Best dumpling soups and pork steam buns. And fast. Great for lunch and or breakfast.
It's a blessing to live in Flushing, this place just opposite to my apartment. The taste of the steamed bun really reminds me of my childhood in China. It's been almost 15 years for me haven't tried authentic Baozi like this. It's really a representative of where there's a home, there is Lee and Bai. I suggest the introduction part on the TV with English subtitles.
The breakfast is so great! Steamed bun is very traditional and perfect!
Very fresh tasting — filling, dough. Really quick service but don’t speak English. User friendly tablet for non-mandarin speakers. Best to double check their mini menu adjacent to the tablet to see what is taped over — those items are out for the day. As another diner commented, only mini buns are available after 9am. Plenty of bench and table seating. Clean wooden decor .
Extraordinary wonton and congee. I go to this place often and would definetly reccomond it.
Very delicious steamed buns Will keep coming 👍👍
Love this place and their wontons in red oil! Quick and easy service!
Lee & Bai's buns are my go-to comfort food - always pillowy soft with generous fillings that hit the spot. Their homemade soy milk is the perfect sidekick, silky smooth and not too sweet. It's my favorite quick breakfast when I need a taste of home.
Great buns! Love all the flavors. Kevin is very nice and patient
I heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it! I tried the burns and soybean milk, they were delicious and fresh. Found my new breakfast spot!!
Lee&Bai meat buns are soooo good, the noodles are also excellent! The service is good! I hope to try other menus next time.
I visit every morning for my breakfast. Pretty good and fresh steamed baos in flushing, very kind service as well, highly recommend!
Lucky to find a good baoz place. Amazing food just as delicious as the chinese locations! Everything was tasty.
Small restaurant, but with lots of seats to dine in. Lots of delicious choices to choose from with reasonable choice. The customer service was good as well. Would totally go visit again.
Lee & Bai Buns and Noodle is a great spot in Flushing for fresh, handmade buns. Their Chengdu-style pork buns are juicy and flavorful, and the variety of fillings keeps things interesting. The place is clean, service is quick, and prices are reasonable. If you're in the area and craving some quality buns, it's definitely worth a visit.
A cozy atmosphere and very attentive staff . Got the mifen which is quite authentic. There are complimentary turnip appetizers, a common staple in Chengdu! Can’t speak about the buns haven’t tried them yet.
Pretty good fresh buns, very fast service. The smaller ones are a great snack to have. Not sure if they sell frozen ones but would definitely buy a bunch to steam up at home at my leisure if available! Note seems like single buns are only a available for breakfast and if you come after you will get the mini buns.
The fresh buns were quite good, and the service was fast. The smaller buns make for a great snack. I’m not sure if they offer frozen buns, but I’d definitely buy some to steam at home if they were available. Also, it seems that single buns are only available during breakfast hours; after that, you’ll get the mini buns.
The baos were very flavorful and and the soy milk was very savory. The prices were very good for the amount of food that was given and the food came out very quickly. The staff were very helpful and thoughtful
Both flavors are great, but the chengdu braised one is a bit better! The soymilk is really nice, highly recommended
Taste good! Strongly recommend the soy milk.
Excellent food, very authentic, a little spicy. My wife and I tried both the vegetarian buns as well as one of the noodle dishes without meat and everything was delicious. I recommend you try this spot if you’re ever in Flushing.
Absolutely loved this place! 🥟 The buns here are amazing — juicy, flavorful, and super affordable. Each basket comes with six buns, basically $1 each, which is unbelievable for NYC! The spicy beef bun was my favorite, full of rich flavor and heat. The soy milk drinks were also refreshing, especially the Tieguanyin one. The shop is clean, bright, and cozy — perfect for a quick, tasty meal in Flushing. Highly recommend!
One of the best bao buns I have ever had - my favorite was their Chengdu classic - buns were packed with fillings. Second favorite was the vegetarian one! I loved their soy milk drinks especially their cold one. The service was great - staff were so kind. You can see them making fresh buns while u eat. For $7 this was such a steal!!
I love the bao here!! I like the pork one and the pepper one is amazingly yum too! The bean noodle and soybean are just so tasty 😋

