The best Thai take out we have ever had. So happy with it that we will drive past our local by 20 minutes to collect from Kat. Always great communication and diet adjustments on dishes, always greeted with a smile on collection and the food is like being picked up and dropped in Thailand. Beautiful and flavour explosions in every dish we have had. Would recommend to any and everyone.

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. Kats cooking is like magic that lasts in your mind as memories forever. Kats Cuisine was my go-to takeaway when I was studying at the University of Hertfordshire. Run by the incredible Kat and her husband Alan, this family business is one you would definitely like want to support. Apart from their amazing food, their hospitality and communication is top-notch too! Kat and Alan are both incredibly sweet people, who I am still in touch with even after graduating almost two years ago! I miss Kats food sooo much and I hope I have taste it some time soon!!! They have an incredible menu with lots of vegan options, which is what first grabbed my attention. Our regular order would include Tom yum soup, spicy papaya salad, vegan Singapore noodles, vegan Pad Thai, vegan pad horpa aubergine, Thai red curry, Thai green curry, Masaman curry, prawn crackers and rice. The quality of the food was always delectable, Kat herself goes to source authentic Thai ingredients so that her customers can enjoy the authentic flavours. I was also blown away by the vegan meat substitute that Kat prepares, the texture, the taste, everything about it is just so exquisite. I can’t speak enough about the amazing taste of the food, all I can say is my mouth is watering and I can taste her cooking while I write this review, haha! Thank you so much Kat for blessing us with your wonderful home-cooked meals and bringing authentic Thai food to our taste buds! I have ordered deliveries from Kats Kitchen many times. The food come on time and is alway hot. The food is delicious and definitely the best takeaway food I have eaten. The portion sizes are good. If you haven't tried food from Kats Kitchen, you should. You won't be disappointed.

Time and again Kat prepares delicious meals for us! You can really taste the freshness and the heart put into the cooking. The green and red curry are our favourites. And both of my kids love the chicken satay and plum sauce. Such a great local find! Collection is always super easy and the food is piping hot.

I’ve lived in Thailand for a year and visited 5 times since. I find it very difficult to find authentic cuisine of the same quality as what I enjoyed there. Look no further than Kat’s kitchen. She uses the freshest ingredients and has a master touch with every dish. She is Thai and has a huge wealth of experience and great talent. Portions are generous and bursting with flavour, prices are very reasonable and we polish off whatever we get. Our personal favourites are the chicken and cashew nut dish and the prawn red curry. Alan, who is Kat’s husband, deals with the orders and hands over the food and he is delightful so they are the dream team. We have tried all the Thai eateries in St Albans (except for the latest one to have opened up) and none compare to Kat’s dishes. We find it easier to pick food up from a residential address, though Alan can also deliver. As we live in AL1, it’s highly convenient for us. Enjoy!

The best Thai takeaway ever! Thai is my absolute favourite food and Kat’s is the best I’ve ever had, even compared to when I’ve been to Thailand. The flavours are incredible and you can really tell that everything is freshly prepared. The service is also amazing. Feel very lucky to have such an incredible takeaway nearby and I need to order more often!

The food is fantastic. I have used Kat’s over the past 5 years or so and have never had a dish that I haven’t raved about. The Asian food tastes authentic, has fresh, high quality ingredients and flavours that you could only dream of. The delivery service is excellent and , if you collect, everything is always ready on time. But most of all, the food is wonderful.

We regularly order food from Kat's Thai, it is the best Thai food takeout I've ever had. Everything tastes delicious and is packed full of lovely ingredients. The kids meals are great too, the homemade fried chicken is lovely. Everything feels like it's been made with care. Kat always tries to accommodate us with a collection slot even at short notice, and communication is always quick and friendly. Would highly recommend Kat's Thai (and I do to all my friends!)

