Peet's Coffee

Coffee not ready upon arrival. After waiting over 5 minutes return to counter to find that it had been sitting at the end of the counter employee was too busy to deliver was on his phone then outside vaping when he should have been working. A cleanup of the service station was in order trash overflowing from the bin debris all over the place. Clearly employees do not value their jobs Nor good customer service sadly

Best coffee. But it was hot so this time I ordered iced hibiscus tea- super refreshing!

Huge shoutout to the staff working here during the power outage. They were working so hard to get orders out to people quickly and it felt like all of Alamo and Danville was there getting their coffees. Staff was keeping their cool, getting orders out and communicating with each other.

Peet's is the best. I drive across town to get the perfect mocha. Not too sweet like the other bucks guys. Always over tip because it's important to support the staff. Thanks for being so cheerful and welcoming.

I just got coffee with delivery to my home. It was great. Hot and fresh. It was frist time to ask for delivery. They did a great job. Thank you so much. I really love to go this coffeshop. All employees are super nice and friendly. They always have a smile and I think its very important to see happy faces there. Thank you so much.

I like this Peet's...partly because of the staff mostly because of the location. To me, Pete's is still that down to earth, chaotic coffee shop. There can be a slight delay in getting your drink so enjoy the scenery while you wait 😉 Oh and, there's plenty of parking and walking 60' won't kill you!

I love the consistency of level of customer service at Peet's. I've visited several through the years, and I always find their staff friendly, helpful and cheerful. A bit like a coffee Disneyland. Keep up the great work!

Coffee is good the grilled cheese was absolutely horrible. They sell and serve soggy uncooked food. Do not recommend if you’re hungry there’s better coffee options with food. Disappointed never had that from a Pete’s. The extra drive to Phil’s Coffee in Walnut Creek is the one to check out.

The cappuccino drinks several years ago were hand pulled and barista-crafted. Today they really lack the basics - a balanced ratio of espresso, steamed milk and milk foam. Even when I order one dry, it lacks 1) velvety texture, and 2) a rich, and 3) a flavorful taste. And I have ordered with both 2% and whole milk. The one I had today was a milk bomb even though it was ordered dry. It really disappoints me as I came to love Peets pre-Covid and before it went trendy and semi-automatic.

On may way to Napa I stopped there and ordered 2 drinks. I asked if I could use the restrooms and was told they are closed due to Covid, upon which I was directed to go to a nearby Safeway or Chevron. I was disappointed that a food establishment wasn’t providing customers restroom access to a restroom; I understand there is a pandemic but it seemed odd that we would need to go to even more public places and expose ourselves to find a restroom, even more so considering that a majority of coffee shops I visit still have restrooms for customers. I hope that they can reconsider their policy so that the experience is better for customers.

Update. Store's gone downhill. Drink's quality has gone down. What's the deal with the training? It's like the barista has only been there 2-3 times and had someone else complete their training for them 🤔.

I had asked if they could change it and give me a new one and they said they couldn’t. Whenever they mess up or don’t do a good job on my coffee at other Peet’s coffee shops they happily take it back and give me a new one. It was so bad I could not drink it so I had to throw it away.

To better understand if this was an isolated incident or a pattern, I’ll be asking several of my Asian friends to visit and observe. Any further action will depend on what they experience.