The taste is great — I really like it. I’ve been coming here for breakfast for a long time, and I recommend everyone give it a try.
Small but quiet spot to get your dumpling or bun fix. Hand made food just hits better.
Delicious. Freshly made buns. They have some unique flavors that are hard to find anywhere else.
Tried this place for the first time for lunch with coworkers the other day, and it was absolutely delicious. We got an order of the green pepper & braised pork buns and an order of the sprouts & braised pork buns, and my coworkers also got the spicy beef noodles and one of the porridge options. We ordered over the phone for pickup and the food was ready and waiting for us by the time we drove over, less than 15 minutes. The buns were soft and warm with a good amount of filling, which was flavorful and juicy. Will definitely order from this place again to try the other buns and their noodles.

I really liked the food, the noodles and the bao was delicious, but the fillings in the bao was too little, just too little. Please put more fillings.
I didn’t enjoy my spicy beef noodle. The beef chunks were dry and tough. I’m also not a fan of rice noodles and that’s what was used in the dish. The broth was mala spicy but that’s all I tasted. I really didn’t get any other hints of flavors other than mala. The Chengdu buns were more enjoyable. The filling differed from the usual pork fillings you find in other shops and the assortment of flavors would entice me to come back to try other buns. They were still just above average and nothing to write home about. I enjoyed their yogurt drink the most. The atmosphere was inviting and clean but the TV was on blast which took away from the dining experience. Service was perfunctory.

I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. While the food was decent, I found it to be overpriced for what was offered. One thing to note is that it’s a self-service setup, which I don’t mind, but there were no clear instructions on where to dispose of plates and trash. The garbage bins were tucked away in a corner, out of sight from the dining area, making it inconvenient. A little guidance or signage would go a long way in improving the experience.
Find a staff who can speak English pls.my girl friend came there to pick up.they have no idea what are her talking about.
This place used to have amazing buns. The flavor didn't change but the filling was reduced to a quarter‼️ You'll literally have to eat 2/3 of the small bun to eat any of the filling 🫤 I really loved this place but the paltry smear of filling is infuriating. I wished they reduced the amount of buns you get rather than the filling. It's like ordering premium ice cream and get served the fat free version, the flavor is there but the soul is gone.

The staff at this store has the worst attitude. It's very clear that they have zero hospitality training. I tried to order the buns, just asked a simple question as to whether the buns are spicy, the staff at the register just started yelling at me and gave me the worst attitude. I told him I am just a customer and not his enemy. He just asked another staff to come take my order. I really don't know what his problem is, but he should not take it out on me. Horrible experience!
I was excited to try this new place and finally made it after a few weeks, despite the difficult parking. After spending $40 plus tips, I received some good food, but also cold buns and water condensation from the AC falling straight into my food. The cashier, despite my efforts to make her comfortable and reassuring her not to worry about getting the order wrong, couldn’t understand any English ( zero problem for us ). Even so, she casually talked to her co-worker in Chinese, basically calling me stupid for not knowing if a particular dish was salty or sweet, even though I was just asking for more information. Ironically, we do speak Chinese, even if she couldn’t understand a single word of my English. Overall, never again.
Bro train your staff, I walk in and the two cashier you have can’t handle anything over 5 open order. You need to consider taking congee off the menu.
I’m not sure why there are so many five-star reviews. This place is just okay. I bought some meat buns, but the dough was RAW, and the meat was okish cooked probably they precooked the meat before steam the bun… Ya’ll really need to make sure the Bun is cooked I don’t want to eat some row dough.. really disappointed
Today I came at 1:00pm. I was told that only one type of buns was left. Then I asked them the size of the bun, it is about an egg. Then I decided to order 3 of them. And it costs $26? HOWEVER, when I see the buns were packed. It was in a takeout box with roughly 6 buns in them, which means I ordered 18 buns without knowing the fact that $7 for 5 little buns. This is NOT the way how you should do business man… Please don’t delete this comment because I screenshotted my comment already.
Just got food from there this morning. The buns are made from low quality meat. They messed up my order and forgot to several items. The only good thing about this place is the price.
Very bad, the food is not fresh, flavor is bad. I had their food for the first time, and I woke up at night with diarrhea!!!!!!!!
