$177+ for two people all you can eat hot pot. Good food, cute atmosphere, individual rooms for parties. Definitely on the pricy side.
I recently dined at 37 Xiang Seafood Hot Pot and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! The highlight of the experience is, of course, the hot pot. The seafood selection was fresh, varied, and of the highest quality including unlimited lobster and wagyu with a free pot of geoduck. The broth options were outstanding—we tried the winter melon seafood broth and mushroom broth. Both were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They made sure our table was well-stocked with everything we needed, and their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment. The best of all, the table is privately situated. Overall, 37 Xiang Seafood Hot Pot delivers on all fronts: incredible food, top-notch service, and a great dining environment. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends. Five stars all the way!
The reviews for 37 Xiang are various from extremely good to bad so we were so curious and decided to give it a try. The decor is elegant with authentic furniture. One of the best parts is all the tables are individual booth, which is rare in Flushing. It made us feel comfortable and relaxed when we dined there. It’s an AYCE hotpot spot and signature for its seafood, especially unlimited sashimi & oysters so the price is a little high but reasonable. The portion they served was pretty huge so we only got 2 rounds of order and felt overated. We heard some complaints about their bad service but we didn’t feel that way. The staff was friendly, attentive and served everything quickly but we visited off the peak so they might not have been as busy.
Jay and her team were amazing. We made reservations and even though we had changes they were able to accommodate us. They are currently under renovations however the new place was still beautiful and well set up. Food was delicious and fresh. Servers were attentive and constantly checking in with our table to make sure that we had enough food. Can’t wait to come back.
When I say the seafood was fresh, I mean the lobster still had attitude. Walked into Thirty Seven Xiang thinking it was gonna be your average hot pot joint—nope. This place came correct with the iced display upfront and tanks full of live swimmers giving you the side-eye before they hit your pot. You already know it’s about to go down when the seafood greets you before the waiter does. It’s an all-you-can-eat spot, but not that sketchy buffet kind. They bring everything out fresh, clean, no shortcuts. I had raw slices of wagyu, shrimp flapping like they were trying to escape, and clams so juicy they didn’t even need sauce. My friend swore by the spicy broth, but I went half-and-half, yin-yang style, because I like a little chaos in my cooking. The sauce station? Wild. Garlic, chili oil, scallion, soy, even raw egg—you can mix it up like a chemist. What got me was the setup—private room vibes with huge tables, hot pots built in, screens playing K-pop or Chinese ballads depending on the crew in the room. We stayed for hours. They don’t rush you, they don’t skimp, and the servers were on point with the refills and recommendations. Even the crab legs came out looking proud. I had to pause and appreciate the presentation before going full beast mode. By the end, I was leaned back like I just finished Thanksgiving dinner, shell bits everywhere, smiling like I survived a delicious war. If you’ve never had hot pot with lobster so fresh it still looks you in the eye, this is the spot. Come hungry, bring people who can eat, and don’t wear anything you’re scared to splash broth on.
Very fresh ingredients, clean setup, and a super nice environment! The restaurant is well-maintained and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal. Everything was neatly organized and looked appetizing. The staff was polite and helpful throughout. Best of all, the price is just right—great value for what you get. I’ll definitely be coming back!
If you’re a fan of seafood and hot pot, 37 Xiang Seafood Hot Pot Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! This place offers an all-you-can-eat seafood hot pot that truly exceeds expectations with its variety and quality. The selection of fresh seafood is impressive, ranging from shellfish to various fish cuts, all perfect for the hot pot. The broths available are flavorful and aromatic, providing the perfect base to enhance the natural tastes of the seafood. What I appreciated most was the freshness of the ingredients, ensuring that each bite was as delicious as the last. The service was attentive and quick to replenish any items we needed, keeping our feast going without any lags. Overall, 37 Xiang provides a delightful culinary experience that’s not only filling but also incredibly satisfying for any seafood lover. The combination of fresh ingredients, delicious broths, and excellent service, highly recommended!
This is hands down the best buffet I’ve had in Flushing! The ingredients are super fresh, and the dishes come out incredibly fast. The private dining rooms offer a much better experience compared to the usual open seating at other places. The dry seasoning mix for the hot pot is absolutely delicious—highly recommend!
