Really good Chinese food. The dumplings seem to come in baskets of 4, like the Xaio Long Bao. Lots of noodles and other dishes over rice. There’s an order kiosk near the entrance with plenty of pictures, makes it easier to order if you don’t speak or read Chinese. They advertise no tips. Prices are relatively good for NYC

Kitchen 999 in Flushing recently started serving breakfast at 7:30am and it’s very affordable. Combos start at $5.99 and include a main dish and a drink. They have Hong Kong–style options like French toast, sandwiches, rice rolls, and toast with noodles. A great spot for a quick and budget-friendly breakfast.

Kitchen 999 is an exceptionally great place to eat ! the young lady who runs the place is super kind and personable, she always greets me with a smile and the food is always fresh and delicious ! I often come by after work to pick up some scallion pancakes but they have so many great dishes my wife and I enjoy like the fried chicken cutlet over rice , eggplant with garlic sauce , shredded pork and bamboo shoots and fish fillet with preserved cabbage . Honestly you can’t go wrong here .

Had a great experience at Kitchen 999 in Flushing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The menu has a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone in the area!

Left the perfect amount of napkins at the perfect distance, even tucked them into my shirt like a bib when they saw I was dropping noodles. Are all Cantonese people so nice like this?

The braised beef soup noodle is perfect for a cold winter meal, dumplings were solid and the two items were served with complimentary tea . A tasty quality meal that is fairly priced .

The dumplings are little too sweet for my taste, but I am sure someone will tell me that’s how Shanghai foods is, lol. The service is really good, waitresses are nice. My husband doesn’t like his pork chop much, but I like my pork belly over rice dish

Me and my friends were here yesterday. their service was okay, the food was pretty Meh. some dishes were even disappointing. We won’t come back

We ordered pickup but when we arrived it wasn’t open. They still charged us without any answering from phone call????

葱油拌面一点味道都没有，真的很失望。感觉在吃白开水煮的面。服务员都没跟我们打招呼。感觉很不欢迎我们？好像店里是广东人。广东人都是这样的吗？坐在里面吃都好难受。 本来想给小费 但是态度真的太差了。我们就吃完直接走了，面留着一大碗都不想打包回家。 Don’t let the photo trick you. The scallion noodles tasted like absolutely nothing. It’s almost as if I just ate boiled noodles with hot water. There’s no fragrant scallion/ oil flavor??? Such a disappointment. Additionally, I’m not sure why, but the lady waitress did not acknowledge us at all. Brought us napkins but left it at the far corner of the table and we had to reach over and grab everything ourselves. I don’t even know her voice because she didn’t say a single word to us. She didn’t even look at us. Someone was having a horrible day it seems. Not even a glass of water was provided. Worst service ever. Before we left, I told my partner let’s give a tip just to be nice but my partner wouldn’t let me because of the horrible attitude of the waitress. Do better as a new business.

Service is bad. I ordered some food and a drink. They didn’t take my order because they only have one staff running around. We had to order our food with the machine ourselves. And it took them like 30minutes to bring us the drink after our food was on the table. They should hire more staff to work there.