Simply the best Thai food in the region! Ever since I moved to the UK from Asia and had the first taste of Kat’s cooking, I was blown away with the authenticity of the flavours. I’ve been a big fan since and always order some dishes when we have guests, to showcase the quality of food in St Albans. Alan’s service has always been efficient and extremely warm and friendly. It’s a top experience all around from the moment of ordering, to receiving the food, all the way to enjoying the flavours. Highly recommend!

Kat makes THE BEST Thai food. The menu is so varied and she caters for fussy little eaters too! I love ordering take-away, whether it’s just for the family or for friendly get-togethers. I have also booked Kat to cater parties for me. The portions are generous and super tasty. One of my favourite dishes is Larb Kai, a fragrant minced chicken salad. It’s so refreshing and light. This is an incredibly enterprising home catering family who also supports local community activities. Kats Oriental Cuisine is my #1 choice for Thai food in St Albans. Absolutely delicious!

Kat's Cuisine is the tastiest Thai food outside of Thailand and I'd argue, it's still the best! A huge selection of dishes, vegan and vegetarian options also, so everyone's happy and made as spicy as you like. We usually find Thai food bland when eating out but Kat's food is authentic and packed with flavour!! My whole family love her food. I cannot recommend her enough. I've enjoyed every dish that I've had, one of my many favs is the spicy mango tofu salad...delish! The chicken massaman is a staple fav with my family. A must try if you like authentic Thai!!!

I’ve been to many restaurants, those which include restaurants that have multiple Michelin stars. I am super critical with reviews, but I never thought it would come to the day I would say this.. but this food “is food that brings you back home… back home to your mother”. That’s so rare in this day and age and think how much of an expert someone has to be to create that with Thai food for someone coming from Sri Lankan origin. Every ingredient is fresh, the blend of spices, the quality of meat and the food expertly made brings a dish which is truly homemade and delicious. I have never experienced anything that tastes truly homemade from a restaurant outside the home. I feel great after eating this too compared to other takeaways as it’s so natural. This is hands down the best restaurant in St Albans. Kat and her partner are such a superb couple running this restaurant, they are incredibly kind and accommodated to a special birthday request. They both came out and greeted us, which was super kind of them and proved many things but the biggest.. this is homemade food, food made from the heart. You want to try true Thai food.. don’t bother with the £800 flight, come here - to this very place a drive away in a lovely home situated in St Albans and you will experience it first hand. Felt like we were back in Thailand! Loveliest owners serving truly authentic home cooked Thai food! We had mixed starter, Tom Kha soup, Pad Thai and Beef Penang curry. All were perfect, pure quality and freshness. On top of the amazing food was the customer service, whether it be taking the time to provide recommendations as first timers, the smooth collection and just being so welcoming, it felt like family were cooking for you. Wow. A perfectly cooked Thai with fresh ingredients. This was our first order and we had Chicken Green Curry and Beef Massaman Curry, with fish cakes and spring rolls. The beef was lovely and soft and the veg spring rolls were probably the best I have ever had. Good size portions as well, can really recommend Kats Cuisine and am looking forward to exploring more from her menu. Very friendly reception when we came to collect the food as well. Truly worth the many recommendations on the reviews.

Kat's Cuisine is honestly, the best Thai food I have had in the UK. It is definitely the best take away, and the price point, considering the quality, is fantastic. The seasoning is so delicious and fresh. It smells wonderful when you open it up. Generous portions, and does not sit heavily at all. We had a leaflet in the post from Kat, and loved the idea of real home cooked food. Also, the flavours in the UK made Thai food are usually lacking (understandably) and I was hoping for authentic tasting food. We are so happy we tried this. It is our new regular.

Kats cuisine provided outstanding food for our dinner party. We placed the order the day before and the communication was easy and a pleasure. Despite having placed an order for eight people, all of our dietary needs were met. I have to say the Singapore noodles were the best I have ever tasted. The portions were perfectly sized and we had food left over which always makes me very happy the next day. The quality of ingredients were really good also. We had vegans, vegetarians, people who can’t handle spice among others, and everyone was really happy with their food. We will definitely order from here again.
