Slingshot Betty told me about Q's Sandwich Shop and said they put out the best roast beef sandwich in the city. Well....That's a pretty tall statement, so I put on my kickin boots fired up the Ram and headed straight to SF. I made the Golden Gate in an hour and was heading up Divisadero like I owned it, found a great parking spot, and only had to walk a half block to Q's It was a typical unassuming neighborhood joint, a spot the locals would go to everytime they wanted real honest food. I got that roast beef sandwich that Slingshot was so proud of and let me describe it in 2 words... Wow and Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

My friend and I were here for lunch, it was delicious! We had the pulled pork and the tuna sandwich, it was so juicy and flavorful. Will def be coming back!!!

Fast, tasty sandwiches. Got the charcuterie and asked them to toast it which they were nice enough to. One sandwich would be enough for one person for a meal or two for a snack. All ingredients were fresh and the focaccia was soft, bouncy, and tender in all the best ways. Street parking around and down the street was sparse but readily available a block or two away.

The sandwich was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would prefer the soup with a little less salt.

I came here for late breakfast and got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. It came quickly and the server brought out a table special for me to sit at outside! It was so tasty, and perfectly toasted. I would come again!

I can’t say enough positive things about Q’s Sandwich Shop. Beyond making incredible sandwiches (my favorite is definitely the turkey pesto, but I’ve learned you can’t go wrong and they are happy to make recommendations!), they offer wonderful service - the owner will always greet you with a smile, knows his regulars, and makes sure to pay every person who comes by special attention. This place should be on the SF best sandwich list radar - no question. They are also always innovating - trying out new sandwich ideas and new sides, so every time you go back, you can discover something new! Admittedly, I’ve been coming here for years, but I always eat my sandwiches so quickly that I forget to take a picture… Love this place.

Great little sandwich shop. I had the roast beef and split it with my husband. They were nice enough to cut it in half and serve it in two separate baskets, which was a thoughtful touch. The sandwich was very flavorful and delicious. I honestly was not expecting much from a simple sandwich place, but this far exceeded my expectations.

Wandered by and was drawn in by the aroma. Ordered the special written on the calk board because it was a bolognese grilled cheese and OF COURSE I’m going to order that. Oh…..mygod….that sandwich was a pleasure tour for my mouth. The sauce was so savory and meaty. The bread buttery and toasty with parsley and everything delicious. And chips?? What? Yes, chips, and they were perfect. What a treat to have happened upon this place.

I got the chicken salad sandwich special and it was soooo good! Other places make the mayonnaise do all the work, but at Q’s the chicken salad was very flavorful. I love when sandwich places have a focaccia option, it shows that they want to stand out and aspire to do more than just the basics. Was nice to have the firm bread balance out the chicken. I’m someone who tends to eat the same five foods over and over again, but I make an exception when I go to Q’s because they’re always trying new things . At other restaurants, I’ll order the same meal every single time, but at Q’s I am a lot more interested in tasting their new specials or combinations. I’ve never been disappointed. They know what works! The owner provides such excellent service, he often brings it out himself and will walk it out to your table. I HIGHLY recommend coming back multiple times because the owner is great with faces and often offers regulars a drink sample or even a free bag of chips!! If you live near Divisadero street you definitely want to make this your sandwich place!!

The reviews do not lie. This place is amazing, their food is so delicious. My partner found this place by accident, but now a beautiful accident. The BALT is good. The tomato soup is amazing and the pulled beef (daily special from what the guy said) is the best thing in my opinion. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I’m not from the area but I found this place on google. Seemed like a good place to have sandwiches. Man I am impressed these sandwiches are super amazing rich in taste. I got the turkey pesto guy recommended it. Super helpful and offer substitutions. Glad I came here !!

Ordered the turkey pesto sandwich on focaccia bread and substituted avocado for the bacon. It was so delicious! Bread was soft and the flavors were well balanced. All the ingredients were also very fresh. The store owner was incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Wow. Incredible sandwiches at a decent price. The menu had just enough options to make for some unique choices, but not so many as to take away from the quality. I’m not even a sandwich person, but my roast beef on sourdough with bacon jam was to die for. Pickled onions are worth their weight in gold. Even my picky daughter finished her grilled ham and cheese.

I live on the same block with this place, and I have eaten Q’s sandwiches a handful of times and it is always a great experience from any possible perspective. As the food consumer and simply a neighbor I see that the owner cares about his place, food quality, the menu items variety, and feedback. New menu items or specials are there every time I go! Wonderful, cuz I love trying new things every now and then. Furthermore, a good number of healthy options are also presented for any of us who have their diet restrictions/priorities/preferences. And a couple cherries on top of said above: IT IS SO DELICIOUS. It’s just GOOD, FRESH, the sandwiches are good sized. My last discovery was (listen … you must try!!!!) THE FRENCH TOAST BREAKFAST SANDWICH It’s just so good, it goes as a vegetarian item in the menu by default, but I add to it some ham and Serrano (hot) peppers!!!! I am salivating now ))) lol The bottom line is my personal experience is just above any of expectations for a sandwich place. Thank you guys so much. K. Wanna add that the specials are worth to ask for, it always changes and today it’s a chorizo avocado sour cream wrap!

Hands down the BEST sandwiches in the Bay! 🤌🏾 The food is 100/10. The owner Q is very personable and hand makes anything you order right there. The atmosphere is very inviting and feels like you’re right at home. Customer service is a 10/10. Every ingredient is fresh and flavorful. I’ve ordered the same Q’s special sandwich 3 different times and it was 🔥 every single time. I can go on & on about how great this place is but i think you should try it so you can understand just how great the food really is. Hidden Gem in SF for sure!

Super overpriced. They even increased the prices from the menu uploaded 5 months ago. If I’m paying $20 for a single sandwich it better be life changing. Regardless, the food was fine. But the portion was smaller than I expected. Service was friendly.
