender was super nice lady about 45. Crowd seemed cool. Bathroom was questionable though graffiti from floor to ceiling

The place had a great atmosphere. Very diverse types of people. All different types of people. It was great. Music was good. We didn't eat anything here so I just gave the food 3 stars. The shots of tequila were generous, so no complaints there. The only complaint I have is the bartender lady with black hair and tattoos was kinda rude at times. When you asked for something, she acted like you were bothering her. She wasn't very friendly at all. That's the only reason why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. And the reason why I gave service only 2 stars. If you don't like your job, Go Home! Other then that, it's a great place. We had a good time.

The beer collection is good. The vibe is a little divey and a little not. The patio outside is really pleasant on a sunny day! They don't serve food but the burger joint next door delivers to Lucky 13, which is great.

Stopped by here on the way home to use the restroom and stayed for a beer since this nice gentleman part of a celebrate of life party offered me a beer. The atmosphere of the place is divey which I absolutely love, very friendly people…… except for the bartender. Seemed like a busy day with only her behind the bar but she was very avoidant to me since I walked in the door. Yes, I look young but I also have nine years of bartender experience. She stuck up her nose instantly, even though I had my ID ready like I usually do cause I look like I could be underage still. (meh 😔🤭) I just felt bad for the dude that just lost someone being treated so poorly just because he bought me a beer after closing out. (Which she also said she had a 20 minimum, which isn’t true being a bar. You are gonna force everyone to spend 20 if they only wanted a $8 beer) Tisk Tisk. Hopefully it was just a bad day and maybe they had rubbed her wrong, I would still check it out. Cool little spot.

Been going here for a while and it's got some pretty good beer. The last two times I went, the female bartender with black hair and tattoos I feel is racist. My wife and I have done nothing wrong to deserve the treatment (or lack of). Stood in line for a beer, and I was clearly next, but she went to the people to my left, the people to my right and just skipped me. I stood there for 10 minutes trying to get her attention, even when I locked eyes with her and think I'm next, she goes to the next couple that just came in. Sadly, I won't be back. This used to be a cool bar, maybe swap out the racist bartenders. Alameda doesn't deserve this.

So I’ve lived in the Bay Area for a while & ever since I was a young teen I’ve been aching to go to this place once I turn 21. One night out on the town & I was finally given the chance to visit! I order and paid for a drink for my girlfriend & things are good. However the bartender was really rude & kicked us out for bringing an outside drink. What was jarring was his temper towards the whole situation! We thought he was playing around when he approached us aggressively & took our drink away, but once he threw it away & poured my girls drink into a to go cup we knew this display of toxicity was no laughing matter. Under no circumstances were we warned that no outside drinks were allowed: personally I would have stepped out, no big deal. But the way we were treated was nothing like I’ve ever expected from the bar I’ve been wanting to go since forever. Cool place but the bartender made me cry so will definitely not be going back. :[ 👎

The bartender and security had the audacity to kick me out because of this instead of checking on me to see if I was okay. Worst customer service and don’t care about you or your well being!

Bar/bartender cleanliness made me hesitant to drink from here so I left without ordering after waiting 30 minutes for someone to take my order. The bouncer/barback was clearly under the influence and almost snapped my ID (I’m in my 30s). There are much better places nearby.