AYCE hot pot place that serves sashimi, lobster, geoduck, snow crab, oysters etc. I believe it’s $68 per person but it’s more if you book the rooms with KTV. The meat and seafood was really fresh and it was easy ordering on the apps. The drinks were also included as well as the fruits, dessert soups, ice cream. We booked the ktv room and had to purchase a bottle of wine too. It was a really fun experience and I like how everyone has their own individual hotpot so we aren’t double dipping. The seafood was so goood!!! The sauce station does need more work but with how fresh the ingredients are, it doesn’t need much anyways. In the end we paid around $600 before tips for 10 people, which isn’t that bad for unlimited seafood and meats, and unlimited time for ktv.
This place is awesome! Seafood was really fresh. We went during a promo and got lobster, geoduck, and uni on the house! The uni wasn’t the best or the worst so no complaints as it was free. The salmon sashimi and oysters were serious highlights for our party. Don’t skip the drinks menu too! The soybean drink and ramune is included in the price! Only ding I can say was it was a little pricey (about 80pp including tax and tip) but overall I’m definitely coming back for any celebration.
The food was okay. They do not have much of a variety of sauces to marinate the meats in. You have 1 Korean BBQ sauce, and the rest are dry rubs that are way too spicy or have no taste. Cocktails were okay. The prices for them were reasonable. Service was good, language barrier. We had to repeat ourselves more than 2 times when we asked for something. Expect higher prices as you are in NY.
I had a good amount of expectations built up going into this place due family recommendation. Weekday dinner AYCE is about $55 - $60 per person after tips and taxes. The option includes raw seafood such as oysters and sashimi. We were a relatively large group and therefore reserved a KTV room for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the room was very old and worn out, the seat covers looked over washed and the room itself was cramped. There is about a two hour limit on AYCE and boy did they take their time bringing in the sashimi platter, to the point where we only had 2 platters in the two hours we were there. They only let you order one serving at a time. Mind you, we were a group of 9 so the sashimi was gone in less than 5 mins each time. That makes me wonder how genuine they are with their AYCE title. Oysters were relatively fresh, there were a couple bad ones served. Hot pot bases were just mediocre, your average flavors nothing special. If I had to say, perhaps their snowflake beef was their shining point but not sure if that makes up for the price tag. The floor in the room had a spill prior to our arrival and wasn’t properly cleaned, the whole time we were there every time we got up we had to be very careful not to slip. Sauce bar labels were half visible, the other half are not clear due to wear and tear. Overall the environment just wasn’t enjoyable.
I’ve been to the original 37 Xiang before and had an amazing experience, but since then the original location is closed and they are operating out of another restaurant. We primarily have gone to 37 Xiang for the seafood but this time around we were very disappointed by the quality and variety of the seafood. Nothing tasted fresh and even the condiment bar left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately this is is no longer the premium experience you once got, but for the same, if not higher price. We didn’t try any of the meats, so maybe that’s their saving grace. But as a place that markets themselves as a seafood specific hot pot restaurant, their quality was severely lacking. In the bright sight, the servers were really attentive. But if you walk into a place that looks like Donald Trump’s bathroom, looking for the old 37 Xiang, run!
I came back another time to give it another try. This time it was a little better. Theres a few seafood options but nothing comparable to seafood buffet around Brooklyn. Soup base is not as good despite their price of 70ish dollars. The five star reviews here are due to them giving free lobster for five stars.
The price has gone up.....it's $52 now not including taxes and tips. If you love seafood, this is the place. I have been to a few hotpot place and the seafood here is good. The seafood the place provided wasn't bad. I think the place gives everyone a room..it's great that way. Overall, it was a nice experience but because of 2 main reason I don't like it.... The shrimp cocktail was great...big and juicy. The shrimp pasta was very delicious...I'm not sure how you would describe it in English. The shrimp on the stick was very fresh. We order 2 rounds of food. The first round of food was great. We got a lot of everything....but the second round was okay. My husband lots oysters, the first round we got was in a large plate/bowl and there was a dozen. The second round was in a smaller size and there was less than dozen oysters. It was a good thing that we order a good amount of food that we didn't need to order that much in the next round. The service here is not okay but you need to ask the ladies when you want to order food. Not all males are good....we asked one of the waiter is there was the jello dessert and he answer right away that there wasn't any. His attitude wasn't good at all...he told us there was only ice cream. I can't said that it was all the waiter because there was one waiter that was nice. My husband suggested to as a waitress...when we ask a waitress for the jello, she got it for us right away. The waitresses attitude was much a lot nicer.
