Came here for all-you-can-eat BBQ during lunch. The meat quality is excellent — everything is fresh and flavorful. Our absolute favorite is the beef tongue! The service is attentive, and the variety of side dishes included in the AYCE menu is also impressive. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality BBQ in the area!

I have never been to any bbq place since I discovered Gan Hoo. Brought almost every friend group I have in NY to this place. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to try good bbq. I wish they also served AYCE for dinner, but their dinner menu is also of really good value

This is my second time here. This time we had the buffet. The meats was very fresh. Service was excellent. Waiters was very attentive and changed our grill every time we were done grilling. I think we had our grill changed 10 times without us asking. The portions were just right and not in enormous amounts where we would be wasteful. I would definitely come back many more times in the future.

Such an amazing lunch! I got the meat platter and it was perfect for me! They also have a ALL YOU CAN EAT with so many different kinds of meat, 11/10 recommended. My waitress was named KHAI and she helped me with everything and was so kind! A must stop for your nyc experience!

Amazing steak and very affordable dry aged steak. All the dry aged steak had sage and thyme underneath them for those subtle notes. I would give it two extra stars if I could. This is like Korean bbq but Chinese style and SO MUCH BETTER. The food quality is insanely high, pricing is very cheap for what it is. $40 for Ayce! Service is great and the atmosphere is nice too. I am honestly shocked lol. I’m a big fan of Korean bbq but I’ve never had it with a Chinese twist. Wow! If LA had this I’d never visit any other kbbq again. 🥲Don’t hesitate, come here!

Steak was excellent and delicious! So were the vegetables. It is some work to cook the food yourself, but at least it is cooked to perfection! Just the way that you like it. Also, kind of fun and has a barbecue feeling to it.

Great service - constant grill changing. Meats were good, but don’t sleep on dishes like the seafood pancake, Wagyu fried rice, and cheese corn (all very tasty). The birthday meat cake promotion, free pitcher of plum juice for review promotion, and free ice cream at the end make this place a really good deal.

Very modern place. Came on a Saturday night around 8pm with no reservations. Waited for about 10 mins and got seated. It was pretty busy but waiters were helpful. Scan the QR code for menu. We got the kingdom steak combo for 2 people and it was more than enough. Unlike k bbq, you cook everything yourself but I would still come back again. Everything was delicious!

The only minor critique was that the seafood pancake dipping sauce was a bit too salty, so we ended up using the complimentary dipping sauces instead. This place has a variety amount of meat to choose from. I had the AYCE option which they only have until 4:30pm. Their appetizers were great, my favorite was the smashed cucumbers and cheese corn.

This is one of the BBQ spots I find myself coming back to from time to time. The quality and flavor of the meat are well worth the price. Their watermelon juice and stair platter are must-orders, and there are plenty of other interesting menu items worth trying as well.

Really impressed with this KBBQ joint! I normally don’t like KBBQ that much because you get overwhelmed with boring cuts of meat that don’t taste any special from when you make it at home but GanHoo will marinate everything for you so that the sauce they provide is just extra flavor. I’ve never been to a KBBQ like this where everything actually tastes delish on its own! For AYCE It’s an absolute steal. ALSOOO their bbq is special in that it sucks the smoke and smell away right at its source! It gets sucked out to the sides before it even has time to rise. Normally you have to dress in your shabbiest clothes bc you know they’ll get ruined but not here!

Best BBQ spot in Flushing in quality and quantity. I’ve been here for dinner for à la carte BBQ and even after ordering sooo much food and drinks, it was ~50pp. For lunch 12-4:30PM, they have AYCE which is also great! The grill is high quality and the smell of bbq is not as strong as others as they have good ventilation. Interior is also nice and spacious. Highly recommend!

There are plenty of sauces and sides, the grill heat is steady, and the staff swap grates quickly. The classic Chinese-style interior is comfy and great for groups. Value is excellent: portions are generous and plates are big, so you don’t need to order a lot to leave full. Must-tries are the marbled beef slices and fattier cuts—best lightly grilled, then wrapped with crisp lettuce to balance the richness. Overall, tasty, great value, and I’ll definitely be back!

We came here as a group of 9 after spending the day at the US Open 🎾 and it was a solid spot to refuel. The staff was accommodating with our large group, and service was friendly and quick. One thing to note — the all-you-can-eat option ends at 4 PM, so if that’s what you’re looking for, plan to arrive earlier. We just missed it, but the food we ordered à la carte was fresh and tasty, with good portion sizes. Overall, it was a nice, casual place to relax after a long day, and it worked well for a big group hangout.

Excellent quality food. The Kobe fried rice is one of the best fried rices I’ve ever had. EVER Good prices. Bathroom needed an extra pass at cleaning. Can be loud at times. Parking can be a challenge. We’ll be back.

Best Korean barbecue I have every had. They provided high quality, tender meat and a nice plus was the beef tallow to took with. The service was great and very attentive. The atmosphere to me was not anything super special but nice. Had to wait to get seated and it’s 100% worth it!

As the pescatarian friend would love to see more seafood options (at all KBBQ places) but shrimp was tasty and filling for me. We had just missed the ayce timing and did a la carte which honestly was probably the right move for us (nothing wasted). Service was meh even for DIY; every time we asked for napkins you’d think we were asking for cash…not sure what that’s about. Maybe BYO towel lol. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again but I’m also not a meat eater.

We were looking for a fun family Korean bbq experience in flushing and this was a direct hit. A good time was had by all as we cooked up meat and shrimp on the bbq and added our own mix of salt, pepper and bbq seasoning. The staff is super attentive, constantly changing out the bbq and refilling water. Bigger napkins would be nice, but everything is good here and it is very lively.

Good atmosphere, and high quality food, however the service wasn’t the best. Slow to serve, and had to request multiple items repetitively to get it. The size of the salad is ridiculously small for a proper Korean BBQ experience. However the quality of the meats and ingredients were very good.
